    Overall, it feels outdated.

    It must have been a wonderful place in the past. However, I felt the bath could be kept a bit cleaner. Also, I visited with my mother, who uses a wheelchair, but there was little consideration for accessibility, and overall the service felt poor for a hospitality business. Considering the Facility and service, I think the price is high.

    I used the “Thank You for Your Hard Work During Golden Week” Plan. I was able to relax in the Onsen and went to the pool many times, which was very refreshing! It really helped me recover from fatigue, and it was wonderful. Next time I stay, I’d like to try the Japanese cuisine as well!

    I was able to relax and enjoy a quiet stay.

    My parents stayed here because they had been interested in it for a while. Since it was a weekday, it was fairly quiet and they were able to relax. They were also happy that other older guests were using the pool too, so they felt comfortable using it without hesitation, and they said the food was beautifully presented and delicious!

    A Trip for Three Female Friends

    It was quiet, the meal portions were just right, and the hot spring water was smooth and wonderful. We were able to relax and enjoy great conversation. However, last time dinner included plenty of vegetables, so this time it felt a bit lacking. To make up for it, we ended up having seconds of the delicious freshly baked bread. It’s a Hotel we’d like to visit again.

    Refresh with delicious dining and spa bathing surrounded by lush greenery!!

    On the second day of our trip, we took it easy and arrived in about an hour from Himi. Before check-in, we strolled around Sakuragaike and felt refreshed by nature. This Plan came with great perks—an upgraded Room, free ice cream, a drink with dinner, free swimsuit rental, and 12:00 check-out—so it was an excellent value! The Room was spacious, with cute wallpaper, and the walk-in closet had plenty of hangers. After entering the lobby, there were furnishings on the right by the restaurant that perfectly matched our taste, and the high, bright ceiling chandelier on the left near the front desk was also wonderful. Since check-in is at 14:00, we headed straight to the pool and enjoyed it to the fullest—it was truly relaxing! After that we went to the large public bath. Each time you use it you can get a full set of towels, and guests can also borrow slightly higher-grade shampoo and other amenities, so it was very convenient not having to bring anything from the Room. For dinner we chose French cuisine; it was beautifully presented and delicious. We also enjoyed the Japanese breakfast served in a basket-style arrangement the next morning. With late check-out we could really take our time—we even went back to both the pool and baths after lunch. It’s conveniently located right next to a smart interchange.

    I was soothed by the wonderful atmosphere.

    I made the reservation because of good reviews and accessibility, and it was the right choice. The hotel's exterior was a bit plain, but inside, the European-style decor, beautiful paintings on the walls, and spacious atmosphere were impressive. The guest room also had lovely interior design. It would have been perfect if the toilet was separate. The provided amenities were thoughtfully selected, and even the capsule coffee was delicious despite not being from a major brand. However, the yukata felt slightly worn out; having pajamas would have been nice too. Dinner was French cuisine—true to its auberge reputation—and it was absolutely delicious. The only downside for me personally was that I didn’t like their bread (I’m quite particular about bread). It would be great if they could offer more glass wine options as well! Breakfast featured Japanese dishes with a handmade touch that I thoroughly enjoyed; perhaps just a little more saltiness could enhance it further. The location is excellent—right off the highway exit—and very close to the parking lot of a highway oasis known for its delicious rice balls. I’d love to visit again during cherry blossom season!

    Thank you for your hospitality. First of all, it was unseasonably hot that day. Since the air conditioning in the building was already set for winter, cooling was not available, and it was quite warm. Although the window was opened with a screen in place, it was unfortunately rainy outside, making it very humid. There were countless stink bugs on the screen, and some managed to get inside through gaps, which was quite troublesome. The staff kindly removed them for us, but... As for the meals, dinner was absolutely delicious! It was Western-style, which was refreshing and tasty since we usually have Japanese cuisine. During dinner, we requested a fan, and you kindly provided one. Thank you very much. Next, the bath. There were so many day-use visitors that it was a bit disappointing as we had hoped to relax. So, we decided to go in around 10:00 PM after the day-use guests had left. However, the changing room wasn’t very clean at that time... Despite everything, the hairdryer in the Room was the same as the one we have at home, which made me oddly happy. The building was adorned with beautiful paintings everywhere, creating a lovely atmosphere. There were also charming ornaments placed here and there, reflecting the owner's excellent taste. Although I’ve written a lot, thank you for everything. Our trip to Toyama Prefecture was filled with wonderful memories.

