    Breakfast starts at ...

    Breakfast starts at 6:00 a.m., which gave me plenty of time in the morning. It must be tough for the staff, but there was a wide variety of dishes and the taste was decent. Over three consecutive days, there were only minor changes; it felt like the food might have been prepared centrally by the Prince Group. The gym had several excellent machines, and I enjoyed using it. I also appreciated that airport buses and sightseeing buses stop here.

    Casual and Convenient Prince Hotel

    The airport bus stops in front of the Hotel, which is why I chose this place. The location is excellent, within walking distance to the port and Nusamai Bridge. Both the interior and exterior have been renovated, and the elevators are fast, making high floors no issue. A microwave placed near the elevator adds a typical Business Hotel touch.

    It was my first time in Kushiro.

    I visited Kushiro for the first time in my life to see my favorite artist's live performance at Coach and Four Cultural Hall. The Hotel was about a 10-minute walk from Kushiro Station. The receptionist was very warm and welcoming, which made me happy. My Room was on the 16th floor, and the night view from the window was quite beautiful! Also, there was an origami crane placed on the desk in the Room. It made me smile. Maybe it's because Kushiro is known as "the city of red-crowned cranes"? If I ever visit Kushiro again, I would love to stay at Prince Hotel once more!

    I visit every year.

    I stay at Kushiro Prince every year. While there are other choices, considering the location and offerings, I always end up choosing this accommodation. One of the highlights is enjoying the view from the room. The high-floor rooms have clean carpets, air purifiers, and complimentary mineral water service, making them very comfortable. On the other hand, in standard rooms, issues like worn wallpaper can be noticeable. The shop had limited hours during COVID-19 but seems to have improved now. The laundry corner is convenient with plenty of washing machines available. Previously free to use, it now requires a fee. One area for improvement is the room refrigerator. It doesn’t cool well overall and has a small freezer compartment. While placing ice inside might help slightly with cooling, unfortunately, there’s no ice machine in the building or room service available for ice. Ice must be purchased at the front desk and any leftovers need to be stored there as well—this process can be quite inconvenient. I’ve mentioned this issue on comment sheets every year but haven’t noticed any changes so far. This time I chose an eco-plan for multiple night stays. At other hotels, such plans usually involve hanging towels and amenities on your door while skipping cleaning services only; however, here there was no towel replenishment included in this plan which surprised me a bit. You can request additional towels for an extra charge; however, if you’re considering a multiple night stay plan here, it’s good to keep this in mind beforehand!

    Stunning views. Perfect for a relaxing stay.

    Stayed at Kussharo Prince Hotel and had a wonderful experience. The room offered views of the Kushiro River, sunset, and night scenery—absolutely stunning. The room itself was comfortable and pleasant to stay in, though it would have been nice to have bottled mineral water provided (perhaps because the hotel tap water is drinkable). For meals, I enjoyed the breakfast buffet. Similar to Kussharo Prince Hotel, they had a milk tasting station and a hot sandwich maker, which was delightful. The seafood rice bowl featuring local Kushiro ingredients as well as fried cod and Atka mackerel were excellent. Everything was delicious and very satisfying.

    Business Hotel

    Stayed here after Saroma Lake Prince, and it's completely a Business Hotel. Even upon arriving at the entrance by car, there was no staff to guide us to the parking lot, which was a bit disappointing.

    Even though it was a course meal...

    Stayed with a plan including breakfast and dinner. As it is a Prince Hotel, I expected good service but was disappointed. The dinner course took over 30 minutes after the appetizer to bring the next dish. After prompting, it took more than an hour to finish the second soup dish. Dishes for those without reservations were served faster. Is there a shortage of staff? If so, it might be better not to offer course meals at all.

    It was a convenient and good Hotel.

    The building may be considered old, but it is well-maintained. Since the elevator is located at one end of the building, rooms on the opposite side can be quite a distance away. Guests with mobility issues may want to request a room closer to the elevator. Additionally, as it is an older construction, sound insulation might not be ideal; those sensitive to noise might prefer a newer Hotel. Personally, I was satisfied with staying in a good location for my first visit to Kushiro.

    Such a unique Room!

    The room was near the elevator, but due to the air conditioning system, it was noisy from night until morning, and I couldn't sleep. I complained to the front desk in the middle of the night, and they said they would address it, but nothing was resolved, and I couldn't sleep at all. The front desk only apologized, leaving me feeling unpleasant as I checked out. I don't think I will stay here again.

    Graduation Ceremony

    I stayed at the accommodation for attending a graduation ceremony. The staff kindly answered my questions before my stay, and during my stay, I was able to enjoy coffee in the room, making it very comfortable and relaxing. Unfortunately, due to flight arrangements, I had to check out earlier than planned. I had hoped to create memories with my daughter by having lunch while enjoying the ocean view at the top-floor restaurant and dinner while admiring the night view, but an unexpected early return made it impossible. I would love to stay at your hotel again when visiting for sightseeing. Thank you very much to all the hotel staff!

    Room is average, meals are good!

    I inquired by phone before my stay, and the courteous response was impressive. The high-floor room had a great view, and the cleanliness was very well maintained, which left a good impression. The origami crane made me feel welcomed. It's unfortunate that the bathroom is a unit bath, but having a separate wash area is a relief. The showerhead was surprisingly good. It was disappointing that breakfast wasn't a buffet, but I appreciated that all menu items were available for unlimited refills. I could choose between Japanese or Western cuisine, and I opted for Western. I wasn't expecting much, but it was surprisingly delicious! The croissant was tasty with the aroma of butter. The coffee was not great, so I thought if that were improved, it would balance things out... The restaurant had a great view of the city and felt very open. However, perhaps because of that, it was a bit cold during the meal. I recommend bringing a wrap in winter.

    The airport bus stop...

    The airport bus stops right in front of the Hotel, so I felt safe even with a late-night arrival. I arrived in Hokkaido with the desire to eat something delicious, so I came without having dinner. Since it was raining in Kushiro, I didn't feel like going outside and bought a local pork bun at the Hotel's convenience store just before closing. It was helpful to have a microwave placed nearby. The pork bun was so delicious that I wanted to buy some as souvenirs. I was impressed by the convenience store's wide selection of souvenirs. The bath in the Room felt a bit old, but the view from the window was very nice. I was impressed by the front desk staff's wonderful smile when I checked out.

    Business Hotel

    The Pirika-go bus stop is nearby, so I used it. Even though it's called a Prince Hotel, there are various types. Since it was a single room, it might be unavoidable, but the Room was small and the bed was hard, making it difficult to sleep well. As my Room faced the city side, I couldn't see the sunset I had been looking forward to. There were hairs in the bathtub. The bathroom was also small; even for someone petite like me, it felt cramped.

    The room's interior ...

    The room's interior is a bit dated, but it is spacious enough. We were comfortable as a family of three using an extra bed. There are several dining options within walking distance for dinner, which we enjoyed. We also stayed at the Prince Hotel in Kussharo, and compared to that, Kushiro seemed overpriced for the facilities offered, leaving a disappointing impression. Next time, we will choose Kussharo.

    About the parking fee

    I think the parking fee of 1,000 yen per night is expensive, and I hope for an explanation of the basis for this charge. At Obihiro Station, the hotel charges 500 yen per night.
