    Hotel Check-out

    Even though the 2nd floor is directly connected to JR, why do I have to go down to the 1st floor to check out? There are plenty of Hotels where you can check out from your room.

    Convenient

    I stay here whenever I visit Nagano. It’s very convenient as it is directly connected to the station. After I requested a buckwheat husk pillow once, they have thoughtfully placed one in my Room ever since without me having to ask. They often have my Room ready and let me in without making me wait until check-in time, which is very helpful. Thank you as always.

    Conveniently located near the station

    The Standard Twin Room was clean and very functional. Being near the station, it was convenient for going out at night or shopping. The room had plenty of large mirrors, which were very useful. The sink and bathtub were spacious and easy to use, and the towel rack was positioned perfectly. It would have been better if the bed comforter was a bit fluffier. The breakfast menu had a wide variety of options, which was satisfying.

    First Stay with My Sister

    I have stayed in accommodations in Nagano City many times, but this was my first time at this hotel. I arrived by car. Although it was raining, I was very grateful to be able to park in the underground parking lot. I also didn’t know until now that it is directly connected to the station building, which was incredibly convenient and surprising. It was great to be able to leave my luggage and immediately go shopping for souvenirs nearby. The room was comfortable, and the bed had just the right firmness for a good night's sleep. The space above the refrigerator came in handy for making coffee or other uses. The TV screen was large and felt a bit too close, so I ended up watching from the bed instead; otherwise, everything else about my stay was perfectly comfortable. I would love to stay here again!

    Train View

    This was my first time staying at this accommodation. I was provided with a train-view room overlooking Nagano Station, which was incredibly exciting for a railway enthusiast like me. I spent my time watching the Shinkansen and parallel local lines arriving and departing from Nagano Station. I will definitely stay at this hotel again when I visit Nagano next time.

    Directly connected to the station but can be hard to find.

    The room was on the 10th floor. I stayed here for the first time after taking the Shinkansen to Nagano after work. The room was clean, but there were three bottles placed in the corner of the bathtub, which slipped and fell, causing an injury to my foot. Is there no way to fix them securely? The room wasn’t overly dry, and with an air purifier available, my throat didn’t get irritated. The bed was comfortable, and I slept well. Breakfast could be a bit more fulfilling; it felt a little sparse.

    Great location, but breakfast could be better.

    The age of the Room is understandable, but the smell in the bathroom (like sewage) could use some improvement. The Room itself is reasonable for the price, and the direct connection to the station building makes it convenient. However, breakfast was terrible. The curry and miso soup were not hot, and the porridge was lukewarm and unappetizing. I thought staying at Metropolitan would be a safe choice, but it turned out to be disappointing. A Plan without breakfast might be a better option.

    This is my regular accommodation in Nagano. It is very convenient as it is directly connected to the station. When I previously stayed here and requested a buckwheat husk pillow, they have since prepared it in the room every time I stay. Thank you very much.

    Convenient for Multiple Night Stay

    I stayed in a Deluxe Double Room. The room was spacious enough, making it comfortable even for a Multiple Night Stay with luggage. There was ample drawer storage, so I could store all my clothes for the stay without having to open and close my suitcase every time I needed a change of clothes. Being located near the station, it was convenient both for buying souvenirs and going out anywhere. If I had to point out one thing, the round table was small and slightly inconvenient. It felt cramped when placing just a few drinks and snacks on it. Round tables seem inefficient in general (though this seems common across many hotels).

    Rating: Excellent Location Concerns: - When I called regarding the check-in time, the staff said, "It is Mr./Ms. [Name], correct?" This phrasing is inappropriate when addressing a guest. Please use "It is [Name], correct?" instead. - The TV guide for the Chinese restaurant has a typo in the phrase "until 15:00," where a character seems to be missing, making it unclear. - The air conditioning was not very effective.

    Direct access to the station is essential for sightseeing trips.

    I was able to enter the Hotel immediately after getting off the Limited Express Shinano. It was very comfortable!

