    A wonderful accommodation you’ll want to stay at again to fully enjoy Miyajima

    Our family of three stayed in the ocean-view Room “Mizuwori.” What left the strongest impression was the outstanding hospitality of the staff. From their demeanor during the Shuttle Service to their attentive care with in-room dining, everything was never stiff yet always thoughtful and thorough, making our stay truly comfortable. The Room itself was also wonderful. Recently renovated, it features a modern, refined interior while preserving a Japanese atmosphere. The sofa and massage chair were very comfortable, and above all, being able to view the Great Torii from the Room was exceptional. It’s a Room that truly makes you feel it’s worth staying overnight on Miyajima. The complimentary services are also very well provided. In particular, the rooftop space on the top floor was a lovely place to relax while enjoying views of Miyajima. It was also nice that drinks and ice cream were available free of charge—you can really feel their desire to delight guests. The large public bath was clean and pleasant to use, and at breakfast there was an appropriate amount of space between guests so we could enjoy our meal in a calm setting. Both dinner and breakfast were completely satisfying in both taste and portion size. Dinner especially—being able to enjoy it slowly as a family in our Room—became a wonderful memory from this trip. Above all, what makes Kinsuikan so appealing is its superb location. It is close to Itsukushima Shrine, the Great Torii, and Omotesando Street, allowing you not only to sightsee during the day but also easily enjoy the Great Torii at night when day-trippers have thinned out, as well as quiet Miyajima early the next morning. Cuisine, service, hospitality, and location—everything is balanced at an exceptionally high level here. This Accommodation truly made us feel glad we chose to stay overnight on Miyajima. If we have another chance to visit Miyajima again, we would definitely like to stay here again.

    A well-maintained Ryokan/Hotel that feels traditional without seeming old-fashioned

    While parts of the building have a retro feel, it has been thoroughly renovated, making it a comfortable place overall.

    It was a wonderful accommodation.

    A long-established Accommodation, but beautifully renovated; the in-Room bath was the deciding factor, so we stayed for a 3-night Multiple Night Stay. The hospitality was outstanding, and everyone was truly kind to us. The Room was spotless, the bath was spacious, and from the window we could see a beautiful sunset and the torii gate of Itsukushima Shrine—I’m really glad we chose this Accommodation. Breakfast changed each day, and with salads and drinks offered buffet-style, we were able to eat well. The upper-floor lounge is well equipped, and the library has many great books, so we enjoyed a relaxing stay. The on-site restaurant called Mametanuki is also delicious. I don’t think I’ll have another chance to visit Miyajima for a while, but I would recommend this Accommodation to anyone planning to go.

    Highly recommended.

    Dinner was served slowly in our Room, allowing us to relax as a parent and child without worrying about others. I was also impressed by the wide variety of side dishes at breakfast. In addition, the Onsen warmed my body thoroughly and was very soothing. Above all, the staff provided attentive service. I truly recommend this place. Thank you very much.

    The in-room massage chair and the bath were excellent.

    We stayed here for the first night of a trip to celebrate my older sister’s 70th birthday. We had visited Miyajima before, but this was our first time staying overnight, so we chose this Accommodation because it had great reviews and spacious Rooms. As there were three women in our group, we consulted about the meals in advance, and they kindly accommodated our requests and even prepared a red celebratory vest for my sister, which made it a wonderful memory. The Room had both a bedroom and a Japanese-style room, so it felt very spacious even for three people. My sisters especially liked the massage chair and used it many times. The in-room bath was also large and relaxing. However, only two of the four heating units seemed to work; even set to 26°C, it was cold in loungewear, and the toilet and wash area were particularly chilly. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The staff member who served dinner was professional, but unfortunately one person’s hot pot plate was incorrect—it was quite old and small (it looked like something meant for tasting). It was disappointing that this wasn’t noticed. Since dinner was served in the Room, we didn’t want to spend time calling the front desk, so we used it as is, but it dampened our mood. Breakfast was at the restaurant on the 1st floor. Even when we arrived five minutes early, the door remained closed. We have stayed at many Accommodations where things are usually ready about ten minutes beforehand, so this surprised us. We waited in the lounge until opening time, but it was very cold; a staff member later came to turn on a fan heater, but it still wasn’t comfortable enough to stay there. Breakfast felt more like what you would expect at a Business Hotel.

