Ideal for families to relax and spend time together in a spacious setting.

I stayed here on the second night of my Hakodate trip, traveling with my mother. I think this Hotel’s strengths can be summed up in the following three points. 1) A convenient location for sightseeing It’s located right between Hakodate Station and the Red Brick Warehouses, making it easy to get to either. The sea and the park by the Seikan Ferry Memorial Ship are also very close—perfect for a stroll. 2) Spacious and comfortable Rooms This is a condominium-style Hotel where you can stay as if you’re living there. The corner Room we stayed in was over 70 m², with a wide-open space and views of Mt. Hakodate. It also came fully equipped with a kitchen and tableware, which made it extremely comfortable. 3) Breakfast options you can choose freely You can choose in-room dining (Japanese or Western breakfast delivered to your Room) or eat at one of the partner shops at the morning market. This time, we had a sashimi set meal and a grilled hokke set meal delivered to our Room. Being able to enjoy a relaxed breakfast privately with my mother was wonderful. There isn’t a large public bath, but we could still unwind 충분ly while enjoying the view from the large bathtub in our Room. Hakodate is often associated with “Onsen & seafood buffets,” but I felt that this kind of calm, slightly different stay is perfect for an adults-only trip. As Diamond member benefits, we received JPY 1,000 worth of shop vouchers, discount passports for nearby attractions, and late checkout at 12:00 p.m., which made our stay stress-free until the very end. I’d love to stay again.

This is a very nice Hotel!

I stayed for two nights on my first trip to Hakodate. The view was amazing, and everything—from the service to the Room—was excellent. The Hotel also offers loaner bicycles, and there are plenty of nearby options such as car rentals and convenience stores. It’s also within walking distance of the station. There’s a morning market just a short walk away, so I had breakfast there. When I arrived in heavy rain, they immediately lent me a towel, which really warmed my heart. Even though I went in and out many times a day, they always greeted me with a smile, saying “Have a nice day” and “Welcome back.” There was no waiting for the elevator, which made everything comfortable. The Room was spotless as well. This is a Hotel I would definitely want to stay at again on my next trip. Thank you very much!

    Baron is the only choice!

Thank you for your hospitality. The parking attendants are always courteous and helpful. The Room is also comfortable, and we can relax there every time. We usually request the pet stairs by phone, but this time they were already in the Room. Thank you for your thoughtful attention to detail. We look forward to staying with you again.

    The Room is spacious...

The Room is spacious, and you can enjoy panoramic views of the ocean and Mt. Hakodate from the terrace. Perfectly located midway between the Hakodate Morning Market and the Red Brick Warehouses. “Hasegawa Store” and “Seicomart” are nearby, which is very convenient. The bathroom was easy to use, and the staff were helpful. I’d like to recommend it to others, and I’d stay here again on my next visit.

It was another great trip this year.

As last year, we stayed with my mother-in-law, who has difficulty walking, and we truly appreciated all your thoughtful support—preparing a wheelchair for us and securing a parking space right in front of the entrance, among many other considerations. The staff were consistently kind and pleasant in every respect, and we are sincerely grateful. Thank you very much. The Room was as always clean, spacious, and functional, allowing us to relax as if we were at home. The breakfast delivered from outside was delicious both Japanese- and Western-style. We also enjoyed the well-selected selection of alcohol at the shop; this year again we purchased “Kunimare” from Mashike Town and were happy to savor it slowly in our Room. We would love to stay here again whenever we visit Hakodate in the future.

    Great location.

I stayed for two nights on a trip to Hakodate. It’s close to the station, and the Room is spacious and comfortable. There is also a balcony, which was very pleasant. The bathroom has a window as well, but it’s designed so you can’t be seen from outside, which was reassuring. The front desk staff were kind and welcoming, and their service was excellent. Since no non-smoking Rooms were available, I stayed in a smoking Room, so there was a slight smell, but opening the windows made it perfectly manageable. A couple of things I noticed were an odor from the air conditioner and some mold in the bathroom. The mold was visible when getting into the bathtub area where it’s hard to see during cleaning. If those points are improved, it’s an Accommodation I would like to stay at again.

    This is my seventh stay.

