    Thoughtful touches make all the difference.

    We decided to stay because we were coming in a large car, and they said they would reserve a parking space in front of the New Wing Hotel entrance for us. When we went to breakfast first thing in the morning, more than 20 students were lined up waiting. So we went back to the New Wing again. Breakfast opens 30 minutes later there, but we were able to use it at a relaxed pace. It’s considerate that guests can use both breakfast venues. The Room felt old and hadn’t been renovated yet, but I was able to stay comfortably.

    We were able to spend a fulfilling time without any shortcomings.

    I previously watched the Sansa Odori at Tsunagi Onsen and was so impressed that I wanted to see the main performance. Because I’m very sensitive to heat, I skipped all other sightseeing, stayed in my Room at this Hotel directly connected to the station, went out only at night, and waited at the Hotel again the next day before heading straight home by Shinkansen—this Hotel was perfect for that kind of trip. It was absolutely the right choice: the Room and washbasin area were spotless, the front desk staff were efficient, and breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious dishes. The seating area was not crowded either, so I was completely satisfied. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

    Very comfortable.

    I stayed here after reading the Reviews. The Room was spacious and clean, and the breakfast had a wide variety of options and was delicious. It is directly connected to the station, so you can get around without being affected by the weather, and the front desk staff were quick to respond, making for a comfortable stay. I would like to stay here again.

    The Hotel has a clea...

    The Hotel has a clean, efficient layout with simple flow, and the amenities were excellent—overall a wonderful stay! What I especially appreciated was that I could complete the check-in procedure before the official check-in time, and they placed my luggage in the Room for me. After check-in time, I simply brought the paper I received during the procedure to pick up my key, which made it easy to enter my Room smoothly.

    A trustworthy Hotel.

    I stayed here while traveling for work. The service from the front desk staff and the restaurant staff was excellent, and it felt like I received truly first-class hospitality for the first time in a while. The room was thoroughly cleaned, and I had a very comfortable stay. My father was also impressed, and we would definitely like to stay here again when visiting Morioka. Thank you very much.

    Catch a glimpse of the pride and prestige of Morioka’s guesthouse.

    I knew it was an older city Hotel, but I was assigned a room that seemed to have been renovated, so it didn’t feel dated and I had a comfortable stay. What stood out most was the breakfast. Since the venue was a Chinese restaurant, it was a buffet that included steamed Chinese dishes, and everything was delicious—easily one of the best city Hotel breakfasts I’ve had. Beyond the local ingredients, I think the soups and broths were especially well made. Combined with the wine selection casually displayed in the cellar inside the restaurant, it felt like a glimpse of Morioka’s “guesthouse” pride. Thank you very much.

    It was convenient with direct access to the station.

    The Room was very clean and well maintained. The breakfast noodles in broth and yogurt were delicious. There were many topping options for the rice porridge and salad, which was fun.

    It was a Room with a view of Mt. Iwate!

    I had always stayed in a single room before, but this time I chose a twin—and I was thrilled to see Mt. Iwate when I opened the window. There happened to be an academic conference at the same time, so the elevators and other areas were crowded. Since I only had breakfast on Sunday morning after the conference ended, I was able to enjoy it at a relaxed pace.

    The newly renovated room’s furnishings and amenities reflected thoughtful attention to detail. Everything was very clean, and I had a comfortable stay. Morioka is a wonderful city. I’d love to stay here again. Thank you.

    Autumn Journey at the Heart of Michinoku

    The accommodation is directly connected to the station, allowing access without an umbrella. However, as it is located at the northern end of the station, you will need to walk a fair distance. The entrance can be hard to find if you're not familiar with it, so step outside if you get lost. The room is spacious enough, but it's disappointing that the bathroom and toilet are in a standard hotel-style unit bath despite having space for a separate washing area. A large desk with a big TV makes it convenient for spreading out your belongings. Some rooms offer train views as well. Being near the station provides easy access to shopping and dining both at and around the station. There’s also a 24-hour convenience store next to the lobby on the first floor, so there’s no need to worry about missing meals. Dinner options for guests seem to be available as well.

    Conveniently located...

    Conveniently located near the downtown area with excellent accessibility, we chose to make a Reservation here. The twin Room with a sofa bed was spacious and comfortable, allowing us to relax without any inconvenience. The bathroom was of an adequate size and easy to use. Additionally, being able to watch the Shinkansen arrivals and departures up close from the room window was a wonderful experience. As for breakfast, we were very satisfied with the extensive selection of dishes in the Chinese buffet. Although the expressions and attitude of the front desk staff felt slightly cold, overall, we were highly satisfied with our stay.

    I had a comfortable and trouble-free stay.

    It was my first time in Morioka, so I chose this accommodation to avoid any confusion. The room was clean, and the staff responded accurately to my inquiries, allowing me to have a comfortable stay. I deducted one point for the bath because it would have been even better if there was a large public bath; however, this is just a "wish" and not a fault of the hotel staff. Thank you very much.

