    It was excellent.

    An oceanfront location right in front of the sea, delicious meals, and a private open-air bath in the Room made our stay extremely satisfying. This Hotel is highly recommended for trips with your dog.

    The service was attentive and made my stay very comfortable.

    The staff were polite and made us feel comfortable. Dinner was elaborate, but the seasoning was disappointing. Having a separate washbasin area would be convenient, as we would use it frequently when cleaning up after our dog’s toilet.

    The meal was delicious!

    I was interested in this Hotel because of its wonderful name. It truly lived up to its name. Both breakfast and dinner were very delicious. Each dish was carefully prepared, with plenty of seasonal vegetables, and the texture and flavors were exquisite. The staff were pleasant, the bath had a charming atmosphere, and the sunset was beautiful. The only disappointment was that another guest was smoking on the balcony.

    A Highly Satisfying Accommodation

    We stayed with two senior sisters and our dog. Both the in-room open-air bath and the private open-air bath were clean and wonderful. Above all, we were very satisfied with the meals—the vegetables were fresh, and the seafood was delicious. The amenities were plentiful, and it was our first time having unlimited towels. Yukata were available at the front desk, but the loungewear and bathrobe in the Room were more than enough. For this price, we felt it reflects tremendous effort on the part of the company. The staff were foreigners, but the front desk staff spoke fluent Japanese that was easy to understand, and everyone else’s smiles were soothing as well. Over the past 20 years or so, we have stayed at more than a dozen dog-friendly Accommodations, and this one is in our top three. It’s an Accommodation we would definitely like to visit again.

    The meals were excellent.

    We stayed with our dog. The Facility felt a bit old, but it was clean, well maintained, and well stocked with amenities, so we were comfortable. Not all of the staff were Japanese, but their service was polite and excellent. Both the in-Room Onsen and the private bath were very relaxing with an ocean view. Best of all was the food. While many Accommodations these days offer buffets, having a full-course meal served in the Room was outstanding and absolutely delicious. Breakfast was also Western-style, which we enjoyed. If I could make one request, there was only one trash bin in the Room, which was inconvenient—I'd like an additional one placed near the vanity.

    I was able to stay at an exceptionally low price at just the right time, and overall I was satisfied. What was good: - The food was very delicious, and the portions were more than enough. - The sea was right in front across the road, and the sunset and starry sky were beautiful. - All of the staff were polite and left a great impression. What was disappointing: - In a Room where guests can stay with dogs, a long-pile rug is not acceptable. For hygiene reasons, it should definitely be removed. - There were no amenities such as toner or lotion.

    An Accommodation where you can enjoy a relaxing, unhurried, and comfortable stay

    With an unbeatable location right in front of Koibito Misaki, we were able to relax to our heart’s content while watching a beautiful sunset. The Accommodation’s greatest appeal is undoubtedly the spectacular view. At dusk, we enjoyed a breathtaking sunset, and this scenery made our stay even more special. Dinner was served as a casual French course, and it was wonderful to be able to enjoy it leisurely in our Room. Savoring delicious dishes while taking in the view in a private setting felt truly luxurious. The Eggs Benedict at breakfast was incredibly delicious! Many of the staff members were young, but everyone worked very hard, and their friendly, attentive service left a great impression. Their warm hospitality made the entire stay comfortable and pleasant. There were two private baths available for exclusive use, which was especially appealing because each offered a different atmosphere and view from the bath in our Room. Towels and amenities were fully provided, so it was very convenient to use them without bringing anything along. A bath basket was also prepared, showing thoughtful attention to detail. Personally, I was also happy that bathrobes were provided. With stunning views, gourmet dining enjoyed at leisure in your Room, and heartfelt hospitality from the staff all coming together, this is an extremely appealing Accommodation. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind and take it easy. It also seems that dogs are allowed to stay in the same Room with you, so I would strongly recommend it for traveling with your dog as well.

    Please pack light.

    This was our first stay here because we were traveling with our dog. Our Room was on the 3rd floor, and there is no elevator, so we had to climb the indoor stairs to reach it. We had a lot of luggage, so getting to the Room felt a bit tough. The Room had two beds, one height-adjustable table, two single sofas, and a vanity table. There was also an open-air bath on the balcony with a full ocean view, but the balcony wall is a little low, so some caution is needed. In addition to the open-air bath, there was also an in-room unit bath—an old-style unit bath. Dinner was served in the Room—and it was French cuisine! They brought it out little by little each time, and our dog barked every time (lol). Aside from the stairs up to the 3rd floor, I think it’s a good option for staying with a dog.

    Recommended for those seeking tranquility

    We stayed as a couple and were able to forget our busy schedules and enjoy a carefree day. The private open-air bath with an ocean view and in-room dining allowed us to relax without worrying about others, which was very calming. We would love to visit again as a treat for ourselves.

    A Short Trip with Your Beloved Dog

    Thank you for your hospitality. It was my first time staying at a pet-friendly accommodation, but thanks to the thoughtful and attentive care of the staff, I had an enjoyable stay. The private bath in the room was spacious and very pleasant. I would love to visit again if I have the chance.

    Disappointing

    The meal service was unusually fast. The first course included a sashimi platter, carrot soup, and bread – an odd combination. The Room appeared spacious but felt cramped and oppressive. We stayed as a group of three, but there were only two beds. After dinner, we expected staff to prepare the futon for us, but no one asked or assisted; we had to do it ourselves. There was a hair in the breakfast meal. The in-room coffee maker still had leftover water from the previous guest – very unhygienic. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.

