A fulfilling stay that brings smiles to the whole family

Everything—from the Facility and hospitality to the dining—exceeded our expectations, and it was a stay that our whole family genuinely enjoyed. Our child liked it so much they said, “I want to come again,” and we felt it is a Hotel that’s perfect for a family trip. This time we stayed for one night and two days because we were also staying at another Hotel, but considering the well-equipped Facility and services, I think a Multiple Night Stay would let you appreciate this Hotel’s appeal even more. Next time, we would definitely like to stay for multiple nights. [Club Lounge] The staff at check-in were extremely courteous, and we were able to enjoy sweets and drinks while completing the procedures. They also prepared coloring sets for each child in our party, which left a great impression as our child was able to spend the time without getting bored. [Guest Room: Ryukyu Suite / Beach View] The in-room refrigerator was a large model with completely separate fridge and freezer compartments, making it very convenient even for families. The toilet was modern and very clean, so it was comfortable to use. Having an in-room drum-type washer/dryer is especially helpful for longer stays or trips with children. Also, because there is a tatami room, children can relax safely lying down; we felt it’s a guest room where families can truly unwind together. Since it’s on the 3rd floor, the view isn’t quite “breathtaking,” but we had no particular complaints and stayed comfortably. [Dinner: Roy’s] There was an excellent variety of sushi options, and the desserts were plentiful as well—everything was delicious. We were satisfied enough that we definitely want to dine here again next time, and I can strongly recommend it to future guests. [Breakfast: Four Seasons] As part of the club floor benefits, we could make a Reservation at check-in, which helped us avoid crowds and enter smoothly. All dishes were delicious—especially the pancakes. With seating overlooking the ocean and a great atmosphere overall, it made for a wonderful morning. [Large Public Bath] We used it around 9:00 PM. It was crowded inside, but there was always an available washing station. Towels were provided as well, which made everything comfortable. [Facilities & Amenities] While not large, there is an indoor pool; plus activities such as rock-paper-scissors stamp rallies are held too, so children won’t get bored even on rainy days. We spent comfortably everywhere—including the outdoor pool area and the beach. [What Was Disappointing] The club floor benefit “Dolphin Splash” and the suite benefit “Wake-Up Sailing” were fully booked so we couldn’t participate. Although this seems unavoidable since the website states they are first-come-first-served programs as well، I hope improvements can be made so guests are less likely to miss out on these benefits altogether.

This is my first visit back in several years.

We stayed here for our son’s first trip to Okinawa when he was 4. The photos taken by a professional photographer on the beach are still displayed in our living room. Since then, we’ve visited several times for year-end/New Year stays and restaurant use. This time, we returned at our now middle-school-aged son’s request (he must have had an amazing time back then). We stayed in a Ryukyu Suite on the beach side. While the Room feels a bit dated, it is well maintained and very clean. The refrigerator is large, with a separate freezer that keeps ice cream rock-solid. There was also a microwave, which was convenient. What I especially want to highlight is the washer-dryer in the Room. Being able to use it for free whenever you like is truly amazing—no stress at all! That said, although it was on the beach side, the view was somewhat underwhelming… I think a higher floor would have been better. We also went to the lagoon that our son used to love, but there were fewer fish than before, which was disappointing. However, Dolphin Splash was exciting! One thing we noticed is that the quality of the food (especially dinner) seems to be declining year by year… Breakfast at Four Seasons was excellent. It was also stress-free because we could enter without waiting. The atmosphere is great as well. The staff there left a very positive impression. The poolside cabanas were also fantastic! We really enjoyed relaxing—reading and taking naps. Yamada Onsen isn’t large, but it felt clean, didn’t smell of chlorine, and was very relaxing. I think this Hotel is great for families with children. Even our middle schooler enjoyed it. We are truly grateful to all of the lounge staff for their help. Thank you very much.

    About Service Etiquette

We have stayed at the Renaissance 5 or 6 times since our child was a baby. This time, when we had dinner at Sai, we ordered sukiyaki. A female staff member prepared it for us at the beginning, but her chopstick handling stood out to us. Of course, it may be debatable whether a workplace needs to provide guidance on something like how to hold chopsticks, but watching her made us feel a little sorry that no one seemed to have taught her. Sai appears to value formality and refinement—for example, beach sandals are not allowed during dinner service. For that reason, we feel that if possible, providing additional guidance on service manners and etiquette would make the experience even more pleasant.

