    I would like to stay here again.

    A girls' trip with four college friends. The front desk service, the onsen, and the greenery from the room were all satisfying. The deliciousness of the breakfast and dinner buffet was especially impressive. I ended up eating way too much! I planned and made the reservation, and my friends thanked me, saying they want to come back with their families next time. I also want to stay here again.

    I had a relaxing and elegant stay after a long time.

    I went on a trip with a friend who had been caring for their parents for many years. We were initially concerned that Hakone might be too crowded with inbound tourists, but it turned out to be a quiet and pleasant Hotel, mainly accommodating Japanese families. My friend was very pleased with the spacious luxury and tranquility of the Facility, and they enjoyed a refreshing stay in the large room.

    Family Trip

    We stayed here for a family trip. The buffet was perfect as it catered to different preferences and appetites, and everything we tried was delicious! The only downside was that the outdoor bath felt a bit small. The staff's hospitality was excellent!

    Hotel Harvest Hakone Koshien

    I always love and use this Hotel, but this time, for some reason, the dinner replenishment was delayed, and many items were unavailable. I invited my friends saying it’s a very good Hotel, so I hope you can ensure quick replenishment when items run out. Because I have used it many times, shortcomings stand out. It’s disappointing.

    Overall, a satisfactory Hotel.

    The buffet meals were delicious. Although it was a standard Room, the view of greenery from the window made for a great retreat. It would have been nice to have coffee in the Room.

    I had a pleasant stay.

    We traveled to Hakone with my in-laws. The building itself is not new, but it was impeccably clean, making our stay very comfortable. The staff were sincere and excellent. We chose a Plan with course meals, and the food was delicious with attentive service that we truly appreciated. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of dishes, so we could enjoy it without getting bored. We would love to visit again!

    Stayed to relax and unwind after three years of hard work.

    I stayed for one night and enjoyed a Japanese-Western Kaiseki meal. All the dishes were low in salt yet brought out the natural flavors of the ingredients, making them delicious. Additionally, the service staff were polite and provided clear and detailed explanations about the dishes, allowing me to enjoy both the food and drinks in a pleasant atmosphere.

    I had a relaxing stay.

    The entrance features high ceilings, offering a spacious and luxurious atmosphere. The staff provides attentive service, the Facility is clean, and the buffet offers a wide variety of delicious dishes. While the room amenities felt slightly lacking compared to other Hotels, overall it was a pleasant experience with a relaxing ambiance.

    I had a great time.

    The hotel's facilities were excellent, so despite the unfortunate rainy day, we were able to relax and enjoy the pool, Onsen, and massage chairs while admiring the beautiful fresh greenery. The kaiseki dinner was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The large shuttle bus on our way back was very convenient—I wish we had used it for our arrival as well. My elderly mother also loved it very much, so we will definitely visit again soon. Thank you for your hospitality!

    The hardest bed among all the hotels so far

    As mentioned in someone else's review, the bed in the room was the hardest I've ever experienced at a hotel. The mattress pad was thin and of low quality. Additionally, dust was noticeable and adhered to room furnishings, while the bathroom showerhead hose leaked water and seemed poorly maintained. While it's understandable that the facility is old, I wondered if improvements could be made through small efforts, such as providing water or coffee in the room, arranging cutlery, or offering laundry bags with handles. Although responses to complaints stated that valuable feedback would be considered, I personally felt there was no genuine intention to fundamentally improve services.

    Great ambiance

    My previous stay was excellent, so I decided to visit again during this period when visitor access is available. The spacious guest room that doesn't feel like a standard twin, the relaxing large public bath, and the buffet with a wide variety of options made this stay just as satisfying as the last.

    The Myth of Safety

    This time, we traveled by car from Hakone to Nishi-Izu for a 5-night stay. For our first accommodation, we chose the reliable and trusted Koshien. Thanks to this, we were able to smoothly complete the prayer ceremony at Hakone Shrine the next day. The sense of security in being able to spend time comfortably from arrival until departure is an absolute must. However, I was surprised that Harvest's reputation for absolute reliability seemed slightly tarnished this time. The issue was with the meals. Among the nearby Harvest accommodations, I always thought Hakone Koshien had the best food. But it feels like it has been getting worse compared to before. While I understand that rising costs of ingredients make this inevitable, I hope improvements will be made in the future without going into too much detail here. Through this trip, I also noticed how all accommodations are making efforts and cutting costs as part of their corporate strategies. While I am grateful for being able to receive such reliable service overall, it was a bit disappointing this time around.

    Relax at a tranquil Hotel after your hike.

    It was my first time staying here. Check-in was self-service. There were no explanations about the hotel or dining options, and I only received a paper guide for facility use, which left me a bit confused. The overall impression was "sophisticated." The welcome touches such as tiered doll displays, fresh flowers, and the garden were delightful. For dinner, I had a kaiseki meal that was meticulously prepared with attention to detail; every dish had unique flavors and creativity—it was truly impressive. I was also surprised by how quietly guests conversed during both breakfast and dinner. It seems that the strict rule against wearing slippers or hotel loungewear inside (except when going to/from the Onsen) contributes to this serene atmosphere. I am grateful to the staff for creating such a pleasant space where everyone can enjoy their stay comfortably. I would love to visit again!

    Overall, it was great.

    The hotel was simple and easy to understand. We stayed as a group of three, and an extra bed was provided. For a Multiple Night Stay, if you opt out of cleaning services, you receive shopping vouchers at checkout, which gives it a Business Hotel vibe but is quite economical, so we didn’t mind. While wearing traditional attire like "Tanzen" is not allowed in the dining area, casual clothing is perfectly fine. The buffet had just the right variety and offered a calm atmosphere. The free massage equipment in the bath area was also great!

    The meals are incredibly delicious.

    I stayed here during my hike to Mount Kintoki. The kaiseki dinner and breakfast buffet were both very delicious. The breakfast, in particular, was significantly better compared to my previous visit. The bread was crispy and highly satisfying. I would definitely love to stay here again!

    I chose this accommodation because it was convenient as the last stop for sightseeing in Hakone. I stayed with a friend, and both the onsen and buffet meals were compact and easy to use. Although the variety of dishes was limited, the taste was excellent, and we were highly satisfied. My friend, who has been very careful about meals after recovering from an illness, was especially pleased with the abundance of fruits at the dinner buffet. She mentioned that bananas are rarely served at night and appreciated their availability. The only downside was having to bring towels from our room to the public bath; it required drying them in our room for morning baths, which was a bit inconvenient. However, the hotel staff were incredibly kind—they called several taxi companies in the morning to find us a ride and provided great assistance overall. I would love to stay at this accommodation again!
