    An Accommodation filled with heartfelt hospitality

    This time, I knew my schedule early and made a Reservation using the early-bird discount, so I was able to stay at a very reasonable rate. On top of that, they even upgraded our Room—it was truly wonderful. The all-inclusive plan, the thoughtful touches throughout the property, and fun ideas like making your own parfait for dessert after meals were everywhere, and I found it impressive. If I had to mention a few points: the lounge had become more of a children’s play area and wasn’t very relaxing; although the floors are tatami-mat style, it was a bit hard to walk on and I wished there were slippers; and while the key is cute, I’m used to auto-lock doors so having to lock it manually felt like an extra step. Still, their hospitality was truly outstanding.

    What a shame...

    The hospitality was good, but I felt it was average for the price. I also had to wait at check-in. For breakfast, the rice cooked in a traditional pot was delicious, but the side dishes were cold and it wasn’t something I could call a very good breakfast. The parfait after breakfast wasn’t replenished either, so I couldn’t make one. It wasn’t a Hotel I would want to visit again.

    It was an outstanding Accommodation, full of thoughtful touches and great ideas.

    I have stayed at several all-inclusive accommodations before, but your Hotel truly impressed me with so many creative ideas. In particular, my grandchildren were thrilled—it was their first time making parfaits after breakfast. I had certain expectations based on Reviews and your website in advance, but it was even better than expected, and our whole family—three generations—had a very satisfying stay. All of the staff were wonderful, and we are especially grateful to the woman from Miyazaki who took care of us at dinner. I’m really glad we chose your Hotel! We will definitely come back again someday! This might be the first time I’ve given five stars across the board (lol).

    This was a repeat st...

    This was a repeat stay, but my first visit since the renovation. Both the Facility and the meals have been upgraded, and I’m very satisfied. It felt like there were more younger staff members, and they gave a refreshing impression. I don’t think the baths have changed much, but I noticed some unused space in the open-air bath area. I’d appreciate some ideas to make it more relaxing to spend time there. The lounge snacks and traditional sweets are nice, but I’m hoping for a wider selection of light meals.

    A Modern Ryokan Near Beppu Station

    Thank you for taking such great care of us at Hana Beppu. The food was delicious and thoughtfully prepared, and we had a very satisfying stay. All-inclusive—an irresistible phrase for anyone who loves drinks! You can enjoy complimentary drinks endlessly. Beppu is the best—thank you, Hana Beppu!

    It was a clean Room.

    A family-friendly accommodation where guests with young children can feel at ease

    As soon as we parked, the staff came out to greet us with “Welcome back.” After taking off our shoes at the entrance, we found the entire Accommodation covered in tatami, so we could relax and walk around barefoot. We enjoyed welcome sweets while looking out at the Japanese-style garden, then after a brief explanation of the facilities, we were shown to our Room. Since it was my husband’s and grandchild’s birthday month, they kindly upgraded our Room. It was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. We also enjoyed a wide variety of delicious dishes for both dinner and breakfast. After breakfast, there was a morning parfait that you can make however you like, so we had fun decorating it together with our grandchild. The lounge is a space where even small children can play. Our grandchild enjoyed juice and snacks, while the adults relaxed with beer and other drinks. There were also many kinds of snack foods available. Of course, the Onsen was excellent. The water quality was great and left our skin feeling smooth. Feeding the koi swimming in the garden pond and spending time around the Accommodation made it a wonderful trip for our grandchild as well. This is an Accommodation we would definitely love to visit again.

    Excellent.

    I think I travel quite a lot, but Hana Beppu was on a completely different level. I was truly impressed by the Room, the baths, and the thoughtful hospitality. Since it was a trip with just my daughter and me, it became an unforgettable memory. Not to discriminate in any way, but the staff were Japanese and provided attentive, considerate service. I was genuinely moved. I will definitely return.