    Convenient Hotel

    Directly connected to Morioka Station, this accommodation offers great convenience and is my go-to choice whenever I visit Morioka. I have only stayed in single rooms, but they are adequately spacious, clean, and offer excellent value for money. The amenities provided are sufficient, and this time I noticed that the hairdryer was relatively new and very easy to use.

    This was my first stay. It was quiet, and the Room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast had many Chinese dishes, which were different from other Hotel menus, leaving a good impression.

    You can see the Shinkansen from the twin room.

    It was a very comfortable stay. I usually have trouble sleeping when traveling, but the Twin Room was spacious, the bed was extremely comfortable, and I slept soundly. The bathroom was a typical unit bath and felt slightly small, but it was thoroughly cleaned, so there were no issues. There was a large desk and mirror near the TV, which made it convenient for getting ready or doing makeup. The Chinese dining option for breakfast was a first for me. While I initially worried about having Chinese food in the morning, they also offered local specialties like Kiritanpo and Morioka Cold Noodles alongside a variety of dishes. The Chinese congee was absolutely delicious—I even went back for seconds! The coffee also seemed to be made with high-quality beans, which allowed me to relax in my room afterward—a small but delightful point. A surprising highlight of our stay came in the morning when we opened the curtains to find an excellent view of the Shinkansen trains passing by. My husband, who loves photography, enjoyed capturing them on camera. Lastly, all of the staff members were friendly and attentive with their smiles and service. Thanks to them, we had no issues during our stay in Morioka—thank you!

    The property seems to have been renovated, making it very user-friendly and clean. It also appeared to be well-maintained. Depending on the direction, there may not be any view, but it should not be an issue for business use.

    I will use it again.

    I use this place to take my mother out during my visits home. The view of Mt. Iwate and the Shinkansen from the window delighted the children, and our two-night stay flew by. My mother especially enjoyed the breakfast buffet, making it a wonderful summer vacation. I will definitely use this place again!

    The location next to Morioka Station Building (Fesan) was very convenient.

    I stayed here for the first time in May 2025 during a trip. Since I traveled by car, I parked in the Hotel's designated parking lot. It was helpful to check the parking location online beforehand, as it was a multi-story parking structure that could be hard to find at first glance. Additionally, being an older self-parking facility, the passageways were narrow and required careful maneuvering due to limited space. The parking fee is 800 yen per night and is prepaid at the Hotel front desk during checkout. The Room was a twin room facing towards Morioka Station's platform; however, I couldn't see any bullet trains from there. The Room included a table and chairs. The bathroom is a unit bath with the toilet inside as well. Amenities were provided on the sink counter. One of this Hotel's advantages is its proximity to Fesan shopping mall next to Morioka Station, making shopping very convenient.

    As is often the case with first-time stays, there was a room upgrade.

    Arrived around 5 PM, exhausted from exploring Akita's hidden hot springs. Check-in was swift, and the room was upgraded. The room's cleanliness and well-equipped amenities made for a very comfortable stay, allowing for a refreshed return home the next day. Although it was a No Meals Included plan, the convenience store on-site and the adjacent station building at Morioka Station ensured there were no inconveniences. The only regret was not asking at the front desk about lunch reservations at New Wing for the following day. Without clear maps nearby, I assumed there would be guidance in the station building but ended up prioritizing shopping instead. Unable to locate it, I had to ask at the tourist information center where they provided a map—it turned out to be somewhere you wouldn't find without asking directly.

    Excellent service

    It was my first stay in a while, but the front desk staff answered my questions pleasantly. I was satisfied with both the room and breakfast. The service at the restaurant was also attentive and excellent.

    Directly connected to Morioka Station

    Polite reception service. A calm and clean Hotel. A famous traditional cold noodle and BBQ restaurant is right in front of the Hotel, and a renowned sushi restaurant is located in the basement of the adjacent building. The breakfast was excellent and health-conscious, featuring local dishes like Kiritanpo hot pot, Chinese porridge, handmade dim sum in steamers, steamed vegetables, Chinese sticky rice, as well as small croissants and pastries that were very delicious. The Room was calm and clean with an air purifier equipped with a mist function and a large-screen TV where you could watch YouTube or Netflix. I plan to stay here again for work or with my family on my next visit to Morioka.

    Due to delays within JR Hokkaido, I ended up arriving on the last flight, but

    I appreciated the courteous service. Being directly connected to the station was really helpful, and the breakfast the next morning was quite delicious. I will use it again if I have the opportunity.

    Evaluate the location and the size of the Room

    For business use. The building feels a bit old, but being directly connected to the station makes it very convenient for business use. The Room was spacious and the amenities were good. Once you get used to the route to the entrance, it shouldn't be a problem.

    The staff at the Hotel were very helpful. I was in trouble as I fell ill during the night of my stay, but when I consulted with the front desk over the phone, they kindly found a hospital where I could be seen. Thanks to them, I was able to receive a medical examination. I am sincerely grateful for their kindness. Thank you very much. The location of the Hotel is also convenient as it is directly connected to the station, and I think it is a good Hotel with easy-to-use Rooms.
