    That’s disappointing.

It was a disappointing Accommodation. First, at check-in, the staff said my Room number out loud. These days, for security reasons, it’s common sense not to say it in a way others can hear. Also, when I went to the dinner restaurant at the time specified by the Hotel, it still wasn’t open and I had to go to the front desk. They apologized, but I was surprised that the restaurant wasn’t open. The Onsen water in the large public bath (moor Onsen) was good. Even after paying over 50,000 yen, this level felt disappointing these days.

It was even better than I expected.

Since there were no vacancies at other facilities, I made a Reservation. I wasn’t expecting much because it wasn’t a high-priced property, but the meals and the view from the restaurant were wonderful. However, the coffee machine used powdered milk and it tasted terrible. I’d like to visit again if I have the chance.

I had to go to Obihi...

I had to go to Obihiro on short notice and looked for Accommodation, but only very expensive Rooms were left near the station. Since I had a rental car, I made a Reservation here a little farther away. The building has been carefully renovated, and the buffet offers a wide variety of dishes—especially recommended are the raclette and the homemade dressing. I could even enjoy a seafood bowl in the morning. The Onsen is also spacious. Choosing this place was absolutely the right decision.

    I’ve gained weight.

Located in front of the Tokachi River. We enjoyed a walk to the Hakucho Bridge while watching a beautiful sunset, then relaxed in the brown-colored hot-spring bath (including a lying-down bath and an open-air bath) before heading to dinner. Dinner was buffet-style, so we didn’t expect much, but everything was delicious and we ate too much. Alcoholic drinks were included in the price, and we enjoyed draft beer, sake, and wine. We started with beer, then had salad and piping-hot zangi (Japanese fried chicken) to take a breather. After that came rich sujiko (salmon roe), flavorful black soybean tofu, pork sukiyaki hot pot cooked in an iron pot with sake, local beef steak with red wine; for the meal we had squid nigiri sushi and soba noodles; for dessert we had soft-serve ice cream and fruit. They focus on local ingredients, and everything was excellent. Breakfast is also buffet-style—seafood rice bowl with plenty of salmon roe and sweet shrimp, buttered potatoes, soy sauce–marinated yam, black soybean natto, etc.—again so good we felt completely stuffed. The Room had a daybed, and it felt great to drink coffee while looking out at the Tokachi River. There were some closed Ryokan inns and restaurants nearby that have gone out of business, but I hope they can keep this Ryokan going. Note that there is no greeting on arrival or send-off at departure, but the staff were kind and helpful.

Poor handling of issues when problems arise.

This Accommodation used to be our favorite—we loved it so much we stayed every year until we had children. We had the chance to return this time for the first time in 7–8 years. We had the buffet for both dinner and breakfast, and everything was delicious—we were very satisfied. However, After dinner, I was taking a shower in our Room when the hot water suddenly stopped. When I told my companion, they said there was no hot water at the sink either. I waited for a while covered in soap, but it showed no sign of coming back... With no choice, I rinsed off using the hot water from the open-air bath in the guest Room and called the front desk. They said they would come to check, but no one came even after a long wait. The hot water eventually returned on its own, so I informed the front desk—but there was no apology or explanation at all. It wasn’t just low water pressure; it stopped completely. To receive neither an apology nor an explanation is unacceptable. This is also my first time ever experiencing a loss of hot water at an Accommodation. I got into the open-air bath in our guest Room to warm up, but that water was lukewarm as well... I ended up going home with a cold. Since this was our beloved Accommodation after several years—and we booked a Room with an open-air bath specifically to enjoy the Moor Onsen—it honestly became a very disappointing memory... The Accommodation itself is truly wonderful and I would like to visit again, but it’s scary thinking that the hot water might stop again.

A Wonderful Start to the New Year

Stayed at the accommodation to celebrate my son's new job. Thank you for the wonderful cake we ordered. It became a great memory. The room lighting felt a bit dim.

    Thank you!

This was my second stay. The breakfast and dinner buffets had average ingredients. The executive lounge was lovely, but the selection of snacks was limited. The newly renovated room was very comfortable and satisfying.