    Excellent!!

We stayed at Club the B for 4 days and 3 nights. We traveled with our 5-year-old child, and we completely understand why it’s so popular!! We definitely want to come again next year.

    A Disappointing Stay

I had been wanting to stay here at least once. This time, however, because my expectations were high, the experience was disappointing. It started at check-in. I went to the front desk at 13:45 to complete the check-in procedure. The front desk staff finished the process, but told me that since check-in time is 14:00, I should come back at 14:00 to pick up my key card. So I waited in the lobby until 14:00, and after 14:00 passed, I went back to the front desk to get my key card. Then the front desk staff, without even confirming my name, instructed me to go to the bell desk next door. Wondering why but following instructions, I went to the bell desk, where a bell staff member said, “We don’t have your key card, so I’ll go confirm with the front desk.” After a while, that staff member casually told me, “Cleaning isn’t finished yet, so please wait.” Even though I was told by the front desk staff to come for my key card at 14:00—and it was already past 14:00—I was then told by bell staff to wait because cleaning wasn’t done. I was simply sent back and forth. As a result, I wasn’t able to enter my Room until 14:15. There was no prior guidance that key cards would be picked up at the bell desk rather than the front desk; despite being told to come at 14:00, the Room wasn’t ready; and without checking whether my key card was prepared or not before sending me over there—this lack of coordination wasted my time and dampened my mood. It was also disappointing that Hotel staff acted as if there were no issue. For dinner we chose all-you-can-eat sushi. The sushi had rich flavor in each topping—truly like sushi from a proper sushi restaurant—and it was very good. The selection was extensive as well, from standard items to Okinawa-specific options. For breakfast we chose a Japanese set meal. The way staff took orders felt like an assembly line—something you don’t often see at a Hotel. The Japanese set meal itself was enjoyable. Finally, although I had booked a Plan with valet parking included (valet service), bell staff told me it did not apply. At check-in they handled valet service normally; however no matter how many times I explained it later on they insisted they would take me by shuttle bus instead. In the end they did provide valet service for me (valet service), but it was a stay with constant hassles. Overall—with expectations as high as mine—it ended up being a sad and disappointing stay. I won’t be returning.

Absolutely satisfied with the Four Seasons dining—simply the best!!

When we stayed on April 13 for my husband’s recuperation, Four Seasons was still under renovation, so unfortunately we couldn’t use it. This time, to coincide with the completion of the Four Seasons renovation, we stayed together on May 12 during the rainy season and were finally able to enjoy both Four Seasons and Yamada Onsen. The kind service and attentive support from the club floor staff, as well as the Hotel’s thoughtful consideration, always leave a very positive impression. The next morning, we were delighted to finally dine at Four Seasons and were completely satisfied. Even though it was the rainy season, we were surprised by how many guests there were—people of all ages, including families with children—playing on the beach, which showed us just how highly regarded this Hotel is. Next time, we plan to visit again as a couple around autumn.

    It is a good Hotel.

I booked a stay with club lounge access. It was reasonably priced for the quality, and I liked the lounge hours. I did wish they had Orion beer, though. Also, I thought the system that lets you visit different breakfast venues was excellent. Since it was the rainy season and a bit chilly, the indoor pool was always crowded with families, so it was hard to relax. Getting to the fitness gym was inconvenient: you have to take off your shoes before the changing room, then after changing you put them on again at a different spot, and then change footwear again in front of the gym. This is because it shares the same corridor leading to the pool, and that corridor is soaking wet. Even to use the restroom, you have to go back to the changing room each time, which made it difficult to use. It felt like a waste because the gym equipment itself is good. Aside from that, everything else—staff service and atmosphere—was excellent.

We had a very satisfying stay!

We stayed for one night and two days on the Club Floor with access to Yamada Onsen so my husband could recuperate from illness (emphysema, interstitial pneumonia, and aortic aneurysm surgery). The front desk staff were warm and welcoming with a simple, island-style hospitality, and we were very satisfied with both the Club Floor services after check-in and bathing at Yamada Onsen. Dinner was also excellent, with a wide variety of dishes and drinks. It was very disappointing that Four Seasons was closed for repairs (floor maintenance), so we couldn’t use it despite checking in advance. The beach is stunning as well—white sand beautifully set against the blue sea. We also recommend taking a walk around the Hotel while enjoying the sea breeze, orchids, and even dolphins. We would love to visit again when Four Seasons reopens.

