    The facilities are good, but

    There is no phone in the Room to reach the front desk; you are expected to install LINE or use the website to contact them. There is no support at night. If something happens at night, there is no one at the front desk, and you are told to call the phone number displayed there. What are you supposed to do if something happens while you’re alone in your Room? Cleaning was not thorough: the bathroom floor felt slippery, hair floated up when filling the tub, and there were stains on the sofa. The Facility is thoughtfully set up for international guests, but operations are disappointing.

    A wonderful Hotel.

    The stay was stress-free as always. There was no crowd at the reception during check-in or check-out, and we rarely encountered other guests in the elevator. As a family with children, choosing a Hotel with fewer points to worry about is important for us. Thank you for providing champagne and organic orange juice in the refrigerator. The access was excellent since there was an event at Tokyo Dome again. We look forward to staying here next time as well!

    A quiet and comfortable Hotel located in the heart of Tokyo.

    If you are expecting a hotel where staff carry large luggage to your room, offer cold tea and towels at the front desk, arrange restaurant reservations or taxis, recommend shops for delicious souvenirs, provide perfect late-night service, and have a full lineup of room service, this accommodation is not suitable for you. It's not about good or bad; the concept here is to minimize staffing with the front desk handling only check-in/out and basic services. The facility is locked at night. While there’s no room service, a refreshment space offers drinks, ice cream, rice crackers, and snacks as part of their hospitality. This approach allows them to offer accommodations in this prime location at an almost miraculous price range—it’s all about philosophy. What makes this possible are the nine rooms in this hotel that each boast exceptional quality. Despite being located in central Ochanomizu, it’s remarkably quiet. The tatami flooring provides comfort with furniture designed for ease of use on tatami spaces. Each room features a deep ceramic bathtub that offers an unparalleled bathing experience as if being enveloped by warm water. This accommodation focuses on maximizing relaxation within your room—just enjoy it as it is intended! With four stations (Ochanomizu, Shin-Ochanomizu, Awajicho, Ogawamachi) within about five minutes’ walking distance each way and nearby convenience stores (though slightly hidden underground near Nihon University) along with plenty of great restaurants around the area—you’ll never feel inconvenienced during your stay. The library also has unique and interesting books to explore. For those who prefer planning their own travel itinerary while enjoying quiet relaxation during their hotel stay—this hidden gem couldn’t be more ideal. One suggestion: since tea-related themes inspire much of its design concept here—it would be wonderful if they could expand the selection of teas available in-room!

    Warm and welcoming hospitality

    It was a family trip with two small children. The washing machine was free to use, and there was also a microwave. We enjoyed the canned beer, bottled cola, and Haagen-Dazs ice cream in the lounge. Thank you for the complimentary sandwiches the next morning and even providing organic orange juice. I think it is a wonderful Hotel.

    A relaxing Hotel

    A rare Japanese-style Room in Tokyo. The Japanese-style Room was very convenient as we had an 8-month-old child. The Room was spacious, and the low bed height ensured safety and comfort during our stay. The bathroom in the Room also offered a traditional Japanese feel, allowing for a relaxing stay! There is a delicious cake shop nearby, as well as a supermarket, making it very convenient.

    Convenient access to Tokyo Dome

    Excellent location. The subway is nearby, and there is a convenience store close by. We appreciated having futons set up for children in the tatami area. The bathroom is spacious, and the showerhead has sufficient water pressure. Perfect for watching baseball games as Tokyo Dome is just around the corner. Would love to stay here again!

    A hidden retreat nestled in the heart of Tokyo. We hope its unique charm will always be preserved.

    It was probably my first stay in about 10 years since before the pandemic. I had sent my luggage in advance and consulted with them about various matters, and they handled everything without any issues, which was very helpful. The location is Ochanomizu. Despite being in the heart of Tokyo, it offers an unexpectedly serene and quiet space. The Rooms are all based on traditional Japanese tatami style, continuing the design of a Ryokan with historical roots. The highlight is the bath. It’s a large circular bath made of ceramic. While you can’t fully stretch your legs, the ample hot water envelops your entire body, which is a delight for a bath enthusiast like me. There is a public space where you can enjoy free drinks and books, but when I tried to relax and read, I found that foreign tourists had left an overwhelming amount of trash behind, which completely ruined the atmosphere for me, so I decided not to use it. The Hotel seems to have reduced staff to the bare minimum, so some issues may be unavoidable, but leaving such things unattended will lower the level of the Hotel. I strongly hope they will firmly communicate at check-in that such behavior is unacceptable.
