    The toilet specifications are a major drawback.

    The staff service was excellent, and the Room was clean and comfortable. On the other hand, the toilet design is a major drawback. Because the glass is semi-transparent, you can see inside from the Room, and since the glass door does not seal completely, odors also spread into the Room. It’s hard to say privacy is ensured, so I wouldn’t really recommend it for couples. In the end, I used the lobby restroom. These days, new Hotels are opening one after another, and it’s no longer an era where a good location alone is enough. The service and guest room quality are high, which makes this toilet design especially disappointing. If you consider improving it, I believe it could become an even more satisfying Hotel.

    My travel plans chan...

    My travel plans changed, so I made a same-day Reservation. Even so, I was happy that amenities for children had been prepared. The location was very convenient because it is directly connected to the station. The Room was spacious and clean. At check-in, I should have received the IKYU Diamond benefits, but there was no explanation, so I had to bring it up myself. Another disappointment was the pool. I knew there would be a fee, but I wish the website had stated more clearly that payment is required separately for both the check-in day and the check-out day. I was also disappointed that the locker room wasn’t cleaned properly and that there were no plastic bags for swimsuits. I had wanted to stay at Sheraton, so I went ahead and made a Reservation, but maybe my expectations were too high—I didn’t feel it was a five-star Hotel. I don’t think I’ll stay again.

    Conveniently located near the station.

    It was a very convenient Hotel located right next to Hiroshima Station. It was clean, and the Room had been renovated, so it didn’t feel old. One disappointing point was that there was no changing area. I think it would be better to have some kind of partition for privacy, especially for women.

    For the price, the shower area in the bathroom is quite small.

    For the price, the shower area is small. There is about a 5 mm gap in the toilet door, and there is no exhaust fan, so odors spread into the Room. The slippers feel cheap.

    Reliable service

    Thank you for your hospitality. I was impressed that whenever I needed assistance at check-in or at the front desk, the staff came out from behind the counter to help. It left a very positive impression that they proactively stepped forward to confirm what I needed rather than having me wait. My Room had a view of Mazda Stadium. Unfortunately, I was away on a trip at the time, but the Room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was excellent—truly what you would expect from Sheraton. If I had one comment, it would be that the wash area was not partitioned, which felt a little awkward when getting ready. Overall, the quality was outstanding, and I would gladly stay here again when visiting Hiroshima.

    About Wi‑Fi

    We were informed that, for security reasons, the TV is not allowed to connect to Wi‑Fi. As a result, we were unable to enjoy Netflix and similar services. Since this is a Sheraton under the Marriott group, I hope they can improve this by balancing security with guest satisfaction so the stay can be more enjoyable. The Room and shared areas felt clean. Thank you.

    Convenient Location

    Conveniently located near the Shinkansen gates, making shopping and dining easy. The open design of the bathroom and bedroom was stylish but not very practical. The IKYU Diamond Privilege included four bottles of cola and two momiji manju, which was amusing!

    Highly satisfied.

    I stayed for one night. I arrived much earlier than the check-in time, but since the room was ready, I was able to check in earlier than planned and take a short rest before sightseeing. The front desk staff were kind, and I had a comfortable stay. Next time, I would like to stay for multiple nights. It was very convenient as it is located very close to the station.

    Recommended Hotel Near Hiroshima Station

    The service is absolutely excellent. The Room is clean and comfortable. All necessary amenities are provided. The club lounge offers a stunning view of Hiroshima's cityscape and surrounding mountains. You can enjoy sparkling wine even during the day before cocktail time. The gym and pool are also comfortable and easy to use. Highly recommended as a convenient base near the station.

    The Room was spaciou...

    The Room was spacious, clean, and stylish, providing a comfortable stay. However, the layout of the toilet and bath was slightly inconvenient, and the lack of a changing space posed some challenges during use. Depending on the angle, it felt like the inside of the toilet might be visible. The breakfast was delicious and highly satisfying. For single use, it would likely be particularly comfortable without any major issues. Overall, while the Room and breakfast were appealing, privacy in the bathroom area could be improved slightly.

    Please confirm the room layout.

    The bathroom and toilet walls are frosted glass, making the lower body not visible, but the upper body is quite visible. Additionally, there is no partition in front of the changing space for the bath, which might feel a bit awkward for most guests, even with family or friends. The in-room coffee not being capsule coffee might be disappointing for some. The bath was convenient and enjoyable to use as it included a washing area. The hotel has an excellent location directly connected to Hiroshima Station. The tea room was not overly crowded, and the service was outstanding. Breakfast featured local Hiroshima specialties such as oyster omelets, Hiroshima pickles, and Chichiyasu yogurt. Freshly squeezed orange juice and takeaway coffee or tea were also available, which added to the experience.

