    It was an amazing space.

    We stayed here for his birthday trip, and everything—from the hospitality and amenities to the views and meals—was truly top-class. We definitely want to come back someday. Thank you for a wonderful time.

    This Accommodation is a perfect place to relax and unwind.

    It’s been a long time since I’ve been able to relax this much. Unlike large, well-known Hotels, time here passes quietly and peacefully. In the open-air bath, the view of the Maruyama River right in front of you and the sound of wind chimes help you forget everyday life. Since it wasn’t crab season, we enjoyed a luxurious meal with Tajima beef shabu-shabu and abalone, but I felt the steak would have been more satisfying than shabu-shabu.

    It was a luxurious Ryokan.

    We stayed as a family. The view from our Room was wonderful, and the complimentary drinks in the refrigerator and the coffee set were unique services—truly exceptional hospitality! Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, and we were very satisfied. The Onsen was fairly standard, but everything felt luxurious and was great overall; however, the selection of free vending machine drinks was a bit underwhelming. It’s a high-priced Ryokan, but we were satisfied enough to feel it offered more than its worth. We’d love to stay again!

    An accommodation that makes you want to come back again.

    This was our third stay at a Kyoritsu Resort Accommodation—after Kaisyu and Kikuya—and Ginka is an Accommodation that truly makes us want to return. While the Facility shows its age, it more than makes up for it with excellent Shuttle Service, attentive hospitality from the staff throughout the building, and thoughtfully prepared dinner and breakfast that reflect genuine care. We were also impressed by the extraordinary view from our Room, the subtle all-inclusive feel, and even the charm of strolling around the Kinosaki Onsen town before check-in—all of which made this an outstanding trip in our later years. One small point: we repeatedly caught our toes on the step between the window-side viewing area and the main space of the Room. If some measure could be taken there, it would be perfect.

    This Accommodation, ...

    This Accommodation, set on spacious grounds a little away from Kinosaki Onsen, had a charming retro feel. We were able to relax at our own pace while looking out over the Maruyama River. The meals were also very satisfying. The only downside was our hot pot choice: we chose shabu-shabu, but whether the pot was too large or we just didn’t handle it well, we struggled to pick up both the vegetables and the kuzukiri noodles (laugh). Our assigned staff member also seemed inexperienced, but their sincerity really came through. I would have preferred to stay on the second floor, but I couldn’t get a Reservation. Still, since there are only stairs, I’m glad we had a first-floor Room—it's tough for anyone with mobility issues. Even so, this is an Accommodation I’d like to visit again.

    The crab was amazing.

    This was my first time visiting Kinosaki Onsen. I chose the second-floor Japanese-Western Room based on Reviews saying it had a great view, and just as described, I could see the river from both the room and the in-room bath, allowing me to relax in a calm atmosphere. The crab full-course dinner was outstanding, with impeccable flavor. Breakfast was also delicious, and they even served the crab I couldn’t finish the night before—I left completely satisfied. I’m truly glad I stayed at Ginka. I’d love to return again if I have the chance.

    A Luxury Stay in Heavy Snow

    I stayed here on a day of heavy snowfall. When we arrived by car, the staff warmly welcomed us in the cold, snowy weather and escorted each of us with an umbrella so we wouldn’t get wet. After check-in, we immediately made a Reservation for a private Onsen and enjoyed it. The Onsen felt wonderfully soothing on our chilled bodies. The meals were more than generous, and we thoroughly enjoyed them. Above all, the snowy scenery from our Room was breathtaking, and it truly helped me relax and recover from fatigue. I’ve already recommended it to my travel-loving friends.

    It was excellent.

    I had initially made a reservation for my birthday, but due to unforeseen circumstances, I rescheduled it for the following month. I was looking forward to exploring the area near Kinosaki Onsen Station, but the train was delayed by an hour due to snow, and most shops were closed. It was quite cold and challenging to pass the time until the pick-up service arrived. However, once I arrived at the accommodation, all those troubles faded away as I enjoyed the breathtaking view from my room. Although my room was on the first floor, it was conveniently close to the onsen. I could easily check if anyone else was using it by looking at the slipper rack in the hallway and managed to enjoy a large bath all by myself. After getting out of the bath, there were complimentary snacks, ice cream, and drinks available—such a thoughtful touch! The meals were all delicious as well. The staff member who attended us during dinner was very kind and charming; enjoying our meal while overlooking a river made for an incredibly satisfying experience. The room itself felt slightly dated but had a Dyson heater that kept us warm even on snowy days when used alongside air conditioning. The private bathroom in our room was spacious too; being able to watch TV while soaking in a hot bath felt like pure luxury. Everything—from baths and meals to hospitality—was exceptional here! This has become an accommodation I would love to visit again someday!