    Although it is not stated clearly, not only the lounge but also drinks at dinner are basically included in the Accommodation rate, making it “all-inclusive.” However, since the lounge is open only until 21:00, if dinner starts at 19:00, it will be closed by the time you finish eating. I would appreciate it if they could extend it by one more hour. The lobby and other areas have just been renovated, so everything is new and spotless. The logo is cute as well, and there are many services that women would likely enjoy, such as sweets and aromatherapy. The food was great—breakfast rice cooked in a traditional pot was delicious. Being able to choose the miso for the miso soup was also a nice touch. On the other hand, there were too many condiment options for the hot pot at dinner and it was hard to decide; it might be better to narrow them down by about half... In a good way, they struck an excellent balance between efficiency and service.

    They kindly and attentively helped with sightseeing and all kinds of questions, making our stay very pleasant. The miso soup prepared for breakfast was wonderful.

    No repeat visits.

    A warm and welcoming accommodation. The staff, mostly young, were friendly and approachable. This is an ideal accommodation for those who enjoy a casual atmosphere. The room was nice as well. It would have been better if the room's bath was an onsen, but considering the cleaning effort required, it was acceptable. During our 2-night stay, we were asked about cleaning preferences around five times and had to request new towels about five times as well. Perhaps this is part of the casual nature of the accommodation... There were also some other issues that I won't detail here, but due to certain responses from the staff, I don't plan to revisit.

    Glad I stayed here!

    The service was excellent. I was worried about traveling with a small child, but the staff was very kind and attentive. The facility had tatami flooring throughout, including the bath area, which was wonderful. The tatami made it less slippery, showing consideration for elderly guests, babies, and young children. Amenities were standard. The food was delicious, and breakfast was a semi-buffet style with Japanese cuisine, which was also very tasty. I am truly satisfied. I initially thought it might be an accommodation geared towards women, but my husband was also very pleased. The service and thoughtfulness were truly outstanding. Thank you very much.

    Returning after 4 years!

    It was very comfortable to spend time without shoes inside the accommodation, and it was convenient to go to the onsen without wearing unfamiliar slippers. The meals were all carefully prepared and delicious. For breakfast, freshly cooked rice in a pot was served directly at the table, and I enjoyed hot rice with eggs so much that I had seconds. My favorite part was the shop. There were many original items from the accommodation, and local Oita tea served during meals was sold in beautiful packaging. I also repurchased a bamboo tray with Japanese paper that I bought four years ago after learning it can be washed with water. As for downsides... when I asked a staff member for advice about souvenir sweets because I couldn't decide, they said they hadn't tried them before, which was disappointing. The Japanese-Western style room was also comfortable, and we plan to revisit next year as a group of four with friends who couldn’t join this time.

    The room was spacious and comfortable. It was great to have access to YouTube and a massage chair. The meals were delicious, but I was surprised by the inclusion of loach. Having menu options would allow guests to choose according to their preferences, which would be nice. While I believe everything offered was high-quality, a more universally appealing menu might be better.

    The interior feature...

    The interior features bamboo motifs throughout, creating a very calming atmosphere. The staff were kind and pleasant. The bath was just as good as expected! We stayed for two nights, and the dinner menus were different each evening. The carefully prepared dishes and unique ingredients we had never tried before were absolutely delicious and satisfying.

    It was excellent.

    We stayed as a group of three, including my mother and son. Both dinner and breakfast were incredibly delicious. My son was so impressed with the grilled fish and meat at dinner that he even ordered additional fried chicken. The staff provided excellent service without being overly intrusive. The tatami flooring in the bath's washing area gave my elderly mother peace of mind, and she went to bathe multiple times. The room was clean, very quiet, and we were surprised to find out there were guests with children next door. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Beppu. Thank you for your hospitality!

    Relax and unwind at your own pace.

    Stayed at Beppu Onsen for the first time with a breakfast-included room assignment plan. The accommodation, named "Bamboo and Camellia," immediately reflects its name as soon as you step onto the premises, surrounded by these elements throughout your stay. The tatami flooring feels wonderful, and the tatami in the bathroom was a surprising touch. The soft atmosphere created by the staff enhances the tranquility of this accommodation. I had a very comfortable and relaxing stay. Thank you for your excellent hospitality!

