    Suite Villa Bayfront

    Everything was perfect: a luxurious private space well worth the price, and attentive service with thoughtful care from the butler. I’ve stayed at several Shigira properties, but The Shigira was the best overall. That said, I have two suggestions: 1) If staying multiple nights, I’d like the in-room breakfast menu to change. 2) Since going to the beach is a given, I’d like a washing machine installed. That’s all. I plan to Reserve again next year, so I’d appreciate it if these points could be improved.

    It was our first stay at The Shigira, and everything was taken care of perfectly.

    We planned this trip to celebrate my father’s 77th birthday. I’ve visited Miyako about 10 times, but we decided to splurge on The Shigira, which I’d been curious about for years. It was only one night, but we were able to relax and enjoy some quality time together as parent and child. My father had a great time swimming in the Room’s private pool, taking the cart to the Onsen, and going shopping. For dinner, you can choose from a dedicated menu with various options; this time we chose shabu-shabu at the restaurant on the first floor of Mirage. It was delicious as well. On our way back, they also took us to a roadside station in town, and we were able to send mangoes as souvenirs to relatives. It’s not cheap, but the Room and service were well worth it. My father was truly delighted.\nThank you very much for everything during our stay.

    The butler is excellent.

    Stayed for two nights and three days from 2025/9/28 to 2025/9/30. The butler provided exceptional care, making the stay very comfortable. However, the meals were disappointing. The teppanyaki dinner on the first night did not suit me, leading to severe diarrhea from the next morning, forcing me to cancel the reservation for activities. On the second night, the Japanese meal had overly strong broth and was not enjoyable. There is room for improvement in this area. The Western and Japanese breakfast buffet was also inconvenient as it was far from our table, making it troublesome to get seconds. If these dining issues are addressed, I would consider returning in the future.

    It was a Hotel that ...

    It was a Hotel that satisfied us in every aspect. The hard aspects, including the Room and Facility, were excellent. Among them, Butler Mr. Washio's exceptional service stood out; from arranging meals to assisting with sightseeing, we had a stress-free stay. Additionally, the other staff members were friendly and made our experience pleasant. It has become one of the Hotels we would love to visit again.
