    The dynamic Mogami River stretches out right before you.

    I love mountains and rivers, and this was my first stay because you can see both from the Room. As expected, you can see the Mogami River from the Room window, the open-air bath, and the dining area. I could also see the torii gate across the river. With only a small number of Rooms, I was truly able to relax. The Room had a lovely Tsugaru lacquerware sweets container. The open-air bath was quite hot so I didn’t stay in long, but my skin still felt wonderfully smooth afterward. One thing I personally appreciated was that the hair dryer in the women’s bath had strong airflow. All of the staff were very thoughtful, and it’s an Accommodation I’d love to visit again.

    A small, tranquil accommodation

    Overall, I was relatively satisfied. The property looks clean overall and feels appropriate for the price. Perhaps because I stayed on a windy day, there were times when outside noise was loud, and in some areas it felt budget. The Onsen water, the staff’s efforts, and the food were good. As it is in a slightly inconvenient location, I recommend it for those looking for an affordable hidden-gem Accommodation.

    We booked a connecti...

    We booked a connecting room for four people. The photos of the accommodation on the website vaguely showed a bed and living area, making it hard to understand the layout clearly. It also mentioned that an extra bed would be provided for three people, so we booked two rooms. Upon arrival and being shown to our rooms, we were surprised. One was a Western-style room with a living area, and the other was two twin-bed rooms connected as a connecting room—suitable for four people! In fact, it could accommodate six people. Wouldn't it have been better if the accommodation had confirmed this with us? Feeling disappointed, my spouse and I ended up sleeping in separate rooms. The lack of mirrors in the room was inconvenient as well. Without even a desk lamp on the table, it was too dark to manage comfortably. Additionally, staff training in attentiveness is essential. I wrote this feedback hoping for your accommodation's future improvement and success.

    Exceptional hospitality

    There was a trouble during the Reservation process, but it was handled politely and there were no issues. The service during check-in, check-out, and meals was very attentive. The Room was spacious and comfortable. The dressing area in the bath is a bit small, so we recommend using it during less crowded times. Due to rain, the Mogami River was muddy this time; I hope to visit again on a day when I can enjoy the clear blue river view.

    The pork shabu-shabu...

    The pork shabu-shabu was very tender and delicious. There were two types of broth, with a spicy option perfect for those who enjoy bold flavors, and a kombu-based broth suitable for children or those who prefer milder tastes. The young staff seemed slightly less energetic (though their service was polite). When we made a request, they responded with "Understood," which felt a bit casual—perhaps "Certainly" would be more appropriate?

    We stayed for two nights and had a wonderful time. The meals were excellent in both quantity and quality, truly delicious. The compact layout of the facility made it very easy to navigate. If I had to mention one thing, it would be nice to have one more bath available. The open-air bath along the Mogami River offered stunning views. As for Tozawa Village, there seems to be no convenience store—or perhaps just one? This actually helped us disconnect from daily life and relax completely. Thank you so much for everything! We look forward to visiting again.

    Enjoy the Mogami River

    After enjoying a boat ride on the Mogami River, I stayed at this accommodation. You can enjoy a relaxing river view from the lounge, room, bath, and dining area. The happy hour in the lounge before dinner, overlooking the Mogami River, was delightful. For dinner, the main dish was shabu-shabu with Mochi pork paired with an original sauce that was delicious. The Yamagata local sake tasting set of three varieties was also excellent. (Breakfast is relatively simple but includes Imoni soup.) The room I stayed in was a modern Japanese-style annex; however, there were some differences from the photos—except for under the bed where there is flooring, everything else had carpet (the photos showed some tatami). Additionally, chairs facing the window overlooking the river were placed on carpeted flooring; tatami might have been more relaxing in this setting. I read an article in the lounge about renovations made to some guest rooms after heavy rain damage. (However, I couldn’t find information about these renovated rooms on your website—where can it be found?) The staff provided subtle yet pleasant service. With its great location and atmosphere that makes you want to support it further, this is an accommodation worth visiting!

    A very relaxing accommodation for adults

    The room was very clean and spacious, offering a relaxing view of the Mogami River's flow. The bath had a soothing aroma of cypress, which was very calming. All the meals were delicious. I would love to visit again.
