    A Hotel that Brings Nature and Smiles

    A Hotel with an adorable Beko that leaves a lasting impression. A variety of events are held, with plenty of thoughtful touches to keep the whole family entertained without getting bored. The buffet featured delicious local specialties and was a pleasure to enjoy. The Hotel staff, many of them young, worked hard with warm smiles, making our stay very comfortable.

    The service exceeded...

    The service exceeded the price, and we were very satisfied with the meals. The evening events—Aibase! and Odoransho—were interactive and a lot of fun. We’d love to visit again in a different season. They also offer a great selection of local Fukushima sake, which is wonderful for anyone who enjoys Japanese sake.

    We had a relaxing stay.

    We were able to spend a very relaxing time while enjoying the refreshing early-summer breeze. The meals were also very delicious. However, the only disappointment was that there was no open-air bath, perhaps due to the Facility building layout. Thank you very much.

    Neither good nor bad.

    We had high expectations with the name Hoshino Resorts, but it was just average for the price. The Onsen lacked an open-air bath, which felt a bit disappointing.

    It was a comfortable stay.

    Meals: The food was delicious, but it seemed not designed for guests on a multiple night stay. Except for one daily special, the dinner menu was the same for both nights. While the variety in the dinner buffet was appreciated, as a Hoshino Resort accommodation that often caters to multiple night stays, it would be nice if at least half of the menu changed daily. Also, it's surprising that no fruits were served despite being in Fukushima Prefecture. Room: Overall clean but lacking proper maintenance. The paper on the door was torn and shabby. Facility: Maintenance is insufficient. It’s known that this facility used to be another hotel before being acquired by Hoshino Resorts, but leaving a cracked toilet bowl unrepaired feels like staying at a budget hotel and is very disappointing. Toilet bowls don’t crack frequently; leaving it as-is gives an impression of neglect. Onsen: If you call yourself "Bandaisan Onsen Hotel," there should be an open-air bath (rotenburo). Couldn’t one be built in the courtyard-like space visible from the bath? If there’s only one bath available, perhaps just "Bandaisan Hotel" would suffice as a name. Also, if you add a sauna, having a cold plunge pool would enhance the experience. This aspect falls short compared to other hotels. Service: Satisfactory as expected from other Hoshino Resorts. Activities: Satisfactory like other Hoshino Resorts. The festival event? I could see it because I stayed Friday night but learned on-site that Saturday guests wouldn’t get to see it. Since some people only visit over weekends, holding this event on Fridays through Sundays might make more sense. Ski Area: Perhaps under separate management from the hotel? The adjacent restaurant offers typical ski area fare such as curry rice, ramen, and katsudon—nothing unique or representative of Fukushima Prefecture—and nothing particularly appealing either; I ended up taking a lift ride to find another place serving burgers instead. Additionally, offering half-day lift tickets would be appreciated—while 2 PM check-out allowing skiing on departure day is excellent service—there's no option besides full-day tickets even when skiing only in the morning!

    The previous one was better.

    I stayed here after a long time. I didn't know that I had to make a reservation for dinner in advance, so only early or late times were available. It would have been nice to receive some notice about this. The breakfast rice dish was delicious, but it was disappointing that there was no toaster to warm the bread, leaving only cold bread to eat. I wish there were more Western-style options. Dinner was delicious and enjoyable. The 2:00 PM checkout time was very convenient.

    We stayed here for a family snow leisure trip.

    【Guest Rooms & Facility】 The guest rooms and facility felt a bit dated, but they were kept clean and tidy. 【Onsen】 The large public bath was excellent. However, possibly due to the high number of users during the snow leisure season, the bath mat between the changing area and the bathing area was noticeably wet. Frequent replacement would have been appreciated. 【Meals】 I had both dinner and breakfast, which were very delicious. The variety of dishes was abundant, leaving me highly satisfied. For a hotel buffet-style meal, I think the quality is quite high. One disappointing point was that since I dined later in both dinner and breakfast hours, some dishes were not replenished, so there were items I couldn't try. It would be nice if even a small amount could be restocked for late diners like me. 【Service】 All staff members were kind and accommodating, making it comfortable even for families with children to stay here without worry. Since this trip's purpose was snow leisure activities, I greatly appreciated various accommodation perks such as relatively late check-out times and access to onsen after check-out as well as other thoughtful services provided during my stay. I would love to visit again!

    I used it for the first time. Compared to the number of guests, there was only an indoor bath, and the washing area was crowded. However, Aibase Odoransho was very enjoyable. Everyone was dancing with a smile. I wanted to hear a little more folk songs.
