    Even though it was summer, we had a great time.

    It had been unbearably hot for so long that I didn’t feel like going anywhere, but I thought a hotel staycation would be enjoyable, so I decided to make a Reservation. The chilled hand towels on arrival and the ice-filled ice bucket provided during turndown were thoughtful touches—especially appreciated in summer. It was also my first time trying lounge hopping, and I miscalculated by eating too much and ending up uncomfortably full at dinner… Still, I enjoyed strolling around the garden inside the Hotel and had a very satisfying stay.

    The price has increased.

    It’s about 60,000 yen without breakfast—an inbound tourism bubble. The Room cleaning is poor: there’s dust and trash in the corners, the toilet smells, and the shower nozzle is covered in mold like in the photo. Terrible. The Room is spacious, with a separate bathtub and shower, and a separate toilet—which would be great—but this is completely unacceptable. Disappointing.

    This is my favorite Hotel.

    I was very satisfied with the Room size, location, staff service, and both the quality and variety of the breakfast. It would have been perfect if we had been informed at last order that the dishes would be cleared away.

    A green oasis in the heart of the city

    This was my first stay here. It’s not cheap, but the Room is spacious, and it’s great that the bath and toilet are separate. What really stands out is the location. Despite being close to the station, there’s a Japanese garden right in front with plenty of greenery and a quiet atmosphere. Takanawa Gateway is less than a 10-minute walk away, and Shinagawa Prince Hotel’s bowling and other activities are also within about a 10-minute walk, so both kids and adults could fully enjoy themselves. We also used the restaurant for an anniversary, and we were very satisfied—not only with the food, but also with the seating and service. I’d like to stay again.

    They were very pleased.

    I gave my daughter and her husband, both in their 20s, an Accommodation stay with the Club Lounge Plan as a gift to celebrate the birth of their baby. We, the grandparents, looked after the baby so the couple could relax and enjoy some time together. From check-in, they received a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine from the Hotel to celebrate the birth, and they were truly touched by the warm hospitality. They said it was great fun to stroll through the gardens while visiting the Club Lounge. I’m glad they enjoyed it even more than I expected. I’m posting this in hopes that many others will have a wonderful stay at this Hotel. Thank you very much.

    This was my second s...

    This was my second stay, and just like last time, the staff were very friendly, making my stay comfortable. The Room was spacious enough, and it was quiet, so I was able to sleep peacefully and relax.

    It was very relaxing.

    As expected of the Prince Hotel. The most relaxing part was the bubble bath in the Room. I had been feeling tired all over lately, but the bubble bath revived me all at once. After that, I slept soundly and felt truly refreshed. Also, there were so many items I wanted at the Western-style breakfast buffet that I ended up eating until I was completely full. Since there were many international guests, I felt it was mainly Western-focused. Everything was very delicious, and I was happy with the kind service from the staff. Thank you very much.

    Friendly Hotel

    Staying for my elderly mother's birthday or celebration. I plan to visit the spa, while my mother looks forward to enjoying the views, garden walks, free-flow drinks, and Sakura restaurant. The Room with a jet bath is also quite unique. This Hotel maintains high hospitality standards even during the pre- and post-COVID period and with the increase in inbound tourism. The restaurant is delicious and highly recommended. It's perfect for a stay-in experience where you can enjoy everything within the Hotel. For those who can walk around, there are plenty of restaurants at Shin Takanawa or Takanawa Prince Hotels nearby for exploration as well.

    Functional Room and Well-Equipped Lounge

    It was my first stay at Sakura Tower in a while, and I truly appreciated the warm towel and assistance with luggage during check-in, especially as I was traveling with an elderly companion. The lounge offered a delightful Italian-themed menu during both café time and cocktail time, making for a very comfortable experience. Despite being busy on Sunday, the staff's efficient guidance ensured minimal waiting time. The renovated lounge without steps was also a reassuring feature for elderly guests. Due to the cold weather, we ended up staying indoors but were able to relax and refresh at our own pace. The room's separate bath and toilet setup, along with the sliding door and barrier-free bathroom equipped with plenty of handrails, were incredibly helpful. I look forward to visiting again when it gets warmer. Thank you for your hospitality!

    Always a satisfying stay.

    The staff's attentiveness is always excellent at this Hotel. I was able to relax and enjoy the New Year holidays. The turndown service by the foreign staff was also pleasant.

    Spacious and comfortable, a guest favorite.

    Within walking distance from Shinagawa Station, the Room is spacious and comfortable. It will likely become even more convenient once the station area construction is completed.

    New Year's Holiday

    We stayed as two families and had a wonderful time. It was so relaxing, and every time we visit, we feel like coming back again. It snowed a little at night. We love the cozy atmosphere here.

