    A Mysterious Hotel

    A historic castle-like Hotel that suddenly appears in the suburbs of Yoichi. Inside, there are taxidermy wolves and bears, and although it’s spacious, there aren’t many people around. I initially thought the front desk staff might not be well trained, but they remembered my request—made before the Reservation—for a taxi and arranged it promptly. Since I stayed in a Standard Room, the amenities were disappointing, but it felt like a good old-fashioned Hotel, and both the bathroom and Room were practical and easy to use. I would prefer disposable slippers.

    Golf Reception Desk

    Prohibition notices are posted in the restroom, bathroom, open-air bath, and at the intercom. They were not put up because something suddenly broke, right? This Accommodation seems to exist for golfers. It is not a place for travelers to stay. It was the most unpleasant experience I have ever had. The parking lot was nearly empty at night but full by the next morning. From early morning, the front desk was crowded with golfers. The breakfast was so terrible that I do not even want to comment further. IKYU, please properly investigate before listing properties like this. This is far too unacceptable.

    It was disappointing.

    The moment I entered the hotel, it was dimly lit, and the front desk staff did not appear for a while, which made me anxious. There was no information about the shuttle service from Yoichi Station being a taxi, so I waited at the station for quite some time. When I called to confirm because the shuttle service was not coming, I was told for the first time, "The shuttle service is by taxi." I was even more disappointed when I entered the room. I wish I had read the reviews. As stated in the reviews, the room walls were full of stains, and the carpet was old, faded, and dirty. The room was spacious, but there was only one outlet on the dressing table far from the bed. The other was in the bathroom. The internal phone was also not functioning, and I was told, "Please make inquiries to the front desk via an external line." The exterior is eye-catching with a Western-style building, but the actual hotel was disappointing and not recommendable.

    Unfortunately

    The wallpaper in the Room is dirty. The Wi-Fi in the Room disconnects frequently. You can often hear conversations from the next Room. There is no laundry. It's a shame because the exterior is nice. This place must prioritize golf players first.
