    Thank you for your continued support this year.

    I stay here every year when I visit Fukuyama to pay respects at my parents’ grave. When I asked the front desk at check-in if they could lend me a bucket to keep the flowers I bought for the visit in my Room, they kindly provided one, which was very helpful. There are some signs of age, such as only one power outlet by the bed, but the Room is always thoroughly cleaned and I can stay comfortably every time. I would like to continue staying here in the future.

    Fukuyama New Castle Hotel

    I stayed for one night, and my Room was upgraded to a suite. The Room was wonderful and comfortable, with a close-up view of Fukuyama Castle beautifully illuminated at night, making it an exceptional stay. All the Hotel staff were kind, and although it was my first time staying in Fukuyama, my wife and I were very satisfied. Thank you very much.

    A trusted Accommodation where you can feel at ease whenever you visit

    This is my regular Accommodation that I always use. It’s a single Room, but the bed is spacious, and I was able to stay comfortably again this time. The bath towels and other towels were very clean, generously sized, and easy to use. I booked the low-floor Plan and had a Room without a view, but the window glass had privacy screening, which actually made it easier to relax without worrying about outside. The front desk and morning buffet staff are always cheerful and provide calm, pleasant service. This Hotel offers a consistently comfortable experience every time I visit. I had a very comfortable stay. Thank you very much.

    As always, a comfortable stay

    I have stayed here many times, and I always have a comfortable and pleasant stay. I always choose the Japanese breakfast, and it is consistently delicious, allowing me to start the day in a calm and relaxing way. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

    A wonderful Hotel conveniently located near Fukuyama Station, with views of Fukuyama Castle.

    Located right in front of Fukuyama Station, the access was excellent. They also upgraded our Room, and the view of Fukuyama Castle from the window was amazing. It was convenient yet felt special, making it a very memorable stay. All staff were polite and kind, which made us feel very comfortable. We would love to stay again.

    Simply outstanding.

    I stayed for one night with No Meals Included on Sunday, December 21st. This year, I had many business trips overseas, but there is no other Accommodation like Fukuyama New Castle Hotel. Earlier this month, I stayed at a hotel in the U.S. for two nights costing 130,000 yen. Even considering the high cost of living there, it lacked amenities and services and felt more impersonal than a Business Hotel. I also stayed at Fukuyama New Castle Hotel last December. It is conveniently located near the station, reasonably priced, offers excellent customer service, has clean rooms with well-stocked amenities. What surprised me most was receiving a newspaper in the morning. In August, I visited hotels in Southeastern Europe where even tissues were not provided; however, at New Castle Hotel tissues were thoughtfully placed both in the Room and bathroom. I look forward to staying again next year. Thank you very much!

    This is the one and only place.

    I have been visiting Fukuyama almost every year for the past 10 years because I have a friend here, and I always stay at this hotel. Considering the location and quality, this is the best choice for accommodation in Fukuyama City.

    Very good Hotel.

    After check-out, we were able to leave our luggage until the departure time of our train, and we greatly appreciated being allowed to use the changing room as well. The room was always thoroughly cleaned, and the level of service was excellent. Every time we stay here, we feel that this is a well-managed accommodation with outstanding hospitality.

    A Place of Comfort

    I often use this Hotel when I return home. People say, "That Hotel is cheap!" or "This Hotel is new!" I've stayed at other Hotels a few times, but this place is still the most relaxing and reassuring for me. By the way, our wedding reception was also held at this Hotel. It's a place that reminds us of our beginnings.

    It was a very comfortable stay.

    You can enjoy a clear view of Fukuyama Castle from the window, both during the day and with its nighttime illumination. Both dinner and breakfast were conveniently provided within the Hotel during our one-night stay, and the meals were satisfying. The Japanese-style breakfast on B1F was well-prepared, with excellent service.

    Tradition is truly wonderful.

    Traditional and spacious Room. Well-maintained and clean, providing a pleasant stay. The front desk staff are very friendly and accommodating. The only downside is the small bathtub compared to the other well-equipped Facility. The view of Fukuyama Castle is an added bonus. For the Eco Plan, amenity replenishment may not be necessary.