    The pool and breakfast are both highly satisfying.

    The staff were very polite and kind. The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast had a wide variety of dishes; it was lightly seasoned but very delicious. I enjoyed clearing my body at the pool and Onsen. I would love to stay here again.

    The view wasn’t very good due to the rain.

    I couldn’t adjust the room temperature myself, so it was hot. The balcony was dirty and not clean. The food was lightly seasoned and delicious. As a Diamond member benefit, I received some delicious cookies—they were very good. When I left, I also received a glasses/smartphone cleaning cloth towel. Thank you very much.

    A Property of Exquisite Gastronomy

    When I first visited a year ago during the New Year's special period, I honestly did not have a very good experience, as I mentioned in a past Review. However, seeing various positive reputations, I kept wondering if this might actually be a truly excellent Property, so I decided to revisit after roughly a year. As a result, I was able to confirm that it is indeed an outstanding Property. True to its name as an auberge, you can enjoy delicious French cuisine made with local ingredients for dinner, paired with wine from the excellent nearby winery, Domaine Beau. For breakfast, they provided a wholesome Japanese meal. Many Properties serve mediocre tea, but here they use Dilma, which is a big plus. Above all, the attentiveness and care of the staff allowed me to enjoy a comfortable stay throughout. Recently, many Properties are overflowing with foreign guests, but this was not the case here, and the accommodation costs are also very reasonable, which is another appreciated point. The only downside I would mention is that the Onsen Facility is heavily used by day visitors, which made it a bit difficult to relax as a staying guest.

    I was soothed by the Onsen pool and delicious meals.

    The Room was spacious, and with amenities like loungewear and disposable slippers, I was able to stay comfortably. The meals were all delicious, but my husband seemed slightly unsatisfied, so I thought it would have been nice if there were bread refills available during dinner. For breakfast, I think it would be better if guests could choose between white rice and brown rice, as some people might not prefer brown rice. The pool was clean, and the Onsen was also comfortable to use. However, the mat in front of the shoe rack did not feel very clean, and I think it would be better if there was something like a slatted wooden platform where the spin dryer is placed. Guests are provided with one set of towels when going to the pool. Shampoo and other items are also lent out at that time, but we were asked to thoroughly dry ourselves after coming out of the pool. If possible, it would be appreciated if separate towels could be provided for pool use and bathing. Overall, I was satisfied with the pool, Onsen, and meals. I would like to use this Property again if I have the opportunity.

    Hello Nature

    I had a pleasant and comfortable stay!

    The Room was clean, cozy, and provided a very comfortable stay. I was soothed by the satoyama scenery and the view of the snowy mountains, allowing me to relax and unwind. After a good night's sleep, I woke up to a healthy breakfast of brown rice, which was delicious. Although it was just a one-night stay this time, the Hotel offers not only Onsen baths but also an Onsen pool, and the surrounding area seems enjoyable for a stroll. Next time, I would love to stay for several days to refresh and embark on a journey to restore my health. After checking out, I explored the surrounding area and had lunch at the Hotel's restaurant. I indulged in fresh seafood and also enjoyed cakes made by the patissier, making it a blissful moment. I will visit again.

    Although it was October, the indoor air conditioner could only provide heating, so it was hot and I had to open the window. Other than that, it was very good.

    Thoughtful consideration

    Due to health reasons, I have a salt restriction, but they accommodated my low-salt needs for both dinner and breakfast, allowing me to enjoy my meals with peace of mind. The sense of security when staying at accommodations or dining out is limited, so I was very grateful. The water, especially in the open-air bath, was at the perfect temperature and very soothing. Thank you.
