    A Mediocre Hotel

    I used to love this Hotel and recommended it to friends and acquaintances. This was my first stay in a while. It was a Suite + Club Lounge Access Plan. When I spoke to a staff member in the lobby, I was told that I could use the Club Lounge, but that check-in had to be done on the first floor. The lobby was extremely crowded with a very long line. There were many international guests, and the line moved very slowly. After waiting in line for about 30 minutes, another staff member told me that check-in could also be done on the 32nd floor. ??? I checked in on the 32nd floor and was told that Club Lounge access would be available for an additional 18,000 yen. What? This is a Club Lounge Access Plan. There wasn’t even an apology. I was already exhausted just from trying to check in. The lounge food presentation is fairly standard. However, the service hours are very long—this is a highlight and something I would recommend. The staff service is reserved; it feels like nothing happens unless you ask first. Compared with luxury Hotels, it feels lacking. Check-out was also rather curt. The Tokyo Tower view and the long lounge service hours are appealing, but it has dropped to a level where I can no longer recommend it to friends or acquaintances.

    The front desk service was the worst.

    There was still a huge line at check-in, with no improvement at all. I checked in at the special counter on the left, assisted by a woman who did not appear to be Japanese. I always pay the Accommodation Tax in advance so I can leave immediately at checkout, and I settle any on-site charges as they occur. I left the Hotel a little earlier and my companion checked out. At that time, they falsely claimed we had not paid 400 yen in Accommodation Tax, and it seems they argued back and forth for over 30 minutes. In the end, my companion told them to review the check-in video footage and even offered to lend them the 100 yen coin received as change, saying that if they took fingerprints it should match the staff member’s—only then were they finally allowed to leave. There was no apology. Even though this was clearly the Hotel’s mistake, they accused us of non-payment and detained us for over 30 minutes without any apology. What kind of Hotel is this? They also demanded a Receipt for 400 yen. For such a small amount I usually don’t request one because it’s unnecessary paperwork, but that apparently made them suspicious as well. This is either an input error by the front desk staff or embezzlement—either way, accusing a guest like this is unacceptable. When you close out the register, wouldn’t there be an extra 400 yen? Is your accounting so careless that you wouldn’t even notice? Should we report this to the tax authorities? Get it together—this is a terrible Hotel.

    This was our first stay in several years since having a child. The Facility, the room, and the breakfast were all excellent and highly satisfying. I had been looking forward to seeing Tokyo Tower from the breakfast venue, but unfortunately the weather was poor, which was disappointing. At check-in, the staff did not notice that I am an IKYU Diamond member, and there was no guidance about the benefits until I mentioned it myself. As a result, the late check-out benefit was not applied smoothly and I was informed of the standard check-out time. As expected, it became extremely crowded at that time; when I mentioned this at check-out, they apologized, but overall it turned into a very disappointing stay. Because the Facility, room, and breakfast were so wonderful, it is especially regrettable that service issues—such as confirming membership benefits and insufficient coordination among staff—detracted from the experience.

    The view from the Ro...

    The view from the Room and the interior were very nice. When I entered, two things concerned me: first, there was some trash in the groove directly in front of the bathroom unit. Second, there were many cup marks (ring stains) on the table placed in front of the sofa. I understand that ring stains may not come off with just wiping with water, but they do make the space feel lived-in, so I would appreciate it if this could be cleaned. Other points I noticed were that check-in took a long time and that the staff at the front desk did not seem very friendly. It felt like there were few Japanese staff members and many foreign staff. There were few smiles, which gave a cold impression. I would like to stay again, so I hope these issues will be improved.

    The views and atmosphere are wonderful!

    Because this Hotel is located inside a park, the 360-degree views are wonderful. The open, spacious feel of the view bath is also exceptional, so I highly recommend it. Both the Chinese restaurant for dinner and the breakfast felt upscale, and we enjoyed them in a calm atmosphere. Thank you for helping make our Tokyo sightseeing trip a great one.

    Tokyo Tower up close

    I stayed here for the first time because I wanted to see Tokyo Tower up close. It was summer, but I think the winter lighting might be better; still, I was satisfied because I got to see the Infinity Diamond Veil as well. I had a Room with a view bath, but I did have some complaints: the bathtub wasn’t facing the window, I don’t usually use blinds so I couldn’t stop them at a good position, and the shampoo and conditioner were fixed in place and hard to use. Still, I added bath salts and relaxed while warming up and enjoying the night view. I had breakfast slowly at a window-side seat, but it felt pretty average. On the first day, I bought cake on the first floor and told them I would eat it in my Room, but there were no forks or anything included. It was fine since I used a spoon from the Room, but other hotels usually include them. Also, bread was being sold there too—when I asked what time they opened, they said 8:00—but when I went after breakfast the next morning, it wasn’t open. Why? Since it was a cool day even though it was summer, I enjoyed strolling around Shiba Park and going near Tokyo Tower, and with checkout at 12:00 noon, I took my time and enjoyed my Hotel stay. If I can come again, I'd like to visit to see the winter version of the lighting.