    As a Diamond member, I was upgraded to a room on the top floor for free. Thanks to that, I was also able to use the Club Lounge! [Room & Amenities] The bathroom door had no lock and there was quite a gap, so sound could be heard outside. The shampoo cleanses the scalp well but leaves hair feeling dry. Cleaning service was quick and thorough. It would be great if all lighting controls could be operated from switches by the bedside. [Service] All staff were kind and attentive! Their hospitality was excellent, deserving of high praise. [Onsen & Bath] A mirror in the bathroom would have been appreciated. [Facility] The indoor pool was clean and enjoyable. The location is convenient as you can reach it from the station without getting wet in rainy weather! [Dining] Since I stayed for two nights, I tried breakfast at both the regular lounge on the lobby floor and the Club Lounge. The regular lounge had more menu options but was very crowded, and drinks were consumed quickly so they weren’t chilled enough at times. The chef preparing omelets provided friendly service which added a nice touch! On the other hand, the Club Lounge had fewer people, offering a calmer dining experience with higher satisfaction overall. Additionally, cakes at the café on the lobby floor were absolutely delicious! [Satisfaction Level] While improvements are needed for both bathrooms and toilets, I truly appreciated how wonderful all staff members were as well as its convenient location—so if I visit Hiroshima again, I'd love to stay here once more!

    It was very disappointing.

    This was my first time staying at Sheraton, and it was a very disappointing experience. Although the IKYU benefit included free items in the refrigerator, there was only cola inside. Additionally, the slippers were as thin as those in a Business Hotel, and there was no coffee machine—only drip coffee. The reception staff were not very welcoming, and I do not wish to stay here again.

    The train noise was excessive, and the front desk staff's service was extremely poor.

    The room was not soundproof, and the poor facility made it impossible to sleep due to the loud train noise. The attitude and response of two Hotel staff members were so terrible that it ruined the travel experience. Despite requesting a quiet Room away from the tracks at check-in, they mistakenly assigned us the closest Room to the tracks. When we asked for a room change, they refused outright. When we requested a cancellation instead, they said same-day cancellations were absolutely not allowed and accused us of making unreasonable demands. They claimed that train noise was not their responsibility and showed no accountability whatsoever. Their tone and behavior towards guests were shockingly rude and disrespectful, leaving us appalled and furious. I will never stay at a Marriott-affiliated Hotel again in the future.

    I was looking forward to it, but...

    Due to checking in past 10 PM (as communicated during the Reservation), I understood that regular services at the front desk would not be available. However, the response was even less professional than that of a cheap Business Hotel. At breakfast, despite the venue not being crowded, I was directed to a seat right at the busy entrance simply because I was dining alone. Wanting to enjoy my meal in peace, I declined, only to be met with an attitude that clearly conveyed inconvenience. The glass for juice had visible marks on its rim despite supposedly being clean, and the croissants and bread were as hard as biscuits. Although I paid more than what domestic major hotels charge, my satisfaction was limited to only the Room's spaciousness, Facility quality, and location. Unfortunately, I will choose another Hotel next time.

    I had a very pleasant stay.

    The location is convenient, just a short distance from Hiroshima Station Shinkansen Exit. The front desk staff were quick to respond, providing a sense of security. The room was very clean, and there was no stress from noise or odors that can be bothersome in other hotels. The breakfast offered a wide variety of options, which was very satisfying. I would like to use it again next time.

    Hotel without complaints

    The Room is clean and stylish, with large windows and a great view. The amenities are well-equipped and the linens are thick. The staff is reliable and there is nothing to complain about. I will use it again.

    I am very satisfied this time as well. I visited both Miyabi-tei and Miyabi-tei Bar, and both were very good. The service was polite, and I have always liked Miyabi-tei Bar because you can enjoy sushi and champagne there. I heard that there have been cases where the coffee maker in the Room was not cleaned, so I ran hot water through it before using it, but it seemed to be properly cleaned and was clean. Recently, I have encountered several Hotels with broken coffee makers, so I thought it was wonderful that this one was properly maintained. I would like to use this Hotel again when I visit Hiroshima. Thank you very much for this time!!

    Disappointing

    Stayed again because I had a great experience this spring. However, perhaps due to the difference in room grade, there was a musty smell from the bathroom lingering in the room, and hair and used cotton swabs were found under the sink, which was not the level of cleanliness expected from Sheraton. It might be due to a shortage of staff, but having such an experience makes me not want to stay again, so I hope for double-checking or improvements.
