    I’m always very satisfied.

    Every year, we stay once in late August and once more at another time. My wife and I use this Accommodation mainly for golf, and we are extremely satisfied overall: we can enjoy a great round on an excellent course, the set-course dinners (Chinese and Japanese) at the Exiv main building are delicious, and all staff provide outstanding service. There are also Korean guests, but it is mainly Japanese guests, so it is very comfortable. We would like to keep staying here for many years to come.

    What We Liked and What Could Have Been Better

    Breakfast offered a great variety. Dinner was an additional charge, so I had high expectations, and it lived up to them. There were seafood, meat, and sushi, so I was very satisfied, and I also appreciated the generous spacing between seats. Unfortunately, breakfast starts at 7:00 a.m., and the large public bath only opens at 6:30 a.m., so with our next plans we had to give up on a morning bath. Also disappointing was that there was no bottled mineral water provided in the Room. In such a remote mountain area with no convenient convenience store nearby, I was surprised to learn that you only receive one bottle per Room if you complete the survey.

    It was enjoyable.

    I have stayed at the main accommodation several times, but this was my first time in the lodge. While I was slightly concerned about the simplicity and age of the building, the room was quiet, had a great view, was clean, and spacious enough. There were events such as fireworks, Awa Odori dance, and stargazing; I participated in all of them and made wonderful memories. The explanation of stars using a laser pointer was easy to understand, allowing me to spot many stars which left me deeply impressed. The breakfast was delicious and offered excellent value for money.

    The entrance has a pleasant fragrance. The room was clean and well-maintained, providing a sense of cleanliness. The lodge is available for accommodation even if you are not an Exiv member, and the spa and morning services are shared, allowing you to enjoy a luxurious atmosphere. The Japanese-style breakfast was particularly excellent.

    The annex facilities and events are exceptional.

    I stayed with a breakfast-included plan for one night. The room was upgraded, allowing me to enjoy a spacious and comfortable stay. Although the building is older, it was clean and provided a pleasant experience. I enjoyed using the on-site spa and pool, as well as participating in events like the festival and stargazing, making my stay delightfully busy. If I visit the area again, I would definitely choose this accommodation.

    I had a comfortable stay.

    The building had some areas that felt old, but the necessary parts such as the guest rooms were renovated, so there were no issues. The spa is in a separate building, so we had to use a shuttle bus, which was a bit inconvenient, but the bus came quickly, so it was within an acceptable range. The golf course visible from the window was beautiful.

    A hotel that makes you feel good

    I stayed for 2 nights and 3 days with a meal-inclusive Plan during the less crowded period after the New Year. Both the Japanese and Chinese dinners were satisfying, and although the large public bath is a bit old, it wasn't crowded, allowing for relaxation. For sightseeing, I took a walk around Naruto Park for some exercise, and the next day, I visited Ryozenji and Gokurakuji. It has become one of the Hotels I want to visit again.

    If you love desserts, winter is recommended.

    - The best part was that for the higher-ranked Italian dinner, you could choose as many desserts as you wanted (a winter-only service). The attentive service was also wonderful. - The room was renovated and very clean. There was also a reading light, which was very satisfying. The view outside the window was like a European castle, with the main building illuminated by the morning sun. - You go to the large public bath by shuttle bus, and perhaps because it is attached to a spa, you can enjoy a luxurious feeling. It was nice that they contacted the reception for the return trip, so there was no waiting. - When choosing an Italian dinner for dinner, it was limited to 5:30 PM (5 PM during busy periods), so I wondered, "Is it because I'm a solo guest? Or because I'm not a member?" However, there were several groups of two or more guests at that time, so my dissatisfaction was resolved. - When leaving the restaurant, I was suspicious because I was charged for the dinner fee in addition to the drinks, and after some back-and-forth, it turned out that there was no coordination with the front desk. I almost ended up paying twice. It's important to ask for confirmation if you have any doubts. - The shuttle service to the airport is convenient as it accommodates any time for even one person. The route bus from the airport to the museum (Naruto Park) has few buses and may require transfers, so I thought, "I should have stayed at this hotel on the first night." - Overall, it was a hotel that made me want to visit again.

    Regarding the use of the property

    Stayed at the members-only Resort Hotel, Exiv, and Lodge, and was very satisfied. The education of the hotel employees was well done, and I had a very pleasant stay.
