    It was a great accommodation.

    The open-air bath was surrounded by lush greenery, making it very relaxing. We were also satisfied with the breakfast and dinner buffets.

    First come, first served!!

    The freshly baked salted rolls at the breakfast buffet were outstanding. Made with truffle salt, they were chewy and truly delicious. They bake a new batch every 20 minutes, and when they’re ready, the Hotel staff ring a bell to let you know—it was a fun touch. They sell out within minutes after being served, so don’t miss them!!

    This is my second time.

    This was our second stay, as my grandchild said, “I want to go again to the Hotel where you can see the Kinugawa trains.” The welcome shaved ice was delicious! Thank you again for preparing a track-side Room. We stayed out on the balcony the whole time. Because of that, a fairly large insect got in, so I wished there had been insect spray. Dinner, like last time, didn’t have a huge variety, but the quality is consistently high. The roast beef was so good that even I—someone who doesn’t usually like roast beef—went back for seconds. If I had to ask for just one thing, it would have been nice if there had been shrimp or squid sushi. Also, thank you for lending us a first-aid kit after I injured my foot in the Room.

    Stretch out and relax in the Onsen-style bath

    First, I was pleased that the property has been renovated and is clean throughout, with a spacious feel. I fully enjoyed the Onsen bath, stretching out my arms and legs in a way I can’t do at home. This time we stayed for two nights to explore Oku-Nikko. We were lucky to avoid the rain and walked from Akanuma to Ryuzu Falls before arriving at Tobu Nikko Station. Unfortunately, due to an accident on the Tobu Nikko Line, we had to wait at the station for about two hours, but we still made it back to the Hotel in time for dinner. If I had one suggestion, it would be nice to have a more impactful dinner menu. It was a memorable trip. Thank you for your hospitality.

    Breakfast only

    The Room was non-smoking and very clean, which was great. We stayed with three adults, and the sofa bed was not too firm, so we were able to stay comfortably. The staff were courteous and helpful, and we would like to stay again.

    We had a great stay.

    We stayed with our grandchild, the three of us. The Room was clean and well maintained. The window glass was also spotless, and the greenery outside was clearly visible, which felt very relaxing. The stool near the entrance was in the way, made the space feel cramped, and actually seemed dangerous. The Room was a Japanese-style room with futons; if possible, we would have liked them to be laid out in advance. The meals were a delicious buffet featuring yuba and local specialties, with just the right variety, and we were able to eat calmly. It was disappointing that we couldn’t use the women’s open-air bath because bees were reported there. We liked the good service and the quiet, relaxing atmosphere. If we have a chance to visit again, we would definitely like to stay here again.

    Fully satisfied with Kinugawa Harvest

    This stay was even more comfortable than usual. We arrived early, but right after check-in we were informed that our Room was ready, and the staff handled everything flexibly. The Room was as clean as ever, and the bath was still wonderful, but this time the meals were improved in both quality and taste. The restaurant was not crowded, and we received attentive service—likely thanks to how well the dining Reservation times were arranged. I felt a real depth in how the staff maintained an appropriate distance while still being considerate. The care shown by an experienced female staff member and a key male staff member reached every detail. The younger staff were also very pleasant, and their strong teamwork made our stay extremely comfortable. Personally, I keep coming back to Kinugawa because the Rooms are close to the baths, and this time was better than ever. I have already made a Reservation for late summer as well. My rating reflects the price point.

    The food is delicious.

    I stayed one night with buffet-style dinner and breakfast included. At first, I was a bit disappointed—the Room was nothing special, and we had to make up the futon ourselves—but the food was better than expected and I was satisfied.

    Amid the greenery

    I stayed in early June. The fresh greenery was wonderful. Although it is Kinugawa Onsen, the Hotel is in a quiet location away from the typical Onsen town area. I think it’s an ideal Hotel for those who want to relax and take things slow. The staff’s hospitality is top-class. Our group booked three Rooms, but a few Rooms were not cleaned thoroughly, so we were moved to different Rooms. Even so, the staff handled it promptly, as expected. Troubles can happen anywhere, but thanks to their quick response we were able to enjoy our stay without worry. It’s a Hotel I would like to stay at again.

