    Thank you very much.

Thank you for your warm hospitality. We brought in a lot of luggage for our fishing trip and may have caused inconvenience to the staff. We also enjoyed the well-equipped amenities, including table tennis, darts, and billiards.

Fishing is enjoyable, and you can catch lots of small fish. The cave-style bath was smaller than expected and disappointing. The meals had more variety than expected, and we were satisfied. However, the Room we stayed in required using stairs to reach it, which may be difficult for guests with limited mobility.

Overall very satisfied, with a few minor points.

Room / Bath: We stayed in the “Tsukifune” Room with a private open-air bath. The in-room open-air bath is very high quality—good enough that you’ll be satisfied even without using the large public bath or the private reservable open-air baths. The cave bath was truly excellent. The sauna was also good. *Note: There are no towels provided in the sauna area, so hygiene may be a concern.* The private reservable open-air bath “Aonami”? honestly isn’t necessary (if you have an in-room open-air bath). Overall, while this Accommodation isn’t specifically marketed as an Onsen destination, I think the quality is high. That said, this is subjective, but the shower pressure is hopelessly weak. That part was a bit disappointing. Meals: We chose the “Kiwami” course—truly delicious. If you ate this meal in central Tokyo, it would definitely cost over JPY 50,000 per person just for the food. With drinks included, it would probably be around JPY 80,000 per person—in other words, enough to cover a stay here as well. Highly recommended. For breakfast we chose the “Shizuku” breakfast; honestly, the standard one would have been fine. That just means even the regular breakfast is more than good enough—I felt the added value of “Shizuku” was somewhat unclear. *One concern: without any prior notice, dining time was decided upon arrival and they were reluctant to change it.* I had planned to arrive after eating something beforehand and go fishing first before dinner, but I was told dinner was fixed at 17:30, so it didn’t work with my plan. Since I wasn’t hungry yet anyway, they managed to move it to 18:00 at most. It’s not that I disliked having it decided—it’s that if changes aren’t possible, I wanted advance notice. Fishing: Even as a beginner, it brought back childhood excitement—in other words, it was fun. The staff taught us carefully from the start and the atmosphere at the fishing spot was great. I only caught small fish (tiny ones), but for beginners it was plenty enjoyable. After dinner (because of what happened above), we started after 20:00 and had so much fun we played until nearly 23:00—amazing. Overall: I want to come back again and would confidently recommend it to friends. My only minor complaints are about being unable to adjust dining time and how extremely weak the shower pressure is.

It became a wonderful summer memory!

The hospitality was outstanding—they anticipated our needs before we even had to ask. With luxurious meals and a private bath that we could use casually, it was a truly wonderful stay. At the fishing pier, we caught a large blackfish, and they served it for breakfast as fried fish—it was incredibly delicious. The pudding we had for dessert was also amazing! If I may add one request, having larger luggage lockers at the fishing pier would make it even more convenient (I’m sorry for repeatedly troubling the front desk). Thank you very much for taking such great care of us. We’d love to visit again to support Noto!

It truly is a one-of-a-kind Ryokan.

This was my third stay, and it’s an Accommodation that makes me want to come back even from far away. Above all, the view of Kujuku Bay is outstanding—the best part is being able to see the deep blue-green sea from everywhere: the Room, the baths, and the dining area. On the day I stayed, I enjoyed a soak while gazing at the moonlit sea and stars from one of the free private baths available to anyone when vacant. I also used the paid private standing bath as a special perk, and I liked how relaxing it felt with the dim lighting. As I believe I mentioned in a previous Review, the staff’s service is excellent. It’s rare to find so many pleasant young staff members, so I looked it up and felt it must be thanks to thorough hiring and training. They are truly a valuable asset, and I hope you will continue to uphold that philosophy. The meals are wonderful—not only in taste but also in their varied presentation and creative touches that never get boring and make me want to eat them again. The private dining room is also much appreciated. That said, since I don’t drink alcohol because I want to focus on enjoying the food, it was disappointing that the only complimentary drink was hot tea and that water was only available for purchase as deep ocean water. Even compared with cities, regular water here would be delicious too, so having complimentary water would be appreciated. Also, I would like face towels at the Room sink area; bath towels are thin… And while having free drinks in the refrigerator is very welcome, I don’t particularly like that tea—standard barley tea or roasted green tea (hojicha) would be appreciated.

