Wonderful
With construction starting in September, and since we can only travel on weekdays, this was our last stay of the year. The food, the baths, and the Room were wonderful—and above all, the staff’s hospitality was exceptional in every way. What impressed us most this time was how you remembered what we discussed during our previous stay about how to serve chilled sake, and then made it happen exactly as promised. We were able to enjoy it deliciously right to the very last sip. Your prompt response truly surprised us and made us feel that you are always thinking of your guests. This is a special place for us. We are deeply grateful for this encounter, and we sincerely look forward to seeing everyone again next year.

We had a very comfortable stay.
About a 10-minute walk from Ito Station. Check-in was at 2:00 PM, but they kindly accommodated us even though we arrived about five minutes early. The bath isn’t very large, but there were few people using it, so it was comfortable. I initially felt the water temperature was a bit low, but after getting out I couldn’t stop sweating. The spring quality is excellent—you can soak for a long time. There were various comments in Reviews about the meals, but for me both the taste and portion size were very satisfying. The dried fish and dashimaki tamago at breakfast were especially outstanding. A 12:00 PM check-out is also appealing, though I’d like the bathing hours to be extended a bit later into the evening. I’ve visited Ito Onsen several times, and this is a Hotel I’d like to stay at again.

We had a great time.
The August kaiseki let us really feel the season, and we enjoyed it not only for the taste but also with our eyes. The portion of meat was just right for us. We ordered sake again this time, but… when sipping it little by little, it becomes slightly lukewarm toward the end. At some Ryokan, they serve it with ice in a container of some kind. It looks refreshing, and being able to drink it cold until the very end is the best. I’m not saying you need to improve it right away, but I hope you will consider it in the future. Sorry for such a demanding comment.. We were able to have another wonderful time this time as well. Thank you very much.

A Wonderful Time
The Shabu-Shabu Plan is truly generous. The meat was tender and there were plenty of vegetables—so much that we couldn’t finish it. The sesame dipping sauce was delicious, and the meal was outstanding. Since we visit so often, a staff member suggested, “Would you like to try the breakfast for Multiple Night Stay guests?” Even though it’s entirely our choice to come so frequently, we were really touched by this thoughtful service (they had already suggested it during our previous stay). After check-in, when we went out we got caught in the rain. When we hurried back and stepped into the entrance, they immediately handed us a towel—exactly what you’d expect here. The Room was our usual type. We love it because the TV is easiest to watch from there. It may also have been nice that there was no step up into the toilet area. We had another wonderful stay this time as well. See you again in August. Thank you for everything.

- The Japanese-style bed is nice, but because the step is low, there is a risk of misstepping when putting your feet on the floor at night. - There is no stopper for the washbasin in the bathroom, so you cannot fill it with water. - The vanity area is small. - The lighting around the mirror in front of the sink is dim, making it hard to see your face clearly.

Relaxation
We stayed here to celebrate my partner’s full recovery. We were able to relax at a leisurely pace, and it was truly soothing—exactly what we had hoped for.

The hot spring bath was excellent.
The free-flowing Onsen water has a slightly silky feel and is very soothing. Every dish at dinner was delicious, and each one was beautifully presented. With samue loungewear, pajamas, and yukata provided, there’s little you need to bring. Towels are available at the large public bath, so I could drop in anytime without carrying anything and relax as much as I wanted. The staff were all very friendly, and I had a wonderful stay. I’d love to visit again.

Thank you for your continued support.
This time, we chose a Plan with a cypress bath in the Room. It was amazing! A spacious Room, and Onsen anytime—totally addictive (lol). The meals were always delicious and very filling—completely satisfying! If you’re going to Ito, Yuki-tei is the place. One suggestion: the in-house slippers tend to catch on the hallway carpets and mats, so it would be even better if they were room shoes that cover the heel. This is an Accommodation we definitely want to visit again.

It was an excellent accommodation. I would like to stay again.
I was looking for an Onsen Ryokan that I could reach from Tokyo without a car, with the rather picky request of staying two nights but having dinner included for only one night, and they kindly accommodated me when I called. As it is a historic Ryokan, some parts of the building and Facility are a bit old, but above all the baths were clean and wonderful, and I had a very comfortable stay. I’d love to come back for another quiet getaway.

Expectations are low.
1. Room: The step down from the bed to the floor is difficult for elderly guests. The “Japanese-modern” feel relies only on recessed lighting, making the room quite dim and uncomfortable for reading. Overall, it feels damp. 2. Meals: Excellent. You can truly sense the chef’s pride and dedication. 3. Onsen: The water is very good, but the facilities overall are not comfortable to use; the gravel in the open-air bath area is puzzling. 4. Service: The female staff were very good. Some of the male staff (except younger employees) need retraining and should learn what hospitality means. A disappointing trip—hard to believe this is an annex of Gyokuhokan.