    Extremely disappointing service

    Stayed for 5 nights starting February 20th. On the 24th, I had golf scheduled at Beppu Golf Club. Until then, I had been choosing breakfast at either 7 AM or 8 AM, but on the day of golf, I couldn't have breakfast as I needed to leave by 7 AM. Upon arriving at the golf course, it was closed due to snow (though it's questionable that there was no notification from the golf course about being closed, this is unrelated to the accommodation). On my way back to Hanabeppu after deciding to return due to this situation, I called and asked if breakfast could be arranged. However, since I had mentioned the night before that it wouldn't be necessary (out of consideration that it might go to waste if time didn't allow), they responded that they couldn't prepare it now. Accidents like weather are part of travel and no one's fault. Given that breakfast is buffet-style except for the main dish with rice and soup available, a response like "If you're okay with what's available now," or "It must have been tough; please take care on your way back," would have been thoughtful and easy for an accommodation provider. Having stayed here every year during this season for eight years in a row and staying five nights this time as well, such unkind service without any sense of hospitality was shocking. It's unfortunate because it's otherwise a problem-free accommodation within walking distance from my business destination.

    Everything was great.

    It was my first stay, and the service was very kind. The room was spacious and bright, and the bath was very pleasant. Both dinner and breakfast were truly delicious, and I would definitely like to visit again.

    This is my second repeat visit.

    I really liked my previous stay, so I made a reservation again this time. Overall, I still really like this property for its good atmosphere and service. However, I was disappointed to find some large dust balls and lint in the room I checked into, and there was a lot of mold on the stone parts under the individual washing areas in the large public bath. There were also various things stuck around the air conditioner in the changing room, making it quite dusty. I would like to make a reservation again next time, but I hope you pay attention to the cleaning. Thank you.

    There are no eggs for breakfast.

    We informed them it was our honeymoon and reserved a special room. At Hanabeppu, there was an original bath additive, but the bag was crumpled. If the previous guest crumpled it, it might be good to replace it. When you open the window, there are stairs of the next building, so I think you can't leave it open. In the large public bath, the door to the open-air bath was broken, and it made a loud bang every time, so it might be good to repair it. For breakfast, raw eggs are a specialty, and I thought it was for tasting with soy sauce for egg rice, so I went to get eggs, but since it was towards the end, where they were piled up like a mountain, it became a style where people who want eggs have to tell the staff. The staff are not standing in the kitchen, but it's a calling style. I want to spend the morning comfortably. The eggs they are promoting, I wanted a photo with them piled up like a mountain. The special room has steps from the elevator, making it difficult to move with a large suitcase. I felt it would be nice to have a baggage down service. I decided to do it later.

    This is a wonderful Stays.

    The room is clean and everything you need is in the right place, making it very comfortable. The large public bath is sufficiently spacious, both the indoor and outdoor baths. It may not be an Onsen, but the oxygen bath was especially refreshing and relieved the fatigue from the journey. However, above all, the meals are wonderful. Ingredients from Oita Prefecture are carefully prepared, and the presentation, taste, and portion size are excellent. The staff serving the meals are professional, providing clear explanations and impeccable service. I heard that they came from Oimachi to Oita Prefecture. It was a delightful dining experience. Thank you very much.

    Thank you for your hospitality.

    It was the third night of our 3-night, 4-day stay as a couple. We arrived early around 2:30, but we were immediately guided to our room. Although it was compact, the grade of the facility and the room, which was a special room, were excellent. The bath was also very nice, and we used it three times. For dinner, we enjoyed a course of fugu and a set of Bungo beef, along with beer, barley shochu, and red wine. No matter how many times I eat Oita's fugu, it's delicious. The customer service is also wonderful. I would like to stay again if I have the opportunity.

    I was able to relax.

    We stayed as a couple. Since it's a small inn, it was calm and we could relax without any hustle and bustle. The food might be insufficient for younger people, but for us, it was more than enough. Although the selection of alcohol was limited, they offered local sake, wine, and shochu, and I felt that the pairings were well thought out. The only disappointment was that the room with a bath we used was not a hot spring. It would have been perfect if it were a hot spring...
