    Thanks to the kind dining staff, we had an amazing trip to Furano!

    I had imagined it as a Hotel for ski season, but it also had an atmosphere you can enjoy in summer. Since we stayed during the Obon holiday, it was disappointing that the baths were extremely crowded and the air conditioning in our Room barely worked, making it hot. However, even though we had a 7:00 p.m. Reservation at the Hotel’s main dining room for dinner, it was not crowded, the service was excellent, and when we shared our preferences for the wine pairing, they kindly recommended options that suited us. Thanks to that, we truly enjoyed the meal. Toward the end of dinner, they even brought us maps of Furano and Biei for sightseeing the next day and gave us detailed advice on timing, parking locations, recommended roadside stations to stop by, and tips such as ice cream inside a farm that sells out quickly and raclette cheese toast. The next day we woke up early and were able to visit every place they suggested. They also shared recommendations like tasty chicken from convenience stores in Hokkaido, and at “Furano Wine” we were able to purchase some of the wines we had with dinner—making our time in Furano and Biei even more enjoyable. Thank you very much. This has become a Hotel I would love to return to as a way of saying thanks.

    Delicious meals and an excellent bath.

    I stay here almost every year, and I especially like the excellent, delicious buffet and the spacious baths where I can truly relax. The Facility is getting old, but it is well maintained and very clean. The courtyard in the accommodation building (?) looks dirty and is covered with a sheet, which doesn’t look very nice. I think it would be great if it could be improved—such as by planting trees—to make it look better.

    More disappointing than expected.

    I was looking forward to the buffet, but while there were several kinds of milk, there wasn’t much that felt unique to Hokkaido, and the flavors were bland and not very good. I was very disappointed. Even though the front desk area is spacious, it felt noisy and unsettled with people constantly passing through on their way to the Onsen. If you ask whether I would stay again next time, I’m not sure.

    Travel to Hokkaido

    The weather was bad, so we arrived at the Hotel earlier than planned, but it was a great help that we were able to enter our Room. We chose the buffet for dinner, and there was a wide variety of dishes and plenty of desserts. Breakfast also had so many options that it was hard to decide what to eat, and we enjoyed a very filling meal. Unfortunately, it was raining at Ningle Terrace, so we couldn’t take our time looking around. We’ll save that for next time. We enjoyed the Onsen and were able to relax.

    Stunning views

    Seeing the sea of clouds was the highlight. It’s a shame I couldn’t wake up for sunrise. As for the other Facilities and services, they were neither particularly good nor bad. It was inexpensive this time, but I’d have to think twice about staying at peak-season rates. The dinner buffet was close, but both the variety and quality were a bit lacking.

    Enjoy panoramic views of Furano.

    This was our second stay. It had been 13 years since I last stayed here on a girls’ trip, but this time we enjoyed the Furano scenery at a relaxed pace from our Room as a couple. There were many group guests, so it was difficult having to wait in line for both the baths and meals. We only used the breakfast service, and I felt it might have been better before. I think this is a very good Hotel for spending a relaxing time surrounded by nature.

    Comfort as a Resort Hotel

    Because I had a great stay last time, I stayed at the Prince for one night again this time. Among Prince Hotels across the whole country, I think this one ranks among the best for service. It would be easier to use if Ningle Terrace and Mori no Tokei opened a little earlier, but I guess that’s difficult to change. I couldn’t make it to Kaze no Garden this time, but I visited it last time and it was wonderful.

    I’d like to stay here again.

    Stayed here for a ski trip. The Room was spacious, making it easy to organize our luggage. There were plenty of hangers, so we could hang up our ski wear properly. I had visited Ningle Terrace a few times in summer, but seeing it covered in snow was incredibly atmospheric. I wanted to walk the path to the bar as well, but I had hurt my foot during the day and had to skip it. There’s plenty to enjoy within the Hotel even after skiing, so it’s a Hotel that makes you want to come back again.

