    The staff were very ...

    The staff were very courteous, and the Room was clean. The bathroom was also spacious, so I could relax. At check-in, women received a one-day skincare set as a gift, and everyone was given thick hand wipes and discount coupons for the on-site restaurant, which was great. When I asked at the Western-style restaurant where we had dinner if they had tea, they kindly went out of their way to bring some from the Japanese restaurant, and I felt sorry for the trouble. If I have a chance to visit Kure again, I would definitely like to stay here again.

    When it comes to Kure, this is the place.

    I only stay a few times a year, but this is my only choice. Lately I’ve always stayed on the top-floor level, and everything is wonderful—the Room interior, amenities, complimentary items in the refrigerator, and the staff’s smiles. Also, I like that breakfast is a set menu rather than the typical buffet. Above all, it’s a very comfortable Hotel. I’ll definitely stay again.

    A relaxing space.

    Kure Hankyu is my favorite Hotel. When I arrive at Kure Station, I’m welcomed by the Hotel building on the right side of the station plaza and the warm smiles of the front desk staff. This is my “place to unwind.” 　Above all, this Hotel’s breakfast is outstanding. Choose either a Japanese set meal or a Western set meal, and then it’s time to say, “Let’s eat!”

    It was a great trip.

    I chose a Plan on the premium floor, and the Room was clean with a great view from a high floor. Since the Facility in Kure was nearby, I was able to enjoy many things and had a wonderful trip.

    I had a pleasant stay.

    Overall, everything was great. We only used the breakfast service, but the attentive hospitality had a real sense of refinement. My partner ordered the anago rice for breakfast and said it was even better than a famous restaurant listed in the Miyajima Michelin Guide. I slightly regret not having dinner here. The complimentary women’s skincare pouch set was a lovely touch! One thing that concerned me: the shower curtain in the Room had a very strong odor. After using lots of deodorizing spray from inside the closet, it improved quite a bit. Thank you very much.

    It was conveniently located right in front of the station, and the front desk staff were very kind. The Facility had a calm European style; it isn’t new, but everything was well maintained and created a comfortable atmosphere. I hope you will continue to preserve this kind of Hotel.

    I have stayed here whenever I visit Kure for the past 20 years. Breakfast is served at the 14th-floor restaurant, and both the view and the menu were excellent. Thank you for kindly accommodating my requests. I was completely satisfied with every aspect.

    Highly recommended Hotel!

    Soon after boarding the Kure Line from Hiroshima Station, the Seto Inland Sea at sunset came into view right before my eyes. Before I knew it, we arrived at Kure Station. As soon as I exited the ticket gates, the Hotel was right in front of me. The staff’s warm smiles were reassuring, and not only the Room but also the hallways and shared areas were spotless and well maintained, making my stay very comfortable. Although I didn’t have a Reservation for dinner, they were able to serve me a meal, which was a big help. Even if you don’t have business in Kure, it’s better value than staying in central Hiroshima! I’m not affiliated with them—just a guest—but that’s honestly how I felt.

    A wonderful Hotel.

    I started using this Hotel after my elderly mother moved to a senior residence in Kure. The staff's hospitality, the comfort of the clean and spacious Room, and the reasonable pricing make it an impeccable Hotel. The restaurant at the Hotel is delicious, and there are plenty of shops nearby, offering various choices. It's hard to believe you can stay at a Hotel of this level for such a price—it’s incredible value for money. I hope it continues like this for a long time!

    It was very comfortable.

    I stayed with my elementary school-aged child, and the breakfast service was excellent, with staff treating children very kindly. The hotel was also impeccably clean, making our stay comfortable. When I made a request, the immediate response of "Of course" was something simple yet rare to experience, showing how well-trained the staff are. My first visit to Kure became an even more wonderful memory thanks to this accommodation. I hope to visit again if I have another opportunity.

    Luxury

    The lobby and room exuded luxury and elegance. This Hotel is perfect for solo travelers. The breakfast was relaxing and enjoyable. The bathroom in the Room was spacious, which was great, but having access to a large public bath (available for an additional fee) would make the experience even better. It would be wonderful if single-use tickets were offered as well.

    I had a relaxing stay.

    On the day of the stay, I attended a reunion at the same hotel and stayed overnight. Although it was a single room, the layout was spacious, and the cleanliness was impeccable, allowing for a very comfortable stay. The front desk service was excellent, and while it is slightly pricey for a rural area, I was extremely satisfied.

