    We had another comfortable stay this year.

    Once again, I had a very comfortable stay at the Hotel this year. I have heard that other thalasso facilities in Japan have been forced to close because they are difficult to maintain. I imagine maintenance is challenging, but I truly hope you will keep it going, and I am cheering you on. The lounge staff also seemed quite young this time, but they were very attentive, and I was able to relax comfortably. Thank you very much. I will visit again next year. The following is additional and may be deleted when posting. In order not to make my wife uncomfortable, I did not mention this at all during our stay; however, I must state that the unilateral cancellation of my Reservation due to the termination of your partnership with Hilton—and the subsequent responses from both Hilton and Terrace Hotel—were completely unacceptable, irresponsible, and unreasonable. When I contacted you for an explanation, I was told it was “Hilton’s fault,” which showed no sense of accountability. During this stay as well—at check-in and elsewhere—there was no apology whatsoever; only when I called to place an in-room dining order did I receive a brief apology as an afterthought along with an offer of a late checkout that I neither requested nor wanted. Because my wife (who knew nothing about the situation) was in the room, I accepted the offer and brushed it off lightly; but my feelings had long moved beyond anger—I was simply appalled. It does not matter to me whether Hilton or Terrace is at fault. My Reservation was made with Terrace Hotel because it is a Hotel I trust. That Reservation was forcibly canceled unilaterally, and as a result an expensive financial loss was imposed on me without consent. This may not have become widely known because there were likely only a small number of affected guests; however, under Japan’s Ryokan Business Act (Hotel Business Act), this could reasonably be considered grounds for compensation for damages. Please recognize how serious this failure was. Precisely because this is a Hotel I love so much, I expect sincere reflection and improvement.

    A guest-focused approach is shared by every staff member. The atmosphere was comfortable and relaxing. Another highlight is the thalasso pool, which can be enjoyed year-round.

    Ideal Accommodation

    Although I have stayed at many Hotels and Ryokans in Japan and abroad, there are surprisingly few Hotels that I can look back on later and truly feel were a great stay. This time, however, even after more than a month, the wonderful afterglow of the trip still remains. The Room, restaurant, and pool were all impeccably maintained, with thoughtful attention evident everywhere—nothing felt lacking or excessive. A major reason was also the excellent hospitality from the female staff member who welcomed us from check-in. I was also happy that there were no guests being loud or disruptive, and I am truly grateful to have found a Hotel I can return to with a smile and say, “I’m home!”

    An Annual Birthday Trip

    In recent years, it has become a tradition for me to spend my birthday at this Hotel. This stay was wonderful as well. I enjoyed being active in the concept-themed thalasso pool, relaxing in the lounge, and taking an evening stroll to The Busena Terrace. I believe this is a one-of-a-kind Hotel that offers an Accommodation experience completely different from any other. I will be back—thank you for your hospitality.

    A High-End Resort Experience

    While the spacious Busena Terrace is lively with families, The Terrace Club feels quieter and more relaxed, with many older guests. The Room was bright and spacious with a great view—very comfortable. I love views from higher floors, so I was a little disappointed at first when I learned it was on the 4th floor. However, the staff member who showed me to the Room said, “We think the color of the sea looks most beautiful from this floor,” and they were absolutely right. The water near the beach was a stunning emerald green that gradually turned into deep blue in the distance. From this Room, that emerald green fills your entire view! I also really enjoyed the club lounge. The selection wasn’t large, but everything was delicious. Both drinks and food were healthy and beautifully presented. It was also fun being able to use both breakfast options—the buffet at Busena Terrace as well as here. Going over to Busena Terrace was very convenient too; they brought out a cart right away whenever needed. All of the staff were kind and wonderful. This is my fault for not checking in advance, but when I went to one of the resort restaurants (Chinese), it happened to be closed that day, so I ended up eating cup noodles in my Room. I’d like to try again next time!

    Such a wonderful vacation!

    All the staff were always smiling, and their kind, attentive hospitality made our stay truly enjoyable. The view from the infinity pool was breathtaking—so much so that it didn’t feel like we were in Japan. The thalasso pool has shade, providing relief even under the midsummer sun. The ocean view, along with the soothing sound of waves from the terrace, made our stay even more satisfying. I would recommend this upscale adults-only resort to friends!