    After your journey...

    I had almost no complaints during my stay. ・Welcome: Someone who seemed to be the proprietress greeted us very politely, which made me happy from the start. ・Getting around the property: While light snow was falling, when I went to the car to get our luggage, they immediately provided footwear and an umbrella, which I also appreciated. ・Shuttle Service to Kinosaki Onsen: The careful driving made me feel very safe. ・Service and meals: Our table attendant was young, and although I could sense a bit of nervousness, they worked very hard and it made me want to cheer them on. Overall, the food was delicious. However, when I informed them in advance about one ingredient I cannot eat, I was told it could not be changed because it was a set course. If changes aren’t possible, I felt they could at least omit that ingredient rather than serve it. Since they told me beforehand, I wasn’t upset—but this was the first time at an Accommodation costing around 60,000 yen per person per night that they would not accommodate such a request, so it was disappointing. ・Disappointing point: My child forgot a mobile battery pack at the Accommodation, and about an hour later a male staff member contacted us. Up to this point it was fine—he asked if we would come back to pick it up. But since we had already moved on to a ski resort and said we couldn’t return right then, he replied: “Then may we dispose of it?” As with the issue of the ingredient request, he explained (almost trying to persuade us) in an apologetic tone over the phone—but there were no alternative options or any attempt to discuss possibilities. Honestly speaking, how many people would feel “happy” being served something they can’t eat? It should be easy to understand if you simply imagine yourself in that situation. Even though it’s our fault for leaving something behind, asking right away whether they can dispose of it felt inappropriate. I strongly felt they should have at least offered or discussed options such as: “We can send it cash on delivery—how would you like us to proceed?” It’s still fairly new—worth about 6,000 yen—so for a moment (in a rather cynical way) I even wondered if it would end up being resold online. Afterward during our trip home, I realized their approach seemed like one where guests are not given options—more of a definitive “we’ll do this” style of communication. That said—and taking into account that we were at fault for forgetting something—it ended up being a satisfying trip overall.

    I had a relaxing stay.

    I stayed on the second floor riverside, and the location was absolutely fantastic. The amenities and coffee were thoughtfully selected, which was a delight for coffee lovers like me. The facility was calm and quiet, providing a stress-free environment. As for the meals, they served an impressive amount of food, with options to suit both small and big appetites, allowing everyone to enjoy their meal fully. The freshly brewed Kasumi Tsuru sake was delicious and paired perfectly with every dish. It was truly exceptional! Breakfast was equally delightful—the rice was flavorful, and the salmon had crispy skin with juicy insides—absolutely delicious. I would definitely love to stay here again. Thank you very much!

    The crab full-course...

    The crab full-course meal and breakfast were absolutely delicious. The Onsen in the room was also very comfortable. When my friend developed a fever the morning after our stay, the staff kindly provided medicine and lozenges, showcasing exceptional hospitality. I would love to stay here again.     This is my fourth time, I believe. It's a wonderful place no matter how many times I visit. I stayed in a first-floor Room for the first time, and it was more than enough. This is a Ryokan I would love to stay at again.

    Healing Accommodation

    This was our first time staying here instead of visiting Kinosaki Onsen as usual. Thank you for your hospitality. Although it is a bit far from Kinosaki Onsen Station, the Shuttle Service to the station and the public baths in Kinosaki Onsen made transportation worry-free. The Hotel offered an amazing view of the river and mountains right from our Room, which was truly breathtaking. It was quiet and relaxing to spend time in the Room. We also enjoyed soaking in the Onsen several times during our stay. The meals were delightful, including dinner, breakfast, and even late-night udon noodles. Free ice cream and drinks from vending machines were available, which added to our satisfaction with their thoughtful services. There were various patterns of yukata with matching sashes available for guests to choose from, along with baskets that could be taken to outdoor Onsens and geta sandals for strolling around Kinosaki Onsen town—making it a thoroughly enjoyable experience! The only minor suggestion would be having simpler sashes that are easier to tie. We had a very satisfying two-day stay here and this has become one of the Hotels we’d love to visit again!

    The vastness of the ...

