    The building is old, but this Hotel reflects dedication and pride.

    About a 3-minute walk from Sakae Exit 1, with great access and a convenience store on the first floor, making it very convenient. The front desk staff are welcoming and hospitable. The housekeeping staff also greet you when you pass them, which makes for a pleasant stay. It’s not a new Hotel, but you can feel the team’s effort and pride, and I’m always satisfied. Thank you.

    I finally got to try...

    I finally got to try the breakfast this time. Since it’s Nagoya, I expected bold seasoning, but the natural flavors of the ingredients really stood out, which was wonderful. There happened to be a guest who seemed unfamiliar with the breakfast service, and the staff supported them with great care as well. It reminded me again that this Hotel truly offers heartfelt service.

    A Hotel That Exceeds Expectations

    I stayed here to visit Vantelin Dome. Access to the dome was excellent, and the Hotel is right in the heart of Sakae’s downtown area—close to both the station and bus stops, which made it truly convenient. It also felt like a Hotel that offers more than its price suggests, and I thought, “This really is Daiichi Hotel.” First of all, all the staff were very pleasant, and they even delivered my luggage—left with them before check-in—to my Room in advance. The building, Room, furniture, and beds were all solidly built; the Room was spacious with no sense of being cramped at all. The table, bathroom, and sink area were also roomy and easy to use. While the building itself isn’t new by any means, it was clean, well stocked with amenities, and very comfortable. Sakae is extremely convenient; however, I was honestly taken aback by how much litter there was—unbelievable even compared with other cities’ downtown areas—and to be frank I don’t really want to get too close. Still, the great access to Vantelin Dome and how good this Hotel is outweigh that for me, so I’d like to make this my regular Accommodation when attending games in Nagoya.

    It was very good.

    [What I liked] - I left my luggage before check-in, and by the time I checked in it had already been delivered to my Room (it’s been a while since I experienced this, as I usually stay at Business Hotels). - There was always someone at the front desk, and they made me feel at ease. When I asked questions, they explained everything very carefully—not just answering what I asked, but also offering additional helpful information and service. - The housekeeping staff greeted me properly and were consistently attentive (they even pressed the elevator button for me). - The Room was very quiet, and I had a comfortable stay. [Other notes] - This is just a request, but I would have appreciated one more hand towel. - This is minor, but the cleaning quality concerned me slightly (dust had collected where the clock was placed, and there was hair near the edge of the bathroom). - There are not many built-in power outlets near the mirror (though an extension power strip was provided). The Hotel is located right in the middle of an entertainment district, so the nighttime surroundings outside are not very pleasant (and there is a surprising amount of trash and cigarette butts). For families with children returning late at night, this may be a bit difficult. Otherwise, it’s not too far from the station, there’s a Yamazaki Daily Store on the first floor, and overall it was convenient and very good—so I recommend it. I would definitely like to stay again.

    It was great.

    I stayed for three nights. Although the price is comparable to a Business Hotel, the staff were very helpful and the breakfast was good. It is located in a lively downtown area, and there was a 24-hour convenience store on the first floor. There is also a coin laundry, which was convenient.

    My go-to Accommodation in Nagoya

    I’ve stayed here three times—twice in a twin room and once in a double—and I’ve been satisfied every time. It’s close to the station, making it very convenient for dining out and shopping, yet the hotel itself is quiet and relaxing. The bed firmness suits my preference and feels comfortable on my body even while lying down, and the bathroom is spacious enough to stretch out and soak in the tub. The female staff member at the front desk also had a wonderful smile. I’d love to stay here again when I visit Nagoya.

    As it was the day after my birthday, I stayed in an upgraded Room. It really is a well-run Hotel. I had been staying at a domestic Resort Hotel until the day before, but my overall satisfaction was almost the same. If anything, the service and hospitality here felt better. It’s not flashy, but it has the warm, fundamental touches done right—I was reminded of that again. Thank you again, and I look forward to staying with you next time.\nNext time, I’m thinking of trying the breakfast.

    Tokyo Daiichi Hotel Nishiki, an almost flawless high-value Hotel.

    I decided to make a reservation after seeing it recommended in a YouTuber's Nagoya travel video and noticing the high ratings on IKYU. After staying, I was extremely satisfied. Here are the three points I was particularly happy with: 1. Convenient access from the subway "Sakae" station 2. A convenience store located on the first floor 3. Well-equipped guest room facilities If I have another chance to visit Nagoya, I would definitely choose "Tokyo Daiichi Hotel Nishiki" again!

    Deluxe Single offers spacious comfort.

    This was my first time staying in a Deluxe Single. It costs about 30% more, but with 22 square meters compared to the usual 17, it feels significantly more spacious. The bathtub is large enough to stretch your legs, and there’s plenty of room in the closet as well. For a four-day stay, this makes a surprisingly big difference. Daily cleaning and bed-making services are also provided—something rare for business hotels in Sakae.

