    A conveniently located Hotel near the station.

    The Room is compact, but I had a comfortable stay. The breakfast venue was spacious, and the seating was relatively well spaced, so I could enjoy my meal at a relaxed pace. It is conveniently located just a few minutes’ walk from Tenjin Subway Station, making it easy to get around. This is a Hotel I would like to use again.

    If you provide reminders about locking the Room and being cautious of non-guests who may come to the Room, having a safety deposit box (safe) in the Room would make guests feel more secure during their stay.

    It was great.

    We were upgraded because a Room was available, so we had a more spacious Room, and the bathtub was nice and roomy. The front desk staff gave us a recommended restaurants and food-stall map, which was very helpful. Just across the street, there is a famous food stall called “Kogane-chan,” which was very convenient.

    It was a calm and relaxing Hotel.

    The accommodation is conveniently located, not too close or too far from the bustling Tenjin area, with an adjacent parking lot, making it ideal for Hakata sightseeing. The room had the characteristic "Monterey" design. Being in the city center, seeking extra spaciousness might depend on your budget. Breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes, including local specialties, which was delightful. I would consider this accommodation as one of my options when visiting Hakata again.

    Comfortable!

    I have stayed at other Monterey La Soeur accommodations in different prefectures, but this was my first time here. Although it was a single room, I had a very comfortable stay and felt like staying another night. I will definitely choose to stay here again!

    The service is pleasant, but the water facilities might not be ideal.

    The staff provided very kind and thoughtful service, even saying "You must be tired" to me when I arrived feeling completely worn out. The warm check-in experience made me feel at ease and allowed me to relax. The Room was spacious enough for two people, with two chairs available so there was no issue with seating. Although the refrigerator was a bit small, it wasn’t a problem since we enjoyed dining out. There was plenty of space under the bed to store our bags. As for the bathroom, there were some minor issues like a bit of mold on the ceiling and an overall retro vibe that felt slightly dated. However, the bathtub itself was spacious and very satisfying. For a one-night stay, it was more than satisfactory!

    Conveniently located near Tenjin Station. The Room was clean, and the front desk service was polite. However, the front desk had a strong smell of cigarettes, which was unpleasant. As the front desk represents the Hotel, it felt disappointing.

    I had a pleasant stay.

    The Room was clean, the bed was wide enough for one person, and I had a comfortable stay. Although I arrived for breakfast just before the end of service, I wasn't rushed and enjoyed a delicious meal.

    This is my third stay since last year. The breakfast is delicious. The menu is well-balanced, featuring local specialties like ham that change daily, and there are various desserts to enjoy as well. Personally, I recommend the daily soups, which are often rich and flavorful, such as white corn or pumpkin. Having a convenience store on the first floor is very convenient, and the accommodation is about a 5-minute walk from Tenjin Subway Station. It’s also close to commercial facilities like Parco and Solaria. At night, you can enjoy Hakata's vibrant atmosphere with several food stalls nearby.

    The exterior felt old, but the interior was clean and well-maintained, with spacious Rooms. I was very satisfied. I would definitely like to stay again.

    The Monterey Hotel chain is stylish both inside and out, and the accommodation prices are relatively reasonable, so I often use them. However, during my recent stay at this hotel, my son mentioned feeling uncomfortable as he saw a guest (possibly a foreigner?) in the lounge area who had opened their bag and was down to just their underwear. This should have been visible from the front desk, so I would appreciate it if such situations could be addressed. Other than that, I was satisfied with my stay and would like to use this accommodation again, but I sincerely hope for better attention to such matters.

    Great location

    While not right next to the station, it is conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from Tenjin Underground Shopping Mall. There are also famous food stalls across the street, making it very convenient.

    A well-maintained Hotel.

    I stayed at La Soeur for the first time in a while. Although this accommodation has been around for quite some time, the guest rooms are well-maintained. I’ve seen reviews mentioning "old facilities," but it feels like a charming renovation reminiscent of a European boutique hotel. I particularly liked the Parisian-style water faucets. The cleaning was thorough, even in small details, making my stay very pleasant. It was raining during my visit, but there were towels placed at the check-in counter with a thoughtful note saying "Please feel free to use." Such gestures are especially appreciated by women. The front desk staff maintained just the right level of interaction—never overbearing or dismissive—and were both polite and kind. The lounge offered drinks, and I enjoyed delicious coffee there, which made me happy. The Monterey Group never disappoints its guests! I often use their hotels in Tokyo and Kansai as well; all of them have a European-inspired atmosphere that is well-maintained despite being slightly older properties, ensuring comfort throughout your stay. This accommodation is also safe and recommended for solo female travelers. Looking forward to staying again when attending another baseball game!

    From Single to Twin!

    I had a reservation for a single room, but since there was availability, I was accommodated in a twin room. It was a great deal to stay in a twin room at a low price. As expected, the Monterey series hotels are clean and have beautiful interior designs!

    At check-in, the room's design and atmosphere were lovely, and I thought I would like to stay again. However, unfortunately, on both nights of my multiple night stay, there was road construction directly below the room from midnight to late at night, and I couldn't sleep well due to the noise. The leaflet in the room announced construction from August to December, but I think it should have been informed before the reservation. I couldn't help but confirm if I had accidentally booked a "special condition plan."

    The location is good. The breakfast was also delicious. The Room was smaller than the last time I stayed, and once the extra bed was in, there was no space to open the suitcase. There was also a lounge next to the front desk. I think it's convenient because there is also a convenience store.

    I stayed here for the first time in a few years, but

    Stayed for the first time in a few years. There are more foreigners now, and I got the impression that manners are poor. The front desk staff seemed to be having a hard time, but I felt that their response during check-in and after could be a bit more flexible. The facilities seem to be maintained, but the plumbing is old. In particular, the shower curtain is too short to be functional. Additionally, it clings to the body due to the shower's airflow, which is very unpleasant. There are also some rusty areas, so it would be better to inspect the facilities. Although cleaning is done, it feels sloppy, and I ended up wiping some areas myself because they bothered me. This stay was a bit disappointing.
