    The meals were absolutely delicious!

    I heard this is the oldest property in Reggina. The building did feel a bit dated, but it was kept very clean. The bedding was comfortable and I slept well. The staff were especially wonderful. Reggina is consistently pet-first, which made us feel at ease. Both dinner and breakfast were Japanese-style and very delicious.

    We stayed at Hakone ...

    We stayed at Hakone Regina last year and loved it, so we chose this property. We had made a Reservation in February for our dog’s birthday, but heavy snow prevented us from coming, so this visit was our second attempt. It was a trip with my daughter, grandchild, and our dog. In Hakone we had in-room dining, but here meals are served in the restaurant. During dinner, we were able to have our dog sit in one of the carts provided by Regina, and she behaved wonderfully. She normally doesn’t ride in a cart, but she ended up loving it! The food was delicious, and since my daughter’s and grandchild’s birthdays were coming up, we ordered a tart cake. We were able to celebrate their birthdays as well, which became a truly wonderful memory. We also received photos. We could relax comfortably in the Room, and since there is an Onsen bath in the Room as well, we enjoyed that at a leisurely pace. The dog run also felt almost private—maybe there weren’t many other dogs—so we had a great time. The wood chips are gentle on their paws. On the way home, there was a pool set up so we let our dog swim, and she was thrilled! The life jackets and blower were very helpful. She dried quickly with minimal stress. Compared with Hakone last year, some of the staff service felt a bit cold this time. Maybe it was because there were more guests or because dining is in the restaurant rather than in-room? It would have been nicer if they had spoken to the dogs a little more. Also at Hakone before, the mattress was very comfortable and helped relieve fatigue; later I contacted them and bought the same brand mattress (Serta). This time it seemed like a different mattress brand/model than before, which was slightly disappointing. Next time I’d like to stay at another Regina property again. Thank you for all your help!

    Spring Break at Lake Kawaguchi

    I visited during cherry blossom season. Access from Tokyo was convenient. The Facility felt a bit old overall, but it was spacious and clean, and I had a very comfortable stay. It was peak blossom season, so there were many guests. The dog run was a little small and did not have artificial turf. The Room we stayed in was on the 2nd floor. The dog amenities were well stocked—so much that we could have traveled empty-handed. There were two beds, and our dogs could relax and sleep freely. It seems the bathroom has floor heating, but the floor felt quite cold, and it was a bit chilly even in early April. The bathtub was very deep, the water temperature was perfect, and I used it morning and night during our stay. Meals were Japanese kaiseki served at the restaurant, and you can also order meals for your dogs separately. The food was Ryokan-level with high quality; both the taste and portions were just right for me. We enjoyed both dinners over our two-night stay. The drink menu is also extensive, and the wine is reasonably priced. Since it was one of our dogs’ birthdays, they gave us a small cake for dogs and an anniversary photo as gifts—thank you very much. All staff members were kind and courteous—thank you—and they were very friendly to our dogs as well. This is a Facility I would like to use again. Next time, I’d like to book a Room with its own dog run.

    Old, poorly maintained, dirty, and smelly.

    The room smelled of mold and dust. The terrace was old and covered with leaves and debris. The exterior glass was dirty. Both dinner and breakfast portions were small; the fish was old dried fish, and the seaweed was stale and tasted bad. I don’t even want to talk about the service—everything was done their way, not from the guest’s perspective. It was terrible, and I will not go again.

    It was a very satisfying and relaxing Accommodation.

    My spouse and I stayed for one night with our small dog. There were quite a lot of stairs, which was a bit challenging for me due to my mobility issues (we had chosen the Room with the most stairs), but even so, we were very satisfied with both the Room and the meals. We checked in early and were able to relax in the Room while enjoying the sound of birds. The kaiseki cuisine was beautifully seasoned to bring out the natural flavors of each ingredient, and we savored every dish. Breakfast was also Japanese-style, and we were surprised by how much was prepared from early in the morning. There were plenty of well-prepared items for dogs as well, so we hardly needed to use anything we brought. If I had one small request, it would be that the cleansing amenity came in an individually packaged portion that felt too small and was a bit inconvenient to use, and there was no hair lotion available in the morning before using the hair dryer—so next time I will bring my own. It was an Accommodation we would definitely like to visit again.

    It was a wonderfully refreshing trip that left us completely satisfied.

