    Disappointing compared to Arima and Beppu.

    I stayed for two nights in a Room with an Onsen and sauna. Meals included hairy crab. The Room was neither particularly good nor bad, but it was great that the Onsen was available 24 hours a day whenever I wanted. As for the meals, aside from the hairy crab there was nothing distinctive, and the sashimi in particular felt like something you’d get at a conveyor-belt sushi place. For breakfast, even a decent Business Hotel would be better. It might be better to choose No Meals Included and eat out at nearby facilities—there’s also a convenience store. The Onsen and the bear ranch were good.

    Eight of us stayed a...

    Eight of us stayed as a family in a standard Japanese-Western Room and a Japanese-Western Room with a private Onsen and sauna. The Rooms were very spacious, and even my parent with physical difficulties said the in-room Onsen and sauna were wonderful. As for the meals, I initially wondered if there would be enough, but the taste, quality, and portion size were all very satisfying. However, at the large public bath, some foreign guests were swimming in the tub and washing their faces there, and in the changing area they were using their smartphones pointed in our direction, which made me very uncomfortable (I don’t know whether they were taking photos). This is not the Hotel’s fault, but I would appreciate it if staff could make regular rounds to check and provide guidance. Even so, everyone in our family was very happy with our stay. We would definitely like to visit again.

    Satisfied with both the Onsen and the meals.

    Although we stayed on a night in the middle of a long holiday period, we were able to spend our time without too much crowding. While it does feel a bit dated, the Room has been renovated into a Japanese-Western style, and it was very convenient. Having meals served in the Room was relaxing and allowed us to enjoy them at our own pace. The Onsen also felt well-worn with age, but we were able to fully enjoy authentic sulfur springs, iron-rich springs, and saline springs.

    It’s hot.

    Although it was summer, the building was hot as described, so we borrowed a fan. It really helped.

    Not enough towels.

    Check-in was smooth. Dinner was served in the Room, but most dishes were brought out all at once on a tray at the beginning, so they got cold. The chawanmushi was lukewarm from the start, which was disappointing. We were told to notify the front desk when we finished eating, but while we were still eating dessert, staff came to clear what we had finished and left the dessert plates behind. No tea was served from start to finish; even though we were in the middle of our meal, we had to make tea ourselves using what was provided in the Room. Even if tea is available in the Room, I would have liked it to be served. To use the Onsen you have to bring towels from your Room, but there wasn’t a bath basket—only a small plastic bag that wasn’t big enough for a bath towel, which was inconvenient. There were no extra towels. Even at home I use a fresh towel each time, so having to use the same towel while traveling for three baths (evening, night, and morning) was unpleasant. Even though two of us stayed in the Room, there was only one towel provided—sharing one between two people is unacceptable. There wasn’t even a hand towel; I don’t understand how that makes sense. It might have been nice if someone had seen us off after check-out…

    This was an Accommodation I’d love to stay at again.

    The meals weren’t particularly lavish, but there was nothing bad about them and we enjoyed them. All the staff were pleasant, and the Room had been beautifully renovated and felt like new. The hot water was excellent, and we would definitely like to come again.

    Enjoy Noboribetsu again after a long time.

    This was our first time staying at this Hotel. My husband and I have visited Noboribetsu for the 10th time over the past 16 years. We enjoyed the Onsen, which offers four different types of baths. Our Room was on the 8th floor and had been renovated, so we were able to stay very comfortably. We were truly moved by the warm service from all of the staff. The meals were thoughtfully prepared—delicious and a delight to look at as well. We will visit again! Thank you very much.

    In-Room Scenic View Onsen and Sauna

    At check-in, we were told about complimentary beer. When we entered the Room, it smelled like Onsen, and there was a sauna right next to it—so we almost didn’t need the large public bath (lol). Still, we headed to the large public bath right away and tried everything, then went back to the in-room bath. It was deep enough and the temperature was just right—great. The sauna was also excellent, and we could do löyly (lol). The only disappointment was that there were no amenities (lol). The in-room dinner portion was just right—filling but not too much (lol). This is an Accommodation I’d definitely like to stay at again (lol).

    Very satisfied.

