    The Room was spaciou...

The Room was spacious and very clean. We were told the Room only had a shower, so we chose a Room with an open-air bath, but it was disappointing that it wasn’t an Onsen. The large public bath was neither too hot nor too lukewarm—just the right temperature for me—so I could relax and enjoy it. It was a bit disappointing that the trees around the open-air bath were so thick that we couldn’t see the stars or the moon. All of the dishes were delicious, and my elderly mother was very happy as well. We had requested sea bream chazuke, but they also served us the original course’s burdock takikomi rice, and everything was delicious. The strawberry yokan for dessert had a wonderful sweet-and-tart flavor—I liked it so much I wanted to buy some to take home! Thank you for the wonderful meal.

An Accommodation filled with comfort—from the cuisine and baths to the people

The Hotel staff warmly welcomed us from the moment we arrived. The complimentary anko rice cakes were delicious. The Room was neatly prepared and very well cleaned. The amenities were thoughtfully provided—just what we needed, in the right amounts, with no waste. I was especially happy they had socks. As expected of Okayama, the ingredients in the meals were excellent. Many dishes were simple rather than heavy, and everything was seasoned beautifully—the quality of the ingredients really stood out. The children’s meals were also wonderful, not just fried foods, but easy-to-eat udon, sashimi, and meat as well. The hot springs were fantastic: 100% natural source water, an open-air bath, a waterfall-style bath, and even a jacuzzi-like bath—very relaxing. Having POLA skincare products was another big plus! Breakfast offered many delicious items, plus a buffet service with bread, natto, yogurt, coffee, and more—I ended up eating far too much. Listening to the Japanese bush warbler singing in the morning made it a truly lovely start to the day at this Accommodation. Thank you very much.

We truly hope everyone will come and stay with us.

We stayed here as a couple on our first trip to Okayama. We’ve stayed at many Ryokan and Hotels, and the value for money here was truly top-class. First, the Onsen was wonderful. The temperature wasn’t too hot, so we could soak for a long time. We also really enjoyed the view of the trees from the open-air bath. And above all, the meals. The seasoning was perfect!! Both the meat and fish were delicious. The shabu-shabu beef wasn’t the overly fatty A5 type you often see; it had a nice bite and real flavor. We ate it with ponzu, and my wife liked it so much she said she wanted to take some home. We definitely want to come again. By the way, they have table tennis—highly recommended. It’s fun for everyone.

30th Wedding Anniversary and My Wife’s 60th Birthday Celebration

We visited Okayama to Kurashiki to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary and my wife’s 60th birthday, and stayed at Yamamomoka. We were welcomed with drinks and checked in. All the staff were kind and helpful, and the attendant in charge of our Room was especially cheerful and considerate—we became a fan. The front desk staff also kindly took photos for us, and thanks to the chef’s thoughtful arrangements, the meal was truly moving. However, it was disappointing that the water pressure in the cypress bath in the Room was extremely low—it took over an hour to fill—and the shower holder was loose. Perhaps because I am tall, the futon felt short and my feet stuck out. I felt there is room for improvement in these areas. Still, thanks to the staff, it became a memorable trip. Thank you very much.

The bath was good. Breakfast had no creativity at all—on the level of Yoshinoya. The cost performance was quite poor; maybe because there’s no competition? They may be under the mistaken impression that they can charge these prices as long as the Room has a snowy-view bath.

    First Stay

I stayed at an accommodation with an onsen in Okayama Prefecture for the first time. The parking lot was spacious, but no one came to help carry my luggage upon arrival, and I had to carry it myself when leaving without any send-off. There seems to be a day-use onsen as well, and the large public bath was spacious with features like an open-air bath and waterfall shower. However, the source temperature is about 18 degrees Celsius, containing radon but lacking other ion (onsen) components. The relaxation area had three massage chairs available for 300 yen each; offering them for free might enhance the hotel's reputation. Initially, I reserved a Japanese-Western special room but was changed to Room 313—a Japanese-Western room with an open-air bath—due to hotel circumstances. The room was spacious and comfortable with a massage chair included; however: - The toilet did not flush automatically. - The air purifier required me to fill it with water (it would have been better if this were done beforehand). - The refrigerator contained only water and was placed next to the bed; opening it at night could wake someone sleeping nearby—it would be better placed elsewhere. Dinner offered a variety of dishes in generous portions; highlights included kombu-marinated cold yellowtail, baked oysters in cocotte, and chawanmushi—all delicious—though the grilled Nagi beef steak was tough. Breakfast consisted of individual plates (which felt slightly sparse in quantity and quality), along with freely available items like raw eggs, natto, seaweed sheets, bread, yogurt. Overall impression: good value for its price point!

    Fun Hotel

Stayed at the accommodation during a trip from Tokyo to Kurashiki. The activities, such as simulation golf and table tennis, were abundant and very enjoyable. The onsen exceeded expectations compared to the photos, and I was extremely satisfied. The shampoo and conditioner provided were so amazing that I bought them to take home. The service was polite and pleasant, making it an accommodation I'd love to stay at again.

    I was very satisfied.

The newly renovated room was very clean and stylish. We stayed as a group of five women, and the room had plenty of outlets, making it very convenient. The shuttle service to the station was also convenient.

An accommodation you'll want to visit again.

It was my first visit after the renovation. The Room was lovely with a lingering scent of wood, and the water facilities were especially impressive. Although the price had increased accordingly, I was able to relax as always and felt satisfied. I particularly loved the open-air cypress bath and used it multiple times. Initially, it was lukewarm, but after mentioning it, the temperature was adjusted perfectly by the time I finished my meal—such prompt service made me happy. The only inconvenience was that new bills couldn't be used in the vending machine. I'll visit again!

    Luxury Suite

The room we stayed in was the same room used for the Kurashiki Tohka Match of the Oyama Meijin Cup. It was a spacious accommodation with three rooms: a Western-style room, a tea room, and a Japanese-style room, plus an open-air bath and an indoor bath. The space was more than enough for six people (four adults and two children). Thanks to this, everyone enjoyed a luxurious and relaxing time. The staff's hospitality was also excellent.

This was my first time staying here. The Room has been renovated and is much cleaner than I imagined. I also enjoyed the course meals. I will use this service again if I have the chance. Thank you very much!

    Upon arrival at the ...

Upon arrival at the parking lot, we were warmly greeted at our car. During check-in, we were treated with local tea and sweets. Our luggage was carried to the Room for us. While the interior of the Ryokan felt slightly dated, it was impeccably maintained and very clean. The Room seemed to have been renovated and was very satisfying. The meals were delicious, and there were many types of baths to enjoy. We visited as a family, and everyone was extremely satisfied. This is a Ryokan we would love to stay at again when visiting Okayama.

    Kurashiki Yuga Onsen

It was a trip to Kurashiki after decades, and I was very satisfied with Hotel Santoka found on IKYU. The hotel was renovated this February, and we were able to relax in a room with the scent of new wood. The Onsen was also at a moderate temperature, and the water felt pleasant on the skin. Dinner and breakfast were warm and the portions were just right. Also, the autumn leaves seen from the hotel's shuttle bus were truly beautiful! Thank you very much!

    High-quality hot springs

I visited with anticipation because it was a radium hot spring. The hot spring and large bath had a charming atmosphere, and I was satisfied with the quality of the water. The outdoor open-air bath was indescribably peaceful and had a relaxed atmosphere, which was wonderful. When sending the inn's postcards, they offer a free mailing service. The person who received the postcard said, "Oh, you went to Yuga Onsen." It was nice to share the seasonal feeling. Also, the white peaches sold at the hotel reception were extremely delicious.
