    Relax and unwind at your own pace.

    We stayed on May 2, right in the middle of Golden Week. The traffic and bustle on the way to the Accommodation disappeared the moment we arrived—it felt like another world. We relaxed in the in-room bath to soothe our fatigue, and my wife even took a peaceful nap until dinner. Dinner, which we had been looking forward to, exceeded our expectations and left us completely satisfied. The portions and variety were excellent, and no matter how much there was, it still didn’t feel like enough with the kamado-cooked rice. (Breakfast was also outstanding.) We were able to spend our time without coming into contact with other guests. Finally, from arrival to departure, we were greeted with warm smiles throughout. Both body and mind were refreshed, making it a truly wonderful trip. We would definitely like to visit again.

    The simmered golden eye snapper was delicious, but…

    Overall, the service is not worth the price. The building is old (it doesn’t feel clean enough to be called a renovated traditional house, although it has been cleaned), the view is poor (the sea is far from shore and barely visible), and the meals are average (not commensurate with the price). The staff are not unpleasant, but they lack professionalism (service standards are not consistent). It felt as though they may not understand what level of service guests expect at this price point.

    Unwind and recharge after a long year.

    This was my fourth stay. The food was even better than before, and the rice cooked in a traditional pot is outstanding every time—seconds are a must. One of the highlights is soaking in the Onsen while listening to birdsong, and I’m already thinking about my next visit.

    I stayed at the accommodation at the end of 2025. Being on a hill, it offered a beautiful view of the sea. There were many details that reflected the owner's dedication. The scent from the chimney before meals brought back nostalgic and pleasant feelings for me. The meals were very delicious and just the right amount for us. The room and bathroom were very clean, allowing us to enjoy a relaxing time. I would love to stay again in a different season.

    Pleasant Service and Comfortable Rooms

    Arrived before 3 PM for a 5 PM check-in. Despite the official check-in starting at 3:30 PM, I was promptly assisted with the check-in process and guided to my room, allowing me to relax right away. Both the bath and meals were highly satisfying. I had read reviews mentioning narrow roads leading to the accommodation, but I was more surprised by the steep incline than the narrowness. However, I had no issues reaching by car.

    First-time visit.

    As autumn sets in, we decided to go on an Onsen trip as a couple. When choosing the accommodation, we looked for a quiet and cozy place with an Onsen offering ocean views. We found this accommodation with only five rooms and decided to visit for the first time. What stood out the most was the earthen walls; unlike typical vinyl wallpaper, it felt like the air in the room was purified, making it very comfortable. Dinner featured many small dishes beautifully arranged on a tray, and every dish was delicious. The rice cooked in a traditional stove had perfectly distinct grains and was exceptionally tasty. The indoor Onsen with free-flowing hot spring water had slightly lower temperatures but allowed us to soak longer without feeling overheated, which turned out to be quite pleasant—we bathed three times before leaving. The hostess created a warm and homely atmosphere that made us feel at ease. Above all, what left the strongest impression was the stove-cooked rice. This time we stayed without breakfast included but would love to return next time with breakfast included to fully enjoy this delightful experience. Thank you very much for your hospitality!

    We will visit again.

    I booked this accommodation for the first time, wanting to relax and soak in the onsen to recover from the long, hot summer. It was just as described in the reviews. Despite the rain, the hostess greeted us with an umbrella. The room was spotless and satisfying on its own. The semi-open-air bath was not only clean but also at a perfect temperature, allowing me to enjoy it multiple times. Relaxing on the balcony afterward, I could hear crickets at night and enjoy a stunning view of sunrise amidst light mist in the morning. The meals were delightful both in taste and presentation, with creative dishes served on charming small plates. Everything was fresh and delicious. The simmered kinmedai paired perfectly with freshly cooked rice from a traditional stove and flavorful miso soup—it was exceptional. It felt so private that I hardly noticed other guests during my stay. This peaceful accommodation allowed me to unwind quietly after a long time, making me want to visit again soon. The hostess's warm smile during our send-off made me look forward to meeting her again someday at this wonderful place—thank you for your hospitality!