    This was my first st...

    This was my first stay at The Prince Park Tower Tokyo. At tea time, the galette was served as a tart-like cake topped with ice cream. Since galettes take time to prepare, I understand. I had been looking forward to it, but the cake was delicious as well. The food at cocktail time was also excellent, and we had a wonderful time. The Onsen was one of the highlights we were looking forward to, but two elderly women—who seemed to be members—said unpleasant things in a way that felt directed at us while we were in the bath. I was disappointed, but the male lounge staff member who saw us off the next day was outstanding, which made our stay truly wonderful overall. Thank you very much.

    What I especially appreciated was the male staff member at the club lounge. I forgot to ask his name, but his warm smile and clear, courteous explanations were excellent.

    Tokyo Skytree

    The Room had a view of Tokyo Skytree. Breakfast offered a fun selection of Japanese, Western, and Chinese dishes. The bath had adjustable hot water volume settings, which was convenient.

    It was Prince, just as you’d expect from Prince.

    This time, I splurged on an Accommodation nearby because I wanted to show my son Tokyo Tower. Right after check-in, a staff member offered to carry our luggage. It was only a one-night stay, but with a child we had extra bags and he kept asking to be carried, so it was helpful. However, as soon as we got on the elevator just a few dozen meters away, they asked, “Shall I take it to your Room?” I replied, “No, that’s okay,” and carried it myself. (In that case, you didn’t really need to carry it in the first place.) The next morning, breakfast was in a separate venue called the Premium Club Floor. When we arrived, we were told there would be an additional charge of 4,900 yen for children aged 4–6. We were also told that if we used another breakfast venue instead, adults would be charged separately as well—so we paid 4,900 yen for our child (which feels far too expensive even for an adult breakfast; for a 4-year-old it’s hard to justify). I expected something exceptional at that price, but it wasn’t particularly special and there was no kids’ menu either. It felt like the typical lounge-style setting these days: shorts and sandals are fine—just a breakfast room with a nice view. In short, it seemed like children aren’t really welcome there. The slippers in the Room were plush and very comfortable. The shower pressure was strong and great. Thank you for making the parking free thanks to IKYU. It was exactly what you’d expect from Prince Hotels—an eye-opening experience overall. Thank you very much.

    As always...

    I had another truly comfortable stay. The Room was thoroughly cleaned, with fresh, spotless linens, and a wonderful view. I ordered Room service for dinner and tried the Japanese breakfast for the first time. The timing of the service and the taste were both excellent. Above all, the food was delicious. The hospitality was also outstanding, and I was able to relax until the 1:00 PM checkout time. Thank you very much. I will definitely visit again.

    First Suite Room

    I usually stay in a Club Room, but this time I stayed in a Suite on the lounge floor for the first time. The staff at the lounge entrance were not very pleasant. When I left the lounge, they did not even nod while remaining seated. It felt as if I was being ignored. Despite staying in a suite, it was disappointing.

    Birthday Stay

    I’d been wanting to stay here for a long time. Since it was my birthday, I decided to make this trip a celebration and visited this time. The weather wasn’t great, but the view from the lounge was amazing. It was my first time seeing Tokyo Tower so close up and taking my time to enjoy it. All of the food was delicious; however, it was disappointing that both the fish and meat main dishes were served cold. They should have been freshly prepared—why were they both cold? As for drinks, the rosé was so good that I kept having it. It’s now a favorite. Unfortunately, I couldn’t see Tokyo Tower from my Room, but I was satisfied because it was a corner Room with a bath view and also had a jet bath. I requested turndown service during cocktail time after 6:00 p.m., but staff came shortly after 5:30 p.m., which surprised me. I had heard there could be some variation in timing, but I wanted to avoid having it done while I was in the Room. Still, I couldn’t really refuse and went ahead with it, though it felt a bit unsettling. This isn’t the fault of the housekeeping staff. On the plus side, in addition to the two bottled waters already provided in the Room, we received two more bottles as well, which really helped. Thanks to that, I could drink an entire bottle during my bath without worrying about running out. One thing that concerned me slightly was the lounge dress code. Honestly, I wanted to wear comfortable sneakers too, but decided against it because sneakers didn’t seem appropriate for the lounge. However, I actually saw guests visiting the lounge wearing T-shirts and shorts with flip-flops—this really surprised me. Does this lounge not have a dress code? I’ve mentioned various points above, but there’s no doubt that we had a wonderful time overall. The birthday sweets and card also made me very happy. I can’t visit often, but I’d love to come again next year. Thank you very much.

