    I was satisfied.

    I stayed in a double Room for single use, and the location is convenient, close to the station. The Room was also pleasantly quiet. I would appreciate it even more if it were a bit easier to work on a PC. The staff’s hospitality was excellent. The female staff member at the breakfast venue had a very refreshing smile. It was a little disappointing that there was no natto at breakfast.

    You can enjoy the welcome drink in your Room. We appreciate the staff for carefully pouring the draft beer. We would have liked a deodorizing spray during this season. Breakfast was average.

    Renovated classic Hotel

    With the ongoing redevelopment around Nagoya Station, the entrance was very hard to find. The amenities and in-Room items felt like Mercure, but it seemed like a renovation of an older Hotel, and the elevator, lobby, dining area, and desk in the Room all had an outdated feel. The air-conditioning panel was also old, giving the impression of staying at a long-established old-style Hotel, which didn’t match my image of Mercure. Breakfast also had limited variety—about the same as a Business Hotel, or possibly less. The coffee was served from a pot rather than an espresso machine, so there were no options like cappuccino. It was around 8:00 a.m., but there wasn’t anyone in the breakfast area; I felt it would have been fine to skip breakfast. We stayed as three guests; the extra bed was large but had spring mattress comfort and wasn’t comfortable to sleep on. The regular beds were comfortable. Overall it felt disappointing for the price, but since we found availability on short notice due to sudden travel plans, I suppose it couldn’t be helped. The staff were polite; rather than dissatisfaction with service, my impression was simply that it didn’t match the photos. I think a newer Business Hotel would likely be more satisfying.

    Overall, the impression was positive.

    This was my second stay. My previous visit was about five years ago, and at that time the property still felt like a converted building in places. This time, the Room interior seemed to have been updated regularly, and the age of the building felt minimal. The only concern in the Room was that the toilet flushing lever was loose, and it wasn’t clear which direction to turn it. Since this toilet fixture is a very high-end type, that’s a real shame—I strongly recommend improving how the lever feels and operates. More and more low-priced Business Hotels are being built nearby one after another; I hope you will continue your efforts without losing what makes this place unique.

    The room has not been cleaned.

    I stayed for one night on business. After entering the Room, I noticed some trash on the floor that wasn’t mine. When I looked around, there were pieces of snack packaging and food crumbs—clearly the floor hadn’t been vacuumed. I called the front desk and was moved to another Room, but it was right before I was about to take a bath. I had to repack my belongings, change again, and refill the bath, which was a hassle and left me feeling extremely uncomfortable instead of being able to relax before bed. I expected at least some proposal—such as a Room upgrade or a discount for next time—but there was nothing. Even at checkout, there wasn’t so much as an apology, so I left feeling unhappy throughout. Mistakes can happen to anyone, but what bothered me most is that similar complaints appear in past Reviews as well, yet there seems to be no effective prevention of recurrence—and I felt no sincere response at all. It gave me the impression that Mercure has no interest in regaining trust or thinking about how to encourage guests to return. This was my first stay because it is an Accommodation listed on IKYU.com. Despite making my Reservation based on trust in IKYU, this level of experience was very disappointing.

    It was a very disappointing one-night stay.

    This was, unfortunately, the most disappointing stay I have had despite having stayed at Mercure properties overseas several times. It may have been just bad luck, but the staff member handling check-in was extremely unfriendly. In particular, when I returned after eating out and (rarely) lost my room key, the response was very unfriendly, and the charge was handled in a cold, purely procedural manner. It felt as though there was no concern for how sorry and troubled I was. As for the room, perhaps because this Hotel seems to have taken over a very old property, it felt far below Mercure standards. For the same price, I strongly felt that a typical Business Hotel would have been a better choice.

    I’d love to stay here again!

    The Room felt more spacious than it looked in the photos, and I was able to relax comfortably. The sparkling wine I chose from the welcome drink menu was delicious. It was conveniently located near the station and very comfortable, and I would like to stay again if I have the opportunity.

