    A Hotel that lives up to the ANA brand.

    A clean Facility, a convenient location for getting anywhere, a relaxing lobby lounge, a varied breakfast buffet, and the hospitality of the staff in every area—all were perfectly balanced and comfortable, making our 2-night Multiple Night Stay very pleasant. And Shoko Kanazawa’s calligraphy! Thanks to all of you, my first visit to Yonago in my long life became a wonderful stay.

    It was great.

    I was surprised to find someone else being guided to my seat when I returned after getting food during breakfast. Even though there was an "in use" sign on the table and I had left my salad bowl there.

    Used for a conferenc...

    Used for a conference at the convention center. The venue near Yonago Station was about a 10-minute walk, so it wasn't too difficult to reach. Located on the main street rather than in an area with many restaurants. There is a Gusto restaurant next door and a Lawson convenience store about a 3-minute walk away. Chose this Hotel as an IHG member, but there were no special member benefits, and even in the twin room, the Room felt slightly cramped. At checkout, I had luggage and asked the front desk to call a taxi, but they simply said all reservations were full without offering to contact any taxi companies. In the end, I walked out of the Hotel and found a taxi after walking for a bit.

    The toilet lever was loose.

    As it is an old Hotel, it might be understandable, but as a prestigious Hotel, we would have appreciated more attention to the Facility.

    Visited Yonago Castle.

    My wife and I went on a trip together. We climbed up to the remains of Yonago Castle's main keep. The weather was perfect, offering a stunning view along with fully bloomed cherry blossoms as a bonus. At the Hotel, we were kindly informed about how to climb to the castle, where and when to get the castle stamp. We initially planned to take JR from Yonago to Yasugi, but the Hotel arranged a taxi for us directly to Yasugi Station, which turned out cheaper than taking the JR express fare. The breakfast at the Hotel was buffet-style, but with many foreign guests, it felt like being in another country. All staff members were very pleasant and made our trip enjoyable.

    Choosing a Hotel in Yonago is difficult...

    I often use the ANA group, so I chose this hotel for my first visit to Yonago. It has a stately appearance, but the building is quite old. The centralized air conditioning throughout the property makes it difficult to adjust room by room, giving it an outdated facility feel. As a member of the hotel group, I was provided with mineral water, but by default, there seems to be no water provision. Moreover, the home center on the adjacent lot? closes at least by 9 PM and there are no vending machines inside the property; if you return from dinner thirsty at night, you have no choice but to drink paid drinks from the refrigerator. The drink prices themselves were reasonable, but given its inconvenient shopping location, this aspect should be reconsidered. At check-in time, it's good to buy drinks early at Matsukiyo next door. It was nice that pillows could be chosen and free bath salts and eye masks or aromatherapy were provided. The customer service was calm and pleasant as expected from a major chain; however, it's slightly inconvenient being somewhat far from both the station and downtown area. That said, there aren't any other notable hotels around either so choosing accommodation in Yonago is a bit challenging...

    Heavy Snow in Yonago

    The road closures on the Chugoku Expressway and Yonago Expressway due to heavy snow have finally been lifted, and we managed to arrive! This time, perhaps due to the snow, there were relatively few guests, allowing us to enjoy a meal at Unkai after check-in and spend a relaxing time. I feel this every time: how many years old is the washlet (dare I say by brand name)? The unit bath including the bathtub undeniably shows signs of aging or obsolescence. Not only is there significant sagging in the bed mattress, but it also hasn't been rotated, causing a tilt in one direction that puts strain on the entire body and greatly disrupts restful sleep. The wear on furniture is also noticeable; these baths and beds are central features of guest rooms. How does this align with boasting brands like ANA or IGH? In Yonago, it might be acceptable as it's centered around banquets and such, but at least compared to newly opened hotels or renovated apartments that are opening one after another, isn't it about time for an update? While I understand there may be financial planning involved, how well does the general manager grasp the current situation and what measures are being considered for future improvements? I would appreciate hearing your thoughts. Additionally, upon entering the lobby after arrival, I was disheartened by a male employee who appeared to be a manager yawning widely in front of Café in The Park's entrance on the right side. Without covering his mouth or stifling it at all, it was an extremely bold yawn directed towards the lobby, and I was surprised by such lack of tension. It was quite shocking. It may have been past 7 PM amidst snow with little activity going on, but still! Even if it's Yonago we're talking about here, isn't there a need as an organization not just let things slide but tighten up discipline? It's very disappointing because both front desk staff and those at Unkai provided proper service. Having used your services repeatedly before, I candidly shared my observations hoping for further progress.

    Basically, I am satisfied, but

    I like yogurt, and I would appreciate it if yogurt sauce could be provided at breakfast. The staff suggested jam, but it becomes lumpy. Other than that, there were almost no issues.

    I always use this place before the New Year. Both the cleaning and service are perfect. I had a pleasant stay.

    It was very comfortable.

    We stayed for two nights. The clean Room, delicious omelet, nodoguro, and soy sauce-marinated squid make me want to visit Yonago again just for breakfast.

    Ideal for sightseeing

    It's a bit of a walk from the station, but you can enjoy the sights of the downtown area along the way, so it wasn't a bother. It's a shame that the bath and toilet were together, but given the very low accommodation cost, it's understandable. Perfect for sightseeing! Definitely a repeat.

    The meals were also good.

    Stayed as a couple. It was helpful to have three face towels and hand towels. Women need two towels to wash their hair at night and face in the morning, and a hand towel to wash their hands. The meals were also very delicious.

    It was a disappointing ANA brand.

    I think it's because the building is quite old, but there was a strange smell in the Room, which was unpleasant. Overall, I feel that the cost performance is not very good. The staff's service is good, and the food is delicious, which is a shame.

    Twin Room usage. It ...

    Twin Room usage. It might be the best in the Yonago area. However, the Facility is old, and the air conditioning is controlled throughout the entire building, making it difficult to fine-tune in the Room. It would be nice to modernize the Room and air conditioning, but we look forward to it in the future.

    I was able to spend time leisurely.

    It is a calm Hotel. The Room was also spacious and I was able to relax. There was a Plan for dinner for guests, and it was reasonable.

    It was a comfortable...

    It was a comfortable hotel as per the reviews. The breakfast was also delicious. However, I was a bit concerned about the placement of the drink jugs. There are six types, but they are neatly placed in 3 types x 2 rows, and when lifting them, my hand almost touched the spout of the adjacent jug. Also, since I am left-handed, it is difficult to handle when all the handles are on the right side. If there was space, I could have rotated the handle to the left, but that wasn't possible either... I think it would be even better if they could be arranged with a little more room. Also, I would be happy if they could provide unsalted tomato juice.

    Clean and the staff are friendly.

    We used this place for a family trip. We booked 3 single rooms and 2 double rooms, and we appreciated the consideration of having them close to each other. There was no Onsen, and the bathroom was a unit bath, so I would rate the bath two stars. Although I felt it was slightly aged, it was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, and the direct bus to the airport was convenient!

    Thank you always for the comfortable time.

    I always feel comfortable with the staff's consistent and balanced approach. I am always grateful for the time spent in this place, where I can relax with the magnificent Mt. Daisen and my favorite town. I also appreciate being able to enjoy both Japanese and Western menus at the café. I hope for an investment in individual air conditioning someday. Just one point, as I have mentioned several times, I would like more effort to be made so that the landscape DVDs being shown in the lobby can be purchased. I earnestly request this. I bought a book a long time ago, but the video is completely different! What is the obstacle to making them available for sale? Please enlighten me! It's hard to understand in this day and age. It's a shame because everything else is wonderful.