It was a wonderful, relaxing accommodation.

I visited by car with my husband and son on our first family trip in a while. We were delighted by the elegant lobby and lounge, beautifully decorated with flowers and furnishings, and by the stunning view of the cove from the windows. The cave-style bath we had been looking forward to, as well as the panoramic bath, were wonderfully relaxing, with silky-smooth water as we enjoyed the scenery. For dinner, we had an exquisite kaiseki course in a private dining room. We chose sashimi made from locally caught fish of the day, and every dish was outstanding—beautifully presented with impressive table settings. We also enjoyed freshly grilled fugu prepared right in front of us, along with a sake tasting. After dinner, we played darts, enjoyed wine at the bar, and went back to the baths—making the most of our stay. Our Room also had a fantastic view, and we were able to truly unwind. This is an unforgettable Accommodation that I would love to visit again.

Although many of the staff are young, their service is courteous and attentive, and everyone is a great conversationalist. The Room, the Onsen, the views, and the food were all outstanding.

    Excellent dining, service, and facilities

This time, I stayed here with my girlfriend to refresh. The meals, Facilities, and hospitality were all excellent! However, there was one point regarding fishing that I felt could be improved. After fishing on the pier, when I brought three blue-backed fish to the front desk, a staff member told me, “These are pufferfish, so we can’t prepare them. We will release them.” This was the first time I learned that pufferfish cannot be prepared. It may have been written on the application form or elsewhere, but I think it would be kinder to also explain this verbally. Also, regarding the type of fish: I thought they might not be pufferfish but horse mackerel, so I asked several times. However, the staff member repeatedly said, “They’re pufferfish,” so I couldn’t press further. It continued to bother me afterward, and when I looked up photos of similar fish, they turned out to be chub mackerel. To prevent misunderstandings from leaving either side with unpleasant feelings, I sincerely hope you will take measures such as confirming the caught fish while comparing photos by species. Even with what I wrote above, this is one of the best Accommodations for us—so much so that my girlfriend and I said we should have stayed two nights. Thank you very much.

    Supporting Noto’s Recovery

This trip was to support the recovery of areas affected by the Noto Peninsula earthquake two years ago. We were very satisfied with the Ryokan’s wonderful views overlooking Kujukuwan Bay, the beautifully prepared meals featuring Noto ingredients, and Noto’s Onsen. It may have been just bad luck, but some guests were being loud in the lobby and shared areas, which was disappointing. It might have helped if staff had reminded them to be considerate, such as lowering their voices. We sincerely hope for a full restoration as soon as possible.

    Wonderful!!!

Amazing value for money!! Considering the Accommodation Fee, the service, food, Room, and amenities are outstanding!!! The only slight downside is that while the bath itself is very nice, the chlorine smell is quite strong (open-air bath). They will cook and serve any fish you catch from the pier at dinner or breakfast—an absolute treat for fishing lovers! It’s far away, but definitely worth the trip!!

    This is my second stay.

The hospitality was excellent, and every staff member was genuinely kind. We also enjoyed delicious meals in a private dining room at a relaxed pace. You can fish from the Hotel’s pier, and at the time of our stay they said they could cook up to three fish per person. It was an Accommodation we would love to stay at again.

It was a truly memorable Accommodation.