    This was my first time using the service. The room was clean and comfortable. The meals were perfectly portioned for us in our 60s, with thoughtfully selected ingredients, and we enjoyed them very much. Despite the sudden reservation, they accommodated our dietary preferences. The view from the bathroom was also very satisfying. If I may suggest, extending the checkout time to 11:00 AM would allow for a more relaxed bath experience. I will visit again.     I had a relaxing and leisurely stay. The amount of food was just right, the drinks were delicious, and it turned out to be a very satisfying trip. The Onsen temperature was well-adjusted, allowing me to unwind completely. If I had to point out one issue, it would be that the TV occasionally experienced signal problems.     This was my first time using this service.

    I booked a stay with an open-air bath for a solo trip. The Room was spacious, even for one person, and I was very satisfied with the open-air bath. I had both dinner and breakfast; while the ingredients seemed good, the seasoning did not match my personal taste, which was a bit disappointing. It's a quiet and great location, so I would consider staying again if the meals suit my preferences next time.

    Very satisfied with my visit after a long time.

    During the holiday, I decided for the third time to stay at Nagi no Sho. Although the weather was bad upon arrival, they kindly accommodated an early check-in, which was very helpful. The bath was excellent, and both dinner and breakfast were exquisite. Especially the simmered golden eye snapper at dinner was so delicious that I could eat it every day. I'm looking forward to staying again!

    I stayed here to celebrate my wife's birthday! The location is at the top of a steep hill, but the view from the open-air bath is absolutely stunning. You can even hear the chirping of nightingales, making it a perfect spot to relax. We didn’t encounter any other guests and enjoyed a completely private time. The meals were truly exceptional! Dinner included sashimi, simmered golden-eye snapper, and grilled sweetfish cooked over an irori hearth—all incredibly delicious. Breakfast was also abundant with various dishes, offering a luxurious start to the day. Thanks to this wonderful experience, my wife was delighted, and it became her best birthday celebration ever!

    You can relax and unwind.

    With only a few rooms, it was quiet and relaxing without encountering other guests. The accommodation is located on a steep hill, so accessing by car can be challenging, but the view is excellent. Both dinner and breakfast were hearty and very delicious. As for amenities, I was delighted to find moisturizing packs provided. However, the shampoo made my hair feel rough, so I hope a different product could be considered in the future. I had an enjoyable trip. Thank you very much!

    The warm welcome and friendly staff made me feel at ease. The room is quite old but well-cleaned, so there were no issues. However, I was a bit disappointed to find that the tatami area near the entrance had a carpet placed over an electric heating mat. The view is excellent, and enjoying the open-air bath while taking in the scenery was truly wonderful! With only a few rooms available, it’s very quiet. This accommodation is perfect for those who want to relax in peace. The final slope leading to the accommodation is short but nerve-wracking; I just hoped no oncoming cars would appear.

    This time, I walked up from the bottom for the first time. The slope was steep, but the view was amazing. I also enjoyed a delicious meal made with local ingredients. I would love to visit again.

    It was the perfect onsen Stays for solo travelers.

    I was able to spend time relaxing and heal my daily fatigue. The room felt a bit old, but it was well-cleaned, and the open-air bath was also clean and pleasant, allowing me to fully enjoy the onsen. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious and very filling, and I ate about three times my usual amount. The rice cooked in the inn's proud kamado was especially excellent. From the welcome to the farewell, I only interacted with a pleasant woman and a man who seemed to be the head chef who put charcoal in the irori to warm the ayu, and I hardly heard any other guests, which made it feel like staying in a solitary house in the mountains, which was very nice. Thank you for taking care of me. I would like to visit again.

    It was comfortable.

    Although this type of Stays does not have a large public bath, the private open-air bath was comfortable and pleasant. I loved that the bedroom and main room were separate, allowing me to relax on the futon whenever I wanted. The food was delicious, and I appreciated being able to sample a variety of main dishes, which was great for someone like me who tends to get distracted by too many choices. The Property itself is located on a steep hill, and at least for the Room we stayed in, the stairs and open-air bath were not barrier-free, so caution is needed. However, for those without mobility issues, I think it is a pleasant Property to stay at. The quietness was also very comfortable. I would have appreciated some guidance regarding the parts of the site under construction, and since the nearest station is Izu Kyuko (Izu Kyuko) local, I would have felt more at ease if there were options for a paid Shuttle Service or information about taxis, as I was worried about getting a taxi.

    A quiet and relaxing inn

    I stayed during the long weekend. It was a small inn with only five rooms, but there was an open-air bath in the room, and I fully enjoyed the spectacular view of the sea. The meals were also satisfying, centered around fresh fish.
