    Thank you very much ...

Thank you very much for your hospitality. I stayed here on a trip with my father. Because there was a family with children next door, we were slightly bothered by the sound of running inside, and it was also difficult to use the bath with the blinds open. I found myself wondering whether it might be visible from the road across from the property. Also, since there is no hedge or barrier between neighboring terraces, I thought a low fence might be helpful. As it was the season for stink bugs, there were quite a few indoors, so additional measures would make it even better. However, the food was exceptionally delicious, so overall we were very satisfied. We would love to stay again someday.

    Hidden Hot Spring Accommodation

The reserved room's bath seemed to have an issue, so we were upgraded. Although there is no large public bath, the room's bath is an onsen and can be used anytime, which was very nice. The large windows made the space feel open and allowed us to relax comfortably. The meals were thoughtfully prepared, suited our taste, and were delicious. It has become one of the accommodations we would like to stay at again.

Not too far, not too close.

A secluded house in the mountains, yet conveniently located at a reasonable distance from Tokyo, the accommodation in Kawaba Village was truly delightful. The stylishly designed town hall building, well-equipped roadside station, and tastefully crafted village signboards were impressive. Moreover, the accommodation itself matched this refined atmosphere. The only slight disappointment was that the towels were thin and lacked quality considering the price and overall room design. Other than that, it was an excellent stay!

    You can relax comfortably.

I visited with my wife, daughter, and two grandchildren. The surrounding area offers beautiful mountain scenery with nothing obstructing the view. There is a fairly large roadside station nearby. It’s very quiet and peaceful here. The staff are kind and pleasant. The renovated Room is spacious and extremely clean, featuring two toilets. The hinoki wood bath is large enough for two people to relax comfortably together. Every meal we had was delicious. Overall, I think the quality here is exceptionally high. If I had one complaint, it would be that check-out time is at 10:00 AM—I wish it were 11:00 AM instead. Other than that, everything was perfect! Thank you for your hospitality!

The Onsen was great, but there are some areas for improvement.

The Onsen was satisfying, but I felt it was overpriced due to the Golden Week period. Here are some points of dissatisfaction: - There were no chairs at the front desk, so I had to stand during check-in. This could be tough for elderly guests. Since there are only seven rooms, room check-in might be a better option. - There was no explanation about the accommodation from the staff, and there were no guides or pamphlets in the room, which diminished the excitement of traveling. - For this price range, serving powdered roasted green tea felt like a Business Hotel experience. Tea bags would be preferable. - The dining area was small and lacked partitions between other guests, making it hard to relax. Larger partitions would improve this issue. - Many staff members were foreigners; their explanations about meals were unclear and did not encourage questions or interaction. - The view from the room showed gravel, large stones, and a highway—likely due to maintenance—but it was disappointing nonetheless. - Staff seemed inexperienced in customer service; they lacked smiles, friendliness, and a sense of hospitality. On a positive note: The room design was excellent with two toilets per room and well-equipped facilities overall. The modern Japanese style was appealing but slightly too simple—adding something like flower arrangements in an alcove would enhance it further. Both Onsen and meals were wonderful! Despite being late April, cherry blossoms could still be seen from my room—a young tree that will surely grow into something more impressive over time. I hope these areas can be improved as I look forward to visiting again if given another opportunity!

    Comfortable flooring

The room was spacious and new. The tatami still had its fresh scent, and the living room floor seemed to be made of solid wood. Plus, the floor heating made it very comfortable to walk barefoot. The bathroom was open and bright while still protecting against rain and wind, which was great. However, I couldn't figure out how to adjust the water temperature (or maybe it wasn't adjustable), so having that option would be nice. Also, it would be convenient if the shower hook could be reached while sitting on a chair. Since bath towels couldn't be hung on the towel rack, an alternative solution would be appreciated. As for meals, having draft beer available would make it even better! I tried chopped maitake mushrooms for the first time—they were absolutely delicious. The staff worked hard to explain everything in Japanese; their efforts were adorable!

    A very lovely accommodation

The meals, room, and bath were all excellent! Heartwarming meals, stylish room, and an Onsen that the whole family could enjoy! We had a luxurious time. In the morning, it started snowing, and we enjoyed a snowy view from the bath. We stayed here for our daughter's graduation family trip. It became a wonderful memory. Thank you very much!

Spent a quiet and luxurious time in the heavy snow.

Since becoming a freelancer, I have been taking solo Onsen trips once a month, something I couldn't do at all before. Escaping the crowds and noise of Tokyo, not caring for family or engaging in crowded tourism. Time just for myself is the ultimate happy time. Delicious meals and wonderful Onsen, a bit of work and lots of reading. This time, I was able to spend a wonderful time that fulfilled everything. It must be difficult for the Property staff, but amidst the extraordinary scenery of snow everywhere—falling snow and accumulating snow—I enjoyed myself with laughter alone. Thank you very much.

    The bath was nice.

I stayed for the first time. I took a break from work to relax my mind and body and stayed at this Ryokan. This year was hot, so there were still some autumn leaves left, and I was able to feel the autumn, which was nice. The semi-open-air bath in the room was good. What concerns me is There are many insects in the room (I exterminated more than 10) The glass table is dirty The outside of the refrigerator is dirty There was a bottle opener, which was nice, but it was also dirty It was difficult to communicate with the staff (I wonder if they are still not familiar with Japanese...) The cushion on the 1P sofa is also dirty There are still a few other things that concern me... If I use it again, I would be happy if these were improved. Thank you very much.