    Relax with your pet

    We stayed with my wife and our dog. The renovated interior was very clean, and the private open-air bath in the room offered a stunning view of the ocean, providing a sense of openness. Watching the sunset was a luxurious experience. The cleanliness was impeccable! The meals were elaborate and delicately prepared. Pet amenities and supplies were well-equipped, and since the room we stayed in did not have wooden flooring, it seemed less stressful for our dog. Many of the staff members were from overseas, but their attentiveness was truly impressive. We were extremely satisfied and had a wonderful holiday!

    I agree with other comments. The hospitality and service are excellent. The view from the balcony is stunning. The price is reasonable. If you are looking for a pet-friendly Hotel, this could be a great option. Please note there is no elevator.

    Husband's Birthday Celebration

    It was an extremely hot day, and upon arriving at the Hotel and entering the reception area, I was surprised to find that the air conditioning was not in use, making it quite warm. Although we stayed for only one night, the view of the ocean right in front of us was enjoyable, and with a private open-air bath on the balcony, it might be ideal for those seeking privacy. Dinner was entirely Western-style with generous portions, which may appeal to younger guests. However, for older individuals like us who prefer lighter Japanese cuisine that's easier on the stomach, it might not be suitable—we ended up leaving quite a bit of food uneaten. There were two open-air baths available; however, they were always occupied whenever we tried to use them. Despite multiple attempts throughout our stay, we unfortunately couldn't get a chance to enjoy them. We didn't encounter any other Japanese guests during our visit but appreciated that everyone worked hard to provide good service without any issues. Thank you for your hospitality!

    The bath and meals were completely satisfying.

    The open-air bath and meals were absolutely satisfying. We usually don't choose a Hotel with in-room dinner and breakfast during our trips, but we selected this one to spend a relaxing time with my husband and our dog, Jack (a Jack Russell Terrier). The meals were course-style, and everything from start to finish was incredibly delicious!! I wish I could have talked to the chef. For breakfast, I chose Eggs Benedict. The staff serving the course meal was very attentive. Even our Jack seemed happy! My husband is quite tall, but he was able to comfortably soak in the open-air bath's tub and was very satisfied! We could relax while soaking leisurely, and I'm glad we chose this Hotel! It exceeded our expectations. I would love to stay here again when we visit Izu next time!

    Everything is mediocre.

    Stayed with my husband and young child. Most of the staff were foreigners, but their service was good. When we entered the room and tried to wash our hands, we couldn't find any hand soap or bar soap... After contacting the front desk, they seemed flustered and told us to wait twice. It took an hour for them to bring it, so they probably went out to buy it. Although it was mentioned that we could choose dinner and breakfast times, we were assigned a time instead. Later, a staff member came by asking us to change the time. Trying to shake off the frustration, we decided to use the private open-air bath in our room—only to find two rather large dead insects that had clearly been there for some time. My daughter was scared. We decided to look forward to dinner instead. Even though I had informed them about having a small child with us beforehand, there were no high chairs or children's tableware provided as expected. The food served was lukewarm at best and tasted mediocre overall; however, my daughter enjoyed eating penne pasta which saved part of our experience. The next day during checkout: despite having already paid by card in advance—they asked how I would like settle payment again! After explaining this fact patiently while waiting yet again—they confirmed eventually without apology saying "It seems settled already; we'll just collect Hot Spring Tax." At that point—I couldn’t hold back anymore!

    Used with an IKYU di...

    Used with an IKYU discount of 3,004 yen, totaling 72,176 yen for two people... This was the most disappointing experience among all the reservations I’ve made on IKYU. The room was far from what the photos depicted—dirty and felt unhygienic. The meals were lukewarm and hard. Although it was a pet-friendly room, the pet supplies were not properly prepared, and the room had poor soundproofing like a pension where everything could be heard clearly. However, the sunset view from the room was beautiful, and while all staff members were foreign nationals, their earnest efforts were endearing. Other than that, it didn’t feel worth the price paid.

    The Hotel was clean ...

    The Hotel was clean and well-maintained. Although there were no Japanese staff, making communication a bit challenging at times, the staff responded very politely and attentively. The meals were French cuisine, all delicious, with portions that seemed small but were actually quite filling. We were fortunate to have good weather and enjoyed a stunning sunset. However, please note that the open-air bath can be visible from outside if not careful, so women should take extra caution.

    I stayed here once 7...

    I stayed here once 7 or 8 years ago and had a good impression, so I revisited. The property has become somewhat old in places, which is somewhat unavoidable... This time, perhaps due to the timing, the accommodation fee was cheap, and considering the price, I thought it was "very good." If possible, I would like at least one more trash can in the room, and since it is tatami-matted, I preferred not having a chair and table. The room's bath and the private bath were good, and the meals were sufficient. It was a fairly decent stay.

    Unfortunately

    This was my third time, but it was a bit disappointing that not all the staff were Japanese and the Room and bath were a bit outdated. The staff were well-trained and polite, but having Japanese staff would provide more reassurance. It might be a good idea to consider a renovation.

    The moment we arrived, we were greeted by a breathtaking view of the vast ocean. The room was spacious enough, and the bath had Onsen water flowing continuously, offering an incredibly beautiful view! The food was the best part. Each dish was truly delicious, and as a couple, we were so impressed that we wanted to thank the chef. We will definitely visit again. It was truly the best!