    Okinawa Wellness Getaway in Spring

    I’ve been to Okinawa many times for both leisure and work, and my favorite time of year is April, before Golden Week. You can really enjoy the fresh early-summer vibe. This time, to refresh both mind and body at the start of the new fiscal year, I chose this Hotel again, which I had stayed at before. It was just a one-night weekend trip, but I was able to use the thalasso pool even after check-out, so I had plenty of time to experience the Facility. I think it’s the perfect Hotel for anyone looking for a quiet resort where you can truly unwind and recharge. I’ll definitely stay again.

    Thalasso Pool No. 14

    On my fourth stay, I enjoyed my first Multiple Night Stay of three nights. Although the weather wasn’t great as it was before the end of the rainy season, I was able to fully enjoy Hotel life without leaving the Busena grounds even once. I especially made full use of the thalasso pool and felt refreshed both physically and mentally. During that time, Instructor O gave me some tips, and in Pool No. 14 I experienced relaxing completely and floating effortlessly. Thanks to the buoyancy of deep ocean water, for the first time in my life I felt what it’s like to “float on water without doing anything.” The teppanyaki at Ryutan and the drainage massage at the spa were also wonderful, but this experience left the strongest impression on me this time.

    I keep coming back.

    This Hotel was likely one of the earlier properties in Japan to join SLH. Although it is in the same Busena area, it has a very different atmosphere from The Busena Terrace—and I keep coming back here. With wellness as its theme, staying here genuinely helps me feel rebalanced. The staff’s understated hospitality also lets me relax and be myself. The weather was poor throughout this stay, but it was so satisfying that I almost forgot about it. You can always come back for better weather, but what you experience during a stay can only be felt with the particular staff and atmosphere of that moment. The other guests also had a mature vibe and seemed to understand the value of spending time here. Now I’m already thinking about when to come next.

    High-quality and comfortable

    I visit without making plans, simply to refresh. The wellness program I joined at the end of last year seems to have become a regular offering, so I joined again this time. It’s a short program, but it’s a wonderful time that helps me remember how to move my body. Repeating morning mat work, moving in the pool, and then rinsing off at the spa makes my body feel revived. By chance this time, I had the pleasure of being treated by the same therapist who once took care of me at The Atta Terrace spa—such a happy connection. As a guest, I’m also glad that many staff members stay on and work here for a long time. A yoga mat is always provided in the Room, and doing yoga on the terrace early in the morning while soaking up the sunrise is another soothing moment. I’m grateful as well for all the staff who look after me with such attentive care throughout my stay. I’ll be back again in about six months.

    The thalassotherapy pool is great.

    I stayed for three nights just after Golden Week. Since this is a Hotel that does not allow children, it was quiet and relaxing. I was traveling alone as an older woman. As I wasn’t planning to do any sightseeing, I didn’t rent a car and used the Hotel’s complimentary Shuttle Service. It was a shame that it rained throughout my stay, but there is a thalasso pool, so I could still enjoy myself even in the rain. I’ve been to similar facilities (with fresh water), but I was surprised at how powerful the water features are here. It was fun to walk around and simply let myself be carried by the current. My Room was on the 6th floor with a great view—spacious, luxurious, very clean, and comfortable. As a solo guest the value isn’t great, though it may feel more reasonable for two people. At sunset aperitif time, I enjoyed champagne and various cocktails. For breakfast, you can also dine at the main building (Busena Hotel?), not only at this wellness Hotel, which gave me plenty of options. Among all the Hotels I’ve stayed at, I especially liked how open and spacious areas like the lobby lounge felt—an airy atrium design reminiscent of resorts in Bali (main building). The grounds are also large and perfect for walking. If it hadn’t been raining, I would have loved to take more walks—so that was a bit disappointing. That said, the staff were thoughtful: they showed me around the property by cart when they noticed my situation. Many of them were friendly as well, which made my stay very enjoyable. I’ll visit again when I start missing that pool—hopefully with better weather next time. Thank you very much; I’d love to return. I rated the bath area 3 stars only because it would have been even better if there were a large public bath.

    It was amazing!