This time, our main purpose was to stay at Baron. As always, the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, and we had a very pleasant stay. We brought our dog with us, and we were happy that they gave him lots of attention while we were checking in. The Room was clean, and although three of us stayed together, it was very comfortable. It was our first time ordering breakfast, and the seafood rice bowl was delicious. We didn’t request breakfast at check-in and ordered it later at the front desk, but they remembered us even without us saying our name, which really impressed us. Thank you all for your wonderful hospitality. We’d love to come back again soon. Thank you very much.

The front desk staff were very courteous. The Room was clean, and I felt comfortable throughout my stay. The location is excellent, close to the station, and I was also happy that there is a park right in front where I could walk my dog.

I stay here once a year.

This is my 3rd or 4th stay this year. I stayed in a suite on the 10th floor, and the Room was comfortable as always. The staff were pleasant and helpful, and I was very satisfied. However, breakfast is served at the morning market cafeteria, and I was disappointed to find that Suzuya has closed. I tried three other places, but the quality felt a bit lacking. One was a diner next to Ikuratei inside the market; it may be understandable since it’s run by elderly people, but the service was very poor. It involved another customer’s issue, but they apologized without even turning around—even though it was clearly the restaurant’s mistake—which was shocking. This may have nothing to do with Hotel Danshaku, but I felt it could leave a bad impression. The Hotel itself had no problems at all, so I will stay again.

This condo-style accommodation is convenient and comfortable—perfect for a relaxed stay.

We stayed for three nights in a spacious Room with a full kitchen. It’s close to the station, and I think it’s a convenient Hotel for a relaxed long stay. Even the standard Room is 41 m² and comes with a sofa and a dining table, plus there’s also a balcony, so it feels very roomy. The view was great too—you can see Mt. Hakodate, and the sea on the right. The front desk staff were very polite; it was pleasant to talk with them, and they responded promptly. Since it’s an older Hotel, some of the Facility features and specifications do feel dated, but our Room had been renovated, so we were comfortable enough. As it was a D Room, there were things like bathroom speakers and a TV, but I didn’t end up using them because I didn’t set them up myself. The bath is convenient with automatic hot-water filling and reheating at the push of a button. It would have been nice if it were an Onsen, but that can’t be helped. We only had breakfast; we ordered Western-style meals via delivery from outside. There was good variety on the menu, and the bread was delicious. It seems to be worth about 2,500 yen; however, for the breakfast you can choose at the morning market area (which felt like “foreigner pricing”), so it seemed a bit expensive compared to what you actually get. The only downside is that the supermarket is about a 15-minute walk away when buying ingredients to use in the kitchen—it felt slightly far. Thank you for taking care of us. I’d like to stay again if I have another chance.

    We stayed for two ni...

We stayed for two nights with our dog. The Room was spacious, and although our dog was allowed only in the living area, it was more than enough for our medium-sized dog and very comfortable. For breakfast, you can choose between the morning market or catering. The catering was delicious (and generous), with several kinds of pintxos-style dishes, three types of warm bread, salad, yogurt, soup, and more. On the second day, breakfast at the morning market lets you choose from several shops. The atmosphere alone is filling, but you can’t go wrong with any seafood rice bowl! The Hotel is close to the station and the morning market. The front desk staff and housekeeping team were all kind, making our stay very comfortable. Thank you!

    Highly satisfied.

They upgraded us to a spacious two-bedroom Room because there was availability. It was clean, had a kitchen, and we could truly relax. The location was great—close to the station, and the park below had cherry blossoms in bloom. The amenities were also of good quality. The only downside was that the fabric on the furniture had a slight cigarette smell, but I’d like to stay here again when I visit Hakodate.

I’ll definitely be staying here again.

After looking into various options, I made a Reservation here. Result: the Room is spacious, it’s within walking distance from the station, Secoma is nearby, and the morning market is close. So I’m definitely staying here again next time. I could also see Mt. Hakodate. It’s great that you can choose a breakfast spot at the morning market. I wanted sea urchin and salmon roe, so I had a rice bowl. I only noticed on my way out that there might be bicycle rentals lol. Next time I’d like to rent one and explore a wider area! There’s also a kitchen, so cooking could be an option too.

