    A Hotel that is always clean

    I stayed here last June and again on my birthday, March 3 this year. The hotel is always clean, and the front desk staff are consistently kind and pleasant. I’ve stayed many times, and I always have a comfortable stay and leave feeling great. Whenever I visit Marugame, this is where I stay. I will stay again. Thank you very much.

    Great view

    It was a bit difficult to get there from the station without a car, but we were very satisfied with the ocean-view scenery and the large public bath, and breakfast was delicious. We also appreciated how thoroughly everything was cleaned.

    Recommended if traveling by car.

    The hotel is located far from the station, but it was not an issue as we traveled by car. There was only one restaurant available for dining. Since we wanted seafood, we drove out to eat and were satisfied. Breakfast did not meet our expectations. It might be better not to have high expectations based on the hotel's name. The large public bath was relaxing and allowed us to unwind.

    My companion was delighted to watch YouTube on the TV screen. The area around the faucet of the sink seemed either old or dirty, it was hard to tell. From the room's window, I could see a full view of the Seto Ohashi Bridge, and I thought it was a nice room...

    Comfortable air conditioning

    The air conditioning at the Hotel is comfortable, free from issues like temperature discomfort or loud mechanical noises. The view of the Seto Ohashi Bridge from the window is excellent, and the large public bath is clean and pleasant. Additionally, breakfast offers a wide variety of delicious options, making for a delightful start to your day. The three elevators are well-programmed, allowing for convenient use with minimal waiting time. Staying at this price is quite rare these days.

    Convenient for islan...

    Convenient for island hopping during the Setouchi Triennale. Great accessibility. The Facility is old but clean, providing a comfortable stay. A beautiful full moon at night, and the morning sunrise over the tidal flats was magical.

    It is a bit far from...

    It is a bit far from the station, but the scenic bath is very relaxing, and the breakfast was delicious. However, since the menu is the same every day, a bit more variety would be appreciated by Multiple Night Stay guests. The Hotel staff were all kind and made my stay comfortable.

    Hotel with Ocean View

    The view from the Room is great, and the Room is spacious for the price, making it a good place to relax. However, as I was visiting for an art festival and went out every day, the distance from the station was inconvenient, especially on rainy days when I had to wait for a taxi at the station. The public bath was comfortable, and having a green towel specifically for bathing in addition to the bath towel in the Room was a nice touch. Although it was a non-smoking Room, there seemed to be lingering traces of past cigarette smells; having an air purifier in the Room would have been helpful.

    The lobby is spacious.

    The room was clean, well-maintained, and offered a beautiful ocean view. I stayed with a no-breakfast plan, but the front desk staff informed me that breakfast could be enjoyed at the restaurant even without a reservation, so I decided to try it. The presence of "Kamada Soy Sauce," a long-established soy sauce maker from Kagawa Prefecture, added a luxurious touch to the experience. It was unfortunate that the shop was closed during check-in hours, but overall, it is a wonderful hotel.

    The Hotel staff were polite and provided excellent service.

    The Hotel was not only clean and excellent, but the staff's hospitality was also kind and attentive. Especially, a gentleman at the shop asked about my plans for the next day, brought a brochure, and kindly explained recommended spots and popular stores in an easy-to-understand manner. I would like to stay here again when I visit Marugame. *I might have left my Kotohira Shrine amulet in the Room?*

    The Seto Inland Sea is breathtakingly beautiful.

    We stayed for one night on September 13th as a family of three. The view from our room on the 11th floor was wonderful and very relaxing. Since we booked with no meals included, we added the breakfast buffet by paying at the restaurant. There were various dishes, including Sanuki Udon, and everything was replenished promptly when running low, allowing us to fully enjoy and savor the meal. The large public bath on the 3rd floor also offered a great view. The staff kindly provided cardboard boxes for sending our luggage, which was very helpful. Thank you so much for your hospitality. We would love to stay again!

    We stayed here for a family trip! We were very satisfied with the Room where we could see the Seto Ohashi Bridge illuminated. The observation bath was also great.

    Beautiful Hotel

    I have used this place multiple times, and it is always clean no matter when I visit. It's great because you can easily access the udon shop and other places nearby.

    A Hotel with Moderate Value for Money Rather Than Luxury

    At Okura, I tend to expect more than the price suggests, but it was average. The good points were the location and the large public bath. It's understandable that there are no convenience stores or restaurants nearby. The downside was the small TV. The breakfast was disappointing compared to expectations. However, overall, I am satisfied with the value for money.

    Sauna available

    I stayed at the accommodation during my first trip to Udon Prefecture. Since my purpose was to eat udon, I did not use the dining services. As I checked in late, I used the large public bath and was pleasantly surprised to find a sauna. The sauna helped me refresh myself. Below the hotel, there was nighttime boat racing taking place, which was quite surprising! It was a rare sight to see. I will definitely stay here again when I visit Udon Prefecture next time.

    Noise is noticeable. Breakfast is partially disappointing.

    The building is impressive, but soundproofing is insufficient as I could hear snoring from the neighboring Room. Additionally, conversations in the hallway could be heard inside the Room. The breakfast, including udon and egg dishes, was satisfying, but the grilled fish was limited to "shishamo," which was disappointing for a Hotel facing the Seto Inland Sea.

    An isolated island on land

    As expected from the map, there are no restaurants around where you can eat. And within the Hotel, only one French restaurant was open. I wanted to eat something light, but I wish there were more menu options. The weather was nice, and the view was wonderful, with the combination of the Seto Ohashi Bridge and the Gold Tower being a spectacular sight in the morning and evening.

    Seto Ohashi Bridge!

    The quiet sunset was very beautiful, and the bridge also stood out against the calm Seto Inland Sea! In the morning, the sunrise was also very beautiful from my room! I was just surprised that there wasn't a single restaurant around! The bath was nice too!

    Very satisfied with the spacious bath.

    The transportation from the city was convenient, and the parking lot was well-maintained. The bath on the third floor was very spacious, allowing us to relax while enjoying the view of the Seto Ohashi Bridge. The front desk service was also satisfactory.