    We stayed here to celebrate the end of my husband’s busy season and the end of my morning sickness. The Room and Facility were flawless, and even on a rainy day, every thoughtful detail was taken care of, so we had an extremely comfortable stay. We also felt so much hospitality and love for our dog, and we are truly grateful to all the staff. As I am pregnant, you kindly accommodated our meals in various ways, and everything was delicious. Personally, I’d give five stars just for the bath amenities being MIKIMOTO—brilliant! We were deeply moved by all your kindnesses and would love to visit again. After giving birth, I’d also like to use the café bar, the large public bath, and the spa as well. It was incredibly refreshing. Thank you very much!

    Anniversary

    We stayed again for our wedding anniversary after a long time. The Room brought back fond memories, and we were able to relax with our dog as well. Thank you for the wonderful celebratory dessert during the meal and for taking photos for us. Our dog got excited because my favorite strawberries were right in front of them, but thanks to your help in getting their attention toward the camera, we managed to take a photo with everyone looking at the camera. Unfortunately, the board displayed in the photo said “Birthday,” but since the photo frame we received at checkout said “Anniversary,” I think it’s fine. My family’s hay fever got worse, so next time we may avoid staying during pollen season. Thank you very much for your excellent service.

    Pet-friendly premium accommodation

    This was my second visit. The first time I stayed was during the COVID-19 pandemic, and I still remember how warmly everyone welcomed me—it was truly touching. This time as well, from check-in to meals and check-out, everything was handled wonderfully. I also enjoyed interacting with the other dogs around, making it a delightful stay. I will definitely visit again!

    The ultimate relaxation

    We stayed for the first time for two nights. From check-in to check-out, all the staff were very attentive, and we were deeply impressed by the cleanliness of the Facility, which did not give any hint of being pet-friendly. Above all, we created wonderful memories enjoying delicious meals together with our beloved dog. We have become members and look forward to staying here frequently in the future.

    Best of Regina

    We stayed here upon a recommendation from a friend who said this is the best among Reginas. While we haven’t visited all Regina accommodations yet, so it’s not a done decision (haha), my family thought Fuji was the best. Like other Regina hotels, the staff here were very professional yet warm and made us feel at ease with their excellent service. The food was undoubtedly delicious. Personally, I was amazed by the walking trails around the hotel—they exceeded my expectations! As others have mentioned, perhaps updating the water facilities would make it perfect. Overall satisfaction: 5 out of 5 stars. Thank you very much!

    First Trip with Your Beloved Dog

    For our first trip with our beloved dog, we were a bit worried about how it would go, but the Dog Run and thoughtful amenities like toilet sheets, wet wipes for paws, sanitizers, and towels in the Room made our stay very comfortable. Even while I was taking a bath, my dog could check on me through the glass door of the bathroom and seemed reassured. Being able to stay together without ever losing sight of each other gave me peace of mind as well. The amenities were excellent too—featuring POLA lotions and a Refa hair dryer. We enjoyed meals together at the restaurant where they also served dinner and breakfast for dogs. Since my dog got distracted by other dogs and barked a bit, I think I’d prefer a private room next time. The staff even remembered my dog's name and showed great care. I’m looking forward to staying at another Hotel in this chain again!

    Revenge Mount Fuji

    The room with an Onsen and the separated beds from the entrance were perfect for our family, especially since snoring can be an issue. We stayed on the second floor, and having rental carts available during meals was very helpful. Being able to dine together in the restaurant was also a delightful experience. This time, we could see Mt. Fuji, making it a wonderful memory.

    I stayed at the Property on January 30th.

    I stayed for two nights. It was nice to relax. It was very quiet, and the environment was great. As a Hotel focused on dogs, the dog run was spacious, very clean, and it is a great Hotel. The Room bath was also an Onsen, and it was nice to be able to take a bath anytime throughout the day. If I may say one thing, I would have liked a guest-exclusive large Onsen bath and sauna that could be used freely at any time. The meals were delicious, and I would like to visit again.

    Unfortunately

    I was surprised at how old the building was. It was disappointing that the terrace floor was worn and dirty. The wood on the bathroom walls was also worn, which was unfortunate. I think it would be better to properly paint the visible areas. The staff were all kind and the food was fairly good, so it was disappointing.

    First time use

    We used this Facility because our elderly dog, Jackie, is 17 years and 7 months old and we couldn't travel far. First, we were surprised when we entered the Room! It was the first time we had such a spacious living room. There were also two bedrooms, and the bath was an Onsen, allowing us to relax. The meals were seasonal and very delicious, and the staff's attentive care was delightful. If we have the opportunity, we would definitely like to use it again.
