    We had a relaxing stay.

    We stayed here as a couple for our wedding anniversary. It seemed we had the place to ourselves by chance, so we were able to truly relax. Every dish was carefully prepared, and everything was a flavor we had never tried before—absolutely delicious. The owners were also very kind, and we had a wonderful time. We would love to come back and stay again at a leisurely pace.

    A luxurious experience perfect for rewarding yourself this year.

    This was my second stay at "Akiba Nankyu-an" following my visit in June, and I was fortunate enough to enjoy an exclusive stay this time, making it an even more luxurious experience. As a travel enthusiast, I have stayed at various accommodations before, but this one is truly "number one and only one" for me. The cuisine, tableware, furnishings, hospitality, and the hostess—all are refined and beautiful. Yet the atmosphere remains unpretentious and relaxing—a serene retreat for adults. Honestly, it's such a treasure of an accommodation that I almost want to keep it as my own little secret. I hope to visit "Akiba Nankyu-an" again during cherry blossom season next time. And someday, I wish to stay here with my daughters so they can experience the true essence of excellence. I look forward to meeting the wonderful hostess again soon. Thank you for your unforgettable hospitality.

    I had a relaxing time!

    The accommodation has excellent reviews, but I had never come across it in previous searches. Perhaps a cancellation occurred, and there was availability, so I eagerly made a reservation. This is an accommodation where you can feel the owner's meticulous attention to detail and dedication. The dishes served were not only delicious but also beautifully presented in lovely tableware. However, there were some challenges: cars cannot be parked directly at the entrance, requiring guests to pull their luggage uphill; the entrance is not equipped with a ramp; and luggage must be carried up stairs manually. Additionally, the bedroom and Japanese-style room are slightly elevated, and during the night when going to the restroom from the bedroom, I tripped over an unnoticed step on the dark floor. Please take care if you plan to stay here. Other than that, it was a wonderful experience where I could relax and enjoy an exceptional time.

    It was a wonderful a...

    It was a wonderful accommodation. For our first stay, we stayed in the "Mayu" room, enjoyed the bath "Seionro," and dined at "Ryukin." We were deeply impressed by the detailed and tasteful hospitality, allowing us to spend a very relaxing time. The table coordination for the meals was excellent, and every dish with its delicate yet flavorful seasoning was absolutely delicious for both dinner and breakfast. This accommodation left a lasting impression with its owner's thoughtful touches. We would love to visit again.

    I enjoyed a peaceful and quiet moment.

    Despite the bustling inbound tourism everywhere recently, this place was very quiet, allowing for a calm and relaxing time. The meals were incredibly delicious, and I might have eaten a bit too much because they were so enjoyable. It was an accommodation I would love to visit again.

    Highly satisfied.

    Quiet and relaxing atmosphere with a satisfying Room, bath, meals, and hospitality. The meals were particularly satisfying in terms of presentation (dishes, plating), taste, and quantity. However, it was disappointing that there were few amenities for men (hair tonic, liquid products, shaving foam, etc.). While there were plenty of face towels available, two bath towels felt insufficient. I would like to visit again during a different season. Thank you very much!

    Wonderful Accommodation

    This was my first time staying at this accommodation despite living in the same prefecture. It is a very calm and sophisticated adult-oriented accommodation. The meals, both breakfast and dinner, are said to be entirely handmade, featuring healthy ingredients that I thoroughly enjoyed.

    Both my parents and I were able to relax.

    We stayed for two days during a long weekend with my parents. The staff were very considerate of my mother, who has difficulty walking, making it a truly satisfying trip. It felt like staying at a private villa, and we had a relaxing time! If we have the chance, we would love to visit again. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

    It was a wonderful stay.

    The room and accommodation were very clean and thoughtfully designed. The Binchotan charcoal bath was also very relaxing. The meals, both dinner and breakfast, were absolutely wonderful, with each dish carefully seasoned and incredibly delicious. The warm and attentive service allowed us to enjoy a relaxing and lovely day. I would love to visit again!

    A meticulously designed and delightful accommodation

    The jet-black approach to the entrance exudes an extraordinary atmosphere, leaving a lasting impression. The sliding door is a unique shade of red, unlike anything I've seen before—truly remarkable. The design, architecture, and materials used are captivating and exciting at every turn. The meals were delicious, featuring fresh ingredients paired with unexpected spices that brought delightful surprises. The tableware and presentation were beautifully coordinated—a feast for the eyes as well as the palate. As an Onsen enthusiast, I didn't have high expectations for the bath, but the Binchotan charcoal bath was incredibly relaxing! The high ceilings added a sense of openness too. I look forward to visiting again in another season!

    Stylish Accommodation!!

