    Guest Room & Amenities: We had a twin room, and it was spacious. The view from the window was great. Amenities are picked up from in front of the front desk. There is a wide range of loungewear sizes, and I was happy that you can take different sizes for the top and bottom. There were only a few tissues in the room, so I used the ones I brought with me. The safe is small. Service: Very good. Onsen/Baths: The water was nice, but it’s puzzling that there are three bathing areas for women and only one Onsen bath. If heated water is necessary, wouldn’t just one be enough? The open-air bath had a lovely atmosphere and was great. Facility & Equipment: There is a sofa in front of where the air conditioner blows, so cold air hits you directly; it was too chilly to sit there for long. The parking lot is a bit narrow. The underground parking area would be tough for elderly guests to walk up from. Dining: Both dinner and breakfast were buffet-style, and everything was very delicious. It was disappointing that the spare ribs at dinner were overly dry and had become tough; otherwise, we were very satisfied. Overall Satisfaction: We stayed during Obon, but aside from the parking lot it didn’t feel overly crowded, and we were able to relax comfortably. We felt we’d found a great Hotel.

    A great Accommodation where you can relax and unwind.

    I often stay here during longer holiday breaks when traveling overseas feels like too much hassle. The view from the Room is great, the surroundings are quiet, and you can reach the city center in just a 15-minute drive, so the location is excellent. The large public bath is spacious and there is also an open-air bath, so I have no complaints. As for the meals, considering the price, I think they do a good job. I have stayed here many times and have never been dissatisfied with how the staff respond. This Accommodation’s main purpose may be golf plus an overnight stay, but even staying without golf is more than satisfying, so I will continue to use it. [P.S.] Since I’m male I can’t say for sure, but I was told that some people are dissatisfied with the women’s large public bath because it’s rather small and not easy to access the open-air area.

    The deep-fried mehikari is absolutely delicious!

    The deep-fried mehikari served at the dinner buffet was absolutely delicious! The bath also had an ocean view and was spacious, which was great. I have errands in Tohoku every year around this time, so I’ll be staying again next year.

    The view was excellent.

    The room had an ocean view with a breathtaking scenery that made me want to keep looking. At night, I enjoyed the moonlit sea, which alone made the stay worthwhile. The ocean view can also be seen from the lobby, where many people were relaxing with drinks in hand. The room key was a classic acrylic bar type, which felt nostalgic. The room itself was spacious! The facilities were standard but sufficient, and despite its age, everything was clean and well-maintained—though this might vary depending on the room. We stayed as a family of three in a twin room; I used the sofa bed and found it very comfortable. It’s great that they provided enough beds for everyone since some hotels nowadays only offer two double beds or futons on raised platforms without extra beds. Meals were buffet-style with plenty of variety for everyone to enjoy. The dessert section had various self-serve options that were fun to try out. There were lively groups of men who seemed to be golfers at some tables, but there were also many families dining as well. Breakfast was delicious too; however, tables with ocean views filled up quickly. As others have mentioned, it’s quite far from the large public bath area to the open-air bath—you’ll need to walk a fair bit while undressed! Also, since it’s small in size, not many people can fit at once. When I visited the open-air bath in the morning during August, overgrown weeds blocked what could have been a beautiful view of the sea—a bit disappointing given its potential. The woven basket bags provided for trips to the baths were convenient. There isn’t a convenience store within walking distance nor much available for purchase inside the hotel (though there are vending machines), so I recommend buying anything you need beforehand. The complimentary bottled water in our fridge was helpful. You can get discounted tickets for Aquamarine Fukushima here as well—another great perk!