    Due to my mistake, I reserved the wrong bed size and caused inconvenience to the front desk staff. However, thanks to their prompt and flexible response, they quickly prepared a comfortable room that met my needs, allowing me to enjoy a memorable trip in Nagoya. The room I stayed in had a spacious bed and a large bathroom, making my stay very comfortable. In addition to its excellent location just a 3-minute walk from Nagoya Station without getting lost, the breakfast was also delicious. Overall, it was an extremely satisfying stay. I would definitely like to use this accommodation again next time.

    First Stay

    I arrived early, and they kindly allowed me to check in as the Room was ready. Thank you for your consideration. The location is convenient with a convenience store nearby and close to the station. However, there was noticeable dust on the glass table in the Room, which led to a slightly stricter evaluation. The staff were kind and accommodating, for which I am grateful. Thank you for your hospitality.

    The location was great, and the staff were friendly. However, the washlet in the Room initially didn’t work, and I thought it was broken. Eventually, it barely worked but only produced a weak trickle of water, making it unusable. It was an outdated model without controls for water pressure or position adjustment, which surprised me as such old models are still in use. I hope this can be improved. Additionally, I had never seen toothpaste packaged like this before—it came in a paper-like sachet resembling those rectangular sugar packets for coffee—which was quite surprising. The breakfast was very average with nothing special to enjoy, leaving me disappointed. Considering the significant amount paid for my stay, I don’t think I would return again.

    Air conditioning

    The Room's air conditioner did not cool at all, even when set to the minimum temperature of 20°C (strong wind). When I informed the front desk staff about this issue, they said, "We will take care of it," but there was no improvement afterward and no follow-up contact from the staff.

    Thank you for always choosing us when visiting Nagoya.

    Conveniently close to Nagoya Station for late-night arrivals or early morning departures, making it a reliable choice. The Hotel's restaurant operates in the morning and evening, which I think is great for female guests. I’d like to try it next time. The Room is spacious, and having a separate washroom is very convenient. The front desk staff greeted me with a smile.

    A tranquil stay

    Thank you for taking care of me during my business trip. The staff were easy to understand, and the procedures were quick, allowing for a smooth check-in. The room was functional with plenty of outlets and task lighting. Additionally, the closet was separated from the room, making it easy to use. On the other hand, I felt it might be difficult to improve the security box area, which was dark and hard to see (the door opens towards the bed). I had breakfast around 9 o'clock, and the buffet had a full variety, with items being replenished regularly, allowing me to enjoy my meal leisurely without rushing. I noticed the staff communicating with the kitchen about how much of the menu items to prepare (add), which I thought was a sufficient response. It was a quiet and comfortable stay, allowing me to spend time peacefully, unlike the cold outside. I would like to stay again.

    Close to the station

    Conveniently located just a short walk from Nagoya Station. The renovated Room is spacious, user-friendly, and clean. The soundproofing is excellent, so you won't be bothered by any noise from the neighboring Rooms. Even with an extra bed, there's still a sofa and desk, making it spacious. Enjoy a complimentary drink service with a glass of alcohol and toast with mixed nuts for 700 yen. Breakfast offers a limited selection but includes Nagoya specialties, catering to tourists. As a resident of Aichi Prefecture, I recommend the crispy miso katsu. The coffee was delicious. The 12:00 checkout is very convenient, allowing you to visit department stores or watch a movie before heading home. As for improvements, the toilet's water was cold, so it would be nice to have warm water in winter. It might be better to offer toothbrushes and cotton as optional items for those who want them.

    The Room was spaciou...

    The Room was spacious and comfortable. The size of the TV was small for the Room, so it was a bit hard to see. The bath was also spacious, which was nice, but the water pressure of the shower was abnormally low, like overseas showers, which was unsatisfactory. The amenities like soap had a very nice fragrance.

    Not recommended.

    The bed was so hard that I really couldn't sleep. We stayed for two nights as a couple, and before coming here, we stayed at two other hotels, and it was so bad that I couldn't believe such a terrible bed existed. The place had been renovated, and the photos on the internet looked good, but in reality, it was quite old and uncomfortable. I wished we could have moved to another hotel.