    Le Gaulois is amazing! I can't wait to meet the Madame!

    This trip to Furano & Biei was highlighted by dining at Le Gaulois. Everything exceeded our expectations, and the hostess's warm personality was exceptional. We visited with high hopes, but it turned out to be even better, making the trip to Furano truly worthwhile. It was great that we made two Reservations in advance. We hope to regularly enjoy the wonderful smile of the hostess and the chef's exquisite cuisine. Wishing both of you continued good health!

    I was expecting more hospitality.

    Two weeks before the stay, I emailed the Hotel to request a reservation at a restaurant in the city, but during my stay, I was told to contact the front desk instead. This was very disappointing. In the end, I made a reservation myself at the main dining room on the top floor of the Hotel and had dinner there. Thankfully, both the food and service at the main dining room were of high quality. The homemade bread was especially delicious. The sink was located behind the door of my Room, which was slightly inconvenient. The distance from the lobby to the large public bath was quite far and somewhat challenging. Additionally, it was very crowded in the large public bath, so it wasn’t easy to relax while bathing. Breakfast was buffet-style with a wide variety of dishes that were delicious. At checkout time, there were several young staff members near the lobby and entrance area who didn’t offer assistance even when they saw guests carrying many pieces of luggage; their attitude felt indifferent. This contrasted greatly with how attentive and polite front desk staff were during check-in.

    I was deeply impressed by the hospitality of the staff.

    The facility may show its age, but the exceptional dedication of the staff left a lasting impression. The Onsen changing room, despite constant use, was impeccably clean without a single strand of hair on the floor. The cosmetic bottles were always spotless, which was truly admirable. To S-san, who was diligently cleaning on hands and knees—your commitment to your work is deeply respected. Thank you so much. At the breakfast omelet station, when I requested a fried egg instead, it was prepared with great hospitality. This Hotel thrives on the outstanding service provided by each and every staff member.

    Dinner

    I made a reservation through IKYU. On the day, the front desk asked if I had reserved dinner, which was very frustrating as I was not asked about dinner reservations on the site during the reservation process. In the end, I had dinner late at 8 PM.

    A Hotel That Feels Comforting and Relaxing

    A vast property filled with colorful flowers and butterflies, simply taking a walk here is fulfilling. While it’s true that the Facility is old as others have mentioned, it is well-maintained, and the staff are exceptionally kind and attentive, making this a warm and welcoming Hotel.

    The breakfast was very delicious, especially the croissants. I was very satisfied to enjoy local specialties. It was disappointing that there was no ice machine, as I always bring my own bottle when traveling. The bath seemed quite crowded, so I used the QR code to check for less busy times before entering. Considering it is a large Hotel, this might be unavoidable.

    Guests from Country C in the bath

    This was my second stay as I wanted to enjoy the view from the room and the coffee at "Mori no Tokei" again. The route to the bath is as mentioned in other reviews, but since it was my second time, I used the elevator and got there quite smoothly. However, during this stay, there were guests from a certain country who were not present during my previous visit. Despite slippers being required to be removed at the entrance and stored in lockers, they entered the changing area with their slippers on. In the bathhouse, groups of 5-6 people ranging from children to elderly were talking loudly non-stop—it was so noisy! It wasn’t a relaxing bathing experience at all. While loud conversations in areas like the lobby are tolerable due to its spaciousness, voices echo in small spaces like bathrooms, making it unbearable. Perhaps putting up signs saying "Please keep quiet while bathing" would lead to accusations of discrimination. If you’re okay with such an atmosphere at this accommodation, feel free to book your stay—this is my honest impression. Truly disappointing. (I doubt such a review will ever be published.)

    Hotel in a Wonderful Location

    It was a busy day due to the peak season, but the guidance and assistance were clear and concise. For dinner, we had made a reservation at Le Gaulois Furano in advance, and we were given directions to the location. During this time, we discovered many charming paths nearby. We enjoyed both the meal and the conversation with the hostess. As for breakfast, we hoped for more dishes featuring local ingredients at the buffet.

