    A bit disappointing.

    I stayed at this Accommodation during Golden Week. At check-in, I was told, “Check-out is at 11:00,” but my printed Check Reservation document said 12:00. When I pointed this out, I was told, “Then 12:00 is fine.” I was told the time changed starting in May, but I had made my Reservation early, it was stated in writing, and there was no advance notice… (and I was told the same thing again the next morning). Also, even though I am a Diamond member, I did not receive the Tsuyuhikari tea bag souvenir—was that related?

    It was a wonderful stay.

    This ocean-view Hotel has two golf courses. Highlights include a clean, spacious sauna and a large, refreshingly cold plunge pool. I stayed for two nights and fully enjoyed the sauna on both days. The staff were warm and kind, which made for a wonderful Golden Week holiday. Thank you very much.

    The Hotel staff were...

    The Hotel staff were extremely courteous, and we had a very pleasant stay. We visited on a family trip and stayed overnight without playing golf, but we were able to relax and take our time. The Facility felt well maintained. There was also a small putting course, which we enjoyed.

    The Facility is good.

    I have stayed several times because I love the Suite Room. The Room, Facility, and bath are all comfortable, but since the golf clubhouse is the main focus, I would like to see more emphasis on Hotel hospitality and service.

    Please clean.

    Promoted as luxurious, the initial impression from the exterior quickly changed upon entering the room. The smell in the guestroom, dirt in the corners of the toilet, stains on bathroom tiles, black mold-like marks on chairs in the public bath area, and unremovable grime on shampoo and body soap dispensers were disappointing. Perhaps cleaning could be approached with a mindset of being a guest yourself? Even older facilities can provide a comfortable stay if properly cleaned. Unfortunately, this was not what I had hoped for during my much-anticipated trip...

    Has the quality of the French restaurant declined?

    In the summer of 2022, we stayed at this Hotel for two nights with our children. On the first night, we had French cuisine, and on the second night, Japanese cuisine. The French meal was incredibly delicious, with a relaxing atmosphere and excellent service, which made us want to visit again. This time, we returned. We played at a nearby facility called "Pururu" until 5:00 PM before moving to the Hotel for check-in. After taking a bath, we had dinner at the French restaurant starting at 7:30 PM. Although it was during a three-day weekend, we were the only ones in the restaurant at that time. Since we were with children, it was nice to enjoy our meal without worrying about others around us. The children's menu had generous portions that they couldn't finish and included all their favorite dishes, which made them very happy. For adults, however, it felt like there was a slight decline in quality compared to 2022. I also wished once again that there could be an outdoor view from the women's bath area. The view from our ocean-side Room remained as stunning as ever. The building is old but well-maintained and clean. The grand staircase and chandelier in the entrance are truly luxurious and impressive.

    Tenryu is delicious!

    This was my first time staying at Hamaoka Course & Hotel. The Hotel felt a bit old, and there was a slight smell in the Room. The bath had hot water, which was very relaxing. Above all, the Japanese cuisine at "Tenryu" for dinner was absolutely delicious. Using local ingredients made it very satisfying—thank you to the head chef! It was also my husband's birthday, making it a memorable experience. We played at the Ogasa Course; carts were allowed on the course, and although some middle holes were long, we enjoyed playing very much. I would love to visit again!

    The facility has a sense of age but is clean and comfortable.

    The Facility shows signs of age both in shared areas and rooms. While not everything is perfectly maintained, and some areas require repairs, there are touches of neatness and attention to detail, possibly due to the attached golf course. The rooms are moderately clean with high ceilings that provide a comfortable atmosphere. Breakfast was simple yet very delicious, with tasty bread, omelets, and bacon. Overall, it was a pleasant stay. As an additional note, the area around the Hotel is not very lively; arriving at night meant driving cautiously through darkness, which felt a bit unsettling.

    Quiet and relaxing.

    Stayed the night before golfing. Opted for a one-night stay with two meals, choosing Western cuisine. The staff were polite, and the meals were well-prepared despite being reasonably priced. The bath and sauna were excellent. It seems to be managed by the golf course, creating a relaxed atmosphere perfect for those looking to unwind. Would love to visit again!

    Luxurious Entrance

    I stayed here the night before a golf game. The luxurious chandelier at the entrance was stunning. The staff's warm smiles and friendly service left a great impression! Dinner was a French course, and both the food and wine were absolutely delicious. The sommelier listened to my preferences and suggested wines with clear explanations that matched perfectly. Although the next day's golf game was challenging due to strong winds, playing with Mount Fuji in view made it an unforgettable experience. Thank you very much!