Enjoy a seafood feast in your Room

The front desk staff provided just the right level of service, making check-in pleasant. Since breakfast on the third morning could be arranged up to the day before, I didn’t decide at check-in. In the end, I tried all three set meals. Personally, I recommend the grilled Atka mackerel set meal—it’s filling and comes with sashimi as well. The Room was comfortable. However, some age-related wear such as peeling wallpaper and stains in the bathtub seems unavoidable. Hotels that allow smokers are becoming less common, so I really appreciated this Hotel.

If only there hadn’t been an air-conditioning issue...

We chose a Four Room so we could use the dining table and chairs for our young child’s meals. Right after entering, we noticed the living room air conditioner sounded strange, but we went ahead and unpacked and started getting our child ready for bed. Even after more than two hours, the Room still felt chilly. If it had been just one night we would have put up with it, but since we were staying three nights, we spoke with the front desk and had them check the Room; they told us we needed to change Rooms. It was our third week in Hokkaido, and with a child and lots of luggage, this happened after we had already unpacked—so an argument broke out in the family over whether to move or not. Our child was tired and sleepy as well, and the mood was terrible. In the end, Hotel staff helped us with our luggage, and it took about an hour to move. We were upgraded to a Deluxe Room, but it was hard to feel happy about it. We appreciated being lent a De’Longhi heater that warmed the Room without drying out the air, and after that our stay was comfortable. The location was good and we enjoyed being able to choose from breakfast options, but everything was overshadowed by the air conditioner trouble.

This does not appear to be a complete sentence or context for translation. Could you please provide more details or clarify?

When in Hakodate, I always choose Danshaku Club Hotel. The rooms are suite-level quality, but what stands out even more is the at-home service at the front desk. Unlike the systematic and mechanical approach of large hotels or business hotels, their warm and personal hospitality creates a family-like atmosphere that I truly appreciate. Highly recommended. The Plan on ikyu.com also helped me decide!

    Excellent Hotel

A small-scale hotel even compared to other business hotels in the area, but it boasts an excellent location just steps from Hakodate Station, right next to the Morning Market, and within walking distance of the Red Brick Warehouses. The view of Mount Hakodate from the view bath was stunning, and the room with a separate living area and bedroom was fantastic. The front desk staff were kind and attentive, making this hotel an excellent choice. It’s no surprise that this accommodation receives high ratings. I will definitely stay here again when visiting Hakodate.

    Relax and unwind.

The front desk service was excellent upon arrival, which was very satisfying. The room included a living area, kitchen, and a spacious bathroom. In addition to the living table and sofa, there was also a dining table with chairs. All necessary amenities were provided. The accommodation was clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and satisfying as well. It was an outstanding accommodation from arrival to departure. I would love to stay here again!

The bath and morning breakfast basket are included.

It took over 20 minutes to fill the bath with hot water, and even after setting the water level, it was difficult to fill it enough to soak up to the shoulders, which was inconvenient. The stains on the bathtub also caught my attention—perhaps due to aging. The Western-style breakfast seemed tailored for women. The sashimi set meal was delicious, though younger guests might find the portion a bit small. Considering the high prices, it seems understandable. The room was spacious and comfortable; however, as mentioned in other reviews, the sofa cushions were worn out. I look forward to staying again!

    The staff's service is excellent.

I stayed here on the 4th day of my trip to Hakodate. While the accommodations I stayed at during the first three nights were also excellent, I found the staff's heartfelt hospitality here truly outstanding in comparison. Not only were their greetings and smiles pleasant, but their thoughtful attention to detail made for a very comfortable stay. Lastly, even though I accidentally left something behind in my room after checking out, they kindly assisted me with warmth and care. This experience left a wonderful impression as the conclusion of my Hakodate trip. I would love to visit again. Thank you very much!

    Only the breakfast was disappointing.

The Room, amenities, and Facility were generally satisfactory. However, the seafood bowl ordered as in-room breakfast was disappointing as it was not served with vinegared rice but with warm rice, topped with seafood and wrapped in plastic for delivery. This raised concerns about hygiene. On the other hand, the Western-style menu ordered as in-room dining on another day was excellent.