    We had a comfortable stay.

We stayed in a Junior Suite for three nights. The breakfast—Sain Premium Japanese Breakfast—was delicious. Everyone at the Club Lounge, including the club service officers, was kind and attentive, making it very comfortable. However, the Club Lounge felt small for the number of guests staying on the club floor, and during evening cocktails it was sometimes full and unavailable, which was disappointing. The suite benefit Shuttle Service between Naha Airport and the Hotel was extremely helpful. This is a Hotel that can be thoroughly enjoyed even without children, and we would like to stay again.

We stayed with four families. Contrary to the forecast, we had great weather every day and were able to join all the activities we had planned. Along with playing rock-paper-scissors with the staff, the kids seemed to have an amazing time. It was also fun being able to choose from different breakfast venues, and having free washer and dryer facilities was a big plus. The Shuttle Service to the nearby bus stop was also very helpful.

    Renaissance Spring Break

This was our first stay at the Renaissance with two children, and it truly felt like a paradise for families. There were plenty of activities to enjoy throughout the stay, and with many restaurant options, we really enjoyed the food as well. The ocean was beautiful, and we were able to fully experience the resort atmosphere. The Room was clean, spacious enough, and very comfortable. One point: we chose a Room with club lounge access, but the offerings felt a bit underwhelming. In particular, I would have appreciated more variety and larger portions for the evening food. Personally, I also think being able to enjoy beer from lunchtime would make it even better. That said, with club lounge access we could use the “Dolphin Splash” activity for free, which was great fun and very popular with our children.

We had a wonderful stay here with three generations of our family.

What we liked - We could only book the first night, but we requested a Club Suite and also received Shuttle Service, so we were able to relax on the first day. - It was fun to go around and enjoy a variety of breakfast options. - The Japanese-style Room had a washer-dryer, which was very convenient. - Being able to choose the no-cleaning Plan by day ourselves was great value. - There were many kinds of animals—dolphins, tortoises, sea turtles, wallabies, parrots, and more—so you really feel close to nature. - There were plenty of staff at both the beach and the pool, which made us feel safe, and we could ask questions anytime. - The cooking experiences cost extra, but our grandchildren seemed to really enjoy them. What was difficult - The Club Savvy benefits were hard to understand. - Our Japanese-style Room was on the 3rd floor directly above renovation work in the 2nd-floor restaurant, so it was noisy with sound and vibrations and we couldn’t relax during the day—could our Room have been changed? Overall we had a very relaxing stay, and everyone said on our way home that we’d love to stay for about 20 days! The Lincoln that took us to the airport on departure was extremely comfortable as well. Thank you for six wonderful days.

    Awesome!

We were blessed with great weather, and our seven grandchildren were thrilled with the activities—so much so that they keep asking, “When can we come again?” It was also great to be able to choose the breakfast venue, and to have laundry and drying available at any time. Every staff member provided excellent service.

    The Best Accommodation

This was our first stay on a family trip, and it was an amazing Accommodation that the kids absolutely loved. They keep saying they want to stay longer and come back again. We booked a Plan eligible for Club Savvy, and it was fantastic—they rode the banana boat many times. Next time, we’d like to visit in the warm summer. The indoor pool was also excellent.

We stayed here for our first trip with our 0-year-old baby. With a baby cot and diaper bags provided, and the staff’s thoughtful support, it was very easy to stay and we were extremely satisfied. For dinner, we enjoyed the Eisa & island songs buffet “Aya.” Next time, when our child is older, we’d like to try teppanyaki or BBQ and enjoy activities such as the pool. The lounge on the second floor was also spacious and wonderful. The only downside was that the air conditioning felt a bit warm and we couldn’t adjust it well (it wasn’t unbearable). Overall, it was a great stay, and we’d love to come back and relax for a longer visit.

    Everything is perfect!

Service, Onsen, meals, and room—everything was satisfying. We recommend including breakfast in your stay. You can enjoy both the buffet and traditional Japanese cuisine at Ayasan with their flexible style! This is a unique service you won't find elsewhere! I will definitely choose this Hotel again for my next trip to Okinawa. Thank you very much.

    Top Floor

Stayed in a Club Twin during summer vacation. The room was clean, and the food was delicious. I also enjoyed Yamada Onsen, and the bath was great. It was a relaxing summer vacation with plenty to do within the hotel. The only downside was that moving around on the top floor was exhausting due to the intense heat.