    Grand-scale Facility

    Including Takanawa and Shin-Takanawa Prince Hotels, which share Sakura Tower and the garden, this is a significantly large Hotel with numerous restaurants, lounges, and other Facilities to enjoy. I had lunch at the lounge in Takanawa Prince, dinner at the Chinese restaurant in Shin-Takanawa Prince, and an Italian breakfast buffet at Sakura Tower—all of which were high-quality and very satisfying.

    Does not disappoint expectations

    The review is a bit ...

    The review is a bit late, but it was excellent. I had a comfortable stay. Although I had never stayed here in Takanawa before, the room was so great that I wish I had tried it earlier. During breakfast at the restaurant, the manager (a woman) was kind to my wife, making it an enjoyable meal. The Sakura Tower Club Lounge wasn’t crowded, so we enjoyed some beer and other drinks. This place and Hanakohro are wonderful, so we plan to visit again. Thank you for your hospitality!

    Last time, I stayed ...

    Last time, I stayed at Hanakaji, so this time I chose Sakura Tower. With this stay, I've completed all the nearby Prince Hotels. Since it was a special occasion, I opted for the Executive Floor. The room offered a view of Shinagawa Station; however, due to ongoing redevelopment in front of the station, the scenery wasn't great—this was my only disappointment. It seems that by 2030, a commercial facility with hotels and other establishments will be built in front of it; I wonder how the view will change. The room felt slightly dated but was well-maintained and had no issues. I was delighted to find welcome sweets in the refrigerator. There were only two bottles of water provided in the room without any replenishment during turndown service. Perhaps due to many guests staying at the accommodation, when I returned to my room around 8 PM after dining at the lounge, turndown service was still ongoing. However, it only involved bed-making without replenishing coffee or water—I had to request these separately. While staying on an Executive Floor comes with lounge access as its main perk, it didn't feel particularly special overall—but hopping between lounges was enjoyable nonetheless. Breakfast was served at a restaurant where staff members were very kind and attentive (as others have mentioned). Unfortunately, though—the state of Japanese rice left much to be desired: there was barely one serving left in its container—and even then—it wasn’t tasty! Other dishes were delicious though—I hope they improve this aspect soon! Overall—it turned out being quite satisfying stay!

    It was a comfortable stay.

    Our family of four, including a one-year-old, stayed at the accommodation. The room was comfortable, and the service was attentive and excellent. We were able to borrow a hair iron in advance, and the amenities were beautifully unified with a cherry blossom theme. On an extremely hot day with an outside temperature of 38 degrees Celsius, we appreciated finding ice prepared in the ice pail upon entering the room, allowing us to enjoy cold water immediately. Thank you for your thoughtful hospitality.

    Refresh on your special day.

    This summer marks our third stay for anniversaries. No matter how many times we stay, it always becomes the best day. Sakura Tower is undoubtedly the best in the Takanawa area. The mist sauna refreshes a tired body. We plan to stay again next year if our schedule allows!

    Oh my!

    Last month, I left a negative review about the meal at Ciliegiolo, specifically the Caesar salad with prosciutto. This time, I ordered the same dish again and was pleasantly surprised—the Caesar salad had become more luxurious. The portion was no longer overly large but elegantly sized, and instead of prosciutto, it featured proper jerky along with additional ingredients like boiled eggs. It tasted significantly better than before. I haven’t dared to visit the Club Lounge yet—has its content also been updated? Has there been any change to Ciliegiolo's breakfast as well? I plan to check next time. Regarding the cutlet dish that I criticized last month—has this also been improved? I'll look into it during my next visit.

    Hmm...

    First of all, the claim of being a 3-minute walk from the station is incorrect! It took a full 6 minutes, and possibly longer with luggage. For someone like me who prioritizes "within a 5-minute walk from the station" when choosing accommodation in the city center, this was already out of consideration. Feeling deceived, I checked in. The skincare set in the amenities was only for one person despite being booked for two (luckily I brought my own). At first, I thought it might have been forgotten, but even on the second night, there was only enough for one person—eco-friendly perhaps?! The closet drawers had dust and hair... This is my second experience with this hotel chain, but there won’t be a third.

    Stayed here after a ...

    Stayed here after a long time. Despite the intense heat, I was able to relax in the spacious room. The underground jacuzzi was perfect for relieving fatigue. I would love to stay again if I have the chance.

