    We stayed here on a family trip.

    We stayed for two nights on a family trip with four of us for the first time in a while. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of options, and everyone was satisfied. The front desk staff were very helpful, and when we passed the housekeeping staff in the hallway, they greeted us with a smile and “Good morning,” which made us feel truly welcomed. The location is also great, so we would love to stay here again when we visit Obihiro.

    The Finest Classic Hotel

    In every respect—service, rooms, cleanliness, and location—this is an outstanding Hotel. While many Hotels offer simplified service these days, it was wonderful to experience traditional Japanese hospitality here. The breakfast was delicious, made with locally sourced ingredients—so much so that I’d happily return to Hokkaido just for this Hotel. I was especially impressed by the milk tasting and the variety of cheeses. Since the bar closes early, I’ll check in earlier next time so I can enjoy it! Thank you very much.

    We stayed for three ...

    We stayed for three nights as a family of three. The room was clean, and we had no particular issues. It was very convenient, with almost direct access to the station. If I had to be picky, it would have been helpful to have a few more power outlets. (For example, when all three of us wanted to charge our phones while also boiling water.)

    I enjoyed a comfortable stay in a spacious, well-cleaned Room. The breakfast buffet also offered many delicious dishes made with local ingredients, and I was very satisfied.

    A Trip with My Daughter to Support Our Favorite Idol

    We reserved a spacious twin Room. As expected, it was bright and roomy, and we were able to relax comfortably. The Room was spotless and very clean down to every detail. The ReFa hair dryer also saved us time drying two women’s hair, which we really appreciated. The breakfast buffet was excellent—we enjoyed delicious Tokachi vegetables and meat. It was fun and unique with thoughtful touches like an automatic pancake maker and warm vegetables topped with ricotta cheese. Everyone on the staff—the front desk, restaurant, and café—greeted us with smiles and kind service. They gladly stored our luggage before check-in and after check-out, too. At the end of our stay, just before getting on the bus, I glanced at the front desk and the same female staff member who had helped us earlier gave a polite nod even though she was on the phone. It made us want to come back again. Our trip together became an even better set of memories, and I’m glad we chose this Hotel. We’ll be back.

    A Comfortable Hotel Stay

    Thank you for the courteous service from all the staff. I was also satisfied with the Room on the 10th floor with a great view. The location is truly convenient, just a 0-minute walk from the station. You can also catch the airport bus right in front of the hotel. When going out for dinner, there are many restaurants on the opposite side of the station within a 5-minute walk, which is very convenient. Breakfast lived up to its reputation as well—I enjoyed it very much. There was a wide variety of options, including seafood such as salmon roe, pork rice bowls, and more. The seating area at the very back also allowed me to enjoy breakfast at a relaxed pace. Thank you very much.

    It was comfortable.

    After a terrible stay at the Hotel the night before, I changed my plans and made a last-minute Reservation here. I’m glad I did! It’s close to the station, the Room was very comfortable, and I could relax while watching my favorite movies on TV. Breakfast was delicious, but one staff member kept walking back and forth behind and in front of me repeatedly for no apparent reason, which was quite distracting. Other than that, everything was truly comfortable—I’d definitely like to stay again, and I’d also like to try other Nikko Hotels.

    Directly connected to the station, with an excellent breakfast.

    I always stay here on business trips. Breakfast was still served at the restaurant on the second floor. I’m looking forward to the renovation on the first floor being completed.

    As expected from JAL.

    Honestly, I booked it mainly because it’s close to the station, but the Room had been nicely renovated and felt very comfortable. It was my first draft beer in a while, and it was delicious. The view from the Room also surprised me—since it was my first time in Obihiro, I didn’t expect such wide, flat land stretching out. At breakfast, I’m quite sensitive about infections these days, so thank you for kindly helping me find a seat without any hesitation.

    Elegant and refined, yet reasonably priced

    Its location—right next to the station, almost directly connected—couldn’t be better. The front desk staff were excellent, as expected. This is a city Hotel, not a business Hotel. The Room isn’t very large, but it’s not an issue. It does feel a bit dated, but it’s clean, so there’s no problem at all. I felt a level of hospitality you don’t get at a business Hotel.

    Recommended even in the off-season.

    It was reasonably priced in the off-season. The Accommodation was not crowded, so it was quiet and relaxing. The provided coffee cups are cute. The mineral water was very useful, and we also received coins for wine tasting—just a small touch, but a pleasant surprise. We didn’t use them this time, but the happy hour beer-and-snack set and the restaurant are also recommended. The breakfast buffet offers a good selection of Hokkaido specialties, and the staff are always attentive and courteous. I would like to stay here again when I visit Obihiro.

    Unfortunately.

