    It was a wonderful Hotel.

    I stayed in a Room with an open-air bath. The Room includes a bedroom and a separate TV room (living area), plus a washroom separate from the open-air bath. Everything is contained within the Room, so you don’t need to go out except for meals. However, the private open-air bath requires a Reservation and is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Only evening slots were available for me, so I enjoyed a relaxing soak after dinner. Because there’s no roof, it may be a bit difficult to use on rainy days, but it’s a wonderfully refreshing open-air bath. The meals were as highly rated—very delicious—and it was fun to try various dishes made with local vegetables. If I have the chance, I’d love to stay at this Accommodation again. The dining area was also lovely; in the morning, the veranda felt especially pleasant.

    Attentive, personalized hospitality

    True to its name as a small Hotel, it was a wonderful Hotel with a playful touch. The food was delicious, and I felt this is a Hotel that really works hard. What especially stayed with me was that in the morning, I happened to see someone cleaning my car’s windshield from my Room window. I hurried outside to say thank you, and they replied with a smile, “So you can enjoy the beautiful view clearly.” Wonderful. We will stay again.

    A sparkling boutique Hotel like a kaleidoscope

    I had such a wonderful time at this lovely Hotel that I decided to post again for the first time in a while. The whole Hotel feels like a large private home. Each Room isn’t huge, but both at the front desk and in the Room, you’re surrounded by adorable furniture and decorations—it’s simply enchanting. And the private open-air bath is an incredibly luxurious space: spacious and elegant, yet still charmingly cute, making you feel like you never want to leave… haha The meals were centered around vegetable dishes—gentle on the body and truly delicious. At the same time, I was impressed by how professional the staff were. Their hospitality is warm and kind, yet they work efficiently! Looking back on my time at the Hotel now, it feels like a kaleidoscope that was in the Room—a slightly colorful, sparkling, adorable space… I’ll be back again!

    Relaxed, luxurious comfort for adults

    We were satisfied with everything—the guest room, the private open-air bath, and the restaurant. The retro furnishings in the room were truly comforting, and we were impressed by the thoughtful care in the meals. We enjoyed a level of luxury that exceeded the price. This is a Hotel we would love to visit again. The Hotel staff were also wonderful. As I get older, I find peace in an Accommodation like this. I hadn’t had many chances to visit Chichibu before, but this was an excellent Hotel as a base for visiting Mitsumine Shrine, Chichibu Shrine, and Hodosan Shrine (the Chichibu Three Shrines pilgrimage), as well as sightseeing in Nagatoro. Thank you very much.

    A Birthday Getaway

    This was my first stay. On my birthday, during the beautiful autumn foliage season, I enjoyed stunning views of the colorful leaves from every window in Room C. The autumn sunset and morning sunlight were truly delightful. The private open-air bath surrounded by autumn leaves was also breathtaking, with perfect water temperature that made me lose track of time. Dinner featured a calming menu full of local vegetables that felt nourishing for the body, and I thoroughly enjoyed everything from appetizers to dessert! Although I had eaten plenty at dinner, breakfast was so warm and comforting that I finished it all with great satisfaction. The staff provided just the right balance of attentive yet unobtrusive service, allowing me to have a relaxing and pleasant time. I would love to stay here again!

    A Relaxing Space

    The high reviews caught our attention, and this time we stayed for the first time with my husband.     A Dreamy Space and Time

    This was my second stay, the first being with my husband. I was so impressed by the beautiful room and excellent service last time that I decided to come back for a girls' gathering. This time, I visited with three of my classmates. Since it was hot, sightseeing wasn't our priority—we planned our trip around staying at this wonderful hotel. I thought they would love it, but their reaction exceeded all expectations! The classic car pick-up service, the refreshing outdoor open-air bath, the delicious meals full of fresh vegetables, and the elegant furnishings—everything was perfect. The staff's thoughtful hospitality truly stood out! This is a hotel that offers more than its price suggests. I hope to visit again someday!

    Excellent value for money

    I stayed in Room T for one night over the weekend. The furnishings and meals showed great attention to detail, yet the atmosphere was warm and relaxing without being overly formal, making my stay very comfortable.     We stayed here to celebrate my father's 80th birthday and my mother's birthday. As mentioned in other reviews, the meals are absolutely wonderful! Upon entering the restaurant, staff greeted us at the entrance and said, "Please choose something that feels comfortable in your hand," allowing us to select from a variety of chopsticks with different lengths and thicknesses. It was such a unique and delightful experience. The dishes were mostly vegetable-based and very healthy. Even kale, which I usually don't like, was incredibly delicious. After dinner, they brought a birthday cake to our room as a surprise celebration for my mother. She was so delighted that she couldn't help but exclaim with joy! The staff's attentiveness and warm smiles made our time there truly pleasant. This time we came by car, but I would love to try the classic car shuttle service next time. I'm looking forward to visiting again with my close friends!