    Everything was wonderful. Everyone’s service was warm and attentive—perfect in every way. It was the ideal place to treat myself after working hard. Choosing the four-person Room was absolutely the right call! The view from the window was amazing, and the space was just right—not too big or too small—perfect for a girls’ getaway. The thalasso pool became everyone’s favorite spot, and we were already saying, “Let’s come back!” so we went ahead and made an autumn Reservation. One night wasn’t enough, so next time we’ll be staying for two nights!

    I was very satisfied!

    Thank you very much for taking care of us. Before our departure, I had the pleasure of corresponding with Concierge U, who was incredibly kind, and I truly looked forward to meeting them. Thanks to U and everyone who supported us at Thalasso, the dining staff, and all other team members, we had an outstanding stay. The meals were healthy and wholesome—exactly what I love. I will definitely return! It’s a perfect 100 points, with just one suggestion for improvement: I was surprised that the tea packs sold in the shop were packaged in plastic (while those in the lounge were in paper). Since this is a health-focused Accommodation, I would appreciate it if you could switch the tea packaging to paper. Recently, more people are avoiding plastic packaging due to health concerns (microplastics). The tea was so delicious that I bought loose-leaf instead of tea bags. That said, it truly is a wonderful Accommodation—I’m glad we stayed and am satisfied with everything. Thank you again very much.

    Everything you see t...

    Everything you see the moment you step into the Room feels pleasant and instantly relaxing. The entire Hotel also feels open and airy, making it comfortable to spend time anywhere. The thalasso pool was incredibly fun, and all the guests looked like they were enjoying it too—it's a wonderful Facility. We enjoyed ourselves to the fullest over two days. There were various programs available this time, so I’d like to join one next time. By day three in Okinawa, we had been full for long stretches of time and couldn’t fit in any of the lounge food—something to look forward to next visit. This time as well, we went to Busena Terrace at sunset to listen to the saxophone performance, and had dinner at the Chinese dining restaurant. The à la carte portions there are generous, so it’s hard to try many different dishes in one visit—which only makes me want to come back again and try more. It was so delicious that I ate everything before taking photos, so I only have a photo of dessert. I was also happy that the Hotel kindly included a birthday drink. Thank you again for such an enjoyable and wonderful stay.

    Our usual Terrace Club

    A Hotel where being welcomed at reception with “Welcome back” always makes me happy. The staff seem to change fairly often, but some remembered me and took the time to say hello, which put a smile on my face. It’s the kind of place where you can relax in a spacious Room with a great view, enjoy the thalasso pool, make full use of the Busena Facilities, and truly savor a Hotel stay. This time at the main dining restaurant (perhaps because the manager was off that day), I felt the service was a little unpolished—such as not being served water until I asked even though there were goblets on the table, or requesting the wine list but then not receiving the food menu (how are we supposed to choose?)—but I brushed it off as “maybe they just didn’t notice.” So I was actually surprised (in a good way) when the manager went out of their way to ask me the next day, “Was everything okay yesterday?” (laugh). Given that it’s a wellness resort restaurant and many guests seem to enjoy drinks during aperitif time, I imagine it may be difficult to offer an extensive wine list. Still, I do wish they would at least stock Terrace Resort’s original wines that have been released. I’d also love to see multiple Chatán Brewery craft beers available—it would make choosing more fun (just my opinion as someone who enjoys drinking). In any case, I’d like to continue returning once a year. Thank you for taking care of us.

    Universal Hotel

    We stayed for two nights. I have stayed at luxury Hotels from time to time, but this was the first Hotel that felt close to perfect. The views, the club lounge, the impressive Room, and the thalasso pool—there are clearly many features designed to delight guests. Even so, what stood out even more was the exceptional hospitality of the staff; it made our stay truly comfortable from the bottom of our hearts. I learned what genuine hospitality really means. Wishing all the staff much happiness.

    Perfect for me.

    I stayed for about three nights on my own. I have also stayed here many times with my wife. What makes it so comfortable is its “quiet sincerity.” You can truly feel this once you stay. The Busena Terrace is on the same grounds, but this place is different. It’s not simply because there are no children—the overall atmosphere feels genuinely relaxing. To me, it feels like a stage where the guests, staff, and surroundings blend together in perfect harmony.