Natural-flowing Onsen hot springs and delicious meals
This was our second stay, following our visit last December. The free-flowing Onsen without circulation or chemical disinfection is the ultimate luxury and soothes you from the core. We were also able to relax and enjoy the private open-air bath at our leisure, and the temperature was just right. We truly appreciated that towels are provided in the large public bath as well. After returning to our Room, we took a break while admiring Izu’s fresh greenery—both body and mind felt refreshed. Needless to say, both dinner and breakfast were delicious, and the private dining room prepared for us this time overlooked the Matsukawa Promenade, allowing us to savor the cuisine while enjoying the view along with attentive service. The only downside was that cleaning around the stairs and window frames felt a bit insufficient. The lobby, guest rooms, and large public bath were very well maintained. Thank you very much.

The view from the Room was amazing.
The view from the Room was amazing. From the window, we could see the sea in the distance, and directly below looked like a park, with cherry blossom trees enhancing the scenery. There was also a river flowing in front of it. It was also great that the taxi fare was free. (Note) During dinner, a staff member told us that it is actually a kindergarten.

The shabu-shabu was excellent.
This time, we changed our Plan and tried the shabu-shabu Plan for the first time. It was simply amazing (lol). The vegetables were delicious, and the meat was incredibly tender. We were also surprised by the dipping sauce. My husband usually doesn’t eat it with sesame sauce, but this was the first time I’ve seen him say it was so good and actually enjoy it. It’s truly mellow—irresistible for sesame-sauce lovers. The thin udon at the end also had an excellent texture going down. We were completely full. Thank you for all your thoughtful care. We’d love to visit again.

We had an enjoyable stay even with three people.
Although it’s a bit far from the station, the free taxi Shuttle Service was very helpful, and even with heavy luggage we had no trouble at all. Located along the Matsukawa promenade, it’s in a great spot with a lovely view from the window (including a charming kindergarten), and it’s also convenient for exploring the town on foot. The Room felt spacious even with three beds, and the Onsen had a pleasantly silky feel at a comfortable temperature. We chose the “Simple” sashimi set meal Plan, and for an elderly woman the portion size was just right, so we were able to relax and enjoy our stay. If I had to mention one thing, we deducted one star because the private open-air bath (Reservation required) felt too small for three people, yet our time slot was only 30 minutes, making it difficult to take turns. It would have been appreciated if we could reserve enough time for our group (or book two slots), or if we had been informed in advance that it may feel cramped for three guests.

A small, reasonably ...
A small, reasonably priced Accommodation. Free taxi service from the station. You carry your own luggage to the Room. The slippers are the disposable type commonly found in a Business Hotel. The Room was clean; it’s not luxurious, but for the price it was more than sufficient. I had a very good impression. The meals were excellent with a wide variety of dishes—I was very satisfied. The serving staff were also very pleasant. You can choose a yukata in the lobby, and there are two types of samue in the Room. Towels are stacked in the bath area and you can use as many as you like. I was slightly disappointed that there were no drip coffee packs in the Room. Overall, I think it’s an Accommodation that offers great value for money.

The meals and the Onsen were both excellent.
Since we stayed for 3 days and 2 nights, we added dinner on the first night and breakfast on the second morning. The sukiyaki set dinner was excellent in both quality and portion size. The dining area is semi-private, so we could relax and enjoy our meal without worrying about others. We used two types of private open-air Onsen baths over both days, and both were incredibly relaxing. We really appreciated that they can be used free of charge as long as you make a Reservation. Being able to choose a yukata was a nice touch, and it was fun taking time to decide which one to wear. We would love to stay again!

Thank you very much.
The building felt a bit old, but it was well cleaned and I had no complaints. The food and service were high quality in every detail, and I could really feel the care that went into them. Thank you to all the staff for a wonderful time. My elderly mother was also very happy. I think this is a very good Accommodation.

The free taxi Shuttl...
The free taxi Shuttle Service from Ito Station was truly appreciated and felt refreshingly unique. (Speaking of Ito Station, I had just visited Atami Station as well, so I couldn’t help comparing them—there didn’t seem to be much energy in the shopping street in front of the station, which felt like such a shame!) When the taxi arrived, staff quickly came out to greet us in the Hotel lobby, which made me feel at ease. Being served tea in the lobby after arrival was also a luxurious moment. Meals were served in a space that felt almost like a private room, so we could relax and enjoy our food without worrying about others—this was excellent. The portion size was just right, and the sukiyaki was delicious. The staff were also polite and pleasant. The Onsen was wonderful too! It was such a comfortable bath that I felt like I could stay in forever. The Room is old, but it seemed renovated and was clean. The amenities were great, the bed was comfortable, and I could truly unwind. That said, there were a few spots where dust had collected on the window frames, which bothered me a little. Also, the heating/cooling didn’t work well: it took quite a while for the air conditioner to start working and I felt cold for some time; then later at night it seemed to kick in properly and became too warm instead. Adjusting the temperature felt difficult. I’ve written quite a lot, but overall it’s a wonderful Ryokan with tradition behind it. Tokai-kan is also nearby and perfect for a walk, so it turned into a great trip. Thank you very much for taking care of us!

This time, the three...
This time, the three of us—my husband, our son, and I—stayed in a Premium Room. They kindly accommodated our request to celebrate my husband’s 77th birthday, and everything was outstanding: the Room, the Onsen, the meals, and the hospitality. It was a truly memorable trip. Thank you very much. Next time, we would love to stay again with our grandchildren as well.