    I enjoyed my stay again this time.

    I visited looking forward to seeing how the Club Lounge, renovated last autumn, had changed. Perhaps because it was a weekday, there were plenty of seats, and I was able to relax while enjoying the view of Tokyo Tower. I was also happy to find some of the foods I had looked forward to before, such as chicken and egg sandwiches and fruit sandwiches at tea time. Cocktail time was enjoyable as well, with several individually portioned items available, and although the main dish is one plate per person, it is brought directly to your seat. When staying on the club floor, breakfast is now served in the lounge. Based on Reviews saying there is almost no Japanese food, I was worried as someone who prefers rice-based meals. However, while quantities seem limited, I was able to have a Japanese set meal this time, which was a relief. With clean Rooms that are easy to use and spacious enough, a natural Onsen in the spa area that can be used free of charge as a perk, and a location overlooking Tokyo Tower, Zojoji Temple, and Shiba Park—this remains a Hotel I truly love.

    Last-minute Reservation

    I happened to find a great-value Plan just as I was thinking it had been a while since I last wanted to see Tokyo Tower, so I made a last-minute Reservation. Despite the Obon holiday period, it felt relatively calm, but as usual there was still a line at reception, and it seemed check-in took time—perhaps due to many requests from international guests. Given the building’s age, you can notice signs of wear in the guest rooms and throughout the Facility, but everything was well cleaned and there were no major shortcomings. In the end, I was able to relax—enjoying views of the tower and taking walks around Zojoji Temple. That said, personally I probably wouldn’t choose to stay here unless it was at a sale price.

    Summer Stay

    I usually stay in winter, but this time I stayed in summer for a change. This was my 10th stay, and I have stayed on the Premium Club Floor every time. The illuminated Tokyo Tower seen from the club lounge looks crisp and clear in summer. I personally prefer the winter illumination because it feels more like Tokyo Tower. Although various services have changed over time, I really enjoy staying on this Hotel’s club floor. I was able to relax again this time. Thank you very much.

    I have been using the Club Floor for some time, and on this occasion I stayed in a Room on the 31st floor facing the expressway. This is not the Hotel’s fault, but when I tried to go to sleep around 10:00 p.m., extremely loud supercar noise from the Metropolitan Expressway could be heard about every 20 minutes. I assumed it would be temporary and put up with it, but in the end I couldn’t sleep at all until around 4:00 a.m. As this apparently happens often on weekends, please be aware.

    This is my nth time staying here.

    This was not my first stay, and the club lounge and Onsen were as wonderful as ever, so I was satisfied. However, when I arrived at the Hotel, before I had said anything, I was sternly told, “Check-in is at 3:00 PM.” I explained that my Plan included club lounge access and early check-in at 2:00 PM, and I was allowed to proceed, but there was no apology. Some guests may be dropping off luggage or asking for assistance. It was disappointing.

    My favorite Hotel in Tokyo

    I stayed in a Room with a view of Tokyo Tower. I’d been looking forward to it from the moment I decided to book, thanks to the view and how clean the Room looked. Maybe because it was so comfortable, I slept much more soundly than usual. As for the in-room dining, the Mahalo ice cream (?) didn’t suit my taste, which was disappointing. I wish I had chosen regular vanilla instead. The Japanese set breakfast came with rice that was slightly cool—maybe that can’t be helped. Still, even though I usually eat only about one slice of bread, somehow it was delicious… (With all due respect, I don’t think the ingredients were particularly special,) but I ended up finishing all the side dishes along with three bowls’ worth of rice, and even surprised myself. I stayed to celebrate my birthday, and I’m glad I chose this Hotel. I might come again next year...

    It was a cozy Room.

    Thank you for upgrading our Room; it was very comfortable and easy to use, especially with the shower booth. The location was great, making it convenient to go anywhere, which really helped. The Room was cleaned thoroughly, and the staff greeted us warmly, so we fully enjoyed our 5-night, 6-day trip. We will visit again. Thank you very much.