When we had an errand in Kanazawa, my husband said, “Let’s go spend some money in Noto,” so we looked for an Accommodation in Noto and happened to find this place. We were concerned about the recovery from the earthquake damage, but the drive along the coast was smooth and comfortable. Even though we arrived about an hour earlier than planned, a young staff member greeted us with a warm smile at the parking area by the entrance and said, “We’ve been expecting you,” which truly surprised us. After enjoying coffee on the deck while looking out at the sea and completing check-in, they upgraded us “since you came from far away,” and moved us to a Room with lounge access. We relaxed in our Room overlooking a crystal-clear cove. We could also see the ocean from the Onsen. The meals were genuinely delicious—so good I wanted to say, “Please bring out the chef!” I was also impressed by how all of the young staff members were so cheerful and attentive without being intrusive. The cave-style bath I used the next morning amazed me as well. Thinking, “I don’t want to go home,” we took a commemorative photo as a lovely staff member saw us off, then headed back. I don’t know how many years it will be until then, but we will definitely return. Until then, wishing everyone good health.

    Fifth Stay

Thank you as always. People sometimes say, “You’re staying there again?” but no matter how many times I visit, I never get tired of it. The food, the views, and the staff are always wonderful, and I leave completely satisfied every time. Everyone shares great photos, but seeing is believing—so I truly hope you’ll stay and experience it for yourself.

    Good!!!!!

    It was a fun Accommodation!

The Room exceeded my expectations. The staff were very pleasant, and I felt truly comfortable throughout my stay. We chose the standard course meal, but it was thoughtfully prepared and delicious—we really enjoyed it. Next time, I’d love to try an upgraded course. The cave bath and open-air bath, as well as the views and atmosphere from the pier and lounge, were all outstanding. I would have appreciated a towel rack in the Room. We look forward to visiting again—thank you in advance for your hospitality next time.

    A memorable Accommodation.

We were very satisfied with both the view from our Room and the meals. In particular, the cave-style bath and the illuminated pier were wonderful. We could also see a school of small fish at the pier, which made us want to go fishing. Thank you for Hyakurakuso’s thoughtful hospitality.

It was a wonderful, unforgettable trip to Noto!

I stayed here for a two-person trip with a friend for the first time in a while. From check-in to dinner and breakfast, everything was in private rooms, so we could relax without worrying about others—it truly felt like a luxurious time. A new staff member kindly handled the check-in process and guided us around the property, and their sincere hospitality really warmed our hearts. The private bath, panoramic bath, and cave bath were all wonderful, and we enjoyed every one of them. The view of Kujuku Bay from our Room and the dining area was absolutely beautiful, helping us forget our busy daily lives and feel refreshed. The beer we had with our meal was exceptional as well, making our stay even more satisfying. On the way home, we also stopped by the main branch of Marga Gelato, which made it a perfect trip until the very end. We would love to visit again. Thank you so much!!

This was one of the Accommodations I had been wanting to visit, and I was very satisfied. Every dish at dinner made with local ingredients was delicious, and it was great to be able to enjoy both the private bath and the cave bath. I took a walk before breakfast, and Tsukumo Bay was so beautiful that I could have watched it forever. On the way to the Accommodation, there were some heartbreaking sights, but we arrived without any issues. We are cheering for your recovery and rebuilding. We will visit again.

I informed you by phone in advance about my food allergies, and both dinner and breakfast were outstanding—I was truly impressed. The hospitality was excellent as well. However, at checkout, perhaps because it was early and due to staff shift schedules, I felt the send-off could have been handled by someone closer to our age group… This may be my pride speaking, but I was a little disappointed that it didn’t feel like there was much sense of occasion in having been able to stay here. (Are most of your guests in a younger age group?)

The staff were courteous and left a very positive impression. The meals felt a little small even for a woman, and late-night rice balls were provided, but personally I would have been more satisfied with slightly larger portions instead of a late-night snack.

We’d love to welcome you again.

We stayed as a family of three. The Japanese-Western style room had a tatami area, so we could relax comfortably and safely even with a small child. We used the private bath and were able to soak at our own pace without worrying about others. The freshly squeezed orange juice served after the bath was delicious. Not only was every dish excellent, but the presentation was also elaborate and beautiful, making it a feast for the eyes as well. From start to finish, we received exceptionally attentive service, which made for a wonderful stay. We would love to visit again if we have the opportunity.
