    Hotel Surrounded by Nature

    I stayed for one night this time. The building exudes a full sense of a white resort, and the interior was very comfortable. It was a unique experience at the Hotel, with villas nestled in the forest and a terrace offering views of the sea through the garden. White peacocks appeared in the garden, which was truly impressive. The meals were exceptionally delicious, clearly showcasing attention to quality ingredients. I would love to visit again.

    A little more.

    Quiet and private, surrounded by nature with a great location. Peacocks were present, giving it a vibe similar to Kohama Island. While geckos are considered protectors of the home and not an issue, there were numerous insects, especially ants, both by the poolside and occasionally in the Room. It's understandable that insects are common in such environments, but measures like using aromatics could help reduce them—more effort in this area would be appreciated. The parking service felt incomplete; guests had to move their cars out of the parking lot when going out and park them back themselves upon return while keeping their own keys. If that's the case, self-parking from the start might be more practical. For breakfast on the second day, guests needed to call themselves to confirm timing. On the first day’s breakfast plate, bread was soggy due to vegetable dressing. On the second day’s bento-style set meal, even rice was served in small square compartments which made it difficult to eat—and no refills were available. Additionally, there was no explanation about any of the dishes. Considering this grade of Facility at this price point (¥XX), more attention should be given to these details for improvement.

    The meals were delicious and the stay was comfortable.

    |Limited to 3 Groups per Day| A Plan with Two Meals Featuring Ishigaki Cuisine Crafted from Diverse Ryukyu Ingredients and Chef's Inspiration. Dinner included two appetizers, pasta, fish, meat, and dessert—delicious and satisfying. When we chartered a boat with a meeting time before breakfast started, the staff kindly provided a takeaway breakfast instead. The takeaway breakfast was also delicious. On the second day, we had a Japanese-style breakfast along with welcome fruits served during the meal. The room had two bedrooms with two single beds connected together in each room. There were also two toilets for added convenience. The bathroom was spacious enough for about three people at once and included a shower booth as well. However, the shower switch was hard to see and use due to unclear markings, which was disappointing. Although it’s understandable given the location, small ants or insects occasionally appeared in the sink area which might bother some guests. A dehumidifier was installed in the bathroom and proved very useful for drying swimsuits; another dehumidifier was available in the living room as well. Unfortunately, the safe in our room wasn’t functioning properly which caused inconvenience. The pool was quite large—suitable even for four people at once—and always clean thanks to constant water circulation making it comfortable to use. There is a concrete path leading from the room to the pool; however, it felt inconveniently long so we often took shortcuts through grassy areas instead. At one end of the pool area is an observation deck offering views of Blue Cave—a lovely feature. Peacocks occasionally visited our garden but stopped coming after my daughter chased them around. Blue Cave itself is just a few minutes’ walk away; we visited multiple times during our stay. There’s an outdoor hotel shower along this path which adds convenience after returning from Blue Cave. Since this accommodation is located far from downtown areas taxis or other transportation are essential—but thankfully drivers arranged by staff were kind and helpful throughout our stay. WIFI connectivity could be improved—it worked fine when connected but would sometimes become unstable or unavailable entirely causing issues especially since mobile signals were weak due both distance (our unit being furthest) & concrete construction materials affecting reception speed significantly slower without reliable wifi access particularly noticeable inside back bedroom where signal didn’t reach altogether better network setup recommended enhance experience overall

    Deliberately addressing points of concern.

    The location, rooms, and cuisine are impeccable, and I believe future guests will undoubtedly give high ratings for these aspects. Dinner was delicious; however, the service felt a bit indifferent and underwhelming. While there were no mistakes in the service, each dish was simply announced with its name briefly without any further explanation. Although it’s true that detailed explanations might not be fully understood or remembered, providing no additional information beyond what’s written on the table set list felt lacking in warmth. Listening to staff share their knowledge about the dishes can be an enjoyable part of dining and often sparks engaging conversations. Whether it was due to a lack of knowledge or disinterest is unclear, but it left me feeling less "hosted," which was disappointing. As seen in some other Hotels as well, the shower knob in the bathroom is a simple cylindrical shape that becomes difficult to turn with soapy hands. Additionally, there is a slit-shaped window near the entrance hallway leading from the bedroom to the bathroom; after bedtime, light coming through this window turning on and off slightly disturbed my sleep.

    We were blessed with...

    We were blessed with great weather and enjoyed the pool, beach, and some relaxing time reading without a TV or clock. We absolutely loved spending our time like this. Special thanks to the staff who assisted us during check-in, the lady who recommended delicious restaurants, the person at check-out, and the one who kindly gave us papaya (apologies for not knowing your names). We immediately used the papaya to make Papaya Champuru. Thank you very much!