    A Final Trip for a Family of Two

    I used the Maternity Plan and had a very relaxing time. A classic car picked us up at the nearest station, Nogami, and it was about a 10-minute drive to the accommodation. As the rainy season approached, the umbrella decorations at Nagatoro Auto Camp were lovely. After arriving, I enjoyed cold barley tea in my room. It was nice that it was chilled in a pot. The transparent bottle in the refrigerator contained delicious cider. I enjoyed it on a beautiful Karimoku sofa. The room wear was comfortable samue, and I borrowed maternity-specific ones. The jacket and stole were also soft to touch and easy to use. When it was time for our private open-air bath session, we moved to an area across from the accommodation. Overall, everything within the facility is impeccably clean. Although there are many antique items, they are well-maintained and spotless. The bath itself was not only clean but spacious as well; I could relax while lying on tatami benches in the rest area listening to rain sounds. Dinner featured a course full of vegetables with both Japanese and Western elements incorporated into it. Every dish tasted amazing! The non-alcoholic Bitter Yellow gave me that beer-like feeling of happiness. The refreshing soba noodles served at the end surprised both my husband and me with their tastefulness as we ate them together. While we found ourselves satisfied with portions overall by then—those rice balls looked too tempting not to order via room service—and they turned out just as delicious! Later after dinner came another chance: using our guestroom’s open-air bath again amidst nature (though some insects naturally exist here). Everything remained thoroughly cleaned; its spaciousness allowed plenty more unwinding moments over three separate uses—including morning wake-up times before departure day arrived. Breakfast dishes showed careful preparation down-to-detail per item served—the fish grilled tenderly beyond expectations alongside miso soup featuring flavorful greens whose vegetable origins piqued curiosity enough afterward back home ordering Hoba Miso online became inevitable due unforgettable dining experiences shared earlier during stay altogether!     A Truly Wonderful Hotel

    The amenities were excellent, and the Room's interior was very stylish. The vegetable-focused meals were not greasy and easy to eat. Having a private open-air bath was a great feature, and the hospitality was exceptional—there are countless wonderful aspects to mention. Especially, the dinner was delicious. The tofu at breakfast was also very tasty. The use of many homemade ingredients and dishes left a strong impression. It was very comfortable staying here. I will visit again!

    The meals were delicious.

    I stayed in the S Room. The accommodation had a charming atmosphere, and the facility, including the bath, was thoroughly cleaned, allowing for a very comfortable stay. The meals were centered around local vegetables and were delicately prepared and seasoned, making everything delicious. On a personal note, I found it unfortunate that the evening staff wore masks and encouraged alcohol disinfection as part of lingering COVID-19 measures. Repeated use of alcohol disinfectant can harm the skin, and I believe staff smiles without masks are more pleasant. I sincerely hope we can return to normal hospitality from better times soon.

    Everything was completely satisfying!

    This was my first visit. I stayed for one night with the 【All-Inclusive Plan】 featuring a seasonal vegetable kaiseki meal and a private bath for a luxurious and relaxing time in the 【S Room】 accommodation. The decor of the hotel and the atmosphere of the room were to my taste and absolutely wonderful. While some facilities felt dated, the attention to detail more than made up for it, which was charming. The private bath in the room also provided a very relaxing experience. The meals were full of vegetables, giving a detoxifying feeling. Breakfast was delicious as well, though I couldn't finish it all—my apologies! (I should have requested smaller portions from the start.) Additionally, since it was an all-inclusive plan, I enjoyed drinks from arrival until checkout, which was definitely a highlight. A stroll around areas like the campsite was refreshing too; I would love to visit this accommodation again during another season!