    It was great.

    I have stayed at several Harvest properties, but this was my first time staying in Kinugawa. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious. I would like to stay again.

    I’ve stayed here multiple times.

    I love this Onsen because the water quality suits me well, and I have stayed here many times as a repeat guest. This time, perhaps to cut costs, some of the lighting in the open-air bath was not turned on, so it was a bit dark and I was worried about my footing. However, the Room is relaxing and comfortable for a restful stay, and the breakfast buffet is delicious—I’m very satisfied.

    Golden Week Family Trip

    We made a last-minute family trip and booked two Rooms on short notice. The Rooms were not next to each other but facing each other, which was a thoughtful arrangement that let us enjoy both views. Since the weather was clear, we could watch the Kinugawa river rafting from the valley side, and see the steam locomotive from the railway side—amazing. What was disappointing was that the Diamond benefit should have included shopping vouchers per group, but we only received one set and were handed them at checkout with an apology that they had been forgotten. Also, there were clearly several glass rings on the table in our Room and it felt sticky, as if it hadn’t been wiped—are you cleaning properly? We planned to relax together and play board games in our Room, but when I touched the table to lay out cards it was sticky, which was shocking. I understand you were busy during Golden Week, but an obvious missed cleaning is not pleasant.

    A great-value, convenient Facility that kids will love

    Although the Facility felt a bit dated, it was very clean, and we were able to use the pool, Onsen, and other facilities comfortably. The front desk staff in particular were very kind and sincere. I understand this may be unavoidable given the cost performance, but the meals could perhaps be improved a little more.

    Delicious Dinner & Breakfast

    It was our first visit, and both dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious—truly delicious!! There were five of us in the family, and everyone ate so much we couldn’t possibly finish it all. Our 3-year-old grandchild is usually very picky, always saying “I don’t like this” or “I don’t like that,” so we were amazed to see them happily eating everything. Enjoying an incredible amount of great food and then relaxing in the Onsen felt like being in heaven. We’d love to stay again just for the meals.

    Disappointing service.

    Due to an earthquake, the arrival of the Spacia X was delayed, and we reached the shuttle bus right at its departure time. The shuttle bus left without taking any train delays into consideration, so in heavy rain we had no choice but to take a taxi—but there was a very long line, and with small children it was extremely difficult. I couldn’t believe that a Hotel today would offer no flexibility at all, such as adjusting operations or taking delayed arrivals into account. Also, one member of the Hotel staff during dinner provided terrible service. While we were talking—pushing a stroller and with small children—we were told in an irritated tone, “Don’t you need guidance?” If we stood even slightly in front of the staff member, we were scolded. They also cleared dishes by reaching across us while we were still eating. There was no smile, and it left us truly disappointed. All other staff members served us pleasantly with smiles, which made it even more unclear why this person was assigned to guest-facing service.

    We had a very comfortable stay.

    We stayed in Kinugawa Onsen for the first time for a railway trip with our grandchildren (Spacia, steam locomotive, and Liberty). It was also our first time staying at Hotel Harvest, and we found both the Room and the Onsen very comfortable. The meals were delicious as well, making it a truly satisfying trip. The other guests also seemed refined, which made us want to try other Hotel Harvest properties. Our grandchild was especially happy to be able to enjoy watching the trains from the Room. Thank you very much.

    To celebrate my daughter’s high school graduation, we’re heading to the nature-rich Hotel Harvest Kinugawa.