    Availability of Parking

    It would be helpful to have a confirmation option for parking availability during the Reservation process. Although it was my oversight not to confirm this, when I arrived at the Hotel on the day of my stay and tried to use the parking lot, I was told it was full and directed to use a second parking lot. When I asked if there were available spaces in the second parking lot, they said they didn’t know. I was informed that if there were no spaces in the second parking lot, I would need to use a nearby parking facility and pay its fees instead of the Hotel's standard parking fee. This left me feeling uneasy as I headed to the second parking lot. Fortunately, there were available spaces so I could park, but it made me wonder what would have happened if it had been full. I strongly suggest adding an option during Accommodation Reservations for confirming whether or not guests will need a parking space so that such issues can be avoided in future stays. Additionally, water drainage in the bathroom seemed poor; perhaps cleaning wasn’t thorough enough. Starting from trying to park upon arrival until my stay ended with lingering unease—it left me disappointed overall. For these reasons, 2 stars. Next time I plan on staying here again, I'll make sure to confirm everything myself beforehand.

    Always satisfied whenever I visit.

    I have visited multiple times and am always satisfied. The view of Fukuyama Castle right in front is amazing, and the Japanese breakfast is very delicious. I would love to stay at this Hotel again next time. Thank you very much.

    I was very satisfied.

    The view of Fukuyama Castle from the window was breathtaking. Although the humidifier wasn't working well, the front desk staff came multiple times to adjust it and fixed it for us. Thank you very much. We stayed for 3 nights, and enjoyed Japanese-style breakfast; it was so delicious that we had it at the same place for two days. The entire Hotel was clean, and the friendliness of the staff made our stay very comfortable. Thank you!

    I had a comfortable and relaxing stay.

    I stayed here during my visit to Fukuyama for a grave visit. Although it is a long-established hotel, I was amazed that all the room facilities were spotless. I was able to relax comfortably. The breakfast was delicious, making it a very satisfying stay.

    The view was great!

    It was a sudden stay, but I was able to relax in a Room with a view of the castle! The building itself is a bit old, but the bathroom is new and clean, and overall it was good. The price was also reasonable.

    Authentic Hotel near Fukuyama Station

    I often use this Hotel when on business trips to Fukuyama. The spaciousness of the lobby and the courteous service, which are not found in a Business Hotel, are indeed calming. If you call the front desk, they will bring disposable slippers to your Room, and having a bottle of water prepared in the Room is very much appreciated. For breakfast, they make egg dishes to order, so it's nice to have a freshly made omelet. I will visit again on my next business trip. Thank you always.

    A cozy luxury Hotel

    It was a very nice Hotel. The Room was clean and luxurious, allowing for a very relaxing stay. You can even see the castle from the window... I will stay at this Hotel again if I have the opportunity to visit Fukuyama.

    Regrettably

    I love Japanese cuisine and went to the restaurant on B1, but it was disappointing. We ordered several dishes including sashimi, shabu-shabu, black edamame, chawanmushi, and dobinmushi, but except for the sashimi and shabu-shabu, they were not delicious. The basic dashi was not tasty. Also, the service was not good, possibly because it was handled by part-time staff. It was unfortunate because otherwise, it is an excellent Hotel.

    A castle from the window!

    I stayed for the first time to watch a play. There are many convenience stores, restaurants, and shops in front of the station. The room was pleasant, and at night, the illuminated castle was right in front of the window. The food was also delicious.

    This is my regular Stays in Fukuyama.

    Every time I visit my parents' grave, I stay here. I've been using this hotel since I was a child, brought by my parents, so it's an old hotel, but the room is well cleaned, so the age doesn't bother me. It's convenient in front of the station and has parking, so I want to continue using it in the future.

    Fukuyama New Castle Hotel

    I always choose this property as my regular stay when traveling to the Okayama area. I appreciate the consistently high level of service and the calm atmosphere. This time, I stayed in a renovated room on the 11th floor, which seemed to be on the castle side, and I was able to enjoy a clean and quiet environment. The exclusive discounts for hotel guests at the restaurant and bar are also convenient, so I make use of them.