    A Hotel That Fulfills All Your Wishes

    As a returning guest, I brought my mother, who cannot travel far, to enjoy the trees, koi fish, nature and illuminations, delicious meals, a Room with a jet bath for her and the sauna for me. The Hotel staff are incredibly kind. Even when I pushed her wheelchair in the garden (though there are some rocky paths), other guests like young couples kindly offered help—a truly wonderful atmosphere. The restaurant "Cilieggio" offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner that exceed expectations in taste and value. For me, Sakura is the best Hotel in Tokyo!

    Accommodation

    I have used this accommodation several times and am very satisfied with the location, service, and cleanliness. The staff's response is also courteous, and I was able to stay with peace of mind while traveling with my elderly mother. I look forward to using it again next time.

    Value beyond the price

    The staff are very friendly and welcoming. You can feel the spirit of hospitality from the lobby to each restaurant, spa, and more. The Room is spacious enough and comfortable. For dinner within the Prince premises, Wakadake for tempura and Katsura for teppanyaki are both incredibly delicious. The bathing Facility includes a sauna but no cold bath; for those who enjoy saunas, this might be disappointing. I personally don't use saunas, so it wasn't an issue for me. The relaxation room even has massage chairs! However, it's often busy with people, so I haven't had a chance to use them yet. The entire building is clean and has a pleasant fragrance throughout. I look forward to staying here again!

    The meals are poor, but the Room is spacious and nice.

    The breakfast at Sakura Tower is almost the same every day, which gets boring. The only good thing is the cilantro available for congee, but other than that, there’s nothing positive to mention. It’s still much better than the club lounge across the way. If you’re on a Multiple Night Stay, I recommend having breakfast at Seven in Grand Prince Takanawa instead. Please change the menu. With that impression in mind, I randomly decided to try dinner here. While inbound tourists were noisy at the counter, table seating was available. I had a bad feeling it would be similar to breakfast—but some dishes were somewhat edible. I ordered Caesar salad with prosciutto; however, the prosciutto was dried out like jerky and hard as a rock. They should rename it "Caesar Salad with Jerky." Pasta dishes are somewhat decent; cutlets are not terrible but lack something special—they bulked it up with salad on top but charging 5,000 yen for this is outrageous—it’s worth no more than 3,000 yen at best. The meat was over-pounded and tough with zero fat content; seasoning was generic and uninspiring—no wow factor whatsoever. They should add more cheese or even pour tomato sauce over it instead of unnecessary salad—adding ratatouille would make it look luxurious too. Overall: soups salty; Caesar salty; beef salty—it’s all overly seasoned as if catering to manual laborers! Please tone down the saltiness. Breakfast isn’t worth eating here; dinner might be acceptable only when you have no other choice. Unfortunately, there are hardly any good dining options in this Prince Village overall—the top floor of Shinagawa Prince Hotel might be somewhat interesting though. Sakura Tower is supposed to be a flagship within this village—I sincerely hope they improve both their lounge and restaurant offerings soon... But well—now that GIC runs Prince Hotels under foreign management—I doubt such Reviews will lead to any improvement... Disappointing indeed!

    With elementary school-aged children

    This time, I chose a plan without meals as I was staying with my elementary school-aged grandchild. When I first went to the front desk, a very pleasant woman assisted me with the check-in process. It was an extremely hot day, but she kindly brought me a hand towel while completing the procedure. I found this service very thoughtful and appreciated it greatly. She maintained a warm smile throughout our interaction. The room was also excellent. The only disappointment was the jacuzzi in the bathroom of our room that we had been looking forward to using. Perhaps it was just my lack of understanding on how to use it, but the water didn’t get very hot and cooled down quickly. Recently, many hotels seem to suffer from staff shortages or insufficient training, leading to unpleasant customer service experiences that can ruin an otherwise good stay regardless of delicious meals or nice rooms. However, thanks to the wonderful smile and excellent hospitality of the front desk staff at this hotel, I would definitely like to stay here again!

    Comfortable Stay

    I usually stay at the Grand Prince Hotel Takanawa and the Grand Prince Hotel New Takanawa, but this time I stayed at The Prince Sakura Tower Tokyo, Autograph Collection for the first time. From the entrance, it exuded a truly luxurious atmosphere, and the staff were absolutely wonderful. Thank you very much for a comfortable stay. It was also great to be able to visit three different lounges. I had lunch and breakfast at Ristorante Café Ciliegio, and both were very delicious. The attentiveness of the staff made my experience even more pleasant. Thank you very much!

    Overall, we are satisfied, but...

    I used it for the first time in a while. Overall, I was satisfied with the Room, service, and hospitality, but I was concerned about the smell in the hallway from the elevator to the Room (this stay was on the 9th floor). I'm not sure about other floors, but it was quite noticeable. I think I will use it again, so I hope this can be addressed.