    Completely Satisfying

    Found this Hotel online while searching for a place with delicious dinner. Although the hallways showed signs of aging, it didn’t bother me at all. The Onsen was great. There was a sign directing to the open-air bath, and I thought it was nearby, but it turned out to be quite a walk. It wasn’t visible from outside, but being naked felt slightly embarrassing. The dinner buffet lived up to its Reviews—everything was delicious. There were plenty of seats available, so it wasn’t crowded. Alcohol and drinks were all-you-can-drink; however, when I asked about which cup to use for drinks, the staff’s unfriendly response was disappointing. The Room and view were excellent as well as the clean sink area in the bathroom. Breakfast offered a wide variety of side dishes for rice—I wanted to try them all but couldn’t because I was too full! Overall, I had a very satisfying stay at this Hotel; however, one downside was that there weren’t enough hair dryers in the Onsen area—only about four in total—and several people were waiting while I used one, so I couldn’t take my time drying my hair properly. I mentioned this on the Room survey and hope they’ll add more dryers in the future!

    I had a relaxing time.

    The Facility is a bit dated, but the spacious and tall building allowed for a relaxing stay. It was relatively quiet without the influence of inbound tourism. Improving ventilation for the smoke from grilling steaks during the dinner buffet would be appreciated. Unfortunately, I forgot my makeup pouch in the changing room and couldn't find it despite searching. The staff provided courteous service. Thank you very much!

    The ocean view was amazing!

    Affordable rates with two meals included and all-you-can-drink! Best of all, there are smoking Rooms available. Usually, smoking Rooms have poor views or lingering tobacco smells, but this was a lovely Room with an ocean view and no noticeable tobacco odor. We stayed here for a trip with friends. Thank you very much!

    There were many sati...

    There were many satisfying aspects such as the Onsen and breakfast. However, I was disappointed with the Facility. The hallway carpet being reinforced with duct tape is unacceptable. The bed. Both my companion and I were bitten by mites. As this is a Hotel at a golf course, I hope it remains clean and well-maintained. Since it represents Onahama, expectations are naturally high. We kindly ask for improvements to be made.

    Told that the Room was not booked.

    We used this for a company trip. We made the reservation via phone and IKYU, but due to a mistake by the hotel, one room was not booked, which caused inconvenience for our employees. The golf course and onsen were excellent.

    Second stay

    I visited this hotel for the second time as I have several opportunities to travel to Fukushima each year. The building itself feels a bit aged, but I don't mind its retro charm. I particularly enjoy the outdoor bath in the large public Onsen, and I revisited this time looking forward to it. However, there were some disappointing aspects regarding staff service during this stay. At check-in, there was a small billing error and somewhat unfriendly service. Even when another staff member took over, the same mistake occurred again, which was concerning. Improved information sharing and confirmation processes would make guests feel more secure using the accommodation. Later at night, when I got hungry and tried to buy something from a vending machine, new bills couldn't be used. When I went to the front desk for change, their response felt cold as they handled it silently without any acknowledgment or words like "Yes" or "Certainly." A simple phrase like that could significantly improve impressions. The breakfast-included plan was relatively affordable with standard offerings that seemed sufficient considering its price point. The reception staff at the breakfast venue were friendly and attentive, which added a positive note—hence my 3-star rating. Overall, while the Onsen and atmosphere of the building are appealing features of this accommodation, improving hospitality would make stays even more comfortable and enjoyable.

    Weekend Stay Review Good Points: 1. Beautiful ocean view and great scenery. 2. Many tourist facilities nearby. 3. Clean and tidy rooms. Bad Points: 1. Front desk service was average; they didn’t call a taxi (apparently, there’s a system to call from a dedicated phone nearby, so it might be understandable). 2. Some golf guests had intimidating appearances (just my personal impression, sorry). 3. Breakfast buffet was average quality. 4. The spa listed here was unexpectedly closed without any notice or explanation on the page; I chose this place partly for the spa option, so proper notification would have been appreciated. Overall: If there are no other options, I’d consider staying here again.

    The ocean view was excellent.