    The facility, though old, was kept clean, and the reception staff provided excellent service, making the stay comfortable. The BGM in the room featured nostalgic old songs from overseas, which helped me relax and sleep well at night. I would love to stay at this hotel again if I have the chance. Thank you very much.

    I used the Ladies' Plan alone. It was a scenic top floor. I was happy to have a single seat prepared for breakfast. It was a comfortable one-night, two-day stay. Thank you very much.

    The light switch can be slightly difficult to locate.

    The service was excellent and the stay was very comfortable. If I had to point out one thing, the light switches were only located at each light source, making it inconvenient to turn them off from the bedside before sleeping.

    A hotel with a nostalgic bubble-era atmosphere.

    Opened in 1994, the architecture retains a sense of the bubble era, which is now considered rare. The luxurious chandeliers and extensive marble interiors reflect the prosperity of that time. The room was impeccably clean, and amenities were well-stocked, ensuring a comfortable stay.

    It was a Hotel full of hospitality.

    This was my second stay in Kure this year. My previous visit was in February last year, but the accommodation was fully booked at that time, so I stayed elsewhere. This time, I enjoyed a 2-night, 3-day stay from April 3rd to April 5th. Last year, I happened to learn that my mother's father's younger brother (who passed away at the age of 20) had been a crew member on the battleship Yamato. Although I couldn't attend the "Yamato Memorial Service" on April 7th due to certain circumstances, I decided to visit Kure just before that date. The location of the accommodation was excellent and made it convenient for visiting various places. I also appreciated the thoughtful plan where all beverages in the room's refrigerator were complimentary. During this trip, I learned that Kure City is the setting for "In This Corner of The World." The hotel offered a plan where guests could borrow all three volumes of its original manga for free. I read them immediately during my stay and finished all three volumes in one day. Afterward, I watched its movie in my room and explored Kure City the next day—making it a fulfilling trip. On our final day (April 5th), we attended an event at "Houhai-kan," located near "Aret Karasukojima," where we listened to stories from survivors of battleship Yamato. It was meaningful to hear about their experiences here in Kure City—the place tied closely with those memories. The breakfast served by this accommodation was exceptional! Each meal set served individually left me impressed with their service style. On Day One, we chose Japanese cuisine featuring conger eel; on Day Two, Western-style breakfast stood out with delicious salad dressing and yogurt topped with citrus jam (likely lemon). I'd love if they sold these items! The staff—from experienced members to younger ones—provided calm and outstanding hospitality throughout our stay. When "Yamato Museum" reopens someday again—I’d love another visit here! Also noteworthy: curry dishes available at their first-floor restaurant were delightful; next time around—I’ll try different varieties!

    Service: Average, neither good nor bad. Room: Clean but feels outdated. No card key system. No instructions for the bathroom faucet, making it confusing to use and resulting in an uncomfortable experience due to difficulty switching settings. Extremely inconvenient. Overall lighting is dim with no adjustment options. Used during a business trip but unlikely to return for a second stay.

    It was excellent.

    It was my first time visiting Kure City, and I stayed at this Hotel. The location was very convenient, being close to the station. The staff were friendly, and even after checking out, they kindly allowed me to use the changing room after attending a memorial service, which was very helpful. For breakfast, I could choose between Japanese or Western-style meals instead of a buffet, and I enjoyed it calmly and deliciously. Thank you very much. I would love to stay here again!

    Teppanyaki Restaurant

    Teppanyaki Furutaka We used it for dinner with relatives gathered for a memorial service. The portions were just right for the elderly, and we enjoyed the delicious meal. The counter seats allowed us to see everyone's faces comfortably, making it pleasant for a private gathering. The view from the seats was also nice, allowing for a harmonious meal. It became a good memory. The front desk staff kindly accommodated changes in the number of reservations and time, and they were very helpful.

    Morning delights during a business trip to Kure City, Hiroshima Prefecture.

    Every time I go on a business trip to Kure, I use the Hankyu Hotel. In recent years, the breakfast venue has been changed to a location on the 14th floor where you can enjoy a panoramic view of Kure's port, allowing me to enjoy breakfast while taking in the scenery.

    I used it for the first time at the year-end party. Going out is possible 24 hours a day. In addition to being close to the station, it is within walking distance to the downtown area, and there is a taxi stand adjacent. You can also watch YouTube and movies in the Room. Next time, I would like to try using the restaurant as well.

    Convenient location for getting around, and the 12 o'clock checkout is very helpful. The seasonal kaiseki cuisine was delicious and enjoyable. I would like to use it again.