    Excellent location and service

    Thank you very much for having us stay. The location is excellent, right near Itsukushima Shrine, and we were able to visit the beautiful shrine many times. We enjoyed seeing it in many different ways—at high tide, low tide, during the day, and at night. We could also see the torii gate from our Room and from the rooftop lounge, which was a truly special experience. We did not book dinner, but breakfast was delicious and more than satisfying. Thank you as well for the sakura mochi and meal vouchers—your thoughtful hospitality is greatly appreciated.

    First Trip to Miyajima

    Although I hadn't requested it in advance, I happened to see a car with the Ryokan's name written on it right in front of the ferry terminal. When I asked for directions, they kindly offered to take me there, and I gratefully accepted. The staff were all friendly and warm during check-in and meals, which was very comforting. The large public bath was always kept clean, making it a pleasant experience. Every dish served was delicious, leaving us completely satisfied. Its location is within a comfortable walking distance to Itsukushima Shrine, allowing us to fully enjoy our first visit to Miyajima. This is definitely a Ryokan I'd love to visit again. This time we came as a family, but I feel it would also be perfect for solo travelers as well. Thank you so much for your hospitality; I'll look forward to visiting again!

    I had a relaxing stay.

    We stayed for one night and two days during the New Year holidays. As a family of three (a couple with a small child), we stayed in a Japanese-style Room. The Room was spacious and provided a calm atmosphere, allowing us to relax comfortably. We also had meals in the Room, which were traditional Japanese dishes prepared with great care, and they were absolutely delicious. Breakfast was also Japanese-style, served in small portions with various types of vegetables included, allowing us to enjoy many different flavors. (This might have been special for the New Year period.) The staff members were very friendly and welcoming, making our stay even more relaxing. The Room only had a shower; however, there is also access to large communal baths or private baths that can be reserved. Unfortunately, due to not feeling well during this trip, we only used the shower. The shower room was spacious and designed with traditional Japanese aesthetics that felt calming. Located about a 5-minute walk from the Miyajima ferry terminal along the seaside, it has an excellent location. Although it was just one night’s stay, we had a very relaxing time here. Highly recommended Ryokan!

    Perfect Accommodation for Sightseeing

    Stayed for sightseeing purposes. The accommodation is conveniently located just a short walk from the port, allowing us to drop off our luggage and visit Itsukushima Shrine on foot immediately. We also revisited early the next morning to enjoy various scenic views at different tide levels. Even after check-out, they kindly stored our luggage and provided thoughtful services like drinks on the terrace. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent. The location and service were both outstanding!

    My first visit to Miyajima. Since it was the off-season, I was able to relax both on the island and within the accommodation. This accommodation has a great location, and the room and facilities were wonderful. The meals, made with local ingredients, were exceptional. Above all, the staff's hospitality was outstanding, and their dedication to ensuring customer satisfaction was truly impressive. It was an excellent stay that gave me energy from both Miyajima and this accommodation. I would love to visit again!

    First-Time Trip to Miyajima

    The staff were all very pleasant and made the stay relaxing. However, due to having meals in the Room, there was a lingering seafood smell. During the meal, dozens of small insects appeared around the light above the dining table, which was unpleasant and made me feel that it did not match the price paid. I believe meals are better served outside of the Room. The location is excellent for visiting Itsukushima Shrine early in the morning, and the night view from the rooftop terrace was fantastic. Thank you very much!

    Located in an ideal spot for sightseeing in Miyajima, this accommodation offers great convenience. You can enjoy leisurely strolls around Itsukushima Shrine during the quieter times of dusk or early morning, browse shops, and spend your time freely. When we stayed in Miyajima before our sixth-grader was born, there were no convenience stores or Starbucks. Now both are available, and the townscape has been beautifully enhanced with a traditional Japanese feel—convenient yet full of charm—making Miyajima an even more exceptional tourist destination. Staying here provides a rare and unforgettable experience. The meals, especially dinner, were truly outstanding. Both the flavors and presentation stood out remarkably. The dishes featured seasonal ingredients and local specialties from Miyajima (such as conger eel, oysters, Hiroshima beef), all thoughtfully prepared with generous portions that allowed us to savor them at a relaxed pace. The live-cooked seasoned rice served from a pot was fluffy and delicious; despite being full to bursting, we couldn’t resist having seconds due to its enticing aroma and steam. Any leftovers were made into rice balls for us to take away—a thoughtful gesture that delighted our child as a late-night snack without any guilt on our part. Additionally, the "Mametanu" restaurant attached to the ryokan serves an exquisite conger eel bento box. We also tried famous conger eel bentos from other well-known shops in Miyajima and Hiroshima Station but found this one far superior in taste. This accommodation is highly recommended for its exceptional cuisine!