Relax in our soothing hot springs and enjoy a comfortable stay in our dog-friendly rooms.

The staff's service is excellent, and I have stayed here multiple times and would love to stay again. While dinner might be slightly less impressive compared to breakfast, there are plenty of dishes, and they are delicious. The Onsen water is exceptional. It can be a bit inconvenient to bring towels and bath towels from the room, but you get used to it. The outdoor bath in the morning is also fantastic. The rooms are exclusively for guests with dogs, but our dogs were comfortable, slept well, and got used to staying in their cages when we were out. You can hardly hear other dogs barking from other rooms. The interior is very clean and equipped with toys, lint rollers, food bowls, bed sheets, and disposable wet towels. This time around, the staff was accommodating with our arrival time flexibility and even helped us when we forgot something—truly thoughtful service!

    Considering Tokyo’s price levels...

Raclette cheese was served at dinner and it was very delicious. I even had it twice. However, although there were various menu items, considering the price, I wonder if this is about average for the Obihiro area. There are hardly any places to casually go out around the Hotel, so I had planned to focus on staying at the Hotel, but I may have expected too much.

    The best view and...

This was my third stay at the accommodation. During my previous visit, I was impressed by the view from the restaurant and the quality of the moor onsen, so I searched for it again after a long time. The fact that some parts had been renovated became the deciding factor for making a reservation. Although more than three years had passed since my last stay, during check-in, the front desk staff mentioned, "Thank you for staying with us before," which made me happy and also highlighted the hotel's attentive service. The room I stayed in this time was a twin room with a moon-viewing deck that had been renovated in May of last year. The new room featured large windows that allowed plenty of natural light to come in and offered an excellent view of Tokachi River through its expansive windows. My favorite part this time was definitely the deck overlooking Tokachi River. During the day, I enjoyed being soothed by breezes from the river while admiring flowers blooming in the garden, and at sunset, I relished watching as it set—spending truly relaxing moments there. The meals were also delightful; I savored rich local ingredients such as meat and vegetables from Tokachi's bountiful land. I would love to stay here again when visiting Obihiro!

    It was a family trip.

The room accommodated 5 people in a shared sleeping arrangement, but it was clean, and the meals, both dinner and breakfast buffets, offered a wide variety of dishes that were satisfying. The onsen was particularly enjoyable as the moor onsen suited my skin well. If given the chance, I would like to stay here again. During our stay, we noticed dogs passing by and learned that there is a pet-friendly floor. My family discussed how nice it would be to complete the reservation next time with our dog included.

    Good Hotel

We stayed in a room with an open-air Onsen. The Onsen was excellent, leaving our skin smooth and soft. We also used the lounge, which offered alcohol and light snacks, providing a quiet space to relax. The staff were friendly, greeted us warmly, and made our stay very pleasant.

    Wonderful

The staff, the facilities, the Room, the amenities, the air conditioning, everything was wonderful. One night is not enough! I wanted to stay more! It's a must to include the all-you-can-eat option! Everything from the water to everything else was delicious, the best. I want to stay again! To all the staff, please take care of yourselves. Thank you very much!!

    Thank you very much.

The facility was very comfortable and enjoyable. As a request, I am a smoker, and I would appreciate it if you could separate the rooms for rolled cigarettes and electronic cigarettes. I will visit again.

    High satisfaction

I think the building itself is old, but the Room has been renovated and was comfortable. The brownish Onsen has a good quality of spring water. The dinner and breakfast buffets showed a particular focus on dishes using pork. The vegetables were also delicious. Initially, the dinner time was set to start at 7:30 PM, but they informed us that they would contact us as soon as there was availability, and they actually moved it to an earlier time. I was grateful because I was hungry.

    Room with First Open-air Bath

We stayed in a room with an open-air bath for the first time to celebrate my husband's retirement. The view was very nice, and the open-air bath was excellent. The staff were very kind and we were very grateful. We would like to use it again.

    Stays with Pets

In Hokkaido, where there are few hotels that allow pets, I chose this hotel. The facility has been renovated, and the room where I stayed with my pet was clean and comfortable. The meals were buffet-style, and I enjoyed them. The staff's response was cheerful and pleasant.
