    Hospitality

    The Room staff were very friendly and attentive to every detail, and although we were traveling with my parents in their 90s, we had a comfortable stay. It was also great that the bath was available 24 hours a day.

    The meals were delicious, the onsen was relaxing, and it was an excellent accommodation. I would love to stay here again.

    Relaxing Accommodation

    The hostess and staff were very kind, making it a truly wonderful summer vacation memory. The calm atmosphere unique to a small accommodation and the carefully prepared meals were very soothing. It may not suit those who prioritize luxury or sophistication, but I think it's a lovely accommodation with great cost performance. Personally, I wish there was a sauna and water balloons. I hope traditional ryokans like this will continue to thrive in the future. Thank you very much!

    Second Visit

    Last time, I stayed during a snowy winter and was so impressed by the quality of the hot spring water, the delicious cuisine, and the heartfelt hospitality at this accommodation that I decided to return. This time, during the fresh green season, I was able to spend a truly refreshing and peaceful time. The meals—both dinner and breakfast—were exquisite and satisfying with their delicate flavors. The generous portion of Hida beef was also surprising. The rice was incredibly delicious as well, allowing me to fully enjoy seasonal dishes. The bathwater felt amazing, and thanks to frequent cleaning, it was always pleasant to use no matter when I went in. Although on a map it may seem far from the station, this ryokan is actually at a perfect distance for enjoying a leisurely stroll past souvenir shops along the way. Being slightly away from the station also makes for a more tranquil stay. I am already looking forward to my next visit! Thank you very much!

    I had a wonderful time.

    The building, which doesn't seem to be new, was well-maintained (I think it has been renovated) and very clean. The room was comfortable, and the meals were both visually appealing and delicious. If I have the opportunity to visit Gero Onsen again, I would like to stay at this inn.
