    It was kind of “meh.”

    Given the age of the property, it may be unavoidable, but I was concerned about the many stains on the carpet. It was also disappointing to find hair left on the carpet. The service wasn’t bad, but there were several moments that made me pause, and nothing stood out as particularly good. I had high expectations because of the great location and a level of quality not usually found in business hotels, so I left feeling disappointed.

    I stayed on the first day of the latter half of Golden Week. I arrived before noon, but they kindly stored my luggage so I could enjoy sightseeing in the afternoon hands-free. They also kept my luggage after checkout, which was a huge help. On top of that, breakfast was delicious. When a Hotel provides great service, it makes for a fun trip that stays in your memory.

    More comfortable than before.

    A welcome coffee and snack station has been set up next to the front desk, adding to the enjoyment of our stay. The front desk also offers cold green tea, which is a thoughtful touch.

    More comfortable than before.

    A guests-only welcome room has been added next to the front desk, where we could enjoy coffee and more—it was very comfortable. We also had Al Porto’s signature sea urchin pasta, which was truly delicious and very satisfying. The chef also came by to greet us.

    Accommodation with a view of Mount Fuji...

    I chose this hotel as I needed to visit Shizuoka suddenly and wanted a room with a view of Mt. Fuji. However, my room was on the opposite side, and I couldn't see it at all, which was disappointing. At some hotels, rooms labeled as having a view of certain landmarks are slightly more expensive but truly offer the promised view. If you advertise "a view of Mt. Fuji," it feels unfair if guests arrive only to find that their room doesn't have the view. After breakfast, I went up to the 15th floor and enjoyed the beautiful scenery with Mt. Fuji in sight. The provided sleepwear was long in length, which made it uncomfortable for me as someone shorter in height—it would ride up while sleeping or become cumbersome when using the restroom. It wasn't very comfortable for sleeping overall.

    A convenient Hotel located just steps from the station, which was a great help in the heat. The courteous hospitality was satisfying. Looking forward to future improvements. If I may suggest, stronger water pressure for the shower and more variety in breakfast buffet dishes would be appreciated. Looking forward to my next stay!

    I recently stayed for two nights. A well-established local hotel commonly found near train stations in regional cities. Convenient location. While there were no major complaints, here are a few points to note: - The parking lot is the Parche Parking, but the section reserved for accommodation guests is not very spacious. Upon entering, there is a steep downhill slope which can be dangerous for low-clearance vehicles. - The smoking area has a designated smoking room with air conditioning and is comfortable; however, its location requires crossing the entire hotel building from one end to the other after exiting the guest room elevator, making it quite far. - Safety boxes in guest rooms vary depending on the type of room (not necessarily available only in higher-priced rooms). It’s advisable to check beforehand if you need one. The room I stayed in this time did not have one installed. Services such as borrowing a DVD recorder or having carts brought up to your room for carrying delivery boxes felt different from typical business hotels. I plan to stay here again when visiting Shizuoka.

    A very lovely Hotel close to the station

    With excellent access just steps from the Shinkansen station, you can reach without getting wet even on rainy days. The lobby is spacious and provides a very relaxing atmosphere. Additionally, the Hotel staff's exceptional hospitality made every situation comforting. As a healthcare professional working in the Shizuoka area, I found this to be a wonderful Hotel that I would love to use again in the future.

    Breakfast included?

    I stayed for one night. The location was very convenient, being close to the station, and the room was satisfactory. However, breakfast was served in a buffet style, and there were many guests from neighboring countries who did not follow the order, causing a noisy and chaotic atmosphere. I couldn't enjoy my meal peacefully and left early. It ruined my mood for the morning. I regretted not making a Reservation without breakfast included. While I understand it may be difficult for staff to address such behavior as they are also customers, I hope some measures can be considered to improve this situation.