    You can enjoy a comfortable stay.

    Stayed for 2 nights. I have used this Hotel several times. Conveniently connected to Nagano Station and has parking available. I stayed in a double Room for single use. While not luxurious, the Room was clean, spacious enough, and had a desk large enough to work comfortably. I think it’s a very comfortable Hotel to stay at. If I had to mention one thing, it would be that I got confused about which direction the elevator was when stepping out of the Room. It would be helpful if there were clear signs (though there might already be signs that I didn’t notice).

    Very convenient.

    Traveling by private car, the underground parking at the Hotel is very convenient. The front desk service and room maintenance made for a very pleasant stay. The option to choose bed-making during a Multiple Night Stay with environmental considerations is commendable. The breakfast buffet was highly satisfying in both taste and variety. If I have another chance to visit Nagano, I would love to stay here again.

    Conveniently located near the Hotel and comfortable. It would be appreciated if skin milk, etc., were available.

    I chose to stay here again because I had stayed before and found it convenient due to its proximity to the station. As expected of a prestigious hotel, the lobby was spacious, the service was excellent, the view from the room was impressive, and breakfast was delicious. If I may make a suggestion, since this is an onsen area, it would be wonderful if rooms could have onsen water or if there were a large public bath. However, I understand this might be difficult due to cost considerations. At the very least, it would be appreciated if items like lotion or skin milk were provided in the room. I look forward to seeing improvements by my next visit.

    This is the best choice!

    I had a very relaxing stay. This place is truly the best! Having experienced the shortage of hotels in Nagano during peak seasons many times, I had almost given up and was ready to compromise this time as well. Then, by chance, I received the great news of "A room has become available!" It was such a relief. Thank you so much!

    Used for a class reunion.

    Conveniently located near the station. The Room is average, but having a humidifier is nice. Is this the balance with the price? I think it's too expensive for an average office worker to use.

    I will visit again.

    First of all, the direct connection to the station was extremely convenient. After arriving at Nagano Station, I could leave my luggage at the Hotel and go out. The next day, I could also leave my luggage after checking out, allowing me to spend the day hands-free. The Hotel had a luxurious atmosphere that was calming. It did feel a bit aged. I opted for the breakfast included, and all the buffet dishes were delicious, with a focus on Shinshu products, which was great. The lunch buffet also looked delicious. I would like to stay again.

    I was able to relax comfortably.

    As always, it is appreciated that the parking lot is located underground at the Hotel. This time, it was raining both upon arrival and departure the next morning, but we were able to load and unload our luggage without stress. The Room was positioned just right to overlook the Shinkansen platform, allowing us to watch the trains arriving and departing from the window, which delighted my train enthusiast wife. We will be happy to stay again if the opportunity arises.

    Very satisfied.

    Very satisfied. The Room was clean, conveniently connected directly to the station, and the Hotel staff were very warm. For breakfast, I enjoyed delicious Shinshu cuisine such as soba noodles, grated yam, and pickles. I will definitely stay again. Thank you very much.

    Directly connected to the station, it was extremely convenient and comfortable.

    Directly connected to Nagano Station, the entrance through the souvenir floor is quite nice. However, there is no convenience store inside the station, so it was a bit inconvenient to go across the street in front of the station. The breakfast buffet included local dishes, which were delicious and enjoyable. The Room was spacious and comfortable. I would definitely like to use it again for meetings around Nagano Station.     Recommended for business use

    The direct connection to the station is an attractive feature. The fragrance around the front desk is a bit strong, but the guest rooms are always clean and there are no issues. Since there are windows, it would be nice if they could be opened about 10cm. Ventilation is important.

    I stayed for three n...

    I stayed for three nights this time. Being directly connected to Nagano Station made transportation, shopping, and dining very convenient. The use of buses from the station's rotary was also convenient, and I always choose the Metropolitan when staying in Nagano. The amenities are minimal, but the room was clean and satisfactory.