    The location is excellent. It is very close to Itsukushima Shrine in Miyajima, and you can also see the shrine from the rooftop. The free drinks, including beer, were a great addition. The Onsen was simple but very relaxing.

    One-night stay for a honeymoon

    We chose to make a reservation because we loved the atmosphere of the room photos for our honeymoon stay in Miyajima. It was our first time staying in Miyajima, and it exceeded our expectations. In addition to the room, there were several relaxing lounges within the facility, and the staff's hospitality was excellent. The meals were delicious, and we enjoyed a peaceful evening together. During dinner time, we could see the sunset from the open-air bath in our room—a view that will remain an unforgettable memory for a lifetime.

    Excellent Service and Hospitality

    I stayed for one night on August 25, 2025. Before my stay, I had several inquiries, and the responses were kind, clear, and attentive. On the day of my stay, I was assisted with a pick-up at Miyajima Pier, shuttle service to the World Heritage Route, and a return shuttle to the pier. The staff provided these services willingly and it was incredibly helpful. I was deeply impressed by their hospitality. Additionally, due to my own mistake, I left something behind in the room; however, they handled it wonderfully and sent it back to me promptly—thank you so much. I am 60 years old and love traveling. Over the years I've stayed at many high-end hotels and ryokans but found that this hotel's staff offered the best hospitality I've ever experienced. Their genuine desire to provide excellent service and ensure guests enjoy their stay truly shone through in their demeanor. Thank you very much for such an exceptional experience. I will definitely choose this accommodation again when staying in Miyajima!

    We stayed here for a family trip. Everything, including the facility, service, and hospitality, was absolutely satisfying. The rooftop terrace was especially amazing. Enjoying a beer while gazing at the starry sky and the Great Torii of Itsukushima Shrine offered an unforgettable experience beyond what photos can capture. The complimentary drinks were also a very appreciated service. If we travel to Miyajima again, we would definitely stay here!

    Located along Miyajima Coast Street, enjoy a stunning view of the Great Torii Gate from the open-air bath in your room. Relax in a beautiful room and savor meals served directly to your room. The meals are filled with fresh seafood, delicately seasoned, and delicious until the very last bite. Complimentary drinks are available, including alcohol in the lounge or on the rooftop—a thoughtful touch of hospitality. Shuttle Service is well-organized, and arrangements for night cruises or guides were handled with care. It was an excellent experience—thank you!

    Enjoyed.

    We stayed as a family of three, including my spouse and grandchild. The room was a clean, tatami-matted Japanese-style room with minimal decoration but thoughtfully arranged essentials, making it very comfortable. It was an ocean-facing room with a view of a red torii gate from the window. Additionally, the room had a massage chair that both my spouse and grandchild enjoyed using. Dinner was served in the room, which is rare these days, and the attendant was delightful, allowing us to fully enjoy the delicious meal. Drinks at the 5th-floor lounge and 1st-floor library were complimentary, and my grandchild happily indulged in free ice cream. Although the building itself seemed old, it had been well-renovated for comfort. The only minor inconvenience was waiting for the single elevator during peak times when guests were moving around; otherwise, everything was excellent. This is an accommodation I would recommend!

    Perfect accommodation for a girls' trip!

    We visited as a group of four high school friends. The Onsen was perfectly warm, allowing us to relax, and the rooftop terrace offered breathtaking views of the Itsukushima Shrine's torii gate both at night and early in the morning while enjoying drinks—a truly luxurious experience. The lounge provided complimentary ice cream in cups (delicious!) and mini-sized canned beer, which was a thoughtful touch. We were even told we could take them back to our room, which we thoroughly enjoyed! The meals were all delicious, and we would love to visit again. Thank you for your hospitality!

    The meals were delicious. The restaurant staff kindly provided children's tableware and orange juice, and even offered to warm up the kids' meals for us. Thanks to their thoughtfulness, we were able to enjoy our meal at a relaxed pace.

    It was a truly wonderful accommodation.

    Thank you very much for your hospitality. The cuisine, service, and everything were excellent. The room had an open-air bath with a view of a beautifully lit-up torii gate. Every dish was delicious, and upon check-in, we received a voucher to exchange for one momiji manju at a nearby partner shop.
