    Excellent customer service

    The flight was delayed, so I checked in late, but the staff provided a pleasant response. The retro atmosphere was surprisingly comfortable. The staff's service was excellent, and it made me want to stay at this Hotel again.

    A charming and cozy Hotel

    It was a very charming and pleasant Hotel. I made the Reservation because it was close to the area I wanted to visit, and the breakfast was delicious, so I am very satisfied. The staff were also polite and excellent. Thank you very much.

    You can experience an exotic atmosphere.

    I stayed for two nights this time. The Hotel features intricate tile decorations, creating a charming Portuguese atmosphere with its beautiful exterior and interior design. Unlike a typical Business Hotel, it offers a unique ambiance that enhances the travel experience. Here are the highlights: - Complimentary bottled water was provided in the Room. - The shower in the bathroom could be switched to mist mode, which was very pleasant. There were no issues with hot water supply. - When the breakfast venue was crowded, I returned to my Room without waiting in line and received a call via internal phone when a seat became available. - Breakfast included standard options as well as specialties from Nagasaki; the Chinese porridge was particularly delicious. - The staff provided exceptionally courteous service and gave great recommendations for dining spots at the front desk. - Conveniently located near a train station, within walking distance of Glover Garden and Shinchi Chinatown. It was my first trip to Nagasaki, and not only did I enjoy sightseeing, but I also had a comfortable stay at this Hotel!

    The hotel was clean ...

    The hotel was clean and conveniently located near the tram station. However, the provided pajamas or room wear had torn hems—my mother's on the first day and mine on the second—which was disappointing. Additionally, the showerhead height could not be adjusted, making it difficult for my 150 cm tall mother to use comfortably.

    A convenient Hotel near Glover Tei, ideal as a sightseeing base.

    Within walking distance to Glover Garden, Dutch Slope, and Shinchi Chinatown, this Hotel is conveniently located for sightseeing. Its functional yet compact design exudes charm and character. During our Multiple Night Stay, we discovered a nearby shop with delicious sandwiches and coffee, perfect for takeout while exploring the area. We are grateful for the staff's kind assistance despite our scheduling mistake. The warm hospitality of all the employees left us feeling comforted. Thank you for taking care of us!

    Excellent

    I have stayed at Hotel Monterey multiple times, and I am always very satisfied with the excellent service and the quality of the meals. Additionally, I appreciate that it is quiet and you rarely hear other guests' voices or noises. I look forward to staying at Hotel Monterey again next time.

    Being in the city center, it’s understandable. It might be close to tourist attractions.

    The breakfast in Nagasaki's city center seemed promising, so I made a reservation the day before. Although it was a budget single plan, I requested a room with a nice view for sightseeing purposes and was assigned to the top floor. Unfortunately, due to the location and structure, the view wasn't as good as expected. The room size was typical of a business hotel, so it wasn't very relaxing. However, I was satisfied with the bed and cleanliness. The front desk staff were all very accommodating and made my stay enjoyable. The much-anticipated breakfast exceeded expectations—it was so delicious that I ended up overeating! Major tourist spots are within walking distance for convenient sightseeing. It’s a bit of a walk to reach the downtown dining area for dinner, but I enjoyed strolling along the way. Overall, if only the room had been slightly better, it would have been perfect—but that's something beyond control. Still, thanks to the amazing staff members who were absolutely wonderful, I'd choose this hotel again without hesitation! I had an enjoyable and relaxing stay—thank you very much!

    A pleasant impression of Monterey-style hospitality.

    The building is very attractive with a characteristic Monterey style, and I found the customer service exceptionally excellent. The convenience of being just 3 minutes from the Medical Center Mae bus stop was also a great advantage.

    Recommended Hotel for those not accustomed to traveling.

    The Hotel has expert concierges. Even if you are not familiar with Nagasaki, you can convey your wishes and experience the best of Nagasaki! The Room is spacious and clean, and you can enjoy a relaxing bath. There are convenience stores and supermarkets nearby, so I wanted to stay for a week!

    A stylish and compac...

    A stylish and compact Hotel with an exotic atmosphere, conveniently located within walking distance to tourist attractions such as Oura Church and Glover Garden. My wife and daughter also mentioned that their skin felt smooth after using the Mirable shower.

    The location is excellent.

    The location of the Hotel is within walking distance to tourist spots such as Glover Garden and Chinatown, making it very convenient for sightseeing. The tram and tour bus stops are also nearby, making the location excellent. Unfortunately, we had dinner in Chinatown, but we had breakfast at the Hotel. It was a buffet, but we enjoyed it very much. The smoothies, in particular, were exquisite.