    We traveled to Kinugawa to celebrate my daughter’s high school graduation. We stayed at Hotel Harvest Kinugawa, an Accommodation surrounded by nature. When we mentioned it was a graduation trip, they kindly surprised us with a Room upgrade! The staff’s thoughtfulness was truly heartwarming, and we felt happy from the moment we arrived. The Hotel was spotless throughout, with excellent housekeeping, making our stay very comfortable. The Onsen we had been looking forward to was wonderful—there were various types of baths in the large public bath area, and we were able to relax and soothe our bodies. The buffet dining was also high quality and very satisfying! What I personally appreciated most was being able to take coffee back to our Room. Until checkout, I could pack while enjoying a calm, unhurried final stretch of time in the Room. It was the best graduation celebration—both our hearts and stomachs were full.

    The Facility itself ...

    The Facility itself is not new, but it is thoroughly cleaned and well maintained down to every detail, giving a reassuring sense of comfort without feeling dated. As it is a large property, the restaurants and shared spaces are always lively, which may feel a bit too busy for those seeking a quiet stay; however, considering the value for money, it is more than satisfactory. I was able to stay at a great rate, and overall it was a highly satisfying visit.

    A Hotel that soothes both body and mind

    After my daughter safely finished her national exam, we wanted a relaxing mother-and-daughter trip, so we chose this Hotel based on the Reviews. For dinner, we selected the Kisuge course at the Momiji restaurant. Each dish was carefully prepared, and we appreciated that the portions were just right even for women. We were able to enjoy an elegant time. We also really looked forward to the baths—the water quality was excellent, and the view from the open-air bath felt truly refreshing. We enjoyed it both at night and in the morning. Above all, the staff’s warm words and thoughtful care were incredibly comforting. Thanks to you, we felt healed in both body and mind throughout our stay as mother and daughter. We would love to visit again!

    A perfect place for train lovers.

    Three of us stayed here: two sisters in our 50s and our 6-year-old grandchild. It’s close to the station, and you can clearly see the trains from the Room balcony, which thrilled our train-loving grandchild. Every time we heard the railroad crossing bell, he’d rush out to the balcony—he was so busy (laugh). We got to see SL Taiju, Spacia X, and Liberty—amazing. We’re grateful to the female staff member who was so kind to our grandchild. Thank you very much! There aren’t a lot of dishes at meals, but every item was refined and well prepared, and it was just right for us in our 50s.

    Girls’ Trip

    I have been a Harvest Club member for over 10 years. Although the Kinugawa property is quite an old building, it is well cleaned and the service is excellent. I would definitely like to stay here again.

    Quiet and relaxing

    I spent a relaxing time watching the trees sway in the wind. The bath was a comfortable size, and the room was clean. Above all, the high-quality buffet was a highlight. One suggestion: the room only had tea bags, so it would be nice to have black tea or coffee as well. Also, coffee in the lounge is paid, so it would be great if it were complimentary. I’m not expecting full all-inclusive service, but even a few extra touches make a difference.

    I had a relaxing stay.

    We had a relaxing stay as a couple. The Hotel was very clean, and the Onsen was spacious with excellent water quality—it felt wonderfully soothing and left our skin feeling silky smooth. The Room and baths were comfortable, the other guests were calm, and being able to spend time quietly was a real highlight. The staff were also courteous, and we were able to enjoy our meals at a leisurely pace. However, we found the meals slightly disappointing. There were somewhat few dishes, and overall the flavors felt a bit lacking. Also, it was somewhat inconvenient that we could not go to the dining area or front desk in loungewear. Overall, we think it is a wonderful Hotel where you can relax quietly at your own pace.

    It was an excellent ...

    It was an excellent cost-performance accommodation. The baths had a wide variety, and the mist sauna was amazing, completely relieving my fatigue. The breakfast buffet was incredibly delicious and impressive. Although the price range is about 1/5 compared to the neighboring Kinugawa Keisui with a completely different concept, the satisfaction level here was very high and wonderful. Unfortunately, I couldn't book a dinner-included plan at the last minute, but I definitely want to come back again.

