    It was a courteous and relaxing accommodation.

    I had some errands to take care of in Kagoshima, and since I love Kirishima Onsen, my mother, sister, and I stayed here—an Accommodation I’d been wanting to visit for a long time. Although it has apparently been around for about 20 years, you would never guess it. Everything is carefully and lovingly maintained, and both the Room and the garden are spotless. The Onsen is gentle with a slight iron content, leaving your skin wonderfully moisturized. And of course, the food is delicious! Beautifully presented and absolutely superb in taste. The morning curry was truly amazing—I’d love to have it again. Listening to the birdsong was soothing in itself, and with the Onsen and meals we were able to fully relax—this was a truly restful Accommodation. Modern conveniences are also thoughtfully provided, so there was no inconvenience at all. We’ve already decided to come back in a different season, so we look forward to staying again.

    This Accommodation is very relaxing.

    Time seems to slow down during your stay, making it a soothing and relaxing place. A small number of Rooms are scattered throughout a spacious forest, letting you escape the noise of everyday life. The staff also speak in a calm, unhurried manner, which creates a wonderfully peaceful atmosphere. The Room is exceptionally well equipped, with an open-air bath, an indoor bath, a sauna, and even a footbath area. The meals are also excellent—among the best I have experienced at any Accommodation. I would definitely like to stay here again.

    I stayed here on the...

    I stayed here on the first night of my 2-night, 3-day trip to Kagoshima. The meals were absolutely delicious. I think it was the best Ryokan I’ve ever stayed at. The amenities and the open-air bath in the Room were all excellent. The staff were easy to talk to, and I felt very comfortable. When I come to Kagoshima again, this is a Ryokan I definitely want to stay at next time as well.

    A nostalgic Room and warm hospitality

    I stayed here with a friend. This Ryokan is quiet and relaxing, surrounded by a bamboo grove and pleasantly secluded from the outside world. After being warmly welcomed, you walk through the bamboo grove to a traditional old-house-style entrance. The Room is chic yet full of atmosphere—a completely Japanese-style tatami room. There is a step at the entrance, but inside the Room it was barrier-free, making it easy to walk around even for older guests. The baths seem to differ by Room; ours had both an indoor bath and an open-air bath, and we were able to unwind while gazing at the night sky. In the midst of busy days, I thought, “It’s nice to have time like this once in a while.” I really enjoyed having time to myself. Meals featured local ingredients and drinks. We enjoyed them while chatting at our own private dining room. Kagoshima is famous for Kuroge Wagyu beef and sweet potato shochu. It was described as creative kaiseki, and you could tell everything was carefully prepared. With an early Reservation you can stay for much less, so I plan to do that next time.

    I had a relaxing time.

    Thank you for your hospitality. This was an accommodation I had always wanted to stay at during a trip to Kagoshima. The food was delicious, and I especially loved the breakfast. The room was spacious with a separate bedroom, making it feel like a suite. It had both an indoor bath and an open-air onsen, as well as a sauna—truly luxurious. Although it was quite cold for spring, the onsen helped me immensely. The staff were polite yet very friendly, providing ideal service. Thanks to this accommodation, my trip to Kagoshima turned into a relaxing experience. Thank you very much!

    For New Year's, as a couple...

    The warm and friendly service from the moment we arrived was very comforting. We were very satisfied with the New Year's themed meals! We also enjoyed the bath and sauna, making it a wonderful trip for our 10th wedding anniversary. Thank you so much!

    A relaxing Stays with attentive hospitality

    We stayed as a group of four women celebrating our 60th birthdays. Since it was a detached house on a spacious property, we could talk late into the night without worrying about our surroundings. The room had a private bath, a sauna, a cold bath for after the sauna, and an open-air bath. The onsen's concentration was good, and the warmth lingered even after getting out. The room was thoughtfully equipped with mobile charging cords, a jewelry case, and a makeup mirror, which was a nice touch. The meals were all delicious, and we were impressed by the rare ingredients. The staff, of course, were excellent. We were grateful for their arrangement of a taxi for our return the next day, ensuring we could catch our train or flight on time. It was a property we would definitely like to use again.