    It has been a while since we encountered such a stylish and wonderful accommodation. During our stay, everything including the facility, cuisine, and hospitality perfectly suited us. There aren't many accommodations that make you feel like you don't want to leave and wish to return immediately as part of the value of travel. This time, we truly felt that way.     Stay at Akihabara Nanikyuan

    I stayed for one night with a friend in May. The exterior of the accommodation was stunning, making it feel like we had entered another world. The room and bath were thoughtfully designed, impeccably clean, and exuded a sense of freshness. There are two rooms, each with unique designs, and I heard that the building has even won architectural awards. Seasonal flowers were subtly arranged in the room, and the carefully selected furnishings reflected the owner's excellent aesthetic sense. The meals we had been looking forward to were exceptional. Seasonal fish and locally sourced vegetables were used abundantly, with each dish meticulously prepared to perfection. Although I initially wondered if I could eat so much food, as promised by the owner who aims for health-conscious cuisine, my friend and I finished everything effortlessly. The tableware was also chosen to complement each dish beautifully. Both dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious. The hospitality from the owner and staff was outstanding, allowing us to enjoy our stay as if we were at a private villa. I would love to visit again during another season!

    Wakayama Prefecture, recently gaining attention. While searching for an accommodation that suits personal preferences in Shirahama, I came across this place and was intrigued by the interior photos, prompting a slightly longer trip to visit. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the renowned hostess. The moment you step into the accommodation, you're overwhelmed by its stunning interior design. We were fortunate to have exclusive use of the property during our stay, allowing us to fully appreciate its exquisite details. Every piece of wood used in the construction reflects meticulous care and thoughtfulness. The subtle aroma throughout evokes a feeling as if you've wandered into a refreshing forest. With only two rooms available, this luxurious concept is truly unique. We chose "Tsurugi" (弦) as our room for this stay—a space enveloped in bamboo and traditional Japanese paper that exudes an indescribable sense of luxury upon entry. The room features "Tsukimi Shoji," sliding screens designed for moon viewing instead of snow viewing ("Yukimi Shoji"), subtly hinting at nighttime delights ahead. It was a pleasant surprise to discover such a tranquil and luxurious accommodation in Wakayama. Heading next to the large communal bath area, we found ourselves surrounded by fragrant mist—an experience far beyond ordinary bathing that left us feeling utterly refreshed. Although not an Onsen hot spring bath, it felt like the perfect choice for conserving energy before exploring Wakayama further the next day. Soon after came dinner time—a feast crafted without chemical seasonings using local ingredients from Wakayama Prefecture that left us astounded with every bite! Not only was each dish exceptional; even their presentation on carefully selected tableware elevated dining into an accessible form of art itself. Highlights included what might be considered seasonal finales: fugu sashimi (blowfish), bonito with scallion sauce—and innovative takes like sesame tofu served fritter-style—all showcasing creative freedom while celebrating local ingredients' charm through diverse dishes bursting with flavor! The standout dish? A signature clay pot rice featuring Ise lobster alongside fresh seafood—akin perhaps best described as Japanese-style paella—it captured perfectly what it feels like savoring Wakayama’s ocean bounty within one unforgettable plateful! As night deepened post-meal under clear skies visible through Tsukimi Shoji windows free from city lights’ interference—the breathtaking brilliance displayed above starkly contrasted typical urban views offering rare stargazing opportunities unmatched elsewhere amidst developed resort areas alike… This thoughtfully designed accommodation embodies both architectural spirit & heartfelt hospitality led passionately by its hostess delivering unparalleled experiences rediscovering hidden gems within beautiful regions such as Wakayama itself leaving lasting impressions longing return visits someday soon!

    I was able to relax!

    It was one of the Stays I had wanted to visit for a long time, and I was finally able to stay. The Room and the Property's Facility were very well thought out and had a sense of cleanliness, so I was able to spend my time comfortably. The Room was also spacious. The meals were carefully and thoughtfully prepared, and the taste was very delicious. Although it was not a Plan with the famous paella, I would love to try it next time. I was able to spend my time very leisurely. Thank you very much.

    The cuisine is excellent.

    Thank you for your hospitality. It was a bit difficult to find as it is located within a residential area. The Facility and the furnishings used created a calm and pleasant atmosphere, allowing for a relaxing stay. The meals were served in beautiful dishes, with each dish carefully prepared, allowing us to enjoy and savor each one. However, regarding the bath, it was neither good nor bad.     The key points for us when choosing a stay are being able to take a bath late at night or early in the morning and enjoying delicious food! In addition to these, this property has wonderful rooms, carefully selected amenities, and clothes, towels, and sheets with a pleasant fragrance and texture, making our stay truly comfortable.     A gem of a time

    I stayed here before and was moved by the warm hospitality, so I decided to return after a long time. I was truly touched that they remembered me even after such a long time. Once again, the dishes made with local ingredients were incredibly delicious and beautifully presented, and I thoroughly enjoyed them from the bottom of my heart. From the room, I could watch the sunset over the Pacific Ocean, and the bath was available for private use, making every moment spent here a precious time. I was delighted by the thoughtful gesture of having coffee beans ground by the staff, ready for me to drip and enjoy. It was delicious. I also made use of the Bluetooth speaker. I definitely want to stay here again.