    A historic Hotel near the station

    I stayed in a Standard Single room last Friday. Since I was debating between driving or taking the bullet train for my golf trip, I chose your hotel because of its proximity to the station. However, as I checked in around 9:00 PM and checked out by 7:00 AM the next morning, my actual stay was less than 8 hours, so it's hard to give a full assessment. That said, here are some points I noticed: Firstly, the parking location might be difficult to find for non-locals. Also, while it may be understandable for a business hotel, considering this is a central city hotel often used for banquets and events—even with discounts—the parking fee felt slightly high. Additionally, the Lawson convenience store closed at 10:00 PM. It would have been helpful if this information had been provided in advance. The facility felt slightly dated but was clean and functional. There were many group travelers and banquet guests during my stay, which suggests that this is indeed a well-regarded hotel. While it’s not directly comparable to Nihondaira Hotel within the same city due to their different styles, staying here seems like a reliable choice overall.

    Comfortable!!

    They upgraded our Room, and we were able to spend comfortably in a spacious and clean Room. We enjoyed the night at the BAR, and had lunch at Al Porto the next day. The view of Mt. Fuji from the top floor was spectacular after a rainy day, and the service was excellent. It's close to the station, so I would like to use it again.

    Thank you for accommodating our sudden request to extend our stay. The front desk and staff were very efficient, which made us happy. However, the restaurant seemed a bit rushed, possibly wanting to finish early, so we deducted one star for that.

    A bit disappointing

    The location is good and I think the Room is also good. However, perhaps due to the old-fashioned central heating, it was extremely cold, and my feet were freezing. Also, breakfast is quite expensive compared to other Business Hotels, but it was not worth the price.

    The only issue is that the Wi-Fi speed is too slow...

    I used to stay with my children often, but this was my first stay in a while. The front desk staff were very courteous and left a good impression. The room had three beds this time, so it was comfortable for my husband, our 10-year-old, 6-year-old, and 2-year-old. It was especially helpful that we could push two beds together, so we didn't have to worry about the children falling off the bed. The amenities were plentiful, with lotion, emulsion, face wash, and cleansing oil available at the front desk during check-in, which we could freely take to the room. It was especially nice to have bath additives! In the morning, complimentary morning coffee was available for guests in the lobby from 7 to 11 a.m. (I didn't know about this, so it would have been even better if I had been informed at check-in.) From the room window, you can see the Shinkansen and the night view. There is a Lawson on the first floor, so it was convenient to use it anytime when needed. The only disappointment was the slowness of the Wifi. It was so slow that it was very stressful. I was surprised because I hadn't experienced such slow internet at other hotels or ryokans recently. I would appreciate it if you could address this issue.

    The view of Mt. Fuji was visible from the Room.

    Although Mount Fuji is not right in front of us, it was more visible than expected and we are satisfied. Room maintenance was well done. Breakfast was delicious, and thank you for promptly assisting when it was difficult to get the food. It would have been nice if the pajamas were separate.

    Annual business trip to Shizuoka

    I also used it last year. Adjacent to the station, the area around the Hotel has everything you need, making it a very convenient Hotel. The staff are also wonderful. I would like to use it again next time. Thank you very much.

    I think it's a good Hotel, but

    It seems to have been renovated, and the interior is clean. However, the cups were not washed (dirty), there was a long hair in the refillable shampoo bottle, and there was dust on the floor, so the cleaning was not quite satisfactory. (It might not be noticeable at first glance) I think it is the best Hotel near Shizuoka Station, so I hope it is properly managed and operated. I believe there is a reason for the slightly low rating.

    I stayed for a multiple night stay alone. I couldn't reserve a single room for two nights due to full occupancy, and I thought I had no choice but to move rooms for the second night by reserving a twin room. However, thanks to the consideration of the front desk staff, I was able to change to a universal room, which is a wheelchair-accessible twin room, allowing me to stay for two consecutive nights. Thanks to this, I didn't have the hassle of packing up my luggage and leaving it at the front desk, and I was able to relax and enjoy my stay. Thank you very much.