    Hotel located in the downtown area

    Located in the bustling Sakae district, it was very lively at night. Despite the liveliness, the Hotel was very quiet and allowed for a restful stay. For parking, we used the adjacent Land Park, but since it is a mechanical parking system, it was crowded during check-in and check-out times and took some time. A multi-story parking lot a bit further away might be more convenient. As for the Room, there is no freezer, which can be inconvenient in summer. It was disappointing not to be able to enjoy ice cream in the Room at any time after purchasing it. Other than that, we were mostly satisfied with our stay.

    Convenient for watching games at Vantelin Dome

    Convenient for visiting Vantelin Dome. Check-in: 2:00 PM, Check-out: 11:00 AM. Parking available (vehicle height limit: 155cm). 24-hour Yamazaki Daily Store on the first floor. Close to Sakae Station via subway, with a back route to Vantelin Dome. From Sakae Bus Center, take Route 2 to Kayaba Bus Stop for quick and easy access. A supermarket is located between the bus stop and the stadium. Hotel breakfast is served either on the 11th or 2nd floor; please check your meal ticket for details. Nagoya-style dishes have decreased recently, but noodle options would be appreciated! Convenient lunch options nearby include Sugakiya Ramen. Perfect for your visit to Vantelin Dome!

If you choose No Meals Included and want to try "Nagoya Morning" outside, the staff will provide a map and offer detailed advice. Thank you to the front desk for your assistance! The Room had a solid and business-like feel, was not cramped, and was comfortable. As for amenities, similar to other hotels in this price range recently, they were limited here as well.

    Close to downtown

    Close to the downtown area, with the advantage of early check-in, but there were no other notable points this time. The Hotel itself is old, and it was disappointing that there were issues such as the Room's toilet bidet not functioning properly, indicating a lack of maintenance in Room facilities.

    Recently, many place...

    Recently, many places have switched to automated check-in due to staff reductions, but I stayed at a Hotel with a proper reception for the first time in a while. It gave me a sense of reassurance. I stayed for two nights, and the Room cleaning was thorough, making it very pleasant. Since it was a double Room, the bathtub allowed me to stretch my legs straight out, which was very relaxing! However, the bedding was thin and light; I woke up feeling cold and stiff, which was unfortunate. I would love to stay here again!

    Consistently excellent staff

    I stay here a few times a year when visiting Nagoya. The room is clean, and it’s a quiet accommodation where I can rest peacefully. This time, the weather was bad, and when I requested a taxi at checkout, the staff ran to the entrance to secure one for me. I appreciate their effort to minimize my waiting time.     The Legacy of Shimbashi Daiichi Hotel

    The rate was very affordable, but Daiichi Hotel is truly a Daiichi Hotel. I was satisfied with the proper Facility and front desk service expected of a genuine Hotel.

    A bit old-fashioned charm.

    Conveniently located near the station, this Hotel offers city hotel-level services with excellent cost performance. The Room is approximately 17 square meters, providing a comfortable space to relax. However, there are limited power outlets, and the closet could be slightly larger due to the room's layout. At around ¥7K, it is a highly satisfactory choice.

    I always stay at Dai...

    I always stay at Daiichi Hotel whenever I visit Nagoya recently. The cost performance is excellent, and although I may have stayed multiple times, the staff's service is consistently outstanding. They understood my requests in advance, which was very helpful. The hotel is close to Sakae Station and conveniently located next to a convenience store for small purchases. There are also several convenience stores near the hotel, so there’s no issue with accessibility. Although not an issue with the hotel itself, there are many solicitors between Sakae Station and the hotel late at night who approach passersby. This can be a bit bothersome; I hope local authorities can address this as it feels like being in the middle of Kabukicho.

    City Hotel-style Business Hotel

    The Standard Twin room was spacious and comfortable. The bath, toilet, and sink were not the typical unit bath found in business hotels but rather similar to those in city hotels—spacious and well-designed. There was also a powder room. On the first floor, there is a 24-hour Yamazaki Daily Store, which is very convenient. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of options and was enjoyable; however, it would be great if lettuce or broccoli were included as main salad ingredients. This time, I stayed here for a game at Vantelin Dome. To get to Vantelin Dome conveniently, take the Key Route 2 bus from Sakae Bus Terminal and get off at Kayaba stop. I plan to stay here again for future games at Vantelin Dome. Having Don Quijote nearby is also a plus!

    A Hotel with a Relaxing Atmosphere

    This was my first stay, and I used the Casual Twin room with No Meals Included. The street in front of the Hotel is lively, but once you step inside, it has a calm and relaxing atmosphere. The room felt spacious with well-thought-out arrangements of the bed, sofa, and other furniture. The staff at the front desk were very kind and attentive, leaving a positive impression.

    Convenient and comfortable

    A convenient location just a 2-minute walk from Sakae Station. Having a convenience store on the first floor is also handy. The front desk is relatively spacious and has an open feel.     Best location in the center of Nagoya City.

    A city hotel conveniently located about a 4-minute walk from Sakae Subway Station. Excellent staff from the long-established Daiichi Hotel era remain, providing first-class hotel service. Since overcoming COVID-19, the surrounding environment, once a high-end bar district (like Akasaka or Kita-Shinchi), has completely changed, but accommodation costs have become more reasonable. If transportation access is important, you will likely return here.