    Hmm, unfortunate...

I had high expectations as it is part of the Marriott Group, but honestly, the service and facilities do not match the price. Specifically, there were many disappointing aspects such as the quality of staff response, outdated facilities (dim hallway lighting, dirty pool), and amenities (such as old hairdryers). Compared to the hotel I stayed at until the day before, which offered excellent quality for its price, this difference was even more noticeable.

A Hotel Perfect for Family Enjoyment

I stayed here about ten years ago and had a good impression, so I decided to return. Since it was a weekday, I was able to stay at a great value. Last time, it was a two-night trip with my daughter, and we didn’t use much of the hotel’s facilities. However, this time it was a group of six including my two grandchildren, so we enjoyed various hotel activities and the beach. We chose this accommodation because we wanted to show our grandchildren the Churaumi Aquarium. Although we usually visit remote islands in Okinawa every year, this location seemed perfect for our plan. Since we stayed for three nights, we were registered in the Sabee Club (?), which allowed us to enjoy various complimentary services that added value to our stay. While the facility is older in age, it has been beautifully renovated and felt as comfortable as staying at a new hotel with well-equipped amenities. My son’s family appreciated having access to modern washing machines free of charge! Personally, I found the meals excellent—despite being buffet-style, everything felt carefully prepared with high-quality ingredients. Breakfast stood out especially; unlike many hotels that simply serve pre-packaged items from bags onto plates, there were plenty of thoughtfully made dishes available here. The Japanese breakfast in particular surprised me with its taste and quality—it became one of my favorites! My husband even said he’d love to come back just for another meal together. The location is also convenient as it's midway between Motobu area attractions and Naha city destinations. During our trip filled with activities like fixed-net fishing experiences, marine activities, glassblowing workshops, visiting Churaumi Aquarium along with delicious soba noodles or Agu pork shabu-shabu restaurants—we managed quite an intense schedule but both elderly couples like us and younger families thoroughly enjoyed this Okinawa vacation! Thankfully all four days during our stay were sunny—a true blessing!

    Perfect for families with children

It was truly the most comfortable and amazing Hotel. With direct access to the beach and plenty of activities, we never got bored as we could interact closely with various animals everywhere. The staff were all kind, and even though there were many foreign guests during the activities, everyone spoke fluent English and provided clear explanations for non-Japanese speakers, which was fantastic! For families with children, they provided bags with coloring books and stamp rally kits. If you won at rock-paper-scissors, you could receive toys or stuffed animals. The place was incredibly clean, and all the food was absolutely delicious. Both my child and I have become huge fans of this Hotel!

We stayed as a family of four with our 3-year-old and 1-year-old children. There were many programs for kids to enjoy, and they were especially excited about the Rock-Paper-Scissors Stamp Rally. They were thrilled to receive a stuffed toy at the end. Additionally, breakfast and lunch were free for children, making it a budget-friendly Hotel. All the staff members were kind and cheerful, allowing us to have a comfortable stay. The Room amenities included lotion but unfortunately did not have any moisturizer, which was disappointing. We would love to stay here again as a family!

    All the staff were kind!

Stayed for two nights from January 21st. I had reserved a Deluxe Twin, but since it was fully booked, I was upgraded to a Ryukyu Suite. The Japanese-style room was really helpful as we were traveling with a baby! Although there are many parts of the Facility that feel old, the cleaning is very thorough and meticulous. For dinner, we dined at Aya on the first night and Umikaze on the second night. Not only the restaurants, but all the staff we interacted with were really pleasant, and I think it was the best Hotel I have ever stayed at. The foreign staff were also doing their best! Many activities are for ages four and up, and since our child was still three, there were many things we couldn't do, but even so, we were able to play with dolphins inside the Hotel, and there was an indoor pool with a slide, a small game corner, and plenty of souvenirs. There are birds in the lobby, so the child was excited the whole time. The breakfast bread was really delicious. Also, I would be happy if Yamada Onsen could be included for an additional fee.

    Truly a kid-friendly Hotel

The two children (8 years old, 2 years old) were very satisfied with the abundant and accessible activities, and we were truly delighted by the Hotel staff's kind treatment and actions towards the children. We stayed for three nights, and they were smiling the whole time, which is the greatest joy as a parent. There are also many restaurants, and some offer free meals for children, which is excellent. The food is also delicious. We would love to stay again.