    The Hotel is old but...

    The Hotel is old but not dirty. However, the meals were disappointing. Drinks took a long time to arrive despite multiple order confirmations. I wouldn't choose to stay here again.

    Please consider the pathway to the bathroom.

    We arrived before check-out time, but the staff kindly accommodated us and promptly guided us to our Room. The meals offered a wide variety and were very satisfying. Everything was delicious. The staff also engaged with us, making both breakfast and dinner enjoyable experiences. However, the bath is quite far from the Room. While it’s understandable that the location is distant, having to go down, up, down again, and use the elevator three times can be a bit tiring. It might be challenging for elderly guests to navigate this setup. It would be great if we could access it directly through the courtyard from the lobby on sunny days. Additionally, I found it difficult to walk in slippers as they were too open around the toe area. I would also prefer Room wear made of 100% cotton. Outdoor activities at your Facility were fun as well! We look forward to staying here again when visiting Furano in the future. Thank you for a wonderful time!

    We had a wonderful time.

    Surrounded by rich nature, the Facility, meals, Onsen, and service were all excellent. The unlimited servings of salmon roe bowls and crab were delicious. I've always loved Prince Hotel. Thank you very much!

    It was comfortable.

    We stayed for a Multiple Night Stay during our annual New Year's ski trip. The consistent warm hospitality and clean rooms remained unchanged from last year, allowing our family to relax and enjoy our time. The Room tends to be dry, so it might be more comfortable to use the provided air purifier and turn off the heating at night. With the significant increase in inbound guests, it is recommended to have breakfast and dinner buffets early.

    I use it every time.

    A famous Hotel that served as the setting for a drama. With a large number of rooms, you can be accommodated even in times of trouble. The Facility, breakfast buffet, and bath (though a bit far) are all at a satisfactory level. The numerous outdoor Facilities will be the ultimate entertainment for drama fans.

    I think it is a very good Hotel.

    The rooms, while showing their age, were comfortable to stay in. The Onsen, although somewhat difficult to access, was pleasant to use and left a good impression.

    It was an elegant time!!

    The surrounding terrain and maintenance conditions are very conducive to activities and create a great atmosphere. Would it be possible to consider the range of movement for wheelchair users? For those without mobility issues, it seems like a very enjoyable walk! Dinner was a choice of Western cuisine and the dishes were wonderful! After the meal, the chef greeted us, which was very warm and allowed us to express our gratitude for the meal.

    Disappointing

    There are many groups of young people and Chinese guests, which makes it feel unsettled. Many of the staff seem to be young part-timers, and I don't feel a sense of hospitality.

    I was very satisfied.

    I stayed here because it was a collaboration location with an app game. The check-in process and explanation about the collaboration were smooth, and I had a very comfortable stay. Next time, I will visit with my family without the collaboration. Thank you very much.

    I stayed for one night with my daughter. It was during the three-day weekend in September, and the price was just under 30,000 yen per person for a twin room with breakfast and dinner included. The building felt a bit old, but I think it was well-cleaned. The breakfast and dinner buffet didn't have anything particularly new, but the steak and risotto prepared by the chef right in front of us were delicious. I saw quite a few foreigners. Some people were a bit concerning in terms of manners, like taking a large amount of food (such as crab and watermelon) and not leaving enough for those behind them in line, but that's not limited to New Furano Prince Hotel, right? The bath was wonderful, with excellent hot water, and I enjoyed it very much. There was also a sauna and an open-air bath, which I thoroughly enjoyed. As many reviews mention, the distance from the guest rooms to the large public bath is quite far, and there are ups and downs (with an elevator), so it was a bit challenging for my elderly mother. There was also a leak in one spot on the way to the large public bath, so I hope it can be repaired soon. After checking out, we went to Ningle Terrace and the Garden of Wind, and the atmosphere was very lovely! If I have another opportunity, I would like to visit again.