    The vastness of the property was astonishing, resembling a serene and elegant mansion. Guided by the staff's courteous hospitality, opening the room's sliding door revealed a breathtaking view of the Maruyama River, prompting an involuntary exclamation of delight. It is a quiet and tranquil space where you can fully immerse yourself in an extraordinary experience. Dinner at the counter featured heartfelt dishes served one by one, with the highlight being Tajima beef grilled on a shichirin grill. Both private and shared baths were spacious, user-friendly, and offered stunning views for relaxation. Considering modern power needs, it was delightful to find an extension cord in the room equipped with 9 outlets and 3 USB-A ports. Using a hand grinder to brew coffee with locally roasted beans from a nearby coffee shop in the room added to my satisfaction. After check-out, as I looked back after leaving the accommodation, I was deeply moved by their warm farewell as they waved until I could no longer see them.

    We had an enjoyable and fulfilling time.

    This was my third stay. Initially, I stayed in a first-floor Room, but since there was availability and I enjoyed the view from the second-floor Room during my previous visit, I upgraded at check-in. The second floor (this time Room 207) is indeed wonderful. I fully enjoyed the large public bath, private bath, and in-room bath. The meals were delightful both in appearance and taste, leaving me very satisfied. Additionally, the staff's courteous service made me feel great. I would love to stay again—thank you!

    It was a long-awaited return to Ginka.

    I recently visited Ginka again and was looking forward to it. However, there were a few concerns... First, the check-in process. It was crowded, so I waited in the car for a while. After that, I was guided to the front desk, but it was also full, and there were no seats available. If the front desk is full, perhaps waiting in the car a bit longer would have been better. Next is guidance to the room. The building does not have an elevator. When being shown to my room, I would have appreciated assistance with carrying heavy luggage. Additionally, I was initially guided to the wrong room by mistake. The large public bath has been renovated into a very clean and pleasant space. Dinner was served in a private dining room where I could relax and enjoy my meal thoroughly. However, despite being informed that breakfast would also be served there, it turned out not to be private dining for breakfast. Moreover, breakfast service was significantly delayed, and guests who arrived later than me at neighboring tables received their meals first. This left me wondering about some of these inconsistencies during this stay. Overall though, as this is generally a quiet accommodation, I hope to visit again someday and wanted to share my thoughts from this experience. Thank you for your hospitality!

    The Best Onsen Accommodation

    The meals are delicious, and I occasionally use this place. It had been a while since my last visit. While there are places with great Onsen quality like Arima, Atami, Kusatsu, and Gero, the meals here at Ginka are the best. The Facility, amenities, and customer service were excellent, making it a very pleasant 2-night stay. Thank you very much!

    Blissful Rest

    Blessed with clear skies during the over 5-hour journey, we arrived at the accommodation without feeling much fatigue. What greeted us upon opening the door was the serene flow of the Maruyama River. Occasionally, fish leaped and birds bathed in the water, making us feel as though we were part of this picturesque scenery. The room's design was truly soothing. During our two-day stay, we enjoyed soaking in slightly viscous onsen waters at a leisurely pace. Meals were thoughtfully varied each day, and shuttle service to downtown areas was provided, making for a thoroughly satisfying experience. The staff were exceptionally kind and courteous. The room was clean and well-maintained with great attention to detail. If I visit this onsen again in the future, I would definitely choose to stay at this accommodation once more.

    The view of the river was excellent.

    The price was quite high, so we had high expectations. However, the staff's service lacked coordination, which was a bit disappointing during the meal. The meal itself was not as special as one would hope for in Kinosaki. It might be good for inbound tourists. The view of the river from the Room was nice, but the private Onsen had no view at all. The ice cream and Yakult service were good. In hindsight, it might have been better to enjoy the town's Onsen instead.

    It was absolutely wonderful.

    We traveled by car, and from the moment we arrived, the service was incredibly courteous and easy to talk to. We definitely want to visit again. The food and bath were excellent, and our companion was also very satisfied, so we promised to return.

    I am a fan of the IKYU site and Kyoritsu Resort.

    I travel 4 to 5 times a year, first searching on the IKYU site and looking for a Stays in the Kyoritsu Resort among them. There are almost no disappointments, and I can have a good trip. This time, it was a trip to Kinosaki Onsen to eat matsutake mushroom dishes. I didn't expect matsutake mushrooms for the meal, but I was surprised when they were served. It was amazing at this price. It was a very satisfying trip with meals, Room, and bath.

    From the moment we entered the Room, everything was perfect. Located slightly away from the city center of Kinosaki, it was completely quiet and allowed us to enjoy a serene and luxurious time with my parents at a leisurely pace.     I would like to repeat my stay.

    All the staff in the Ryokan were very friendly. They always responded with a smile and politeness. We used it for my wife's maternity trip this time, and they changed the dishes from sashimi to grilled fish, making it a Ryokan full of hospitality. It's a bit pricey, but I definitely want to stay again!