    The views and hospitality are outstanding!

    We had a dreamlike time with someone special! Tokyo Tower is nearby, and we’ll be talking for years about “Remember when we stayed there?” It was also my birthday month, and the extra service made it an especially memorable experience. There was a leak at the sink, but the response was truly first-class—exactly what you’d expect from a top Hotel—so it didn’t bother us at all. If I had to mention one thing, it would have been even better if the staff member who came to check the leak had removed their shoes in the bathroom. Just my personal opinion. From the bathroom, we were amazed by how Tokyo Tower looks from that angle—it was breathtaking. This Accommodation is highly recommended for making memories with someone special. We’d love to stay again next time.

    Close to Tokyo Tower

    It’s great that Tokyo Tower is within walking distance. Depending on the Room, you can see Tokyo Tower from your Room. The breakfast venue on the upper floors gets very crowded, so it’s best to go early or use the basement venue. The Room is clean and relaxing. Again, being close enough to walk to Tokyo Tower is a big plus.

    I stayed in a Room with a balcony. When I stepped out onto the balcony later, I was shocked to find cigarette butts. This isn’t the street. There won’t be a next time.

    Enjoy an adults-only getaway

    This was our second stay, also to celebrate a special occasion. The tea-time message plate, along with a card and beautifully wrapped cookies in our Room, were thoughtful touches that made us very happy. We relaxed in the lounge and took a refreshing walk around Zojoji Temple and Shiba Park. Above all, it felt luxurious to have Tokyo Tower—an iconic symbol of Showa-era Tokyo—so close, almost all to ourselves. We were also very satisfied with the staff’s hospitality. A couple of suggestions: 1) We’d love separate (two-piece) loungewear. 2) We’d love to have hot soup available at breakfast in the lounge. This is the best Hotel we want to stay at again!

    This time, everything was great.

    During my previous stay, the club lounge was under renovation and unavailable. The corner suite was spacious, but it felt a bit dated, and the Japanese-style room was rather dark, which left me with a less favorable impression. This time I stayed in a similar Room, but some of the lighting and furniture had been updated, which made a big difference. The club lounge—the highlight—was excellent; every dish was delicious and I was very satisfied. However, after visiting for meals three times the day before and twice the next day, I felt that popular items like smoked salmon and mango fruit sandwiches were no longer offered, and it seemed as though leftovers were being carried over to the next service. I went to cocktail time expecting cheese and chocolate, but neither was available—perhaps due to rising ingredient costs. All of the Mighty tea bags used high-quality tea leaves and were very tasty. The Fukujuen tea bags provided in the Japanese-style room were also high quality. If I had to mention something, I didn’t feel much effect from the bath bubbles. Since BALMUDA toasters are not operated in a typical way, I think an instruction note would be helpful. It would also be even better if drinks like Coca-Cola Zero and cocoa were available. I’m finally getting familiar with the surrounding transportation options as well, and I would like to stay again if I have another opportunity. An earlier bus service to Hamamatsucho Station would be helpful. Also, although I understand it now, at first it was a bit confusing that luggage wasn’t brought up to my Room.

    It was very good.

    I stayed here for my birthday. I was able to use the Club Floor, so I could relax in the Hotel without having to go out for meals. There is a spa with an Onsen, which is rare in central Tokyo, and everything I needed was available within the Hotel. I could see Tokyo Tower from my Room, and it was a truly wonderful space. I’d like to make this my annual birthday tradition.

    Ideal for adult travelers

    I stayed here because I wanted to stay in a Room with a view of Tokyo Tower. Unfortunately the weather was bad, but I was still impressed by the Tokyo Tower view from the Room. Although it has been renovated, the Room and the building itself felt a bit old. However, the Room was spacious and comfortable. What concerned me was that dust had accumulated on the light fixture directly above the front desk, and there was debris—or maybe insects—inside one of the lamp shades, which was very disappointing. I also mentioned this at checkout, but I was surprised to find cigarette butts on the terrace. I understand this may be an issue of guest manners, but when I opened the curtains, that stood out more than anything. The soft-type hangers in the closet have ribbons attached, but one had come off, which didn’t feel pleasant. I think it’s a good Hotel for families with children and younger guests.

    The lounge breakfast is...

    The service and the Facility were excellent. However, there were no side dishes at all that go well with white rice at the lounge breakfast. There was almost no Japanese food. I would like them to offer at least natto or pickles. It may be fine for those who prefer Western food, but it is disappointing for those who prefer Japanese food.