    The cost-performance ratio is relatively good. The dinner buffet felt somewhat lacking, with fewer fresh seafood options than expected for Onahama. The breakfast buffet was better, but having more live kitchen stations for both meals would enhance the experience. Regarding the onsen, it seemed that golfers' convenience was prioritized over accommodation guests, possibly depending on the day of the week. In the end, I did not use the onsen.

    Exceeded expectations.

    The building is old, with some wear and tear on the walls and fixtures, but the interior was well-cleaned and had a sense of cleanliness. For dinner, I chose a Plan that included a French course meal instead of a buffet. Honestly, I didn’t have high expectations, but every dish was carefully prepared and absolutely delicious, leaving me very satisfied. The large public bath also serves as the golf course's bathing facility, so the changing area and washing space were spacious. The water was excellent and very relaxing. The open-air bath facing the sea requires descending more than 20 steps from the indoor bath; however, thoughtful touches like providing towels to wrap yourself in after exiting the indoor bath were appreciated. Considering its cost-performance ratio, it’s truly wonderful.

    We chose the dinner ...

    We chose the dinner course for the evening meal. The timing of each dish was perfect, and the French cuisine was well-arranged and delicious. The Onsen also provided towels in the changing room, so there was no need to bring a bath towel from the Room, which was very convenient.

    The meals are incredibly delicious.

    All fish dishes are absolutely delicious. Especially the tuna, which is freshly prepared on-site and is exquisite. Even the pickled ginger is highly recommended, to a level you might not have experienced even at high-end sushi restaurants.

    Excellent buffet

    The dishes made with local specialties were well-received. The tuna sashimi was delicious, something I hadn't enjoyed in a long time. The roast lamb, which I tried for the first time, was particularly delicious. The all-you-can-drink option for alcohol was also a great value.

    The scenery and the food were both excellent!

    We stayed in a twin room with a plan that includes dinner and breakfast. A shuttle service is available from the station, so you can stay easily even without a private car. The room had a full view of the sea from the window, which was very open and spacious. Dinner was all about monkfish, and it was excellent! Although the room showed a bit of age, it was very clean and comfortable. We forgot to try the onsen, but the bath in the room was also spacious and comfortable! We would love to stay again!!

    The view is amazing!!

    This is my second stay. The first time, I played golf and only had breakfast... This time, I stayed with my child, and we had both breakfast and dinner. It would be perfect if there was a children's plate. The room is clean. The view from the room is also excellent! Next time, I look forward to the meals and will stay in an upgraded room.

    Onsen Trip

    I used it for the first time. The room had a view of the sea, and I was able to relax! Dinner was Japanese cuisine, but it was so filling that I was stuffed! It was very delicious! The breakfast buffet also had a lot of variety, it was delicious, and I couldn't finish it all! The onsen had a spacious changing room, making it perfect for relaxing after a bath! They also sell milk. The disappointing part was that the water in the open-air bath was lukewarm. It's the first time I've experienced lukewarm water in an open-air bath. Also, the items sold in the vending machine were very expensive, and you could only insert up to 400 yen in coins, making it difficult to purchase. But I was satisfied because the dinner was very filling and delicious! If I have another chance to go, I will make a reservation. Thank you for your hospitality.

    Smoking room

    I intended to reserve a non-smoking room, but it turned out to be a smoking room, and I couldn't change it, so I reluctantly went to the room. I thought it would be okay, but as expected, the hotel with years of history had rooms that were smoked for a long time, like a smoking room. I tried spraying the entire room with the deodorizer from the closet, as advised by the front desk, but it didn't make much difference. Please make sure not to make a mistake when making your reservation.

    I made a reservation...

    I made a reservation with a special plan for the day. The staff's hospitality is excellent. All the dinner dishes are delicious. It was an all-you-can-drink plan, and the variety of alcohol was abundant, with both red and white wine being very tasty. I am pleased that there is a ReFa dryer in the onsen. The breakfast was also delicious, and I was very happy to have Costa Coffee. It is a hotel I would like to stay at again. Thank you very much.