    A Luxurious Stay

    This was my first visit! I made a Reservation to try the thalasso pool, and it turned out to be an even better Resort Hotel than I imagined. The Room balcony was spacious, with an ocean view of emerald-green water, and the stars in the night sky were beautiful. The thalasso pool offered great exercise benefits, and I could clearly feel my metabolism increasing. Breakfast was healthy, and I was satisfied with both the quality and the portion size. As an adults-only resort, it was very quiet, and I enjoyed a calm, relaxing stay. The staff’s thoughtful hospitality was wonderful, and I would definitely like to return.

    Next time, I will definitely stay in an ocean-view Room.

    The staff were very friendly, and we were lucky to have great weather—it was a wonderful stay. The building isn’t new, but it’s well maintained, and I found the Room calm and comfortable. Just one note: this time we stayed in the only available Sunset Room, but I felt an Ocean View Room would be better (there was what looked like a graveyard at the corner of the property visible from the Room, so it didn’t cause any actual problems, but it did feel a little unsettling). Next time, I’d like to make a Reservation early for an Ocean View Room!

    This is my favorite place.

    It was my first time back in Okinawa in February in a while. This time, I especially felt both the familiar charm and the ongoing improvements. The team feels even stronger than before, and the stay seemed more comfortable. Even in the off-season, there are many guests—this is a Hotel that continues to be well loved. Truly impressive. It’s a place I genuinely love. We were lucky with the weather, and I enjoyed an incredible sunset from my favorite Room.

    A consistently excellent stay at The Terrace Club

    The thalasso pool is a one-of-a-kind Facility. I’ve been coming here many times over the years, and I never get tired of it. The staff have gradually changed, and there’s only one person I’ve known from the old days, but everyone is pleasantly friendly and welcoming. Since this is a Facility where children are not allowed, I’ve had fewer chances to visit since having grandchildren, but I’ll be back even as I get older. This is a place to fully enjoy Hotel life, so if you stay here, I recommend not scheduling anything else. If you’re mainly here for golf or sightseeing, a Business Hotel is more economical (lol).

    This is my favorite ...

    This is my favorite Hotel in Okinawa, with a spacious and relaxing atmosphere. The in-room dining is also delicious, and being able to unwind in the Room is one of the reasons I love it. I was very satisfied again this time. I will visit again.

    I had a very pleasant stay.

    The service from all the staff at the Hotel was excellent. It was very comfortable. The Room was also wonderful. I was deeply moved when they prepared warm water for me to take my medicine during breakfast. I have stayed at hotels of this class in Onna Village before, but this one is the best. I will come again.

    It was my first visi...

    It was my first visit in 5 years, and I had a wonderful Christmas. Everything was amazing, including the Room, balcony, Hotel lobby, bar, and thalassotherapy spa. Additionally, there was a welcome-back message card in the Room, which made me very happy and moved me as much as my first stay. I would love to stay here again.

    Dream World

    Every stay here is exceptional, and this time, with perfect weather, I felt as if I were in a dream world and was able to relax completely. The hospitality, facilities, cuisine, and clientele make this one of the top-class hotels in Okinawa. The only minor issue was encountering Mickey Mouse out of costume at the thalassotherapy pool. However, my overall satisfaction remains 5 stars.

    I want to stay again!

    I stayed for 2 nights with my husband. The cleaning service was provided twice a day, morning and evening, keeping the accommodation always clean and comfortable, allowing us to have a very enjoyable time! The breakfast was delicious, healthy, and very satisfying. We could also relax in the lounge while gazing at the ocean, making it a perfect holiday.

    I want to stay here every year.

    Following last year, I stayed at the accommodation during the year-end. This time, an event was held during my stay, and I participated in a posture and breathing course. Instead of sightseeing, I came to relax at the hotel with thalasso therapy, spa treatments, and stretching to cleanse my body and mind. The additional events focusing on wellness were very meaningful. The hospitality was exceptional, with staff providing heartwarming service during meals. Although I intended to focus on detoxing with a fruit-based diet during my stay, the breakfast was so delicious and healthy that I ended up eating more than planned. Yoga in nature at Atta Terrace, swimming pools, or visiting farms are also tempting options; however, refreshing both body and mind through thalasso therapy seems likely to become a regular choice for me moving forward. Rather than traveling to Okinawa itself, this trip felt like it was all about staying at this hotel. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!