    I really loved this Hotel. I stayed again after a while, but first of all, the sink was too high, so when I washed my face I couldn’t scoop water with my hands and ended up soaking my clothes, so I couldn’t use it and washed my face in the bath instead. As for the meals, they used to be very delicious and something I looked forward to, but it felt like there were fewer options and the quality had declined. Because I had been looking forward to it so much, I came home quite disappointed. The Room was clean, and aside from the sink, I was satisfied.

    The parking is conveniently located underground at the Hotel, the Room is comfortable, and the breakfast is excellent.

    I had previously booked another Hotel, but a few days ago, I searched again and found a Plan within my company's business trip budget limit, so I made the Reservation. The parking lot is conveniently located underground. The Room was spacious and equipped with a trouser press. Amenities were well-stocked, making for a comfortable stay. I added breakfast at check-in and purchased it. It featured plenty of ingredients from Tokachi, leaving me very satisfied and full in the morning.

    Would love to stay again.

    I stayed for one night with breakfast included for work. The location is excellent, directly connected to Times Rent-a-Car underground, and shopping can be done conveniently at the station. The room felt luxurious compared to the usual business hotels I stay at, and the meals were on a completely different level—very satisfying. I would love to stay here again if I have the chance. Being near the station, the relaxed atmosphere of the town is different from places like Tokyo, so walking distances tend to be longer. If I may add a wish, having an Onsen within the facility would make it perfect.

    It was a comfortable and reassuring stay.

    I always choose this accommodation for my business trips to Obihiro. I have no particular complaints. While it is a bit disappointing that the famous Tokachi moor onsen is not available here, unlike other accommodations in the area, the excellent location makes up for it. The facility is old but well-maintained, and I do not feel any inconvenience. I look forward to staying here again in the future. One point to mention is that I wanted to have lunch after checking out, but despite it being a weekday afternoon, the restaurant was fully booked, and I could not get a seat. Of course, it is wonderful that the business is thriving, but perhaps you could consider increasing the lunch capacity (such as opening the breakfast area). As a landmark hotel in Obihiro, I kindly ask you to consider this suggestion.

    Elegant Hotel Near the Station

    【Positive Points】 - Convenient location near the station. - Spacious and bright lobby with beautiful cardboard art in collaboration with a school. - Hotel staff at check-in were polite and elegant, giving a welcoming impression of the accommodation. - A corner in the lobby offers wine and Japanese sake for one coin, with one complimentary drink provided during check-in. - The room was compact but featured an elegant design, including wall mirrors with pendant lights on both sides. - The mugs in the room had charming Hokkaido-themed designs. 【Concerns】 - Stayed under a plan that included an online ticket for airport shops, but encountered errors when trying to receive it via the app. Despite contacting hotel staff, there was no progress after a day, so I had to reach out to the app support myself. It turned out there was likely an ID registration error on the hotel's side. While I eventually resolved it successfully through app support, it would have been better if hotel staff had followed up directly. This is an elegant accommodation conveniently located near the station. If given another opportunity, I would love to stay again in a slightly more spacious room!

    Regular Accommodation in Obihiro

    This is probably my fourth stay. The building is old, but the service and meals are always highly satisfying no matter how many times I stay. The breakfast is delicious, but I especially love the reasonably priced and tasty dinner at the restaurant. Perhaps because there are many business travelers, dining alone feels completely natural, and the staff casually engage in conversation, making me choose to dine here instead of going out into the city. The exclusive one-coin sake tasting for guests has also become one of my favorite highlights.

    I love this Hotel

    I love Obihiro and visit regularly, and I always stay here during my trips. This time, I stayed in a single room on an upper floor, which was spacious enough for solo travel with good sunlight and views, making the room enjoyable. The mattress and pillow were very comfortable, allowing me to sleep soundly, and the Refa shower was installed for a pleasant experience. If you want to enjoy an Onsen, there is a moor Onsen at a nearby hotel. If using trains or buses, leaving the room 10 minutes before departure gives you plenty of time to catch them. During my stay, I dined at Restaurant J more than once; it was reasonably priced yet truly delicious with excellent service. For other Obihiro specialties, I only had breakfast on the checkout day but it was as delicious as ever. Check-in and check-out are always smooth; thank you to the front desk staff, restaurant staff, housekeeping team for consistently providing excellent service.

    No impact.

    The Room was old but very clean, and I had a pleasant stay. A short walk takes you to the entertainment district near the station, and the carriage bar entrance Hotel, which was my destination this time, was conveniently close. However, the breakfast lacked impact. It felt like a typical Hotel breakfast you could have anywhere, and the salmon roe seemed to be trout eggs? I wished for at least one authentic item.
