    A Comfortable Stay

    We were able to spend a relaxing holiday in a quiet and very cool environment. The views from the Room and the Onsen are also wonderful and very relaxing. Thank you for your thoughtful consideration in ensuring our meals did not repeat during our Multiple Night Stay.

    Mt. Fuji was amazing!

    The view of Mount Fuji from the Room was amazing. The bath was also great, but it would have been even better if there was an open-air bath. The staff were kind, and I felt relaxed and rejuvenated. Thank you very much!

    For those seeking a break from work

    This was my first time staying here. Although it was a short stay from night to early morning on the last day of our honeymoon, as we needed to head into the mountains early, I truly enjoyed my time here. The facility offers various leisure activities, stargazing opportunities, and events that show great care for guests' enjoyment. It made me want to come back for a more relaxed 2-night, 3-day stay next time. For those who usually work hard in busy cities, this nature-surrounded environment is perfect for refreshing your mind and body. However, since it's located in the mountains, temperatures can drop more than in flat areas—please take note of that!

    Buffet Quality

    This was my first stay at this accommodation, although I have stayed at many others in the Harvest group. There is nothing around the area (not even a convenience store), so meals must be taken within the hotel. However, the buffet was excellent, and I was very satisfied with the food. While strolling around the premises, I even encountered wild deer—it's a great place to relax. The bath is only an observation bath without an open-air option, but I could enjoy a leisurely soak while admiring Mount Fuji.

    The starry night sky was not visible.

    I chose this accommodation with a "starry sky viewing" setting, hoping to see a sky full of stars like I did as a child. The room felt a bit old but was clean, and the service, meals, and bath were excellent. However, I was disappointed with the starry sky. The room facing the Amagi mountain range side was said to be suitable for stargazing due to minimal lighting, but the parking lot lights in front were too bright to see many stars. Although the parking lot lights turned off after 2 AM, the view from the room still wasn't great. Even when I went out to an open area in front of the hotel, the entrance lights were too bright—while I could see first-magnitude stars, it wasn't enough to call it a "sky full of stars," let alone spot the Milky Way. Honestly disappointing. In hindsight, choosing a room on the Mt. Fuji side with better views might have been better.

    Looking for a Quiet Place

    Cool and breathtaking views, relaxing in the Onsen, and delicious meals—this was the perfect place for my solo motorcycle trip! I’m now interested in visiting another Harvest Hotel location. While everyone has their preferences, I did find the bed a bit firm.

    The Harvest buffet e...

    The Harvest buffet exceeds the standard level of buffets. Not only can you enjoy a wide variety of dishes, but some items are at a level that could be served in specialty restaurants. This time, the tuna sushi was exceptional and truly delicious. While I usually don't like buffets because they feel hectic, the Harvest buffet is an exception. From the balcony, you can enjoy breathtaking views: Mount Fuji directly in front, Sagami Bay to your right, and Suruga Bay to your left. At night, the sky is filled with countless stars—you can even see the Milky Way. Even during extreme heat exceeding 35°C in other areas, mornings and evenings here are cool enough to need a cardigan. Delicious food, stunning scenery, refreshing climate—this Hotel is perfect for escaping the summer heat. I would love to visit again someday. Thank you very much!

    The Hotel with the Best Scenic View in Japan.

    I have visited over 100 Hotels, but this Hotel truly stood out. The staff were all polite and courteous, and upon departure, they gathered to wave goodbye to guests leaving by bus. It was a touching moment that moved me deeply. This was an exceptional Hotel. At night, I was delighted to see a group of adorable deer, which was very soothing. However, there were some points of improvement: unlike other Hotels where water is always provided in the Room, it wasn’t available here. Also, the balcony floor seemed slightly dirty; regular cleaning with a pressure washer would be appreciated. I had high expectations for breakfast as well—the staff were excellent—but unfortunately, the food lacked freshness (especially the fish), which was disappointing. Despite being located at one of the highest points in Izu and offering affordable rates, this Hotel impressed me with its outstanding staff hospitality and left me wanting to return again soon after a long time. I hope the manager continues running this as Izu’s top Hotel!