Relaxed and comfortable.
Check-in from 2:00 PM and check-out at 12:00 PM was a pleasant surprise. Thanks to this, we were able to fully enjoy the onsen with natural hot spring water and delicious meals in the private room. We hardly encountered other guests within the ryokan, allowing us to relax peacefully. The private bath was also excellent. However, as a couple who doesn't drink alcohol, it was disappointing that coffee, which is available in the lobby from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM in the morning, wasn't offered on our arrival day. Additionally, only tea was provided in the room; it would be great if coffee packs could also be included. When staying in Ito again, we would love to stay at Yukitei once more. Thank you very much!

I will not visit again.
Our trip to celebrate our child's first birthday was, frankly, ruined. There are countless issues I could point out. We were not asked in advance about allergies or food preferences, so we had to call and inform them ourselves. This should have been addressed during the booking process. Upon arrival, carrying luggage and a stroller, we received no guidance to our Room nor any help with our belongings—we had to carry everything ourselves. At this point, I gave up expecting any hospitality from this Hotel or Ryokan. When we entered the Room, we were shocked—there were no welcome snacks or complimentary water as indicated; even the bath was empty of hot water... After confirming with staff, for some reason unknown to us, we were moved to another Room entirely. This made no sense at all given how much luggage we had; once again, most of it had to be carried by us personally. We even ended up waking our sleeping child during the move—relaxation was impossible after that. The bath and Room size themselves might be acceptable; however, the towels provided were rough and uncomfortable. As for meals: despite informing them that raw fish would not work for us—and receiving confirmation—they still served raw fish! To make matters worse: instead of replacing a nodoguro sushi dish appropriately... they served cabbage sushi instead? Truly baffling. This was the first time I ever wanted to leave after just one night despite planning a two-night stay—it’s infuriating just recalling it all now! Choosing this Ryokan/Hotel is something I deeply regret. Even IKYU's highly-rated Reviews seem unreliable now. Extremely disappointing experience overall!

The dried horse mackerel served for breakfast is exceptional!
Breakfast included freshly grilled dried fish served at the table. The slightly charred skin was aromatic and unique, making it a delightful experience for me. It was the freshest and finest dried fish. The Onsen with natural hot spring water flow was also excellent. The saltiness reminded me of seawater when tasted, and it warmed me to the core. I enjoyed it four times, while my wife indulged in it six times...

The food was absolutely delicious.
The bath and cuisine were excellent. The woman in charge of the meals was very cheerful, provided clear explanations, and made dining a pleasant experience. I would love to visit again if I have the chance.

The bathroom is clean.
This was my first stay, and I was very satisfied with the kind service and delicious meals. The large public bath was clean, and I especially appreciated that fresh bath towels were always available in the changing room.

As an accommodation ...
As an accommodation that carries on the traditions of Tokaikan, both the hospitality and cuisine are impeccable. However, a minor concern is the quality of the indoor slippers, which are too flimsy and disposable, making walking unsafe. It is worrisome to see elderly women in workwear paired with leather shoes due to this issue, suggesting a need for improvement. Additionally, various odors in the hallways and elevators are noticeable. While the smell of grilled fish in the morning can be appetizing, it would be preferable to enjoy such aromas only during meal times. We kindly suggest improving ventilation for a more pleasant experience.

The meals are excellent.
We stayed here for a family trip. The onsen was a natural hot spring that left our bodies warm and relaxed. The hospitality was excellent, with thoughtful service throughout. Both dinner and breakfast were outstanding, featuring carefully prepared dishes. For dinner, the "Shinsakana (Sea Jewel Box)" was a highlight, while the grilled dried horse mackerel served in the morning was exceptional. Breakfast also included illustrated descriptions of the dishes, adding a thoughtful touch. The bath is a salt-infused natural hot spring that not only warms your body but also leaves your skin smooth and soft. This accommodation truly exceeded expectations. To create an upscale atmosphere, the overall lighting is kept dimmer. While this works well during meals, it made reading in the room difficult. Adjustable lighting in the room would be appreciated for added convenience.

Very satisfied with the luxurious flower field.
Check in early, relax in the large public bath, and enjoy a beer for a quick break. Before the 7 PM dinner, unwind in a private bath with the salty Onsen water. Dinner features a satisfying sukiyaki set meal. The next day starts with an early morning bath after 6 AM, followed by a hearty breakfast from 7 AM. The coffee at the lobby is delightful. The proximity of baths and dining areas, as well as the quiet atmosphere with minimal presence of other guests, were excellent points. Signing on slippers was amusing; having red or yellow options would be even better. Not noticing the air conditioning switch made it feel slightly chilly at times. I’d love to experience that rich salty Onsen again. The staff's hospitality was exceptional—thank you very much!

Not great.
I chose this hotel based on reviews, but to be honest, I didn't find it that great. The facility is outdated, and the exterior walls could use a fresh coat of paint. The room had a small TV that was hard to watch given the size of the space. The large public bath was spacious and included an open-air bath, which was excellent; however, the private bath was too hot to enjoy comfortably. The meals were very delicious. Customer service was average.