    A Relaxing Onsen Trip for Couples

    It was a relaxing trip to unwind after helping with my daughter's childbirth. For us living in Tokyo, the train access was convenient, and as Diamond members, we enjoyed an extended stay and truly relaxed. The buffet offered many healthy and delicious dishes, and the size of the buffet area was just right—not too large. One of our favorite aspects was the excellent manners of other guests. We felt like coming back for a relaxing Onsen trip every month. The staff were all incredibly hospitable, making it a very satisfying experience. Thank you!

    A Memorable Trip to Cherish Time with Your Parents

    Over 60 years of running her own business (still active with her son's support), I wanted to bring my mother to "Harvest Kinugawa" based on my own intuition... and off we went to Kinugawa! Despite her cognitive decline (which I informed the staff about via email), my 80s mother, who dislikes Onsen, loves meat, is strong-willed, enjoys pachinko, and sports a samurai-style hairstyle, was completely satisfied thanks to "Harvest Kinugawa." - Although she couldn't enjoy the Onsen (due to her condition), the room with a separate bath and toilet was perfect. ✔ - Dinner buffet: She devoured two plates of roast beef, five servings of steamed shabu-shabu (with custom sauce made from sesame or ponzu sauce mixed with chili oil—she gave it three stars!), soy milk hot pot dumplings, locally sourced white rice cooked in an iron pot (also highly praised), and even after claiming she couldn’t eat anymore... she still enjoyed freshly squeezed purple sweet potato Mont Blanc dessert! ✔ - Confirmed beforehand that there was a pachinko machine in the game corner. She played "Pachinko Sea Story" for the first time in about 20 years. ✔ *Special thanks to the two Nepalese staff at the live kitchen: Initially professional but warmed up after some casual conversation about their home country Kathmandu. Their smiles made everything taste even better. While facilities were excellent as expected from Harvest Resorts, what stood out most was their hospitality—the genuine care shown by every staff member we encountered: lobby attendants, dining hall servers, shop clerks, cleaning staff—all embodying true hospitality. To all at "Tokyu Harvest Club Kinugawa," thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making this trip so memorable. A special note of gratitude for calling our room post-dinner just to check if both my mother and I had safely returned—your thoughtfulness meant so much. Thank you again!

    Overall good, but the out-of-place staff was disappointing.

    The lobby was spacious and clean, and the room, bath, and balcony view were all excellent. Check-in was smooth, and the staff were polite, making our stay pleasant. The dinner and breakfast buffets had a wide variety of dishes, though the taste was average. It would have been even better if there had been a standout dish as the main feature. Honestly, the most delicious item for both meals was the curry. That said, overall it was a comfortable hotel. I initially planned to make my next reservation before leaving but changed my mind due to poor service from two female staff members during breakfast. At the restaurant reception desk where we provided our room number and name, one of these female staff members did not greet us with "Good morning" or "Welcome," nor did she smile—completely ruining what should have been a refreshing morning atmosphere. Later in a hallway near the restroom inside the restaurant, I passed by this same staff member who neither bowed nor greeted me. Other staff members were courteous when passing by with bows or friendly greetings. Inside the restaurant were two coffee machines; on one machine (the right side), there were special coffee options like seasonal varieties that many guests—including us—were waiting for. While we waited in line at this machine being cleaned by an older female staff member facing away from us suddenly snapped: “It’ll take more time! Go use another machine!” Begrudgingly everyone left disappointed back toward their tables instead reluctantly using alternative machines available nearby despite wanting specific drinks unavailable elsewhere! Why schedule cleaning during peak hours around 8 AM unnecessarily disrupting guest experiences? Even if replenishing beans etc., surely better timing exists avoiding inconveniences altogether especially since customers specifically queued up desired beverages unavailable alternatives offered elsewhere instead rudely dismissed outright lacking basic hospitality skills whatsoever entirely inappropriate roles requiring customer-facing professionalism alike receptionists mentioned earlier too unfortunately disappointing experience ultimately deciding book different hotels future stays moving forward