    I now understand why this accommodation has such high ratings. We visited for a maternity trip, and it was a wonderful place to relax both physically and mentally, with exceptional hospitality. With only a few rooms available, there is none of the noise often experienced in larger accommodations, allowing guests to enjoy the tranquility of the room while feeling connected to nature outside. The room amenities and drinks were also excellent, including Chichibu tea and freshly ground coffee, making for a truly relaxing time in the room. As I was pregnant during my stay, I greatly appreciated thoughtful gestures such as providing caffeine-free beverages and offering pillows for back support. These considerations made my experience even more comfortable. This is truly an ideal place for expectant mothers who may be feeling tired from their daily routines—highly recommended! As others have mentioned as well, the meals were absolutely outstanding. The full-course dinner featuring seasonal vegetables brought out each vegetable's unique flavor—it was incredibly delicious and moving! For breakfast, we enjoyed appetizers centered around vegetables along with homemade yogurt while gazing at bamboo groves illuminated by morning sunlight—a perfect way to start the day. The private bath within our room allowed us to bathe whenever we wanted—a very convenient feature. The staff members were extremely attentive yet maintained just the right amount of distance while being considerate in every way.     Having had such a wonderful time during our previous stay, we decided to visit again within the year. To summarize, this stay was just as fulfilling as the last. The outdoor bath in the crisp air of the colder season was incredibly refreshing, allowing us to enjoy the clear atmosphere and twilight skies—a true highlight of the large open-air bath. We also tried the private family bath within the accommodation this time, which was excellent. We stayed in a first-floor Japanese-style room with a garden view this time. The layout was convenient and close to the family bath, which we really appreciated. The highlight of our visit—the seasonal December menu—was absolutely outstanding. Both dinner and breakfast were filled with smiles for my spouse and me. The soba noodles at the end were truly delicious. The dessert platter we requested separately was delightful as well, and your thoughtful gestures with cards and gifts were deeply appreciated. Thanks to you, I had an unforgettable birthday celebration. We are sincerely grateful for each staff member's warm hospitality and unwavering smiles once again. We look forward to returning in the future!

    A quiet adult Stays

    It was a hotel where you could relax and unwind. The quality of the amenities was good, and the drinks in the room (especially the coffee) were delicious. The furniture and decorations were classic and very calming. The food and service were, of course, also satisfying.

    I came across a wonderful Stays.

    A small property with delicious cuisine, I have a few favorite properties like this, and I found another one. Nagatoro is about an hour and a half from my home, so it was a day trip course, but I didn't know there was such a wonderful property... The exterior is quaint, and once you step inside, it's like wandering into another world surrounded by antiques... The room was also relaxing. The restaurant is also lovely. The delicious meals are doubled. With over 50 types of local vegetables, not only were they all delicious, but it felt like my body was being cleansed. The pairing wine was also from Saitama Prefecture and matched the cuisine. And the hand-made soba by the chef who came to greet us (new soba from Horokanai) was so delicious that even my soba-loving husband, who usually avoids buckwheat noodles due to their crumbly image, was impressed. I wanted to say thank you. Also, the staff were different at night and in the morning, but everyone was full of hospitality, and I felt the love for C'est la vie. The coffee after breakfast on the terrace was also delicious... Why is everything so delicious! Combined with the atmosphere inside the property, it became a stay that escaped the mundane world. I would like to wander into another world again.

    This time, we stayed...

    This time, we stayed here for a trip that is easily accessible from Tokyo. The hotel is near a campsite, with nature close by, such as Nagatoro's river rafting, which was also one of our purposes. It seems that rooms for families with children are somewhat predetermined, and ours was at the back on the first floor. It was a nostalgic space, like visiting grandma's house, with old-fashioned toys. The kaleidoscope felt aged but was treated with care and was mystical. The open-air bath attached to the room was great. The hospitality and cuisine at this hotel were wonderful. We always look forward to meals when traveling, and both dinner and breakfast were very delicious. Thank you for your hospitality.

    A petite Hotel nestled within an auto camping site. With only five Rooms, the staff's dedication to ensuring a pleasant stay was evident throughout. Their approach was never overbearing, allowing us to relax and enjoy our time naturally. The interior design of the Hotel and Rooms, as well as the carefully selected small items, reflected great attention to detail. Antique lovers and fans of handcrafted works will surely appreciate it. The cuisine lived up to its reputation; it was my first time enjoying such a variety of vegetables. Each dish was intricate yet gentle on both heart and body—deliciously soothing for the eyes, mind, and soul alike. The choice of tableware was also exceptional. Despite being luxurious and satisfying, there were no feelings of heaviness or discomfort afterward—a rare experience for me. Breakfast was equally outstanding. For once, every dish felt essential; nothing seemed unnecessary or out of place. Although we visited slightly before peak autumn foliage season, the lush greenery itself was stunningly beautiful and healing. I believe each season brings its own unique charm here—I look forward to visiting again in another season. Oh! I must also mention how delightful both the private open-air bath in our Room and the shared open-air bath were!     It was a wonderful Stays as per the Review. We received excellent service in every aspect and were able to enjoy the Onsen and wonderful meals at a leisurely pace. I think it embodies the charm of a small Hotel. I was impressed that they carefully wiped the car windows before we left. I would like to visit again. Thank you for a great stay.

    So close by

    I have stayed at various hotels and inns until now, but I never knew there was such a relaxing place with delicious food so close by! I wish I had known about it sooner. It's a hotel for adults that you'll want to visit repeatedly.
