    The buffet format had changed.

    Previously, I could cook shabu-shabu myself, but this time only cold, boiled pork was provided. It was disappointing. On the plus side, it was nice that I could make the surf clam curry myself.

    Breakfast was refined and included local specialties, which I thoroughly enjoyed. However, the start time seemed inconsistent: around 6:30, there were already five or six guests inside eating and drinking. This operation left me with a negative impression.

    I experienced an earthquake, but

    Thank you for hosting me again after my stay in March. Unlike last time, the breakfast rice was warm, which was nice. I stayed on the 12th floor that day. Shortly after check-in, I experienced an earthquake, and since I was on an upper floor, the shaking was quite strong. There were no particular issues, but from a safety standpoint, it may be helpful to provide reassurance and guidance via an in-house announcement (e.g., that everything is okay).

    Satisfied with the service.

    When I booked, only smoking rooms were available, so I reserved a smoking room. However, at check-in on the day, you kindly changed it to a non-smoking room. Thank you very much.

    A significant change

    I always stay here. This time, I was surprised to find that the souvenir shop and the Japanese restaurant on the lobby floor had closed. At breakfast, when it opened at 7:00 a.m., there was already a tour group there, and the rice was lukewarm, which was disappointing. It is usually delicious, so I was disappointed this time.

    Breakfast

    I stayed here for business. The accommodation is conveniently located near the station and has a historic and charming atmosphere. Personally, I was delighted to find Sapporo miso ramen, which I rarely get to eat, served in a bowl-sized portion for breakfast, along with healthy pork shabu-shabu—both were very satisfying. Until now, I had been using other business hotels, but from now on, I plan to make this my regular accommodation. Thank you very much!

    The breakfast was excellent.

    I had breakfast on the top floor. The view was excellent, and the food was very satisfying. Since check-out was at 11:00, I could enjoy a leisurely breakfast on the top floor until the end of breakfast hours. It was also nice that newspapers were available.

    Disappointment with breakfast

    The hotel has a sense of history, but it is well-maintained and clean, which I think is good. The room was spacious and comfortable. One issue was the breakfast (I'm not sure about the price, but there's a 1400 yen difference with or without breakfast, so I assume it's a 1400 yen breakfast). Breakfast is served until 9:30. I entered at 8:40. Almost everything was gone already & no replenishment. I won't write specifics because it would remind me, but it was surprising for a hotel with a paid breakfast, not a free one. Is this a hotel that provides in-flight meals...? Very disappointing. It was an unexpected start to the day.