    This was my third stay, and as always, the food was delicious, and the bath was very satisfying. I would love to stay at this accommodation again at the beginning of next year.

    The free-flowing Onsen was wonderful.

    This time, I visited for the Onsen. The large public bath offered many types of Onsen, a waterfall bath, a small open-air bath, a jacuzzi, and a sauna. I also enjoyed the amazing Room with its own private free-flowing Onsen and sauna. It had been six months since my last trip to Noboribetsu, but probably about 10 years since I stayed at Yumoto. As the season when I start craving Onsen arrived, I happened to see that the property had been renovated and was able to fully enjoy the free-flowing Onsen and in-Room sauna. The meals, including dessert, felt somewhat pre-made, but since my main purpose was the Onsen, it was fine (laugh). Thank you as well for the member benefits—I will visit again.

    The Onsen was a natu...

    The Onsen was a natural hot spring and reasonably satisfying. Dinner was served in the room, and I found the quality and quantity to be good value for money. Unfortunately, the breakfast buffet was disappointing, especially with the lackluster selection of bread. As for the room, it was decent overall, but I believe more attention should be given to amenities. For example, face towels and items for women after bathing could use improvement. The provided room wear (samue) left much to be desired. It would be very convenient if towels and bath towels were made freely available in the changing area like at golf courses, rather than having to bring them from the room each time—especially at an Onsen Ryokan where guests often visit the baths multiple times.

    During my recent stay, the earthquake disrupted transportation routes, but I was allowed to stay in the lobby while you kindly helped me consider various travel options, enabling me to return home safely. The meals were very delicious, and the accommodation was kept clean and tidy, which made my stay very satisfying. Thank you so much!

    Overall, I am satisfied.

    I stayed with my wife's parents, and they seemed satisfied, which was great. Dinner is served in the Room, which is a nice feature, but I think there’s still room for improvement in terms of the meals. Additionally, the air conditioner in the guest Room directly blows onto the bed, making it feel cold and dry. The placement of the air conditioner is important.

    I requested in-room dining, and the Room was spacious with a large dining table, making it very comfortable. The meals were appropriately portioned and delicious, especially suitable for elderly guests.

    Enjoy the luxury of a pure Onsen with free-flowing hot spring water.

    You can enjoy four types of luxurious Onsen with natural flowing hot spring water, which was truly satisfying. The seafood rice bowl and wakame noodles (which I tried for the first time) served at breakfast were absolutely delicious. Local specialties like additive-free natto were also offered. I would love to stay here again.

    It became the best memory.

    We used a special room with four beds and in-room dining for a farewell party for a colleague's retirement with four women from the workplace. The room was very spacious, allowing us to enjoy a luxurious stay. However, it felt a bit cold at night. The meals were excellent, and everything was so delicious that we couldn't finish it all. The bath was also spacious, and we could enjoy both types of baths as they alternated between men and women. By chance, there was an Onsen event, and we were able to see fireworks that exceeded our expectations. We were able to create the best memories. Thank you very much.

    The property offers good value for the price.

    Based on reviews, I chose this hotel with few low ratings, and found that the service, food, and bath were all satisfactory and worth the price. At check-in, we were informed of membership benefits (one free drink each at dinner/free late check-out) that we hadn't noticed, leaving a good impression of their thoroughness. It added to the sense of value! The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Dinner was served all at once at the beginning, allowing us to enjoy a leisurely meal. There is a serving room on the same floor, so they come quickly when needed via the intercom. The food was delicious and the service was very courteous. The onsen had multiple types of spring quality, and even my husband, who usually isn't interested in onsens, seemed to enjoy it with his preferred spring quality. Breakfast had a slightly limited variety, but everything was tasty, and considering the luxurious dinner and the current high cost of living, I have no complaints. Overall, I was very satisfied.

    Very good Stays

    The meal we had in the Room was very delicious. It might be an old building, but it has been skillfully renovated, making it clean and comfortable. The bath features a traditional basket changing area, but there is a separate place to store valuables for those who need it, which is reassuring. There are various types of bathtubs to enjoy. The open-air bath was very pleasant. Notably, the two staff members who prepared the futons did so in such a well-coordinated manner that it was truly impressive. I would like to visit again if I have the opportunity.
